3201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake Bitcoin. on: September 12, 2022, 07:20:10 PM
There have been so many copycats of bitcoin and we have loads of them on centralized exchanges, when you look at their logo, it has little resemblance to that of bitcoin but i think only newbies are prone to fall a victim on wrong intended coin, some has their name branded eith a blend of bitcoin in it, but for the experienced users, they will always know the difference and identify the fake ones, that's why we strongly recommend the use of bitcoin only supported hardware wallets for the storage of our coins than using compromising centralized exchanges loaded with plenty shittys.
3202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things to keep in mind before accumulation of Bitcoin on: September 12, 2022, 06:26:56 PM
I had discussed some of the wallets types before, you can go for hardware base crypto wallets for better security, and I only mentioned 3 hardware wallets there

I appreciate the effort put together in bringing this up, nevertheless you could have lay more emphasis on hardware wallet here as well aside the embedded link provided to your previous topic on that, also there is more need as well to add the type of coins each wallet support, but in conclusion, its all a beautiful display of efforts you've put out altogether to present this as part of your contribution to the forum.
3203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Limitations of Bitcointalk Members from Developing Countries on: September 12, 2022, 05:43:28 PM
Things here are not so extreme like in your country

count that a joy and privilege because many don't seem to enjoy the free access to those items in abundance.

but I share the same concern regards criminality. For that reason I avoid accessing smartphone in public places and keep it well protected in a safe pocket.

this is a good application way to exercise wisdom, it does much good to protect individual from assault or physical attack of any kind when in public.

never tell people you don't have a solid relationship about your cryptocurrency adoption and holdings

by this same way, many have rendered themselves open for an attack being unaware, there must be limitation to what mouth must tell especially when in public.

Another limitation is the difficult when acquiring new devices to replace the older ones which become obsolete and damaged, because we don't have much money to spare.

things might be hard atimes to be able to afford buying new items like the mobile phone we use, but it is better late than never, i will not advise selling your old devise to someone nor buy a second hand device either because lot of danger comes in through them, once you don't use them again, dismantle them into pieces and discard but dont sell them when they got malfunctioned.
3204  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: September 11, 2022, 05:57:37 PM
In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with gambling, it might be addictive too but the industry grew this much because people want to associate with something. You cannot be going to parties, or cinemas or watch football every day, some people do not even like some of the listed ones, gambling is their option. So, gambling will be surely ethical and healthy for the person that is not addicted to it but has it entertaining and keeps their company.

Fine and good gambling has it own side effects accepted, but let's also consider the good and beneficial aspect also that gambling had come in with to everyone, i think i will have to but mention few here, employment, steady income/profit, business/enterprise, online services, fun/pleasure, relief from stress or pressure, exciting moods, tactical thinking/reasoning, logical reasoning, confidence build up, risk taking, boldness and fearlessness, these are just some of the benefits we derive from gambling which we count as something common but they are all important benefits derived.
3205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin changed my life on: September 11, 2022, 05:45:37 PM
There's no way you will accept or adopt something new without you having an encounter with change, and that thing must also take some things which are really bad away from you, the benefits of bitcoin to human kind in general has been a thing that will forever remain relevance because it has come to give that change we all desired and there's no way you come an encounter with bitcoin without having an experience of something new especially with your financial and economic life, bitcoin helps you get positioned on a right track to posterity with it adoption, the government does not necessarily have to adopt bitcoin before we all csn benefit from using it since the entire network remain decentralized.
3206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Limitations of Bitcointalk Members from Developing Countries on: September 11, 2022, 05:38:19 PM
When we consider these challenging factors mentioned by OP then we could see how some are finding it difficult to make it up to an expected standard of living but despite it all, the lapses never show and they don't make their challenges be a barrier or an excuse to arriving on their goals and commitment to the forum and bitcoin as a matter of fact, while at the other end, i think those in the developed countries should also appreciate the opportunity before them and take every single of it all into effective utilization because some were not privilege with such and they should also make it felt in their contributions to he forum as well.
3207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Mobile Gambling Is Leaving People Ruined and Unable to Quit on: September 10, 2022, 08:03:11 PM
There are many things that attract gamblers and make them stay in casino sites nowadays. First are the promotions and bonuses as well as huge jackpot prizes that they want to win. We're now in the midst of the inflation crisis and the urge of some gamblers to win big amounts is higher than usual. The convenience that online gambling could provide also has a huge effect on gamblers' addiction. It will be hard for them to control their urge to gamble because temptations could only be found in their gadgets.
With the existence of online gambling sites there are positive as  well as negative part. According to me the usage of mobile phones have increased drastically and the gambling market doesn't want to lag behind. For this reason Gambling access through Mobile have made been made easier. Control is with the user, because without the person's support one can't get him out of addiction.

Of course many gamblers found it a comfort to them having mobile phones to easily gamble with and not until they went so far to a particular casino location point before they can gamble, also the casino developers see it as a need to make gambling readily available for gamblers at all time in other for them to attract more subscribers to thier online casino without minding the cost because they understand they will make their interest out of it from the gamblers, so here the two sides benefits from the introduction of mobile gambling.
3208  Economy / Economics / Re: Which city deserves to be the blockchain capital? on: September 09, 2022, 08:09:01 PM
the list of cities hosting the most events in 2022-2023 is topped off by:

  • London - 26 events;
  • New York - 25 events;
  • Rome - 20 events;
  • Dubai - 16 events;
  • San Francisco - 13 events;
  • Miami - 13 events;
  • Singapore - 10 events.

If we are to actually go by this i don't know how accurate we can be because some other countries may take the need sonner than the ones presented here since adoption continues and we've fot a large number of countries already giving it a green indication for the adoption of cryptocurrency in general, another thing to consider here is that, should hosting an event be the major criteria for giving this title? maybe there could be more things to consider than that.
3209  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Our children should be our first priority on: September 09, 2022, 08:00:31 PM
Just as the sword is strong in the hand of the giant, so are the children to their parents, and also parents must not left their responsibility undone o er the children, we've got a lot of families that have more than three children and they were all well taken care of, while another with just a child and still enjoy parental care, number is not a barrier or excuss, parents must exercise their best of abilities on their children just as it was treated good on them, at the end of it all, they will have part of responsibilities attached to the child upbringings owed on them if they fail to do so.
3210  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Death of Queen Elizabeth II: Bitter Sweet News for King Charles III on: September 09, 2022, 07:52:47 PM
No matter the magnitude of fortune that awaits us after the death of our parents, we can't still wish them death while been alive, and i child will never be a head over his parents except after their departure, I don't know the then prince Charles age presently but his age will never be above the required age expected for a king, i remember watching the live stream of his wedding few years ago and discover how he keep looking yonger even amidst the entourage at the event, such is life, the Queen's death is just a fulfilment of destiny come through.
3211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Mobile Gambling Is Leaving People Ruined and Unable to Quit on: September 08, 2022, 07:39:26 PM
The intent for having mobile version for online gambling is for good and not to ruine lives but it's the gamblers that take that as a yardstick to manifest various wrongs in it, just as there have been abuse on every settings where man is involved, mobile version should be an easily accessible medium through which one can have access to gamble regardless of location at our conveniences and I think this should be encouraged rather than being discouraged.
3212  Other / Meta / Re: joker_josue Merit Source Application - to encourage the Portuguese community on: September 08, 2022, 01:05:08 PM

I'm very impressed with the post quantity this week keep it up guys and don't forget to visit Betplay's ANN thread; ⚡️⚡️Betplay.io - Lightning Network Casino - INSTANT & ZERO FEE Payments ⚡️⚡️ to engage in discussion over there.
Guys don't forget to visit Betplay to try out the casinos then drop your review on the ANN thread; ⚡️⚡️Betplay.io - Lightning Network Casino - INSTANT & ZERO FEE Payments ⚡️⚡️ also don't forget to engage in regular discussion over there.

Can this be considered as "Paid Bumps"?

Paid Bump is not allowed by the forum policy. It may result to permanently ban all users engaged including the campaign manager responsible.

I see this as something not worth giving much concentration on because if you give it a closer look yourself OP, you will discover that participants were not paid for that, instead they were strictly paid on their signature campaign enrollment and the manager does not specifically stated it that if you don't post on their ANN thread you won't get paid, the whole situation here is clear enough to justifies itself as purely inline with the rules, no one is above a mistake but i think the manager is also experienced enough in this field as well.
3214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the price of Bitcoin continued to fall during the halving? on: September 07, 2022, 09:59:31 PM
In such an event, I believe the price of Bitcoin would plummet. What if it fell so low during the halving that miners couldn't recoup their costs? During a world war, I'm sure a lot of assets would be destroyed. But is BTC particularly vulnerable?

First of all, we are not going to experience anything called WW again, and one thing that you need to understand during halving event is that the price remain very volatile then, it rises and as well fall drastically before or after halving, but the end result of it all is that it finally surge high and make a new all time high for bitcoin price, if we must be a good bitcoiner or cryptopreneurs, we must learn to think positive and have good thoughts for better days.
3215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spreading Bitcoin and its basic concept on: September 07, 2022, 09:38:13 PM
Three weeks ago I got employed as a Civil servant,in my place of work I went round from department to department,offices to offices asking my colleagues if they have heard or learnt about Bitcoin.
Be careful bruh, you could surely get into trouble with your employers if you come off as being a disturbance to your new colleagues in your workplace, personally i will not talk about bitcoin in my work place, unless someone shows interest in the network, then if i can be of help to them in any little way i can, then i will, but to be employed just three weeks ago and you are in everyone's office talking about bitcoin; that may not be the correct way to go.

Needless to say that as you try to teach people about bitcoin, you should also protect yourself and your privacy, you can be attacked by someone who feels you have money because you talked about bitcoin, you don't know most of your new workers, neither do you know their past record, i will prefer to play safe if i were you. It goes without saying that i am not against spreading the word about bitcoin, but it should be done decently and in a way that would not put the preacher into trouble.

You're right with your advice mate, there must be a proper and thorough look on weather the atmosphere there in the workplace can permit such or not, or maybe something like you grt some of your close colleagues one on one to discuss bitcoin with them outside the work settings because if the idea of discussing bitcoin at work place got escalated to your boss, it may place your chances with the job on jeopardy, which means in everything you must do, always think about playing safe.
3216  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto jobs make government jobs irrelevant in the near future? on: September 06, 2022, 09:56:13 PM
With all this in place and more opportunities yet to be unveiled as the space keeps expanding will government jobs still have much relevance in the society?

It will remain relevance but the rush on it could have reduce since there have been enough provisioned for alternative in cryptocurrency which is more secured and private than the centralized ones, government need to understand that people are much concerned because they have no choice other than to go for the available ones with them, but ever since the introduction of cryptocurrency and bitcoin booming allover the world and it adoption increasing among youth providing them with divers opportunities, it is no doubts that the role of government jobs and opportunity hunts woth them has no alternative than to decrease drastically with the influence of cryptocurrency.
3217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing Bitcoin private keys using dental implants? on: September 06, 2022, 09:45:45 PM
I think more carefulness must be ensured when it comes to safeguarding our private keys or seed phrase as the case maybe, if care is not taken then we will begin to loose the privacy while at the aim of securing it, anything service that you will need the inpact of a third party in handling your keys then is not safe, any other thing can be stored while using this method but not your keys, also what are the proffs that this method will not impose toxic on human health or tooth over a long time, remember mouth is always wet with all manner of food we eat daily, is there any guarantee that there wont be reactions from the mouth towards the embedded keys on the tooth over time to wash way, fade or break.
3218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi, the common on: September 06, 2022, 09:28:07 PM
So, out of all stories around, the one I found more plausible was of a British-Indian guy who came out at a newspaper a few years ago explaining he was Satoshi, what happened to his coins in a hardware failure and showing a picture of the computer used to create the first Bitcoin ever. His story was promptly discarded or overlooked and somehow I'm unable to find it again, as the noise caused by the imbecile CW just pops up at all results

There have been several occasions of people making noise around in saying they are Satoshi bit the real thing hear is that Satoshi cannot come out definitely we all know that, to make such and brag about himself to everyone, i think the empty vessel makes the loudest noise here and Craig is the ring leader among them all, but with time all will soon die down because no one from onset supported Craig

but would be interesting to look into it again and probably give credit to the right person, even if the keys for his "magnificent fortune" are gone forever.

Have you discussed that together with Satoshi and he gave that utterance? Or am i the one nit getting what you mean here, i hope you're not constituting to another claim on Satoshi by framing this up.
3219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some say Bitcoin is dead but Bitcoin is not dead on: September 06, 2022, 09:13:55 PM
We can't say that bitcoin is dead, but bitcoin has seriously lost power. Currently, the total crypto volume has dropped below a trillion dollars. This is a serious situation. I don't think we will see a bull market for at least another year.

That's not the real situation, consult the past records on the bitcoin price and check how volatile it has always been before now, if it does not get dip how will someone like you gain access to set in and invest, there's no manipulations in bitcoin price by any means, all you need is to understand the right timing for it because that's the mode of it operations, it volatile in nature and demand and supply are part of it rudiments
3220  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: September 05, 2022, 06:25:51 PM
Inflation in my country per month continues to increase by an average of about 0.4% per month based on information from the State Statistics Department.

Which country is that? It will do well if you can add the link to the statistics for reference purpose, i believe many countries were also found wanting inbthis aspect as well while some are just devicing means out of the inflation through their economy.

But what residents feel is more than that number. the price of food continues to rise, the price of transportation increases, so do the daily necessities

The ugly part of it all is that whenever there is inflation and prices go up, they find it difficult to control in bringing it down as before, deflation is what is found as uncommon to many developing countries whereby their government are yet to build a resistive measures in the control of inflation whenever it was first sighted.

But maybe my country isn't badly affected by inflation. because the increase is still affordable by the community. so that no particular group has voiced demonstrations. but if this inflation continues. then maybe there will be protests.

The question here is what measure can we use in identifying the country with the highest inflation from others because everyone seems to be affected this time around, but the rate is what makes the difference.
