does OP have a record? is that why you are wary of this? i don't think a cop will bring a k9 with him when pulling him over, much less ask to check his car. even if he did, OP could refuse it.. unless he has a record.

He already said he doesn't do anything illegal. He just gets paid in cash for his work. Which means he can't prove how he got the cash nor does he pay taxes on the cash he made. At least thats what I take from this thread.

cod comes out once every year doesn't it? i haven't played it since cod4.. don't think it's worth having to buy a new game every year.

Every year or 2. I'm starting to wonder how this effects the pro CoD leagues like major league gaming.

My advice is take the time to wash your cash. People seem to forget or just don't know that cocaine is on the money. With a large sum of cash, the smell of cocaine can be picked up by police dogs. Just wash your cash, put it in a bag with dirty clothes and nobody will ever know.

Will that actually work though? I'm not sure you can easily get rid of all drug traces just by washing money.

You could always wrap it up like drug dealers do cocaine after you wash the money. Or you could place the cash in something air tight.

Cool, I am not much of a shooting game fan but I like Call of Duty. I only played Modern 3 and Black Ops 2. The story line of Advanced Warfare seems pretty interesting to me. I will most likely be getting this one. Grin

My BitFury USB ASICs are unplugged, and I plan to sell them.

Why not mine with them until they have sold?

Guys, you should grow up. If you don't like this system, go live somewhere else.
...

Not everyone has the option to "go live somewhere else".
What are those people supposed to do if they don't like to pay for corrupt BS?

They're supposed to get educated about the issues at hand, vote, write to their congress members, etc etc.

Honestly one of the biggest issues is people don't care or don't really know about the issues that they claim to be pissed off about. I love when they do surveys and find that for example 30% of people support one side, 25% support the opposite, and the rest don't know don't care or don't have any better idea.

You forgot to factor in the people that realize both sides are corrupt. Vote, write to congress members, you can't be serious right?
3210  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I didn't pay capital gains tax on bitcoin sales to IRS today on: April 16, 2014, 02:57:14 PM
Taxes are merely extortion by definition.

+1 This...

+1.

Of course, it depends on who is doing the defining...

The USD is back by the taxes we all pay. So we "Americans" are just property (slaves) of the USA.
3211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using Bitcoin to Eliminate Profits on: April 16, 2014, 02:17:27 PM
I was just about to add that in. Im sure any country would want to comply with the US if they asked to extradite you.

Sure, but it's like with anything else - why would they be looking for you? You filed your documents, paid your bill, explained your losses...

Well, if you reported some massive loss in terms of bitcoin, especially across multiple years, they might just have the intelligence to note the address the coins were stored in and check up on it in the future, and when they find that there have been outbound transactions from that address since you "lost" the private key...

There's a way around that. Report them stolen, write it off on the taxes as a lost. Sometime in the future or right now it doesn't matter just send the coins to a new address but use a coin mix site. No way to find out where they went. As far as getting fiat for them, I don't recommend using bank transfers after pulling this off. One is better off exchanging for cash using localbitcoin or some other site.
3212  Economy / Speculation / Re: $600 by end of today? on: April 15, 2014, 12:32:56 PM
I'm suprised the btc bulls don't put together a fund to pump bitcoin and use it to fire off a 6K BTC market order on stamp to raise the price to $640. Or a 15K BTC buy to spike it past $1K.

If a group did that it would fall back down because people would sell off at $1k.

sorry if this is off topic but are ghs on cex worth investing in?

Lately with the price drop it's been harsh, but that's been the same for the whole bitcoin economy. It's pretty much the same as investing in btc now and hoping prices will jump up again, same thing goes for ghs. Right now they are offering 0.01btc/ghs which seems pretty low.
Meaning when btc (hopefully) rises back up the price on ghs will increase?

Yes, according to the difficulty it has at the time being.

Right now I'm doing so that every btc I get from scryptmining I buy ghs with it and whatever btc I'm getting from ghs mining I save and wait for the next difficulty increase (which means ghs/price goes down usually at the same time) and rebuy more ghs when that happens. Smiley

Smart strategy man. I love the way you think.

Thanks, you're welcome to use it. Wink

You welcome, whens the next difficulty increase?

3219  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am new to mining and I just started with cloud hashing , any good idea ? on: April 10, 2014, 12:24:24 PM
By using the website how its advertised. Day trade!

Daytrading an asset that decreases in value faster than it pays out dividends is just silly. It has negative expectation value and in that sense it is just like gambling. Sure, you may hit a lucky streak, but keep playing long enough and the house always wins.

Sounds like you don't know how to day trade. Personally, I have lost and gained a bit. My best example would be turning 0.02btc into 0.20btc day trading at cex. So please do tell me how its a gambling again. I'm listening Roll Eyes

1) Get a different job.
2) If you still feel the same way then it was the drinking all along.
