3221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 12, 2021, 07:14:13 AM
So i watched Bayern vs Tigres in full length and i have to say that the victory of bayern was 100% deserved. It's normal that the european teams don't play at their highest level in this tournament because of the travelling and their tight schedule with league games before and after.
Bayern dominated pretty much the entire game and i personally think that the goal of kimmich was 100% legit and should have counted because lewandowski wos not in the field of vision of the goalkeeper and he didn't touch the ball.
The next bundesliga game for bayern will be hard, but given the fact that it is against bielefeld it should still be a win for bayern.
3222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: February 12, 2021, 05:17:04 AM

I don't understand you saying that Joshua has avoided dangerous fighters in the past. He has fought a decent fighters including Wladimir Klitschko. Besides the Heavyweight division is not that deep.

It's true he fought klitschko, but i think he tought that klitschko wasn't that dangerous anymore because he already was 41 years old at that time and had no fight for 2 years and he almost got knocked out by klitschko.
Don't get me wrong, i think it's pretty smart to pick your opponents carefully to make "easy" money and stay champ. Joshua is still only 31 years old and can still fight for 10 years, so it would be stupid if he had picked the hardest opponents in the beginning of his career.
3223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: February 11, 2021, 05:44:20 PM
I am still skeptical if a fight between those two happen until the contracts are officially signed. Joshua has avoided dangerous fighters so far as beste as he could.
You must give Wilder credit that he fought fury. If the fight Joshua vs. Fury really happens i think that joshua only has a chance to win if he knocks fury out, because fury is so good at avoiding punches and dancing around that he will probably land more punches overall.
3224  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] - [ICO] Block Collider - Mineable multi-chain protocol on: February 11, 2021, 01:23:32 PM

3225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 11, 2021, 11:55:35 AM
In the end betting will always remain mostly luck based because it's not in your hand if you win or lose but in the hand of the teams that compete. I would still say though that you can increase your chances of winning a bet if you know your sports well and also be up to date about the current situation of the competing teams. Do they have injured players? How did they perform in their last matches? Are important players banned or in bad shape?
To know stuff like that helps.
3226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people understand what market cap is? on: February 10, 2021, 03:57:27 PM
I been reading some of the threads here and what not and I see people predicating crazy prices in the hundreds for cyrptos (if some of them could even be called that) with billions of coins emitted that run 8 pages deep as if people have no idea how market cap works?

Most of the time if you read stuff like "this coin will easily be at 100$ in a month" when the coin is at 0,1 or so at the moment than you can be 99% sure that this post was made by a bagholder of that coin who wants people to FOMO into his project.
If you are a veteran of this forum you can just laugh about stuff like that, but for every newbie i really hope they don't fall for stuff like that. And yeah the most funny ones are those that predict prices for a unknown project that would result in a higher market cap than ETH or even BTC.  Cheesy
3227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 10, 2021, 12:49:43 PM
7 Days until Barcelona vs Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona will be without Araujo. Nowadays Barca is not competent to challenge to any other team! As a Barca fan I will remain positive that they will win. But, I have feeling PSG gonna win the game. We should keep a watch out how it goes this season.

For me it's a 50/50 game. Barcelona can still beat any other team on the planet if they have a good day but of course they are not in the same shape as 3 years ago and they don't seem to be very consolidated at the moment.
That being said i really hope Barca goes through here. In a match between a club with tradition and a sheikh / oligarch or whatever toy club i will always root for the former.
3228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another crypto ban is here on: February 10, 2021, 12:07:33 PM
Here we go again, another crypto ban is imminent, this time in Nigeria, what are the government thinking? This is a country that's suffering from economy collapse since many years now and youths are jobless, finally crypto came to the rescue and all government can do is ban?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/cointelegraph.com/news/central-bank-of-nigeria-bans-banks-from-servicing-crypto-exchanges/amp

Well that's a sad thing for every crypto enthusiast in nigeria, but as you can see it didn't have any impact at all at the crypto market as a whole. If a government thinks that a certain thing is a threat to the status quo and their power over a country they often see a ban as the last option.
But i am also sure that nigerian crypto traders find a way around that bans by using VPN or other tools.
3229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people follow Elon Musk? on: February 10, 2021, 11:22:57 AM
People follow him because he is the biggest man in cryptocurrency What he says happens. Is one of the people and when he speaks it is clear and easy.
He is a successful man in cryptocurrency The coin he talks about gets his price up. a few days ago he tweeted about dogecoin and check his price where are you. I think that's why people follow Elon Musk.

A lot of people see a visionary in him. When he founded SpaceX in 2002 i think even his most loyal supporters didn't expect that spaceX would become the most innovative space travel company on earth. Even ahead of nasa.
Same with Tesla. They pushed the development electric cars so hard that now even the bigges car producers in the world like VW, BMW and Mercedes are afraid of Tesla and heavily invest in their own electric cars.
Therefore it is no surprise to me that people also believe Elon Musk when he says that crypto is the future.. good for us  Cheesy
3230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB reached $100 on: February 09, 2021, 03:42:41 PM
I personally am not a big fan of binance because they kinda feel like a monopolist to me with the recent aquisition of coinmarketcap.
Now they are doing all those coimarketcap earn campaigns of coins that are all related to binance in a way and only get transfered to a KYC-verified binance account.
Even i have to acknowledge though that they made a lot of good decisions in the last years which brought them to the top.
3231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: February 09, 2021, 02:23:45 PM
friendly reminder that the DreamLeague is back today with Nigma - OG and Alliance - Tundra Esports

Thanks for the reminder. Even though i have stopped to regularly play dota2 5 years ago I always enjoy watching some good dota games.. esspecially from OG even if they seem to be not the strongest team in the world anymore. OG can cost you a lot of nerves though if you want to bet on them because sometimes they try the most ridiculous drafts and kinda throw the game away for fun  Smiley
3232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 09, 2021, 11:08:52 AM
I can hardly bring myself to watch formula 1 for a few years now. It is just not as exciting to watch as a few years ago.
Nowadays it's all about tire management and not about racing at the absolute limit, if a driver is really pushing it his tires will be gone after 5 rounds. I also miss refueling during the pit stops.
Plus Mercedes is so far ahead that hamilton wins every race easily even when he is holding back and his teammate is happy with being no. 2 behind him, which i don't blame him for.
3233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel, Looking at the Bullrun market? on: February 09, 2021, 10:30:41 AM
I also don't own any BTC and only a little ETH just as you OP. I arrived in the crypto space in 2017 therefore i was to late to participate in the ETH ICO or get BTC for below 100$.
And now for me it just feels weird to own 0.05 BTC if you invest 2000 $. I prefer to own a few thousand coins for that amount of money. It's a psychological thing.
But you can still make some profits in this market. If you pick the right small projects you will have way higher ROI than with BTC or ETH... it's very hard to pick the right projects though.
3234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much loose from ico 2021. I got rekt on: February 08, 2021, 10:53:28 PM
I invested on razor ... holy shit

2500usd loss within 4 hours.

Very dissapointed. How much u

I'm sorry to hear about your loss OP. It's really hard nowadays to pick the right new project to invest in. It's safer to invest in a more established altcoin or even bitcoin itself.
On the other hand i was pretty lucky with the last few presales i joined via an investment pool. Most of them performed pretty well so you can't say in general that investing in new projects is always bad.. you just need to be lucky or part of the right groups.
3235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH overpriced? on: February 08, 2021, 03:45:05 PM
Compared to BTC i really don't think that ETH is overpriced. Just compare the functionality of those 2 projects. Of course bitcoin still has the advantage that everyone outside of crypto thinks about bitcoin first when they here someone talking about cryptos.
ETH offers just so much more with smart contracts. Just look at the defi hype. Defi is only possible because of the smart contract feature that ETH has. Of course the fees at the moment are totally insane, but ETH is already working on a solution for this and ETH 2.0 is progressing.
So i can imagine that ETH prices keeps on climbing in the next years.
3236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 08, 2021, 01:15:56 PM
I think Haaland and Sancho are the players who do a really big job on attacking and there is a possibility for them to leave the club at the end of the season.

That's true and that's the dilemma of dortmunds strategy of buying young talents. There are 2 possibilities. A: The talent is not progressing as dortmund hoped and they have a young player that they don't want anymore but which they also can not sell for a decent price.
Or B: The player progresses as hoped and delivers great performances, but this also means that he leaves dortmund for the really big clubs like bayern, madrid, barca or the premier league teams. This whole stratey can't work out in the longterm in my opinion.
3237  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Top Coins nach Segment on: February 08, 2021, 01:04:43 PM

3238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 08, 2021, 11:30:37 AM

Looking at these odds i would go for a win of Freiburg against borussia Dortmund.
Freiburg is having a pretty good run in the last few weeks even if they lost against Wolfsburg last sunday.
Dortmund on the other hand even struggled against Paderborn in the dfb cup this week.

Well i should have listened to myself and put some money on freiburg on saturday, but of course i didn't  Lips sealed.
Dortmund is really playing a horrible season this year and i think they have to think again about their overall strategy. They gap between bayern and the bvb is growing each year and now even other clubs overtake dortmund.
To only buy very young talented players is just not working out. They also need experienced players that are top class but in that category they only have hummels and reus, which isn't enough.
3239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Ethereum smart contracts with +$20 cost of gas? on: February 08, 2021, 11:07:48 AM
The scalability issues of Ethereum in it's current state are shown again nowadays. If you have to pay 20$ of fees to do a transaction that is worth 10$ than something is wrong. Some actions like Yield farming even require multiple transactions to function.
I'm just happy that the development of the transistion from POW to POS have already started a few years ago and are now almost done. Once ETH 2.0 is fully rolled out those high gas fees should be a thing of the past.
3240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: February 07, 2021, 11:40:30 PM
Given the history between these two I sure hope this happens. If 50 could go in at his normal weight and this does end up being a winner take all match, I have to say it will be my most anticipated fight since Mike Tyson’s retirement.

https://www.complex.com/sports/floyd-mayweather-willing-to-fight-50-cent

This potential fight can not be compared to the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones jr. Fight. Mike Tyson in his prime was probably the most dangerous man on earth at that time and i'm pretty sure he would have also knocked out muhammad ali. He was just so extremely fast an powerful.
Same goes for Roy Jones jr. He seemed almost unbeatable in the early 2000's. Plus Mike Tyson donated most of his 10 M$ dollar salary.
You can be 100% sure that Mayweather won't donate a single penny of his salary. 50 cent also was bankrupt a few years ago if i remember correctly.
So for me this fight is just a disgusting publicity stunt to make Floyd "Money" Mayweather even richer than he already is. Lips sealed
