3201  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: August 31, 2020, 08:31:54 AM
Interesting thing to see people being able to think like this. I mean I knew that there are people who like tin foil hat type of thinking and why not, they are usually either not hurting anyone or they are just hurting other idiots like them so it is not really a big deal most of the time.

But, this is the same type of thinking that brought us the anti-vaccination people as well, it is a scientifically proven thing that vaccine doesn't cause autism and even if it does at a very tiny minor case, the otherside is death, so I rather have 50%!! (which more like 0.0006% even according to idiots who believe it, the reality is 0%) autism chance over 100% chance. So lets hope that these "covid is not real" type of people do not really start to hurt other people as well and cause more death.
3202  Economy / Economics / Re: The number of jobless people has crossed one million in US - worrying sign? on: August 31, 2020, 05:51:30 AM
The hardest path is the fact that when you talk about how many people died, how many things went wrong, how economy is doing worst in the history and basically all around how things suck, they say "well there is a pandemic going around and it makes sense that things are not good", well first of all A) it wasn't good before pandemic neither, and also B) other nations had the same thing, they didn't face the same problems. So, they are hiding behind corona when they want to protect republicans but when it comes to wearing a mask they say it is a freedom breach to force people to wear a mask.

I really can't stress how much I hate these people, they are really the scum of the earth. You do not support a politician like that, it is just a dude up there, try to be positive about change and criticism every single president and every single politician can do mistakes, just say it is a mistake when you see it instead of defending some idiotic thing they do.
3203  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy will continue to recover - Powell on: August 31, 2020, 04:50:37 AM
What happens in these few months will not have anything to do with whether Trump will be elected or not, and moreover this is something that is quite out of his control. There will be a growth, but it’s not going to happen in a flash, it’s going to take some time before things gets back on normal ground.

The main question people will be asking is how much he has been able to push their economy in the past years before now, and then there are also other things that will go into consideration. I don’t live there, but from what I have heard he helped to raise to raise the economy when he was elected as the president, but people still have so much hatred for him which I think has to do with other things.
3204  Economy / Economics / Re: Your economic outlook and your life for 2021 poll on: August 30, 2020, 07:22:57 PM
COVID-19 has destroyed many small business, with the bigger businesses taking their share of the economic pie. I believe many people lost jobs, but some are doing OK.

Curious, as Bitcoiners, how did the COVID-19 pandemic affect your financial situation, and what is your outlook for 2021?
I still believe that the economy will recover pretty much, so I’m just hoping for the better. I don’t think this is something that we should be killing ourselves over, it would be best for we all if we are positive enough and keep working hard towards making our countries better. This is a time to look out for others and not just yourself, especially those that have lost something due to the pandemic.

At the start it was difficult for so many people, a lot of companies had to stop working and it affected many who lost their jobs. A lot of people were complaining that they can’t afford to buy food for their family and all that. It wasn’t easy.
3205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: August 30, 2020, 06:41:39 PM
I don’t think those people are actually saying that Hodl is better than trading, for me what they are trying to do is let newbies with no experience to know the better option for them. Literally everyone wants to be a trader, and the majority of them fails, especially the newbies.

There are professional traders who are making money from trading and I have seen a lot of them who even say that they rely only on day trading as their main job to make a living, so that means a lot of money can come from it compared to Hodl where you will have to wait for a long time before the price of a coin goes up. But trading is not meant for everyone, and Hodl is the easiest anyone can do, so it’s best to go for that if you are not a good trader.
3206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: August 30, 2020, 05:34:38 PM
Cryptocurrency and stock market may seem quite similar in some ways, but there are ways they are different from each other and you wouldn’t know this until you’re part of it. The media portrays cryptocurrency as a market to make huge profits, and they like to make it seem like there are no risks involved in cryptocurrency trading, which is totally wrong.

I have asked some people why they think cryptocurrency is a good investment to make and their answers they mostly give to me, like 90% of the time, is that cryptocurrency is means to get more money and become rich. They all hear stories of those that turned millionaires, and they believe that if they get in it will also work for them the same way, and the most annoying part of it is that they want that profit to come in a day.
3207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safety first before trading on: August 30, 2020, 04:09:11 PM
I can't believe that people have to be convinced to be careful when they are trading, from the moment your money leaves your bank account to the time when it goes back into your bank account you should be careful about every single moment of it.

From the exchanges getting it, to the moment you trade there, to the moment you pay fee's and basically everything you can think of, do not get me started when the money just sits there and does nothing, even that is very risky if you are keeping it in an exchange because who knows if they will get hacked or not, they could totally get hacked! So that is why caution is the most important thing in bitcoin world, be ready to do security more than you have ever done in your life, it really is a whole new level around here.
3208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: August 30, 2020, 10:10:52 AM
Dollar will always lose value, that is what fiat currencies do, that is why we have bitcoin. To start off with dollar has always lost value in the most important regular stuff, your gallon of milk may not lost too much and it could be worth just a bit more than what it was 10 years ago, but check how much Harvard takes for studying there 10 years ago, 20 years ago and 30 years ago and you will see the difference, take a look at TV's and you will not see huge difference, even though technology is mind bogglingly better it is maybe x2 than what it was 10 years ago, or computers, yet check healthcare and you will see how it went up x10 just in the past 10 years, a cancer treatment could take up as much as half a million dollars.

So long story short, people increase your salary based on computer and milk and so forth and they ignore the college fee and health, they cherry pick.
3209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 29, 2020, 08:43:12 AM
The first one will be 17k if you ask me. I am not saying it will happen right away but if you ask me "which one bitcoin will hit first, 9k or 17k?" I would answer that with 17k, I believe that bitcoin is still on a bullish run and the price would go up very soon as well, this 12k try is not over, we tried it once and went down, we will try again and will go above and stay there this time.

When we go above 12k and not go down that will be a big sign of bullish run and more people will come and when more people comes there will be a lot more going up as well since new people means more money going into bitcoin and more money going in bitcoin means higher price of bitcoin as well. I am not sure if it will be like that forever because eventually it will go back down but we will definitely hit 17k first.
3210  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin & altcoins? on: August 28, 2020, 06:48:25 PM
Honestly when you look at all the crypto world right now, you could understand why it is in an actually weird phase right now.

We are talking about a phase when bitcoin and all other altcoins went up down first then up again and down again now, all within a week, just go to coinmarketcap and you can check all the coins and their weekly situation, you will realize that crypto world is in a situation where it doesn't know what they are doing, I would prefer if it was possible for crypto to be a bit more stable but unfortunately we all know that is not really possible, it is quite volatile and we would probably end up with even more movements in the end. Let's hope that in the end we are higher than where we are between all the ups and downs that is going on.
3211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is FORSAGE a Ponzi scheme? on: August 28, 2020, 04:04:11 PM
I was surprised to see this topic on FORSAGE. I have been seeing a lot of people talk about this forsage where I live, and they are hyping it so much and saying that they are getting rich from it. I would always see them posting pictures of their Forsage account with so much money in it and all that, but I have never been interested in it and didn’t bother to ask about it, not to talk of checking their website because I have this feeling that soon it will end in tears.

Based on the way they usually explain, seems like once you join you have to invite others, and the more people you’re inviting, the more you’re going to be earning. It will be best for you to invest in Ethereum and just hold in your wallet till price goes up.
3212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP got 30 new WHALES!!! on: August 28, 2020, 03:31:28 PM
A ton of investors into XRP means that they should be buying a ton of XRP as well and making it go up, and I mean really up, a lot more than all other things in the market. I am checking XRP and it is historical prices and in the past 3 months there has been absolutely no increase in XRP that is above and beyond the market increases, there has been zero sudden changes, it has all been either down with the market or up with the market.

Even during up times, not like bitcoin and others on average went up 7% and XRP went up 50%+, there has been no case of that neither. People are just tricking you to believe that XRP is something that whales are interested in. Believe me no whale wants to be part of something that could crash any moment if the owners want to crash it.
3213  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Price Prediction & its impact on cryptocurrencies on: August 28, 2020, 02:44:05 PM
If a cryptocurrency (stablecoin) is backed by an asset such as gold, they will be moving accordingly. If you’re buying a stablecoin that claims to be backed by gold and precious metals, then you’re basically buying those assets, the tokens/coin you’re buying is like buying a share that gives you a possession that the company that owns the cryptocurrency is selling. That’s how it is, so they are going to be increasing in price when gold is going up.

I have seen a lot of cool gold-backed coins, and there was one I saw that is backed by several precious metals, and it’s really cool. I just have to take my time and look into them before investing.
3214  Economy / Economics / Re: We need to create a independent mobile device on: August 28, 2020, 02:11:37 PM
We need to create a independent mobile device

Here is one of the reasons why we need a mobile device that is not depending on app store or google play

https://www.theverge.com/2020/8/13/21366438/apple-fortnite-ios-app-store-violations-epic-payments
It sounds like a good idea, but it’s not. And by the way Google Android and IOS are very popular, I don’t know if there is going to be another OS that will be able to reach that standard, although I think Huawei might be making attempt towards since they were banned by the US to use the Android OS. They (Huawei) introduced their own OS that is called Oak OS, but I don’t know much about this because I no longer make use of Huawei, it’s been a long time I made use of an Huawei device, now I am making use of IOS, that’s what works for me.

I have not even seen anyone talking about the Oak, unless they will be able to penetrate the Asian market with that system, mostly people prefer Android and iOS, and nothing more. And as for having an open OS, people will be taking risk using such system and I don’t think I would.

3216  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: August 19, 2020, 04:09:23 PM
There is enough money to be made from champions league itself that you would not need to worry about any type of promotion and still make a ton of profit if you are right. Also I have moved to NBA, there is tons of games each day and so far there has been some weird results like Orlando beating Bucks and Blazers beating Lakers, they were 8th seed!

So, I think it is easy to say that there is a ton of gambling to be made from the NBA games as well, I know not everyone is a basketball fan but I do not like to watch football that much yet I still wager on them, so you do not even have to enjoy it to wager, you just need to do your research a bit but in the end the better team is usually more obvious one. I guess I will continue with that until finals and the regular season of football will be back soon.
3217  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: August 13, 2020, 07:32:24 PM
Unfortunately to the investors in the yolodice world there are people who are looking like they earn a ton, we had a big win just recently once again wiping out months of profit as well. Sometimes things just do not fall into their places. However remember we are talking about same could happen to other direction as well, some day some rich person could lose a ton at the same time.

Well,,, I think people being able to win big at a casino is always a good advertisement for the brand, and no more so than for a dice site where you can win big amounts of crypto and get paid with no KYC and no questions asked. The big wins feel bad at the time for investors because profit is wiped out as you say,,, but for the long run it is a great advertisement that will bring in even more bets. I am very happy with YD investment performance long term.
People also do not check out gamblers who lose a ton as well, after someone winning a ton, there was a person (or maybe same person) who lost a ton as well, which means the profits were back on track. You can actually keep track of people earning or losing and you can see that in 2 months some people made over 10% in profit, you could get out at that point and you would be in profit as well. However they are continuing to invest as well, so they are still there and still making profit, eventually it will be 20% and then 30%.

Obviously that requires patience and there will be times when their profits are lower and go down because someone won big, but that doesn't change the fact that in the long run they are profiting and will keep on doing so. Picking a great place like yolodice who also has a lot of wagerers is a dream for investors.
3218  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake 3 Out Now!!! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: August 13, 2020, 08:33:24 AM

This reminds me of a raffle by freebitco.in. Did anyone really won a lambo there? Or people are still trying their luck with that faucet, buying lottery tickets?

Why do everyone raffle lambos, and not porsche or ferrari? Smiley And why exactly these kind of models? Urus looks more practical, yes still expensive imho.

Yes, there was a winner there and he even held an AMA. But he opted for the 200 grand over the Lambo for obvious reasons.
Yeah the 200k instead of lambo is a clear choice and would be much better for the winner, sure if you are a driver fanatic and you want the car and you are not poor you could pick that and pay all the tax and wait for it to arrive and have it delivered for you, however that is just too many things back to back for you to be in order to accept the car.

However if there is a 200k offer instead like the other place which there should be, that would be picked over the car for sure, at least by the majority of the participants. If there is none and car is the only option I would still be happy about it, at the worst case I would get a loan for all the expenses and then sell the car right back to a place right away without even driving and pay the loan back and would end up with a bit of money, even if not too much I would still have a chunk to go on.

Spurs were going almost 3 for 3 last night, they hada  decent guy on embiid, I get that it is hard to guard a guy like embiid who can play post if he wants to, can shoot mid range, bank it in, can shoot threes and all of that at the same time so it is a hard person to guard however at the last second of the game you do not guard inside, if they get a tie they get a tie and that's it, but if you leave the outside open you are talking about losing the game like this.

If Murray was guarding his own man a bit more instead of trying to help out everywhere, Milton wouldn't be able to hit that last second shot and Spurs could have been a serious contender for that 8th spot right now. Anyway, at least Grizz lost to pelicans as well, now next games are Portland vs Rockets which I think rockets would win, and jazz vs grizzlies which jazz could win, but spurs have nuggets which will be very tough.
