I'm having a lot of issues with my wallet updating. I tried following the steps suggested by the dev and nothing. Finally I renamed my Version folder (to Version_BU) launched the new waller and it created a new directory for everything and I did connect node etc and I still get stuck at block 70000
At this point im stuck and confued cause I pretty much did a fresh/clean install

It's not. But the altmarket needs something exciting after a bad week. That's why we're all pumping BC for no reason. Losing money is quite fun This is absolute FUD beyond FUD, read about the coin first and look at how big our community is. Also, yes the typical alt traders are jumping in because they see a green coin. Understand though, they are jumping in because this coin went green on its own first. If it was sitting stagnant with no volume they would be buying TAK or something right now. I hope this coin does well but I have a feeling people seem to think it's going to skyrocket and it's going to stay there.. :| Haha well people do have the imaginary vision of rockets to the moon. The reality of the market is the price will go up, it will settle to a floor, volume will back off, and it will stay that way until the community puts another charge up its arse. this is going to be bigger than anything.. wait a week and the Aurora coin pump will look tiny |

Anyone invested into BC is not thinking clearly or likes the risk of jumping on the pump n dump train.
Have you not thought further ahead to say why should I even hold this coin - what can you do with it? You cannot purchase things, there's no services, no outlook for the coin besides "lets raise the value artificially by taking value from other shitcoins"

right okay, but when most (if not all) customers refunds ARE completed then what will VMC end up with? nothing! There is no sales happening because there is no product to sell. Do you really think VMC will regain customers confidence when/if they actually come up with a working miner? i don't think so.
If ken can slap a miner together at a good price point with no pre-order or shipping delay it will sell. Id rather pickup a miner from him than order one coming from China or UK |

I think you need to re-read staycrypto's post above. Really hoping it is not dead, merely resting.
However, whilst I understand the pressure the dev and others are under, the lack of communication/information isn't helping.
I don't feel there is a lack of communication on his part. He is doing everything behind the scenes. He will report when he has something useful. His last update was very informative and if he has been up for 4 days he more than deserves a good nights rest. Additionally he has a personal problem as well. I don't know what that issue is, but with everything going on I am very impressed with what he is doing and how the situation is being handled. Patience is the key. I agree it was very informative, but one post in 36 hours when the coin is completely offline/unusable is hardly overdoing the communication is it? Don't get me wrong I am very supportive of this coin and want to see it succeed, but I definitely feel more information could be made available more frequently and it would help *a lot*. I understand. I can't and will not argure with how *you* feel. My previous post was how I felt, and everyone is different and I will respect it.  |

What exactly is BC? So many altcoins around now that it's impossible to keep track. I gave up on most alts after dumping my BBQ coins.
This is the impression I have gotten about BC: I would compare it to NXT, accept for the distribution end. NXT started out in the hands of 70 original investors. Blackcoin was openly mined for one week to generate coins and then was capped off at ~75,000,000 coins + 1% inflation per year. It is essentially a well distributed PoS coin. I recently read that there will be a new type of multipool for the indirect mining of Blackcoin. From what I understand, bitcoin is mined and traded for BC on exchanges, and users are paid in BC. Since BC is already capped, if this was well adopted, then blackcoin could become pretty valuable. Yeah.. I kinda wish I still had most of my blackcoins, sucks having to buy back in at a loss Im usually pretty good with my trades, but I needed btc at the time. This new system in place for the bc multipool will do well for the coin |

I e-mailed poloniex about this coin some days ago, need more ppl to help out if we are gonna get this coin more known. Dev doesnt seem to do anything atm.
Dev is busy. His other coin Version has an issue atm and he is working nonstop on it. be patient |
