3201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome bonus for you? on: July 30, 2020, 09:07:39 AM
First of all, I will make sure the site is old and legit.

$50 welcome bonus is good for me. But there are some that gives 100% bonus of up to 1 btc. That is good enough as well, I can deposit 0.002 btc to receive 0.004 btc.

Nobody will even believe you about that hundred percent up to 1 BTC welcome bonus.
That's hilarious dude.
No one, or no casinos will ever give that huge amount just for welcome bonus.
Maybe that was just a bait? Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that "casino" is a scam.
3202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Bet Trading Plan ( Bet Trading Market ) on: July 30, 2020, 07:48:04 AM
What gambling site are you using to have that odds? I do agree that with sportsbetting you have higher chance of winning, mostly because if you have the passion for that particular sport, you have idea about the performance of each team. And yes, if you learn how to strategize, you will get good profits.

Indeed, also when you know about the gameplays of the team that you are betting, the more you have the probability to correctly predict who's gonna win.
If you know that team A is much stronger and experienced than team B, then you will know which team you will put your bet on.
You know how to assess or to even predict the result of the game because you are very aware about the game and it's strats.
3203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS BETTING? on: July 30, 2020, 06:47:27 AM
Please allow me to ask here if there are any esports betting platform that integrates block chain technology like in bitcoin and other strong altcoins? I am a fan of ESPORTS game especially DOTA2 and I know already some of the platforms used for betting ESPORTS but I do love more if it is using blockchain.

I will be happy to see if you can find or lead me to a betting platform with blockchain technology for ESPORTS game.

You can bet on current e-sports tournaments using cryptocurrencies at FortuneJack casino.
There are varies options where you can bet.
You can place your bet on FortuneJack on predicting/guessing who you think will:
  • win the game,
  • take the first aegis of the game,
  • destroy the first tower
  • destroy the first barracks
this is an example of betting in DOTA 2 at FJ.
There are varies of e-sports there like LOL, Counter-Strike, and Overwatch where you can place your bet.

Recently I also had the encounter about Lootbet.
I am just not sure if they are supporting cryptos for betting.
3204  Other / Meta / Re: [GAME] Bitcointalk game on: July 30, 2020, 05:57:40 AM
    Some suggestions:

    1. Maybe add the title of the game on both landing page and on the questions page.
Or replace the "Bitcointalk.org" on the landing page with the title of the page.

    2. I think it is better the questions and choices are shuffled everytime the player repeats playing.

    3. If the answer was wrong, display also the correct answer .

    4. For the later features, add some levels of difficulties and types of quiz for the game to become more challenging.

    5. Also for future features, the result should have equivalent evaluation.

    6. Add more questions that is randomly generated every game, but limited only with 10 each game.[/li][/list]

The overall content and UI is good. Simple and recognizable that the game is related with the forum.
The questions can be answered offline. And on the otherhand, the landing page requires internet.

    Excited to see future updates!
    Goodluck!

    3205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: July 29, 2020, 02:19:28 PM

There's a bunch of streamers on twitch that's playing chess right now and you can't believe that it has a lot of viewers. One of those popular streamers is GM Hikaru, he also played on those tournaments that I've mentioned. Even the top 1 overall rating, GM Magnus Carlsen, is also streaming in twitch.

We all knew that most popular games are LoL, CS:GO, Dota 2, and Fornite but recently, a medieval game which is chess, climbed to the top of the most played games in twitch. This game is a sport and can even be considered in eSports since it can be done electronically so I hope there are gambling sites that consider this game on their platform.

I did not really knew about chess online being streamed on twitch, until I read it here.
Chess is a sport, and through technological adaptation people were able to play it online.
Because of that people should recognized it also as an e-sport.

I guess, it will be good to have gambling sites that is mostly dedicated on chess betting, or even to play chess and battle other online gamblers to win cryptos or fiat.
I know that it will only have small market, but some gamblers might also turn into it because chess is purely not based on luck.
It will gain more market in the long run.
3206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 29, 2020, 01:38:42 PM
I mainly used doge, bitcoin, and litecoin when gambling on different casinos and even on exchanges.
I also gamble some of IEOs/ICOs that are paired with doge on an exchange.
I use them as a practice to make a good strategy based from the winning rate that I got.

My favorite crypto to gamble is dogecoin.
3207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 29, 2020, 12:05:28 PM
Latest from OGA DOTA PIT 2020, OG defeated Virtus.Pro Prodigy. With the standing of 2-1, OG dominated the final game of the series.
MidOne just show a true carry with his Juggernaut after showing negative gameplays on their last matches.

How do you guys assess OG these days? Do you think they can claim the championship after the return of Ceb?
3208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 29, 2020, 07:22:20 AM
I've been on this forum long enough to see perhaps hundreds of casinos come and go. They keep appearing and dying shortly afterward all the time, and I wonder why people still take such a high risk of opening a casino when there is a close to 100% chance your casino will fail. This got me thinking about popular casinos. Of course, we all know the names. But they are usually years old, not anything from 2019-2020. The one exception is Stake.com, but I wouldn't count it as an example of a new casino appearing out of nowhere and attracting gamblers because it did not come out of nowhere (it's owned by Primedice). Is it just me or are there virtually no recent casinos that got popular? Or can you name some examples? And in general, do you think new casinos appearing in 2020 stand a chance against those with solid reputation and long time on the market?

The number of online casinos that are appearing is accelarating from time to time. The competition between old & reputable casinos and new casinos.
New casinos can probably survive the competition if they will spent a lot of money to promote their casino. And ofcourse, with fair and good deals that the gamblers are looking for.
Through that promotion they will have a higher chance to gain trusts and eventually survive from competitions.

I think Blackwater will not be for sale now.  Smiley

Blackwater given stern warning, but spared punishment by GAB

    Quote
THE Games and Amusements Board (GAB) issued a stern warning to Blackwater for violating rules and safety protocols of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) after returning to training without clearance.

The Elite, however, were spared punishment by GAB chairman Baham Mitra, who said the team, led by owner Dioceldo Sy, vowed to follow government protocols from hereon.

Maybe the owner has only said those words about selling the team due to frustration, and now that they are spared, I guess they will be neutral now and will be more compliant with the rules.
I guess so. He was just frustated and very angry on that time because they were given punishments and need to pay because they did not complied to the rules given by PBA.
I am sure that he did not mean it.
Blackwater recently has so much potential that is why I believe he will keep the ownership of Blackwater.
3210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should there be any age limit of Gambling? on: July 29, 2020, 05:55:36 AM

What age does categorize a person to be mature enough to Gamble ?

    -18?
    -21?

Does the age even hold a meaning? Should it be regulated ? Since Crypto gambling sites have to be super private and therefore regulating the age is a big factor.

Should steps be taken to take care that we don't being up a generation of addictive gamblers or it's all good ?

Maturity in gambling will depend on how long someone is partaking on it. But ofcourse in the age of 21, you are more matured than you at the age of 18.

If age limits on all online casinos will be implemented, therefore KYCs(Know Your Cusomer/Client) will always be required.

There are also gamblers who stays away on casinos that requires KYCs because they wanted to play anonymously.

No one will give that massive amount for just promoting them. Unless we are back in the past when 5btc has low value
This was the real giveaway back then.

Do not fall into traps guys.

The one major difference between currency and money that many are not conscious of, is the store of value. Currency is not a store of value, in fact, it can even go to zero because of extreme circumstances. It is also volatile because it has no intrinsic value. Money, on the other hand, is a store of value. Gold (which is money) has always been a consistent store of value. Even when the world financial markets become unpredictable, investors turn to gold because it is less risky and more secure.

If you will base it on articles that you've quoted, especially this one, you must believe that Bitcoin is not a money. It is a currency.
Just like what had been mentioned above, currency is not a store of value.
Bitcoin is not a store of value, it is not stable, therefore it could not be titled as money.

    Quote
What about bitcoin? I will like you opinion on this but as for me, bitcoin itself is completely money because it is also a safe haven like gold, currencies can be seen physically.

In fact, bitcoin isn't a safehaven, and it is more risky than gold and silver because it is more volatile. It's value varies largely on it's deman and supply.

    Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency.... 'currency'.
So why did you think that it is not.

3216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public stock markets welcomes cryptocurrencies , is it even necessary on: July 24, 2020, 05:51:44 AM
The thing is, there are people out there that want to take advantage of bitcoin's volatility, potential price rise, and it being a potential market hedge, who don't care about stuff like self-custody and privacy. The people who will use this are simply the typical investors and traders.

While I'm not a fan of it, whatever. If some people want to use these investing instruments, let them. At the very least, we're at least getting more market liquidity, which is always a good thing.

More important about the happening today on Bitcoin is it gains more popularity than ever which is good for the whole crypto industry because this is bitcoin we are talking about, not just some ordinary altcoins. Let's hope that this kind of news will continue for BTC so that the negative impact which was created by those scammers will soon vanish.

To be honest, I don't really see scams vanishing anytime soon or ever. Just look at how dollars are, do you see scamming dwindling? No, but with the semi-anonymous feature of Bitcoin, it's in fact easier to scam than any fiat. I don't know if this news is a good thing or not because people using Bitcoin in a public stock market means that they don't care about their identity (which I think a lot doesn't anyway) but this also means that some investors might get introduced to cryptocurrency too.

The best way to fight those fraudsters either online or offline is to educate ourselves regarding any investments.
There are lots of people who always believe any offer to them are legitimate.

As people become suited of knowledge, they become more careful to invest.

And those fraudster will be lessen because scamming will be really hard to do if people are intelligent enough to avoid and protect themselves from frauds.

As what I have observed, Brainboss really does his job very well on every campaigns that he's incharge.
He is the kind of person whom you can trust to handle the promotion of your project.
He is learning continuously so you can expect better promotions with him.

EXPERIENCEs: Having managed several projects myself and promoted numerous signature campaigns right from my days of Full member, I have secretly observe how each campaign were organized in bringing out the best from the promoters in regards to promoting the project effectively.
