3221  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vareole is a scammer i have evrything to can prove !!! on: February 23, 2021, 11:07:26 PM
Guess AWSACTIVATE/VAREOLE alts got busted.  Vareole evidently forgot which account he was logged into.
Well this is quite interesting, I remember in a certain thread which I have failed to locate @AWSACTIVATE was claiming not to be connected to any of the scamming alt accounts

This is the AWSACTIVATE thread here.  Pretty sure my post will be deleted and ARCHIVE is taking forever:

What the on the bloody hell were you still doing dealing with someone who is a proven scammer?
Check his profile trust feedback - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2816771

We have almost a half a dozen negative feedback from DT members, on top of 2 active flags pointing out that the person is a scammer, and you still went a head and sent him $200?  Undecided
3223  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam website asicminersale.com review on: February 21, 2021, 11:31:15 PM
I asked him today. He told me that if his company doesn't ship out the goods. The Coinbase will not release the money to him. Is it correct?
He's lying, Bitcoin transactions are irreversible once confirmed. If you send him the Bitcoins from coinbase or any other wallet, the transaction will first have to be confirmed in order for him to be sure that he has received the money. At that point there is barely anything you can do to recover the money.

Don't send them money, they are already proven scammers.
3224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: From Forex Trading to Crypto Trading on: February 21, 2021, 10:31:01 PM
Welcome  Smiley

As I am very new to the platform, first I deposited 50 USDT, and with proper risk management, I was able to grow it to 240 USDT.
Out of curiosity what leverage did you use? Personally, I rarely go beyond 10x

Quote
As you can see, I lost everything on the following day. So I did kind of an Analysis after this loss. The simple reason is that, I went out of my trading plan. For every trade that I have won, I had risked only a 10% of the balance (yeah I know it is higher than the usual, but I risked a bit more), For this loosing trade (on CTKUSDT), I had to increase my margin almost the max. Reason is that I did not wait for the best price, but jumped into buying. Had I waited for the best price, I would have had a balance of 2000+ USDT in my wallet.
Yeah, I see where you made a mistake. This kind of trading requires a lot of discipline. You stick to the rules and your strategy no matter what, so long as it's working

Also I am planning to share my way of trading here, If any of you new to crypto trading and still finding a way to be profitable in leveraged trading, stay tuned!. This thread will be useful for you. Put enough effort to get your eyes familiar with the charts, and you will be able to read the price movement better.
I would be glad if you do. We learn new things every day and such threads can be helpful.
3225  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.com.. not getting email verification and I cannot get into my account on: February 21, 2021, 09:40:10 PM
I think after reading through different online stories you have noticed by now that blockchain wallet is not the kind of wallet you should use to store your Bitcoins.
The most Important question is, do you have a back up phrase of your blockchain wallet because to me, it looks like support won't help you promptly. If you have the phrase, Use electrum wallet to restore your account and spend your bitcoins

1. Download Electrum from the Official site (https://electrum.org) and verify the GPG signatures depending on your Operating System before installing it just to be sure you installed the right wallet software and not a malicious one.

2. Once you have installed it, Open Electrum, Select New and then enter your desired account name and click next to create.

3. Select Standard wallet and among the options select "I already have a seed"

4. Enter your 12 word seed and under the seed options button check BIP39 and click on next.

5.  I believe your script type on blockchain wallet was legacy as the default, so you select Legacy (p2pkh) and the derivation Path stays as m/44'/0'/0'

6. Enter your desired wallet password, click next to create the wallet. You should be able to see your bitcoins and spend them. If are not able to see your bitcoins, check the addresses in the wallet to see if one of them was your default address in the blockchain wallet.
3226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: dogecoin's withdrawal stuck on: February 21, 2021, 08:20:49 PM
We will repeat what our live chat support said to you regarding this issue.
There is not much that can be done in this case but to wait. If the transaction gets confirmed, then you are all set.
In the event the transaction fails/ is dropped, we will simply resend the payment to you.
I think you should work on updating the withdrawal fees every time major changes happen in the market like in this bull run. When Bitcoin and Ether fees spike for weeks or months, it simply means that most other altcoins are also going to experience higher fees for quicker confirmations.

A customer should never be punished just because of negligence from the casino's side. Use this a learning lesson and improve on withdrawals as soon as possible.
3227  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Indymoney - loan default on: February 21, 2021, 02:46:58 PM
It's a shame that @Indymoney has been receiving payments from the signature campaign he has been participating in but never even thought about the person who helped him out.

From this transaction which he decided to spend at the beginning of this month you can clearly see that he didn't spend any Bitcoins for 6 weeks. Why didn't he just send Royse777 that BTC as a way of reducing the debt? The total input in the transaction was 0.00940062 BTC

I don't like people who are too selfish to even think about those who helped them out. Regardless of the situation. We all have challenges in life. The Best thing he should have done was first pay up @Royse777 then get another smaller loan if life got really so hard.
3228  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 20-Feb-21] on: February 21, 2021, 02:13:59 PM
YOLOdice signature campaign is closing this week after Ethan, the owner of YOLOdice announced that they will be suspending the gambling platform from 1st/March/2021

Hi everyone.

I guess you've seen Ethan post. This is the last week campaign because Yolodice is closing.

It might reopen one day but for now I wish you all a very good life and hope you liked the adventure Cheesy

Cheers
3229  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Failure of exchanges on: February 20, 2021, 10:04:30 PM
it is a question of time who will be the next target.
Nobody knows the next target, that's the whole point of the attacks otherwise if they announce that "Hey, next week on Tuesday, we are going to carry out an attack on binance", then what will the point of the attack if people are going to get prepared and avoid the exchange on Tuesday?

The attacks happen almost to every popular site. Now in this crazy crypto bull run, expect lots of them, there's nothing much that can be done except being ready just in case it happens
3230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: February 20, 2021, 09:30:19 PM
In your opinion, can someone trading without experience or knowledge?
They can but might just be so lucky if they make it out minus losing all what's in their portfolio. Spot trading can be a little friendly for someone who's had no experience, but things like Futures trading can be so brutal and one can easily lose everything.

I think one first need to learn a number of things like the dynamics of the market, risk management, the dos and don'ts before embarking on a trading career that involves lots of money.
3231  Other / Meta / Re: User Rakabel619 copy pasting same posts multiple times on: February 20, 2021, 04:51:54 PM
It's more to do with spamming rather than plagiarism. Plagiarism is when one copies information from another source or someone else's post and posts it as their own work without giving any credits to the original source. So if you find such case just report the posts as spam. Mods will delete them.
3232  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Support on: February 20, 2021, 04:28:12 PM
https://www.binance.com/en/support. I don't know if they still have live support right now but judging on your statement,
They have live chat, but it's the slowest I have ever witnessed. Whenever I attempted to use it, my queue position would be above 100 and given that Binance had problems yesterday, I believe the request volumes are so high right now.
3233  Economy / Exchanges / Re: excuse me what the fuck? on: February 19, 2021, 11:36:55 PM
I don't know how many times I have sang about HitBTC's obscene withdrawal fees. I used them before but after realizing that their withdrawal fees are way out of the league (alongside yobit) compared to other exchanges, I withdrew all my money and never used them again. Just like I was, you are very lucky that they have never asked you to carry out KYC verification. When they do, be very sure that 98%, you won't able to recover your money.
The KYC procedure is designed to ensure that you just give up on recovering your assets. Just check out their ANN thread and see how many complaints are in there.

Edit:

They only way I withdrew cheaply was through EOS. They still charge 0.01 EOS(~0.05 USD) for withdrawal. Convert all your assets to EOS then withdraw. You can convert them back afterwards to your prefered coin in another exchange/swap service
3234  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The pain of trading in popular exchanges. Binance frooze during the BTC spike on: February 19, 2021, 09:29:43 PM
Isn't it a huge pain?

You want to make some quick profits on that popular exchange you feel safe to trade on due to Bitcoin price spikes but all of a sudden, everything implodes, You can log in, if already logged in; You can view your correct account balances, you can enter or exit positions, you can't see the fuckin' orderbook, you can't even make any withdrawals,

Is it still wrong to avoid this huge exchanges during times when coin prices go crazy?
I bet some members now agree with me

1. Binance is showing Zero Balance
2. Binance has temporarily suspended withdrawals of ETH and Ethereum-based tokens
3. What to do right now with Binance? It's terrible
3235  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What to do right now with Binance? It's terrible on: February 19, 2021, 08:22:10 PM
I had this sort of ugly experience 2 months ago, when Bitcoin's price spiked - The pain of trading in popular exchanges. Binance froze during the BTC spike

My resolution was to avoid popular exchanges during the times of excess price volatility or create orders with already set stop losses especially for futures trading or else your account can easily get liquidated as you helplessly look on.
3236  Other / Archival / Re: User LegendaryDR giving feedback to himself again? on: February 19, 2021, 01:18:13 PM
With these evidence its not clear that eabz is his alt account and this deal did not happen, but still both accounts shouldnt be trusted.
The fact that eabz admits in the thread that he bought a legendary account should be enough reason not to trust the account since account selling and buying isn't encouraged here. I am leaving both accounts negative feedback.
3237  Other / Meta / Re: Account Nuked, but posts made by the account can still be seen on: February 19, 2021, 12:03:44 AM
The account surfgott is not nuked. Although this is a very interesting situation when the post counter shows zero, but in fact the user has five posts. Forum engine bug.
Could this be a case of a previously nuked user getting unbanned, because the Mod log is showing that the profile was nuked as shown in the screenshot?
3238  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Thenewminer.com Newmine.io review - SCAM \ Something is wrong \ on: February 18, 2021, 11:56:40 PM
They are scammers. Don't send any money to them.

1. Claim to have been in operation since 2015, but the domain is barely a month old

2. Claim to have featured in popular media sites like Bloomberg, Forbes, BBC News but there are no links to prove so;

3. their website is full of copied images from other sources;

3239  Other / Meta / Account Nuked, but posts made by the account can still be seen on: February 18, 2021, 10:22:30 PM
I always thought that once an account is Nuked. All the posts that were made by the account would get wiped off along with activity points rendering the account brand new in rank

But in this particular case, surfgott was nuked according to mod log,

But one can still view the posts that were made by the account, meaning, they were not deleted: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1186551;sa=showPosts
So, what are we looking at here?

3240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance futures issue on: February 18, 2021, 07:45:29 AM
Tried doing that. Screen recorded it. Please have a look

https://imgur.com/a/Yxa7RjH
Seen it, I was suggesting that you try to close all your positions then you try to withdraw and see if all your balance (with realized profits) comes up. But before doing this check the borrow/repay option and see if you have any amount to repay before withdrawing.
