322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countdown to the 4th Bitcoin halving.. what should we expect? on: April 07, 2024, 02:03:58 AM
Everyone is eager to see what is going to be like on the occasion of the halving event, well, all i can say now is for us to do all we can while ensuring that we are investing and holding, because the market already is going unpredictable and we can begin to see the massive rise anytime from now, instead of us expecting what it may be like or look, we can have our hands on something that may give us opportunity over our investment on it, the earlier the better.

We have already seen seen an ATH just before the halving and it's mainly because of ETF's. Normally after a year of halving we start seeing price increase but this time conditions are different. The halving and ETF's both will put pressure on Bitcoin price and by the end of this year there is fair chance that BTC may touch 100k. It's just a guess as there is very low possibility that anyone can predict the future price of Bitcoin.
ETFs have been creating significant changes with bitcoin price and it did surge high most likely because of ETFs approval. Add to it is the upcoming bitcoin halving wherein it also excites majority of old and new investors to accumulate more bitcoin because it’s being anticipated that when bitcoin halving happens, bitcoin price will grow due to its scarcity that makes the supply limited, hence increasing its demand that eventually lead to an increase in its own price.

With this, I am more optimistic to see bitcoin touching the price of $75k to $85k after bitcoin halving. And most likely, it will continue to skyrocket once the final bull run enters the market as well, thus creating a bullish market for all those coins who have high potentials to increase in price, most particularly for bitcoin, the king of crypto.
Yes, ETF approval could have a significant impact on the cryptocurrency market, especially Bitcoin. And this approval could attract more institutional investors, and potentially increase liquidity and promote price stability. The current movement of Bitcoin is very different, this is due to the ETF approval which is approaching the halving which will occur in the near future which makes new and old investors very optimistic to wait for it and also collect more Bitcoin.
And reaching 75K I think will happen in the near future after the halving comes and will cause a significant increase, and maybe it will reach 100k or even more because we can't predict for sure but for that price I think it could happen.

Arsenal and M.City had comfortable wins today and finished the week without any problems.
Tomorrow Liverpool will play M.United and it is a very important game for them. If they fail to win this game Liverpool will fall behind their rivals and will drop from the lead to 2nd place.
And this is what I'm afraid of in the match between Manchester United and Liverpool tomorrow in front of Manchester United fans, because in their last meeting Manchester United successfully won over Liverpool in the FA Cup with a score of 4-3.
And when Manchester United plays at home against Liverpool it always produces good results, and it will be a worry for Liverpool's results at the top of the standings if they lose or draw the match against Manchester United later. And of course this will be an interesting match and Liverpool must be careful when facing Manchester United, even though from the 5 meetings between the two teams, Manchester United's results are superior to Liverpool's, but that is not a benchmark because anything could happen.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it right to advice other people against gambling for personal reasons like?? on: April 06, 2024, 08:47:42 PM
All gamblers have experienced defeat when gambling, it's just that everyone has different problems and different ways of gambling. And I don't think it's wrong if you advise other people because you don't want them to experience the same thing, but what you have to know is that every gambler has a different character, strategy and way of gambling.
And for example if you tell me about gambling behavior or incidents that you experience. Maybe I would answer, my gambling behavior is not the same as yours because I gamble using money that I can afford to lose, and I only gamble on weekends just for fun and that too if I have the urge to gamble. If not, I wouldn't do it and there are many other differences that make your suggestions fall on deaf ears because of the differences that exist.

Before the final draw I would like to ensure that we did not leave any valid entry from the survey. The following set of address are eligible for the draw. We had to remove many entries because the address provided for the blockchain was wrong. Example: Eth, Tron etc. We did not mind an address for Bitcoin which is not bech32 though.

Do I missed something?? I see that I am not on the list.. I have participated to the survey the first day and made a share on other social network for another entry too  Roll Eyes
I also didn't get on the list even though I had followed it from the start, and the problem was because I took the survey more than once with different answers, which caused my wallet address to be disqualified and not registered.
And as for @Danydee's problem, I don't know what the problem is, it's best to join her telegram channel to find out the problem.

329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: April 05, 2024, 09:56:30 PM
Is this the wrong advice? A friend of mine took over his father's company because he is so old already and he told me about the money thats available doing nothing in the bank.

I told him to think about investing that money if he wants to keep the company growing, I told him about how MicroStrategy is doing so well using Bitcoin as a strong backbone of the company, I believe that even a small company can turn big if they use Bitcoin as their main investment.

Or am I wrong? I need to know if this advice is a good one or a bad one, I gave him this advice because we are very close and also because I will do the same thing if I am in his shoe, this is the best thing i can think of right now.
If he were in your position maybe you would, and my question is. Does he have knowledge about Bitcoin and also understand or know the risks that will occur if it does not go according to expectations.
Although I think you are not wrong because you do know Bitcoin well as a whole. However, it is better if he is given sufficient understanding and knowledge in detail and includes the existing risks, and after that the decision is in your friend's hands after he has this knowledge and has also carried out thorough research.
And this avoids that your friends will blame you if what happens doesn't go as expected, and even though Bitcoin is promising, anything can happen due to several factors that you never knew before.
330  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling problems on different races on: April 05, 2024, 09:32:00 PM
Race does not determine whether someone will become a gambling addict or not. Everyone has a reason for becoming an addict. Maybe, Africa has a small addiction rate, it's not because of race, but because of its economy. You mentioned that at the beginning. Other continents have better economies, so addiction rates are higher, because people there have financial support and facilities.
That's right, being an addict doesn't look at race or anything and it all depends on individual circumstances, especially from a financial perspective. Because to gamble you have to have money to support it, and if you don't support it then they will think many times about doing it.
And as we know the African economy is not the same as the economies of other countries and if the level of addiction is not significant then it makes sense, so every individual becomes an addict because they often gamble and have enough money. And for addiction it depends on whether the individual gambles responsibly or not.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: April 05, 2024, 04:34:25 PM
Share your opinion about this two mistakes with your experience.
I have nothing much to shear because those two things you have listed, I have not take them serious. Right from time I am never a greedy nor an over confident gambler. I always play gamble but gamble with my sense because I know how gambling has destroyed alot of people's destiny due to the inability to understand the way about of gambling.  No doubt greediness has a great effect on people's life because it Leeds to mental or emotional diverstation due to frequent betting without win to an extent people sell their property to take the risk yet nothing to show fort. Instead of winning they end up losing all they have.
I agree with you people who gamble out of greed lose their money because if they win once they gamble and greed works in their mind they may think that if I bet twice as much the second time I will win the bet. In this way, due to greed, many gamble become almost destitute. But those who gamble mainly with sharpness and discretion can make good money through this gambling but of course gambling should never become an addiction because the addict is losing his cash.
And that is gambling because it cannot be separated from curiosity which gives rise to greed, and this excessive curiosity is what makes gamblers lose control and play without awareness. Because when they win they will try again and hope that the next bet will win again, and when they lose they try again maybe they will win and continue like that which makes them lose control and ultimately lose everything.
Gambling must be done with full awareness so as not to get carried away by the atmosphere of the game, because this will result in you being controlled by the game which will make you lose continuously and cannot be controlled. And if you play with full awareness then you have the ability to master the game and can also control yourself to play responsibly and very carefully, and you can stop when you are winning and not be tempted to continue playing in the hope of winning again because it's greed.
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: April 05, 2024, 04:04:10 PM

It seems that the more poor you are (and the fewer the investments that you have), the more important it is to both establish an emergency fund and also to maintain that emergency fund in cash rather than in any other assets.
Yes, that's basically factual because, there's no diversification in income streams to be able to fund the establishment of investments. Emergency funds as it were shouldn't be on assets form as they could suffer value fluctuation, and sometimes won't be the actual value you've set for emergency, and you cannot even predict the scale of the emergency.

I think that the longer that anyone invests, the more and more comfort that he should have about having had built various systems to protect his investment, but surely one of the problems becomes that sometimes people will start to unnecessarily take extra risks with some of their investment and not protecting themselves as much as they should, and surely there can be points in which your holdings are more vulnerable than others
Well, most extra (unnecessary)risks that people take in their investments, like you said earlier I'm previous posts, is having a lot more than 10% holdings in shitcoins, and is obviously a waste of percentage that could be put in Bitcoin investment.

Investing in shitcoins long term is foolish, never make that mistake Bitcoin is trustworthy as far as possible If you invest $100 $100 you invest in Bitcoin. Then you can benefit the most, because long-term investment in bitcoins will certainly reap benefits. And if you can't then start saving bitcoins in DCA method. Of course you invest in bitcoins success is sure to come but you have to be patient.

And maybe because there are some shitcoins that are tempting, but if you don't do a thorough analysis and don't do it well and don't follow it from the start it will be in vain and very risky.
There is nothing better than Bitcoin for long-term investment and this has been proven other than shitcoins which do not have strong evidence, other than Bitcoin.
And I think this DCA method is good and easy for beginners and also good for those who don't have the ability to buy Bitcoin in large quantities. Because we can buy according to our abilities periodically without forcing circumstances that do not support buying in large quantities, and do it for the long term and Bitcoin will definitely provide good returns for us.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 05, 2024, 03:48:27 PM
People who didn't watch this game missed a lot that's what I can say the best for this one.  Grin  Both sides were like they swore an oath to not give up to the end of the game. Such a dedication they had by coming from behind. I don't think like Manchester United didn't deserve to win honestly. They also did but they were unlucky.

The very late goals for Chelsea devastated the Red Devils. Palmer's luck was also beside him on his last goal but I must admit that he had a superb performance in general.  Smiley  He is definitely the best transfer made by Chelsea in the recent times.
In fact, Manchester United deserved to win yesterday but everything became very annoying when they underestimated it so that it made MU players less focused.
Palmer and Gallagher are often not given any obstacles and this is the mistake of MU's defenders who are very careless when it comes to monitoring the opponent's important players.
Everyone will know how the problem happened even before I say the mistake, surely you already know it too.
Chelsea's victory could not be separated from Diogo Dalot's mistake, who committed a violation in the penalty box and made Manchester United lose focus. And Chelsea's victory was thanks to Cole Palmer who completed an extraordinary hat trick well and the last two goals he scored just one minute apart left Manchester United humiliated.
And Manchester United's defense was terrible and Cole Palmer's two penalty kicks should not have happened, and this will be a lesson for Erik ten Hag to give firmness to his defenders.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 04, 2024, 10:10:39 PM
Chelsea is one of the worst clubs and have not show any signs of seriousness,  I have ever seen, and ever then, I have laughed at how they were able to equalize you without any stress or lead by two zero. The game will end 3–2 am sure, and Chelsea supporters should start tactfully departing the stadium. A. Garnacho has added another goal. The ironic thing is that, despite Chelsea surrendering 14 goals in six games, their coach does not seem concerned. It's not my fault, coach; those boys have lost all credibility. And Manchester United is making every effort to hold onto their top 4 ranking. People are blaming the coach what do you expect him do on the pitch and play or pick up cane to flogg is players. Chelsea is only manifesting there faith.
Well I guess you could say never say never or probably say the match isn't actually over till the final whistle is blown. What am interesting game tonight because from the looks of things at first , it turn out that Chelsea are going to win by a land slide and then  Manchester united came back and secured an equalizer and even score another making them lead but when the final whistle Chelsea came out Victorious.
And I saw Chelsea working hard and trying to win this match and they played very aggressively but their efforts were not in vain, and Cole Palmer was the savior and he also scored a hat trick and also successfully executed two penalty kicks.
And I also thought Chelsea would lose or draw, but in the end Chelsea was able to create an extraordinary situation with very limited extra time, they were able to turn things around to change the score to 4-3 against Manchester United.

I have to thank Cole Palmer because he scored a hat trick, and I was previously pessimistic that the overall Premier League goals in week 31 would end up at 27 or 28. And Cole Palmer could change that and the overall goals in week 31 would be 29 goal and that's my number and I hope I'm not wrong.

337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone here ever visited El Salvador and tried paying with bitcoin there? on: April 04, 2024, 06:07:00 PM
I've never been to El Salvador and I think going there would be a waste of money just because I want to know how to pay using Bitcoin there and I think it's better to buy or collect more Bitcoin, and even though El Salvador was the first country to legalize Bitcoin , it's not like I have to go there to find out the situation.
And regarding the issue of Bitcoin as a transaction tool, in my opinion it is the same, there is no difference and it is the same as in our country if there are traders or shops that use Bitcoin payments. And maybe the only difference is that it's legal and Bitcoin can be used freely for any transaction just like fiat, and I think we'll experience that too and it's just a matter of time. Wink
338  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: April 04, 2024, 11:33:18 AM
In a day I do 60 push ups regularly, dividing them into 3 sets and 1 set consists of 20 push ups which I did when I first commented on this thread and now my weight is stable and according to what I want. And my current weight is 80kg, that's what I want and even though my height is 172 and my weight is 80kg, you could say it's not ideal. But I'm comfortable with a body weight of 80kg, because I also don't like being skinny.
And what happens when I do push ups is that I have more money, because I reduce or even eliminate my habit of buying fatty fast food and drinks and also all foods that can increase weight. And I switched to increasing the number of Bitcoin purchases I make every few weeks and regularly every month, and I really enjoy 2 amazing benefits. I've lost weight, I'm healthy and muscular, and I've also been able to increase my Bitcoin purchases and I've experienced incredible benefits from both.

Cheers. Grin
