Today as usual I was checking out some videos on youtube and I saw the advertisement of DCORP it was so awesome.
Congrats again DCORP for another week of success, yeah alicea their advertisement in youtube was really awesome. I can't expect that DCORP were became famous for this past few weeks. I want also to congratulate the DCORP for their successful project. There are 1,700 investors now that invested in the project. Yeah you're correct that the advertisement of the DCORP in the youtube is really heplful to promote their project. Social media campaigns is very important in a campiagn to get high exposure and to attract investors once the crowdsale starts. Hoping that dcorp will reached thier goal after the ico. I also wanted to congratulate DCORP in advance for a successful crowdsale, though it hasn't finished yet I believe it was successful not just because of the campaigns held here at bitcointalk but because they ventured their marketing strategy to youtube and ads also on some websites. It indeed was a great tactic.

I don't have any problems with the search function as long as I typed in the important word on it and I usually just type 1 word. And sometimes I google them too because the results are much faster.

Actually all coins are 50/50 and is possible to flop if the developer wants to, same as with bitcoin it has a possibility it will flop too. You just have to choose the best coins currently that have projects and are progressing when investing in them.

I thought by now people have already figured out to divide or the most commonly used term is diversify your money if really want to make profit, so instead of just investing bitcoin you also invest other alternate coins. I think you just wanted to fast forward to August 1st so people will be hyped about the news about bitcoin.

I thought the correction has started already and btc did reach $3000 last week, I feel like it'll retest again and try to reach around $3400 before it tries the $4000 mark.

I don't think btc is crossing over the $3000 mark anytime soon yet, though it did reach that amount last weekend. I think it'll stay around $2400 - $2700 before it tries to reach a new ath again.

I think a lot of people investing in XRP had long gone and transferred to another coin that's decentralized and has projects. But there are some who are still holding on to some XRP's in their wallet. You can hold them but I'm not sure about 2 years in my opinion.

Is anyone concerned with this drop in bitcoin? I've only just jumped on the bandwagon and i've lost 10%-30% of my value already. I'm new to the market and enjoyed a good bit of stability and upward graphs for a little bit, so I thought it was mostly positive. Is this jump down a typical trend that results in pushing for highs again? or do you reckon it can be backlash of people shying away coming nearer August 1st?
I'm unsure if to try cash the coins to another altcoin or something to try gain some more value back or just hold for a while.
I actually lost 50% of my value with bitcoins current price right now but I'm not at all worried about the value that was dropping. Bitcoins price fluctuates ever since before but it usually increase or rise back up, so we do not need to worry about it at all.

I'm not holding my bitcoin because its better for me to withdraw my bitcoins to my country's currency. Because there were some issues regarding this that some people tend to lose their money on their own wallet. Its so rough that they worked hard for that money and the wallets company disabled his acc for nothing. The company said that he failed on following the rules but he said he didn't, he followed all rules and regulation.
That is kind of scary, what wallet was this being used? Was he able to recover the money he has on that wallet though? Anyways, I am currently still holding on to my bitcoins but the capital I invested for trading was withdrawn when I reached the target I was aiming for.

I am not an expert when it comes to trading since I was new to the crytoworld end of last year but before I went for trading, I thought a thousand times how much would I invest in this and that if I invested in this certain amount I would be willing to risk it (meaning its a 50/50). Then I read about trading and registered here at bitcointalk to know more and I was just curious if I could really learn something (which I did). The "buy low sell high" strategy was a good strategy before bitcoin went crazy on the prices and that was the time I tried short term trading, that's my opinion though so I went for long term after it pump crazy up until now. So if that was just the amount of bitcoin you are investing for trading, just hold on to them and don't sell them even if the prices went low.

I think the only way to know which altcoins will be listed on some exchange sites is by following those altcoins on twitter or slack or any social media sites, I've noticed they give you some kind of a clue or some updates regarding the coin especially after crowdsale.

A lot of coins had actually went up for the past months and my top 3 coins for this year that'll reach x100 in a year (I hope so) would be NEM, WAVES and DIGIBYTE.

If you are talking about the popularity declining due to the decreasing price of bitcoin then you have a misconception. Bitcoin is still the most popular cryptocurrency of all, the ups and downs of BTC price is not a new thing here. I am sure that the price will soon going to increase rapidly as the demand will shoot up high.
That's exactly what I thought, its popularity cannot and should not be measured by the decline in value, in actual terms maybe the number of people that dumped are going to be led than those who will buy them again and so contrary to the earlier belief the popularity will be on the rise. I agree, or most probably those people who think the decreasing of value of bitcoin is declining are those who haven't seen the ups and downs of bitcoin a few years back. And yes if by popularity I think bitcoin is still most popular than those of other alternate coins now that have skyrocketed its value.

Just expect the worst if you want to know how much it'll probably decrease. For we can't really tell for sure the exact amount it will drop down to. Anyways if it'll decrease, for sure it will rise back up again just like what it did for the past few years.

Hold your BTC. If the hard fork goes the worst possible way then there will be 2 blockchains and you will have coins on both of them. Maybe they will both be valued half of what Bitcoin was, but the price will increase on both of them, meaning that you'll ultimately have gains. If it goes well, then the value of the one true Bitcoin will increase substantially due to the fact that a major roadblock will have been surpassed.
I totally agree, don't be afraid of the possible hard fork. For sure bitcoin will still increase no matter how deep it will fall, just hold on to your bitcoin.

If you are making this prediction based on the recent boom in ETH price and dump in bitcoin price than you are getting it wrong. ETH and BTC are completely different thing and both have their own benefits, both can co-exist and might share marketcap that's all. Bitcoin will always be considered as store of value while ETH will be platform for dapps (decentralized applications).
I agree with everything you said, and just because bitcoins price right now is dumping doesn't really mean it is ending like yahoo in the future. In fact, we can not really foretell what is ahead of us.

|
|
Yes I think there is a big possibility bitcoin will lose its current value like drop down to whatever or how low it could go down but I don't think it'll stay down too for a long time, bitcoin has been progressing over the years so I'm sure it'll raise back up though it will take a couple of years but it'll surely do.
|
|
|
No, I don't do daily withdrawal not unless I really need the money but usually I set down a target on when I will withdraw my coin balances from the exchange sites.
|
|
|
I agree, now is the right time to buy bitcoin while the price is low. Or you can buy a certain amount every time it goes down a certain amount, set your goal or target on which amount you buy bitcoin and do averaging. Take advantage while its correcting its value.

It'll take you forever to earn 1btc just by joining signature campaigns without any skills. It would be understandable though if you invested the $200 btc you earned and do trading while you are in a signature campaign, at least the earning you have is not stagnant and is profiting instead of just sitting pretty somewhere.
