3201  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm dying while waiting bank transfer... on: November 12, 2015, 06:53:34 AM

F***** bank! And them time to do silly operation!!!!

I`m sorry for your inconvenience, but some people have to learn the hard way why bitcoin is superior to bank transfer.

Sometimes I`m getting angry when I have to wait 30 min for bitcoin transaction, silly me Cheesy
3202  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 06:46:34 AM
The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.

The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.

I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.

Yep, the halving is close, and price could jump to 5000$ easily if we put some effort in it.

It's not hard to imagine a 30-40 billion market cap crypto industry. We just need to breakthrough on the wallstreet and bank investors to join us.

And the many more mainstream people too!
3203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: November 12, 2015, 06:44:10 AM
I like CLAM because of it's usuability.

I think it's more useaable than LTC or DOGE and it has a better marketing model. I could see it in the top 10 one day.
3204  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: November 12, 2015, 06:39:39 AM
I think the bottom is 300$, or around that. So i think if people buy at these levels its less likely that they will lose.
3205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: November 12, 2015, 06:30:27 AM
Yes stop trolling please and let's concentrate on NXT.

I put the NXT tree as my twitter front post:
https://twitter.com/RealBitcoinBlog/status/660243941091078144

Time to show the world the NXT tree and upcoming roadmap, it is exciting!
3206  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-11] CCN: Researcher Has Bitcoin Stolen off His Back in a Public Experim on: November 12, 2015, 05:30:17 AM
Lol for a moment I thought he had his private key on the back of his t-shirt Cheesy

It would be a more interesting experiment to put a private key QR code on the back of your shirt and walk in the city with a stop-watch and see how fast it gets stolen. I hope somebody does that experiment with a few satoshis Cheesy
3207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ● Why Bitcoin is Not Mainstream Yet & my Suggestions! ● on: November 12, 2015, 05:24:12 AM

I just noticed your stupid fucking avatar.  People who think NXT is interesting are the highest form of morons.  NXT is very stupid.  You are a sucker because you don't understand technology - and run around telling everyone you are an intellectual.

One way you can tell a true intellectual - they never point out that they are an intellectual.  Get it moron?

You will get banned. You broke now 3 forum rules:
  • Insulted me 3 times
  • Posted in my thread after I told you 2 times to leave
  • Trolling and mocking me
3208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ● Why Bitcoin is Not Mainstream Yet & my Suggestions! ● on: November 12, 2015, 05:21:17 AM

No!  Please!, tell me you didn't!  You reported me?  Oh shit.  This is terrible.  Why did you do that?!  What is wrong with you?

Listen - let me say it just one last time: you are not an intellectual.  You are a moron.  You don't know what you are talking about.  Bitcoin has way too many dumb people.  You are fucking up the whole thing.  Just shut up and try to learn something.  Stop talking.  This will help bitcoin more than anything.  We have to get the dumb people to leave the community.  Then, maybe the price of bitcoin will go up.  As long as you are here - probably gonna stay below $300.

Get the fuck out of here troll.
3209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: November 12, 2015, 05:16:38 AM
Look at the usage rate, it's always increasing, we don't really need advertisement.

https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactions

Of course you get the ups and down peaks but you can clearly see the mean says UP. Once it clicks in within the mainstream it will start growing faster.

It drops, which is the issue. From here, we only want it to rise. Never drop.

Not really, lower money velocity = higher price

But

Lower money velocity = lower demand for it.

Sot its kinda mixed, depends if the traders actually trade it between eachother for goods and services or just dump them for altcoins or fiat.
3210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ● Why Bitcoin is Not Mainstream Yet & my Suggestions! ● on: November 12, 2015, 05:11:23 AM
Of course it needs help, without those steps being fulfilled bitcoin will remain forever at the 200-300$ price range.
Completely wrong.  If Bitcoin provides an operational advantage, the value will go through the roof.  Those 'steps' you describe are just plain stupid.  You are probably stupid as well.

There, you have your argument first and insult later.  Better for you?

Ok you are reported. You do not belong to this thread, you are just insulting and making fun of an intellectual debate here, bye.

Regarding your argument: No, the value wont go through the roof as we have to wait a 500 year untill the inert sheep masses find out about it. Why not accelerate that and do it in 5 years.

Marketing just accelerates growth. Natural growth of bitcoin in a demonized hostile enviroment is ultra slow.
3211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ● Why Bitcoin is Not Mainstream Yet & my Suggestions! ● on: November 12, 2015, 05:05:22 AM

Clearly you are a bitcoin MORON, not a bitcoin intellectual.

If you build a better mousetrap, people will beat a path to it.  Bitcoin doesn't need marketing.  Public Opinion means nothing.  The minute bitcoin has an advantage for use, it doesn't matter how bad its reputation, people will use it anyway.

You are a million miles from 'intellectual' status.  Keep trying.

INSULT FIRST ARGUMENTS LATER EH?

Is that the new debating style on the forum? Bitcoin suposed to be full of open minded people, but seems like sometimes closed minded people like you are here too.

Of course it needs help, without those steps being fulfilled bitcoin will remain forever at the 200-300$ price range.

Do you think bitcoin has any chance of competing without highlighting it's features? It will just magically adopt itself or what?

People need to adopt it, and so far less than 1% of people use it, we have to convince the other 99% to join.
3212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: November 12, 2015, 04:53:40 AM
He should have bought bitcoin, not a miner.

Yes an equipment investment is bad if you get outpaced. I bought my old PC for 300$, and now its worth like 50$ , so what?

You bought it in order to get rich from it, well bad luck.

idk, every miner I bought, I re-sold for almost as much as I paid for it...crazy eh?  like, I bought off alibaba the usb block erupters (long time ago) when everyone said dont buy em, its useless, etc.  sure they didnt mine a lot, but i learned a lot and it was fun (gpu mining too with alts).  sold them 1 1/2 years later or so and...well....about the same price or more.  If you buy mining at decent price, and re-sell before its obsolete, it should be okay.

edit:  get rich, you are correct.  no riches, just a little profit.  I heat my garage.  in winter.  its fucking cold here.  win-win

Yep bitcoin mining is a very innovative industry, and because so fast so new mining equip comes out, you see a big deflation in prices.

Better plan carefully when buying some because it can halve in price quickly, and if you cant ROI from mining, then you lose your money fast.
3213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: November 12, 2015, 04:48:27 AM

It's not like ETH has a gui wallet at all am I correct?

So stop demonizing NXT, they are working very hard on it, and unexpeted errors always can come. It's still beta.

However ETH is alpha and no gui wallet bro.

Good thread. Unless I missed it I don't think you covered investing in loans in investment section. Or you can put it under gambling if you feel it carries the same risk. HAHA! Really good thread though for the newbie section. Now maybe we can see a post in this section beside what's the best way to make bitcoin and make it a useful newbie section.

I wanted to put that in services sector, but then i see that it has a different risk level so  i made a new category for it. Thanks for reminding me i almost forgot it.

Great Thread. Hope that every newbie will come here and read your thread. But I suggest you to remove the Gambling method, because gambling is not the way to earn (and I think that a great quantity of people think the same).

It is, a highly risky one, but nontheless its possible to win a jackpot, and many people won already.
3215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best investment? on: November 11, 2015, 09:39:59 PM
Currently bitcoin is the king and i doubt any other altcoin can get near it on the next years,if bitcoin dies all altcoins will die almost on the same moment, soo invest btc into another coin can be profitable but not the best option.

Not all of them, most of them start to get independent from it by creating their own exchange systems and their own independent valuation.

Bitcoin might be the gateway to the crypto world, but NXT has also a gateway of FIAT <> CRYPTO.

Heh.  I expected this to be a shitty post but its actually pretty accurate.

I had to do it, so many spam threads, newbies opening up 100s of threads to ask the same question ,which will then be flooded with spammers repeating the same shit.

Here you can find all obvious methods (although there are some secret ones if you dig deeper).

Interesting tutorial. For sure it will be very helpful to many new users. Did you think about some examples for your short descriptions?

I will work on it tomorrow to be more eye friendly, for this this will do it.
3217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: November 11, 2015, 08:32:56 PM
Why is nxt price completely in the toilet atm and particular reason for that?

Not a specific reason, a whale dumped a bit before the whole BTC pump. Then people exited most altcoin to enter the BTC hype.

It's back to 2k sat and I don't see a big resistance until 4k sat.

Usually the price fluctuate between 3k and 6k sat.

Just my thoughts, luckily i have both NXT and BTC, so I`m hedged, so I dont really care about price fluctuation

Overall both currencies are going up over time, and thats a good strategy i have.
3218  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: November 11, 2015, 07:03:13 PM
The U.S. military is still struggling with staging first class trannie fashion shows and until full transgender equality has been established in the ranks and women made into navy seals (priorities #1 and 2) there will be no major war.

Really hard to bring equality into a fundamentally hierarchical organization isnt it?

Next time they say that the soldiers are discriminated by the generals and impose equality laws between generals and soldiers. That will ruin the whole point of a hierarchical organization isnt it?

But socialists...
3219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best investment? on: November 11, 2015, 06:59:24 PM

That could work in our country. Some wants the nearest to stay rather than always going to school where you might be late always due to heavy traffic. You can do some house rules, a curfew might work and no visitors besides family. It can work if it will taken seriously.

Sure that could work, but here there are too many free stuff, and many investment opportunities are ruined because of it.

I`m not saying it is evil, but it definitely distorts the economy.
