ex-gambit vs moviestars and mov doing very well I thought at least at the start of the map and unfortunately they have stalled into indecision which allows hobbit and company to dice them up, still are doing well relatively.   ex-gambit just failed to count the timer correctly and missed bomb plant end round by couple seconds handing over the round, thats really not ok for a top team think I avoid this team from now on considering the odds were 91% for them .   Also Bluejays from North Macedonia yesterday was a surprise result to me over Copenhagen Flames.
I put a multibet between gambit taking first map and liquid's match later going into 3 maps.
3202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: March 23, 2022, 10:41:35 PM
There is a series of lower highs on the daily bars for this year thus far which has to be defeated as a possible trend.   If this recent high holds and we do not defeat that relative high then it could be seen a reason to be more cautious.

I think the uptrend is stronger but its best not to assume any pattern observable is not going to hold so the overlying series of lower prices on this irregular pattern will need to be tested and we'll at that point find out how solid it is.  Usually any trend does initially have some sell before later being exceeded by continued buying if we do prove to be bullish over this week for example.
3203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: March 23, 2022, 03:19:43 PM
Good progressive steps up recently, despite Dollar strength BTC has been acting well I think.  If dollar were weak it would reveal this hidden bullish element most likely.   We are however at the top of the range for BTC shown this year and so within a trade its best to be cautious as to a reversal possibility around here is best I guess.

3204  Economy / Speculation / Re: No strength in Bitcoin in higher time frames on: March 22, 2022, 11:53:19 PM
The highest time frame I can refer to is the Dollar index which is made up of all the largest FIAT measures in the world.   If we have strong dollar we are unlikely to see many gains in BTC especially, though its still possible it would be uphill

The trend over many years for DXY is downwards but not aggressively so and the range within that trend is very large as we swing between lows and highs.  Presently Dollar is high in fact its exceeded this multi year trend shown here in the brighter blue.  This was a top price observed twice on this chart until the recent war and higher oil price seen during war action.  With the possible NATO, EU and Russian aggression occurring which is the largest war in Europe for some decades with greater contagion possible hence risk aversion has been in influence.  However all currencies continue to be weak despite that pullback in speculative flows and commodities are still booming relatively, I consider BTC to be quite similar to a commodity though its a unique asset.

tl;dr   If you want higher BTC consider the denominator, we really need to observe DXY sub 97 daily weekly then you may see actual greater gains on higher time frames and possibly outside prior boundaries.

You get interest anyway but the bonus amount it increases in your example at the top tier is like 0.1 BTC so yea it is worth it to people with alot of BTC or also anyone who does gamble alot would get the cashback benefit and its worth it to them too.   Anyone else my more humble compadres the spins part of the benefit would be a larger component of why its worth holding, so thats more reliant on luck then exactly calculable but I think on some timeline its worth having for any regular user of the site.

2 madLions matches today back to back which could be a little hard on them and surely theres a chance it overruns into overtime.   Maybe they are accommodated in that possibility or not we'll find out.  Anyhow I think I will just stack them as a multi bet, ENCE and 3 maps vs Hellslayers.    They could lose both fast but I fancy the most contested route, Hellslayers is ex fantic including JW who recently was seen just walking through enemies with flashbangs and flanking the entire team unawares basically something that is never supposed to happen but for JW is quite normal even in his 'old age' apparently :p

Dollar cost average or just regular accumulation over time is one strategy.    Its more attractive to buy when going up a tier though, all of it takes time to actually matter.
Now I realized this, I was already getting 5 spins a day just for having them and was confused to think that I could received more for locking them.

Confusion is reasonable with any new product and the token has a few different dynamics.  Locking will eventually yield a bonus amount given after its ended the lock up and meanwhile you retain all the benefits including the spins no more and no less.     In addition over time the longer the token is held the greater the bonus given as well hence I say Im ok with having it long term and I do think it will be a market that has to mature like whiskey casks :p
3208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 21, 2022, 11:58:54 PM
The computer can calculate every possible move, its a brute force tactic.   I'm glad they can detect and remove people who use that kind of assistance, its really pathetic.   It wont be that rare among the general population because some people will aim to cheat at just about any game they possibly can but actual proper chess players I would hope not as would you ever really improve.
Sadly I did hear of a top player recently caught using a computer while taking a rest room break, I'll look for the link

3209  Economy / Economics / Re: China's strategy on the Ukraine invasion war on: March 21, 2022, 09:16:01 PM
The main link from China to Russia is both are prepared to treat their own people badly to continue the bias towards the most powerful people at the time.  They share a common interest more then any great friendship, they can and will trade on that basis even if the rest of the world were to block them though China has no intention to also receive sanctions in the same way.
3210  Economy / Economics / Re: China's strategy on the Ukraine invasion war on: March 20, 2022, 07:20:03 PM
The only positive from this war is China might think twice about taking the extreme route of attacking Taiwan in some similar misguided idea their regime rules over all its neighbors.   Like Hong Kong they have no respect for any special distinction Taiwan has being completely separate from China for so many decades, seems quite similar to how Russia thinks every former component of USSR is also only in existence so long as it feels like it.
3211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: March 19, 2022, 10:07:34 PM
The volatility of this asset means BTC can go back to 20k, its an unlikely extreme event but to say never is bad luck because it makes this possibility more likely to occur for being a blind spot or an impossibility.   Volatility is not loss exactly, its erratic pricing which is why traders generally like BTC but also its challenging in that way; for stocks you would view the BETA category and this tells you roughly how volatile is this company stock in a similar kind of way some move around alot more but it doesn't make them a bad prospect.
This would be a similar kind of human fallacy that came with the builders of the Titanic believing it can never be sunk, it had bad luck perhaps but it was always possible.  The point is BTC is resilient and if it dips below 30k take advantage of that situation dont be too glum because you fail to break from the crowd in that moment which is usually unprofitable.   Most sell into gloom and buy into hype which is dangerous especially in combination, I wont mind a lower price as I know BTC is quite capable in future years of far higher.

Most immediately BTC price has a good trend upwards, a series of higher lows.

But Ark Innovation ETF has performed poorly in the last 12 months:

12 months is not a proper time to consider investment returns over.   BTC has the same problem in that many are only interested so long as every month its going up or might still go up, if people lose sight of that instant return they depart as if thats the entire story.  This is not the baseline behavior for BTC base gains, its proven itself to be a long term asset surprisingly.
3213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 19, 2022, 08:44:09 PM
^^ Funny but Chess has become a big deal on Twitch which streams all sorts of games.  I never saw them have a bet included within the game but informally possibly yea

Closest you will get to betting on chess is the next big publicized game between the highest ranked players in the world and that's only a maybe.  Sometimes chess games are a big deal sometimes not, its still sports betting despite it being mostly a mind game it would be silly to say a person not in good health will play as well.
3214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 19, 2022, 02:03:22 PM
Do the tolerances really need to be down to 2 minutes, did they have that tight a schedule to broadcast that they cant just discuss for a little longer.     Poor team, maybe they can get a starlink satellite uplink and a power generator as backup like Ukraine peoples

Furia doing very well but so is ENCE somehow they both beaten Vitality.  Map stats says ENCE wins Mirage 70% of the time so maybe go on that as thats especially good.  Both teams won their map pick, Furia is out if they lose this series and ENCE will play again either way.

I'll do a multi bet ex-vp and Faze to win

For the monthly price bet I've said I see range capped which means maybe the odds are good if you are sure where it ends.  For me I like the long shots, I dont think we go far past 45k this month as this is the yearly average similarly Im not expecting a big break of range downwards though I put on something for a hedge.  [There isnt a big volume accumulation so I'd guess we stay within boundaries]
In case anyone that uses Freebitco.in has a mining rig,you can go to unmineable.com and mine FUN token

Nice I need to check the yield for doing that, at least short term I might consider that alternative.   My best choice ever was to mine and keep ETH when it was unpopular around 200 or so, alot of miners do not keep any token or BTC they just switch to dollars but thats been a mistake a few times like 2013 I mined BTC and should have carried on a few months (even in apparent low profit) kept it for the back pocket long term.   Mine a few FUN token here could be an ok idea.   Mining and interest, spins payout etc. is about equal for me & I sold plenty BTC last year to check the risk of it peaking then so I can hold or accumulate FUN ETH or BTC on balance now tbh
3216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Crash in The Next 2 Weeks? on: March 19, 2022, 10:38:02 AM
Right now BTC has a good trend up but if it broke that then be cautious.  Personally Im bullish, I'll try to outline that in a picture but we need to overcome the prior range to really be more positive or we are most likely to simply repeat the boundaries of that range:

3217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Evaluate your Bitcoin for next year on: March 19, 2022, 10:28:13 AM
The price action could be completely flat this whole year and it wont qualify as negative still.    If we had a big peak like 2017 and it sold off to half and declined even further from there and progressively in a continuous way then thats a time to be super cautious and understandable disappointment.   Right now we got plain simple consolidation which is just a way of saying making the ground safe and solid to build on, look at any construction site and making the foundations doesnt look nice but its essential.   We have to revise prices and doing so now makes me optimistic beyond this year.
3218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos invest on endorsement from celebrities on: March 19, 2022, 02:48:52 AM
Casinos will advertise by any means available and essentially effective to bringing in revenue, nothing is more important then raising revenue and its just part of their cost.  I imagine alot of sponsorship is relatively lower expense because of its recognition vs trying to sell a product to an audience who may never have heard of your company before.    Connections via known entities is often more effective then a 'cold call' type sale.
3219  Economy / Speculation / Re: DXY most monthly series action inverse to BTC on: March 19, 2022, 02:31:01 AM
Its not especially likely to bounce to 60k without seeing some kind of decline in DXY first, so it can be a long while waiting.   The bars on that DXY chart are monthly bars across years so its a slow movement most times and at present action is almost breaking out of its decline in Dollar relative to other currencies via the Dollar index price.   That implies BTC would be suppressed in its valuations until dollar is not so strongly viewed, at present FED is raising rates but its just an appearance move rather then actual strength but perception does count.

China is also about to dig oil under the South China Sea.

Too late really, there  is no great evidence China can source any great patch of oil from that area vs their vast requirements.   If they were able to do frack drilling and recover oil quickly in some clever technology use perhaps but this is an entire industry and skillset that has to be built up.  People underestimate the capital resources, the people and machinery required to invest long term in order to get back a steady commodity whatever that might be.
For example Venezuela has greater oil reserves proven over any other country in the world even Saudi Arabia however they do not have a simple way to extract it at profit.  Its dirty oil full of sulphur, sour where as Saudi has the sweet oil and with maybe the lowest cost to extract over anywhere in the world, their cost to access their established oil reserves is very low and this matters.   Right now the price is high and Venezuela should have some ability to produce but its not simple for them and it wont be simple for China it'll take them many decades even if they found the oil tomorrow its not available to them as such.   China will partner with Russia for the oil, thats the path of least resistance.
