We’d like to declare that our ICO has come to an end. Thereupon we want to take stock of our achievements and reflect on the challenges and opportunities that have opened up for MeetnGreetMe within these months. Although we haven’t reached our Hard Cap, we do not take our ICO as a negative experience. We have introduced our own cryptocurrency to increase efficiencies of our business model. We will implement it to our working platform: make it the means of payment and the rewarding and incentivizing tool in MeetnGreetMe ecosystem. Now, all the token holders can pay up to 20% of the cost of MeetnGreetMe services in WELs. Moreover, this ICO also allowed us to raise awareness about MeetnGreetMe and gain publicity; attract new partners and interest from potential investors. Though, we are bound to note that we have faced some difficulties during the main sale. We experienced a lot of interest from potential contributors but it looked like due to the ETH drop, the crypto community was unsure about contributing. That’s what we’ve faced and what we’ve heard from the crypto community. At first, we were very sad about it. Still, we continued to act based on our plans excluding activities that became unreasonably expensive due to ETH price fall. We used marketing channels like influencer/email/social media marketing, AirDrop, Telegram bots, Community meetings, Bounty Program, Conferences pitches and ICO trackers; these campaigns brought a lot of attention but no significant results. There was also a place for some disappointments: personal agreements didn’t work out, some of the marketing partners turned out to be underhanded, and on top of that we encountered a lot of scammers who used our personalities to contact potential investors. The ICO itself wasn’t our goal, it’s just one of the tools for MeetnGreetMe to become successful and bring benefits to our community. We are very thankful to those of you who not only contributed to our ICO but also shared their opinion and expertise in developing such businesses as MeetnGreetMe. For us, the end of the token sale is just the beginning of our platform’s growth. We have a number of important meetings with people from Silicon Valley scheduled for this summer, we are in the process of discussing several partnerships. So we can assure you that not being very successful during the ICO is not a failure but another challenge for us, and we accept it.
