69.1 BTC until now, thats mean 2,000,000 ICO coins / 691 shares = 2,894 coins per .1 btc invested Cost per coin until now 3455 sats
Wow, that is so much for a single coin. It's qubit algo after all, GPU's perform very well. I think mining cost will be a lot less. That's not how it works. A GPU could hash at 1 hash/s or 1gh/s it doesn't matter the reward is the same thanks to the difficulty. The number of miners/GPUs matter. If a lot of people try to mine it the cost of mining a single coin will be higher which should mean miners won't sell below that. Conversely, if only a few miners will try to mine it they will mine more coins individually so they can sell for lower price and still make a profit. But of course the price will be ultimately determined by how many people will decide to buy into the coin.

I got a notification about this thread, but only looking on the first page I can see for example the "MBC - MeatBallCoin" thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1033420.0) or the "[ANN] GorillaTeeth [TEETH]" thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1032348.0) which I never received notifications even though I should have. - I always get notifications about PMs. - I usually get emails from the altcoin announcements section. - I very rarely get emails from the altcoin discussion section. I tried other email providers and I tried a brand new gmail account a while back and it was the same.

Same. With multiple email providers I've tried. This has to be a bitcointalk issue.

If this coin doesnt hit the exchanges at something insane like 0.00100000 it's not worth mining. The yield in terms of hashrate to difficulty would require a price like I noted to see an ROI.
Throwing 1 btc at this by renting some major hashpower (2 gh) for a a half day is only going to yield you a few thousand coins at best-- at best.
Not sure but I don't think people are doing their math.
Strato
Usually a lot of people think like you do so they rent expecting the price will reflect the cost of production with average electricity prices. But that rarely happens because a lot of miners and renters dump for a slice of pizza worth of profit. And of course there are miners with cheap electricity. And there are the curious 3-4 GH/s X11 rentables...

works for me, already miners on board. Maybe try to use 8.8.8.8 as DNS ? yor link dead for me as well start menu > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns

sp since the difficulty factor -p d=0.02 was taken out, is there another way I can set difficulty in the bat file?
Thx
Passing difficulty parameters in the password string (-p) is a poolside feature.

This really needs some marketing or this will just slowly die. There are 60 masternodes working.

Yes, but as I have stated, be ready to move the coins as proof of ownership. Also, there is no time limit on the exchange. If you find a wallet with 10,000 coins in 5 years, they're still valid for an exchange.
I assume users will have to move the coins to a provided burning address to avoid trading the same coins multiple times, right? Also, if I were to I leave my current coins on bittrex, will they eventually convert them to MARYJ 2.0?

I never understood the big love and hype for cryptsy. Seems just another exchange to me.

Interesting, looks like the 2nd whale withdrew almost half of his coins. Estimated Mining Time: 2 weeks Approx.
is that accurate??
The real block time seems to be about 32 seconds instead of 120. PoW will end in about 35 hours. The spacing seems to be correct (120 seconds) so I guess the base difficulty should be 4 times of what it is now. unsigned int nTargetSpacing = 2 * 60; // 120 seconds unsigned int nRetarget = 30; unsigned int nStakeMinAge = 12 * 60 * 60; // 12 hours unsigned int nStakeMaxAge = -1; // unlimited unsigned int nModifierInterval = 10 * 60; // time to elapse before new modifier is computed static const int64_t nTargetTimespan_legacy = nTargetSpacing * nRetarget; // nTargetTimespan_legacy = 3600 static const int64_t nInterval = nTargetTimespan_legacy / nTargetSpacing; // nInterval = 30
static const int64_t nTargetTimespan = 16 * 60; // nTargetTimespan = 960

Hopefully this is not mandatory, right? The bittrex addition doesn't play nice with sandboxie (instacrashes) so I'm sticking with the previous wallet version. I'm perfectly fine trading through the website. Regarding the price, this has happened in the last 12 hours or so: A second whale accumulated almost 100k coins hence the low price. Once their accumulation is over this will get pumped. It might even happen before the PoW period ending (~37 hours). I think within a week the ATH could reach as high as 20k.

My wallet is acting up:
./craved masternode count 11
It's fully synced and the last blockhash is the same as on chainz but it shows incorrect masternode count.
Edit: restarting the daemon fixed it.
