3201  Economy / Economics / Re: A Secret to financial breakthrough on: August 22, 2022, 07:32:50 AM
Some people blame their parent for being poor🥲
Some blame their bad and corrupt leaders🥲🥲
Some blame their country and the country's economy😢😢😢

👉🏾Never blame anyone or anything for being poor.
👉🏾Our parent may be poor, the economy may be bad and our leaders may be corrupt, these are factors that may not  be easily changed.
👉🏾Let's leave these factors and work on factors that can easily be changed, which is OURSELF

There is nothing wrong with the blaming of government officials in your country if they are corrupt. They will just continue with their wrongdoings if citizens don't blame them and not demand for change.

Our power to be rich lies in our hands✋🏿✋🏿✋🏿. Let's wake up, get right information, invest in visible and reliable projects, make money and still make more money.....

Not everyone are presented the opportunity to change their lives. There are people who just earn enough for their responsibilities. Even if they want to escape from their current status, their financial capability is always the biggest hindrance for them to explore other things in life.
3202  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 22, 2022, 06:27:39 AM
As a result of the difficult economic times, do you consider that there will be more women entrepreneurs competing with men in this field which it so looks like they currently dominate?

I kind of hate this sexist topics where one gender dominates the other in a particular field. Are these surveys important to know which gender are dominating. It just degrades the confidence of the inferior gender to try diving in that field. Both genders have the same capacity to learn anything about entrepreneurship. Any gender can be successful in any field of business, it all comes down how they properly plan and execute it.
3203  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here from Germany? What exactly are your electricity costs? on: August 22, 2022, 05:11:05 AM
I searched on google what is the source of Germany's electricity and found out that they mainly use coal similar to our country. Here in ours, electricity costs have also gone more than double compared from previous years that the electricity bill of a regular household is 25% of a minimum-wage earner salary. I think the conflict between Ukraine and Russia has something to do with this issue because Russia is one of the largest coal producer in the world.

Hello all! I want to know where I can sell a tfc token later, which will be gained from the rakeback? directly on the site or do I need to go to an exchange?

You mean TFS token? If so, you can sell it here https://pancakeswap.finance/info/token/0xf4bea2c219eb95c6745983b68185c7340c319d9e. You might need a non-custodial wallet first like metamask or trustwallet to be able to use that platform.

Make sure you are using bsc network on that wallet. If you don't know how to do it yet, then you can check this link https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/connecting-metamask-to-binance-smart-chain.

After all those are done, withdraw the TFS token on Fairspin website to your chosen non-custodial wallet, wait for few minutes until its received then connect your wallet to the link I mentioned to sell it.

But its really amazing that some people can afford to bet a huge amount even without assurance to win. Imagine the value of whale's bet for average gambler can be considered a jackpot already. Oh well, they're lucky to live as well-off and gambling is a kind of entertainment for them to kill time.
Gambling was never meant to make money in the first place so there is nothing wrong to those whale gamblers that spend huge amount of money like it's nothing because it won't hurt them financially even if they lose it.

You should not be jealous to them and don't treat gambling as a way to increase your income or else you will just end up ruining your life.
I think not at all times, some whales are likely in it as well. It's like expanding your portfolio, we may think they are just in it for the leisure but we may never know considering how huge the industry is now, and the competition to get more crypto these days is getting crazy. It's getting fast and fast, was likely they're into a FOMO state too.

Whale gamblers are also into profit but losing money in gambling is nothing to them compared to other gamblers who spend too much of their money in gambling that it turns into addiction because they think it can make them rich. Those whales don't worry how much they lose but to a small-time gambler, there are some that tend to chase their losses when gambling that causes them more loss. People that can gamble comfortably without worrying the money didn't become rich because of gambling.
3206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you own 1 Bitcoin? (2022 edition) on: August 21, 2022, 01:29:08 PM
I live in a 3rd world country so having 1 whole bitcoin is difficult to achieve. You are already considered a millionaire if you convert the value of 1 bitcoin to our fiat. Even if I accumulate it little by little to achieve that amount, I can't avoid spending it when there are emergencies. Though I'm still optimistic that I will have 1 bitcoin someday before it reaches 6-digits price when the altcoins that I am accumulating give me profit more than 5x.
3207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc crime on: August 21, 2022, 12:35:19 PM
But what does OP mean by blaming the crypto for this, I believe it was not right. This argument gives an idea to the people to also think evil things like this knowing that it was easy for them to hide from the authorities.

News agencies also make it worse when they highlight these type of news making people think that bitcoin is only used by criminals. These criminals that involves bitcoin on their illegal activities are not completely anonymous because they will still convert it to fiat in order to spend it, if they do that then authorities can track and capture them. People are not aware that money laundering can be done using many mediums not just money. There are some criminals that use painting exhibits or anything that is expensive to execute those activities.

3209  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: August 21, 2022, 10:54:03 AM
There are not a lot of gambling options without KYC unless you want to take risks with new gambling sites which may turn out to be an altogether scam.

AMLC become more strict now about KYC regulation unlike back in the days that only huge withdrawals are required to comply to it.

If a new gambling platform attracts a user by some huge bonuses and claims to not require KYC then it is definitely a scam. You won't be able to withdraw your money there if you manage to win some. They will just freeze or disable your account without any reason.

But then the team needs to get the right exchange for the token if not they should remain with the present exchange instead of getting exposed to the wrong market and exchange team.

I hope they get it listed on a reputable exchange that we have now like kucoin or binance. There are some people like me that prefer only buying tokens or crypto on those exchanges because being listed on those means they are a good project and not a shitcoin. Low volume exchanges usually has many shitcoins on their platform and it would not be a good image for OWL token if they plan to get listed there.
3211  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitdice delaying everything they can to kyc and withdraw on: August 21, 2022, 05:42:34 AM
If the casino has no funds anymore to settle the winnings then why they continue to operate? Honestly op's winnings are not that much compared to other winnings that we know. But as we can see, in such amount they already have problem paying the player, although its good that they are trying to resolve the issue.

I don't believe that they have not enough funds to pay the OP. I'm pretty sure they still have active users depositing on their platform so there is money going in and not all of them definitely are winning at the same time. It's certain that it's just delaying tactics, how do they process those KYC documents that it takes them many days to complete it. They just showed that their platform can't trusted that it's very hassle to withdraw a 3 digit winnings.
3212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you use Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2022, 04:09:52 AM
I use bitcoin maybe atleast 5x a month. There is a payment merchant here in our country where you can use bitcoin to top-up credits on your phone. I spend my bitcoin to buy credits when I need some mobile data when I'm outside our home. I also use it sometimes to pay our electricity bill if the usual digital wallet I use is not available. I avoid spending too much of my bitcoin as I treat it as my savings for emergencies. I also feel it's a waste spending it when I see the price is increasing over the years.
3213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I have bought Bitcoin ? on: August 21, 2022, 02:53:21 AM
I also think 5000 is a lot of money for a monk to spend in just six months. In many countries that amount is a lot of money for some people even in a year. It must be some monk who likes to do sinful things, otherwise I don't quite understand how it was possible to spend that money somewhere in a monastery. To me this thread reeks of a scam.

There is really something wrong within OP's story. He said on his first paragraph he doesn't have source of income then suddenly on the last line of his statement he said he has a charity. How could he have a charity if he just depended on someone's donation to survive for 6 months.

Also, I'm curious what country he is living that he is able to spend $5000 worth of bitcoin to pay bills and buy neccessities. Even if he converts it to fiat, that amount is large to not be noticed by authorities or bitcoin institution in their country.

The truth is actually I am living on Bitcoin for the last six month on Bitcoin. Some one donated some Bitcoin to me and as I have no income because I am a Monk, so I have spent about $5000 dollars worth of Bitcoin to buy foods and pay for the bills.

I run a Charity. I am a Monk. I need some help from the Bitcoin community.
3214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of psychological tricks that casinos use. on: August 20, 2022, 07:38:42 AM
A land-based casino has a different atmosphere that is very different from all the places that you visited to get entertained all of these is to make you feel at home, they offer free drinks, food, and entertainment so you forget the outside world I read in one article that some gamblers can stay in casinos for weeks or even months because they have a hotel nearby, that is why many casinos are located inside the hotels, they both make profit from the presence of gamblers, of course on an online casino you can play whenever you want to play you don't have to dress up or the need to drive if you have the urge you are one click away, and that's already a big temptation.
Casinos are a business so we cannot really blame them when they try to obtain as many profits a possible, one very basic trick they have on their design, especially those big casinos at Las Vegas, is that you cannot go to your hotel room without going through the casino, this is done to tempt you, that way unless you are completely determined to not gamble that day something could catch your eye and you may decide to gamble out of impulse, then casinos can use their many other tactics to keep you gambling and spending more money than what you had in mind.

This is how some of the casino work in our country too. They even give you some free bet vouchers to try their casino games when you check-in on their hotel. You will definitely be tempted to gamble because of those free bets they gave you especially if you managed to win some amounts.

Food is also the one that some of the hotel casino usually do to attract people to gamble. There are some people that gambles on those casinos for the snacks that they're offering.
3215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Influence of "Paid" Streamers on Online gambling..... on: August 20, 2022, 06:37:20 AM
How does the "Paid" Streamers ..influence other gamblers experience?

Just to make something clear .... not all Streamers of gambling content are "Paid" streamers or affiliates of casinos

Even if they are not sponsored by the casino, viewers and other gamblers are highly influenced to gamble on that particular website that a streamer is using when he shares his winning from it on social media. We know that social media has become a huge factor that affects our pleasures in life. Even in other stuffs not just gambling, we are easily swayed to try the product or platform when a popular personality is using it.
3216  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: August 20, 2022, 02:32:17 AM
In my opinion, there are two side of "sportsbooks are vpn friendly" coin. They are friendly until you bring money and gamble. But as soon as you win big amount, they will instantly becomes unfriendly and will poke user with ToS, and wag a finger saying player violated something. I would say that being vpn friendly are casinos insurance from loosing big amounts. Some might disagree with me. But I will ask a proof then, where VPN user won a lot and casinos let him withdraw it.

Casinos have to protect their own interests as well. Lots of people tend to view them in a negative light but if they were to process all large winnings without screening them, they might give way to more fraud if they're not careful.

One of the reasons why they didn't make the VPN supported is because of this kind of thing once the user makes a login into a different IP this can be tagged as suspicious account, of course, there's a chance they might doing something not right, and by that can be caused to on having an issue with the withdrawal process. It is good to check the FAQs of the gambling platform to make sure they supported this kind of thing and lessen the issue in the future.

Aside from KYC verification, VPN usage should be the 2nd priority of users when checking ToS or FAQ. Most of the reputable casinos that I know doesn't allow VPN on their platform but there are some that allows it on certain conditions.

The reason I can think of about why some gambling website don't allow VPN on their platform is they don't want someone who is from a country like North Korea or China to access their website to gamble because it is illegal there.
3217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Crypto friendly country? on: August 19, 2022, 08:39:51 AM
What are best crypto friendly countries to live in? Meaning no taxes on crypto income, adequate banks, crypto as legal tender.
Thanks!

Currently there are only 2 countries that adopted bitcoin or cryptocurrencies as legal tender, it is El Salvador and Central African Republic (CAR). There is no country yet that pass all those 3 criteria but for me Singapore is the most crypto-friendly country. You are not required to pay taxes if you are trading crypto unlike other countries. Only businesses there that is related to crypto are required to pay tax to the government.
3218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe what Bitcoin has done for you on: August 19, 2022, 07:49:16 AM
Bitcoin has been a big help to me to finish my studies in college by participating bounty campaigns on this forum. I was able to pay some of my tuition fees during those times where we are struggling financially. It thought me at an early age that it is really not easy to earn money. I was able to met a lot of people online who share opportunities to earn even if it's not related to crypto. Bitcoin is also the one that thought me what assets can be a good investment aside from crypto.
3219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to be a hero? (maybe not) on: August 19, 2022, 06:42:33 AM
But one thing is for sure, if people could just learn how to put their money on bitcoin or crypto, in which they have total control, maybe in times of need, you can just transfer some and convert it to fiat anytime you want. You don't need to be a hero.

This is what I've been doing since stablecoin started to exist. I stopped putting all my money into banks and started to convert half of it into stablecoins or other crypto that is good for long term investment.

But for people who are not techy or born in a year where these types of technology doesn't exist yet, they would find it difficult to put their money in digital wallets to secure it themselves. They would still prefer the traditional way of storing money and it is through banks. Their mindset is completely opposite from people like me where they think crypto or digital currencies are scam.
3220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting facts about Bitcoin on: August 19, 2022, 05:38:33 AM
15. Keep your bitcoins in wallets or exchanges

I think this should be rephrased as "You can store your bitcoins in wallets or exchanges"

I checked the link on OP and found this statement here.

I don't see anything wrong with the statement because it explained how DEXs' basically work. But the title somehow can misinform people that it is safe to keep bitcoin on exchanges which is very dangerous to do. Similar to a bank, if an exchange goes bankrupt or suddenly shutdown, it's users can't do anything to recover their assets stored there.
