Looks like the government wants to know the real volumes.

I would say that is something needed otherwise we will always have too much difference between what we see and analyze in the West and what happens there. If so, yes, let's look at the real volumes
3202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 07, 2017, 09:47:12 AM
Now is price of bitcoin is down to $839. I don't know why people panic due to what happened in China cos the samething happened back in the year 2012 and the Chinese government are doing this to save their currency
It is hard to believe that Chinese government thinks that Bitcoin can be real threat to yuan at this point. Bitcoin is not even used by 10 millions of people worldwide, not to mention Chinese citizens.
I don't know every time we have pump and later dump, people are seeking second bottom and hidden reason for price decline, while in reality it is market correction.

My idea is that mining is expensive: I think the miners took some good profit to keep their business runing. They need fiat money for everyday operations and to buy new equipment.  As you say this looks like a correction to me as well.
Nevertheless, the hangover is hard to handle.

shadows on the deal by Sino Europe Sports (Ses) for the purchase of Ac Milan.
The second deposit of 100 million come from an offshore fund based in the Virgin Islands.
Willy Shine International Holding Limited based in the Virgin Islands has paid on December 14, 102M.
To complete this endless negotiation takes about 300M to 200M over already paid by the first 2 deposits.
by 3 March should reach 300 million, but at this point I would not be surprised of other surprises.

Are you surprised? Football at that level is a shady business and we all know it. If we consider how long it took for Ac Milan to make the deal (don't forget mr. bee's try) there has to be something unclear. Just for the sake of truth can you please provide your source (i.e. link)?  Wink

I'm not surprised. I will be surprised if the deal will end in March 2017.
the site that reported this news: http://www.calcioefinanza.it/2017/01/04/da-dove-arrivano-i-soldi-dei-cinesi-del-milan/
At the bottom of the page there is a 33 page document which shows all the details of the second deposit.
Oh boy, that's the good old way. Nothing new. Thanks for the link: I used google translate to get an ideaof what it says. The document seems genuine as well. We only have to wait and see what it is going to happen to this deal.
3204  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: January 06, 2017, 10:20:34 AM
any free faucet to play?

Unfortunately not, we now require all users to deposit to play Sad

In the past we had a faucet, but unfortunately it attracted a lot of the wrong sort of people (abusers and professional beggars) so I removed it, which had the unfortunate side effect of making it annoying for new players to try the game (wait for a deposit). So in the near future (~1 month), I'll add a small faucet (with a limited amount of claims per ip address) to assist with trying the game

I think you could add a deposit bonus: it is not a faucet but you could attract more players. Who wants to try out your game will be pleased to have a bonus to rely on. Give it a thought  Wink

I don't know if you share my feelings guys but since the huge spike price I did not feel like gambling so much (in BTC I mean). Most of my funds are in cold storage and my hot wallet is almost empty so I don't have much to gamble these days.

3207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Change Your Bet Size With Significant Rises (Or Falls) In Bitcoin Price? on: January 05, 2017, 02:30:38 PM
A long time ago I lost 3 BTC when the price was 120$ a bitcoin. I was in my early days and I was not used to give much credit to BTC. Forget I would do the same bet today!
So to answer the question yes, price need to be adjusted: when I bet I think in terms of dollars, not bitcoin
3208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 05, 2017, 12:03:16 PM
I keep forgetting that I should set limit orders in times like this.  Would have loved to catch that spike on Finex but I was just taking a nap...  I guess events like these are why you tend to be glued to the screen 24/7 ...

I only see green and red these days: I totally understand you! I should add black since on bitcoin wisdom those are the colors: black for background, green/red for the candles.
Anyway I should have set some stops as well but I have everything in cold storage at the moment. No trading for me until I see for real what is going on.
3209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 05, 2017, 07:19:08 AM
Chelsea to win - 2.9
Real Madrid to win - 1.55

bet 0.05 to win 0.2

Not exactly a Premier League tip but this is my prediction for today. good luck.
Nice odds especially in Chelsea , but it's difficult to win in White Heart Lane ! in my opinion the best bet is to put over 2.5 in this game .
for Real madrid i'm with you to put real madrid to win

With Kante and Matic chosen to start, you'd expect a defensive approach from Conte. Not really sure about the over 2.5 goals.
now the score is 2-0 in 81' min , still one more goal !

Hazard needs to be on the ball more often, nothing creative happens for us otherwise

The defensive pressure Tottenham were giving Chelsea makes Hazard ineffective with the ball.  And even Kante for that matter.  Did you see the times Wanyama keep neutralizing him given the chance?  It's a master class performance by Pochettino, with the relentless pressure preventing Chelsea from playing their game despite their physical dynamism.  As someone mentioned, they did the same with Man City.
It was about time: we all knew they were going to either lose or draw this game. It's called statistics.
Good thing is that premier league is not over after yesterday night. It's going to be interesting to see MAN UTD coming back at it.
3210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: January 05, 2017, 07:16:50 AM
Start small and try to win small. Then build up on that and save your initial deposit: then you are free to play. If you lose it does not matter.
At least you try to build confidence and to understand what are your limits.
Wash, rinse, repeat and good luck!

When I am typing this is the US Dollar price comparison among these exchanges
Bitstamp 1117.93
BTC-e 1089.48
Bitfinex 1149.9
Okcoin 1169

Everybody can have his own price  Roll Eyes
3212  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: January 05, 2017, 07:08:58 AM
One thing some of you don't seem to get is that an investment is usally on the long term: very few will get rich very soon with short term investments, which are by definition mere speculation.

Hold onto your gold and BTC.

I would like to quote myself because I totally got the right timing last April. This is not a game anymore and nobody is gonna be rich quick.
Bitcoin is difficult to understand and sometimes hard to manage and handle but if you know it you won't regret having studying it!
3213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 04, 2017, 05:51:06 PM
This is crazy.  I feel like I should sell some coins and buy a house or something.

Just go and enjoy life bro, but careful this is not over yet.

By the way I wish to thank all of you who were here to fight against all the fudsters who came along when we were struggling around $350.

Go bitcoin go!

Feels good Inc.
3214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 04, 2017, 07:36:17 AM
In the last five games the only team that was able to keep the pace of Chelsea has been Manchester United. 5 win out of 5 games: although considering their false start MAN UTD is 10 points behind Chelsea. But I still believe MAN UTD could say its word over this Premier League

Seriously ? Top 4 is their best bet. They sure are having a good run off late but Title contenders ? no way. Even Mou would say no to that
Yes mate. Give them time: I didn't say they will run for the title but to judge them off would be unreasonable. Let's see how their recent positive chain of results will lead them. We wait and see

For the latest stats regarding your gambling investments the best resource is the following internet site
https://dicesites.com/
Before every investment always study everything that is available about a casino. And then invest the max amount you are also happy to lose.
It's not always a win.
3216  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-01-03] Bitcoin passes $1,000 but only number that matters is zero on: January 04, 2017, 07:16:28 AM
To use a metaphor I would comment the article this way.
Critics mostly talk about art, drama, literature but they hardly ever been artists in their life: therefore they have no word whatsoever about anything.
The same goes for the author of the article.
He clearly does not know anything about Bitcoin.
They have to talk about it because they simply can't ignore but they hate it and we all know it.
3217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 04, 2017, 07:10:31 AM
Let's keep this pace Bitcoin, I can live with this.
Everyone around me is asking me for Bitcoin since they know I've always talked about it. Not anymore. I'm telling everybody I own few mbits and that I cashed out long ago. Better they forget me sooner than later.

Go bitcoin.

Additional option for withdral fee was added. Players have now 3 options instead 2:
  • Default (free) withdrawal, where we cover transaction fees (we pay 0.00025 BTC per kB)

I imagine free withdrawal would likely be confirmed slower than normal and fast ones: how long does it take for a free withdrawal to be sent out?

EDIT: found my answer on your FAQ
Quote
For default (free) withdrawals, we pay 0.00025 BTC per kB for transactions fees, but if the respective coin's blockchain is under heavy load, the transaction can take up to several hours. In some instances, it can take days before the transaction gets confirmed.

I think that's totally fair and reasonable

Yes, price increase or not this this is, as I already said, one of the most well thought investments ever seen lately. If they could have continued with betking they could have reached much higher profits.
