3221  Economy / Exchanges / Re: IS kucoin as safe as Binance with non-kyc VPN accounts? on: August 03, 2021, 08:03:00 AM
My country IP is banned from using Binance, but I have an account for about two years and I use a dedicated VPN IP address to access that account. I never had a problem in this whole time.

with recent Binance Dramatically Reduces Daily Withdrawal Limits, I thought of trying another platform. Is kucoin safe as Binance in terms of accessing accounts using VPN? Have you had any problems before?
If Kucoin doesn't allow your country residents to use their platform then it is never safe no matter you are using VPN and keep the limits as low as possible because every centralized exchanges may as you for KYC at any time even if there is no need for it and if you can't verify it then you can never get back to your funds.
3222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scam calling on: August 03, 2021, 07:32:22 AM
I would say don't even let anyone know about your personal number which is linked with bank accounts and other things that deal with banking and money, scammers via calls randomly target and wait for their prey who are old and illiterate who can't differenciate such things and you know still people are falling for old scam techniques while banks haven't taken any actions against them because the money lost is too small for a bank but for the individual it can be his life saving.

3224  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon will accept Bitcoin payment this year on: August 02, 2021, 04:14:04 PM
Is this actually a legitimate news? I don't see anything related to this but its actually a huge news which can be buzz if the Bezom himself addressed about this. Anyway if they are going to accept Bitcoin as direct payment the vision of Satoshi will be achieved to the maximum because Amazon is a place where tou can buy anything from anywhere.
We don't know the development yet, but the question in my heart is whether Amazon uses bitcoin as a means of payment there will not be a problem with the government, where of course there must be a permit from the government where Amazon stands regarding the legitimacy of Amazon itself as a business entity. but if this news is true, of course more and more people will adopt cryptocurrency
It will create problems for amazon because governments recognized bitcoin as an asset so how amazon is going to pay the taxes if they accept it as payment and if they allow then surely lot of people will start using bitcoin then governments will start accusing of people are evading taxes.

I will have an unconscious admiration for legends, and feel that what they say makes more sense, even newbies say the same thing.
I want to know if you guys feel this way Cheesy
Frankly, I see that there is some kind of bias among the fellow community members based on their reputation and newbies are not get the equal treatment here. But I would stay as neutral as possible while reading and replying to their posts but I would think multiple times when I am going to merit them.
3227  Economy / Speculation / Re: [UPDATE] Bangladesh maybe accept Bitcoin, Bangladesh bank mail to CID on: July 30, 2021, 05:39:15 PM
Bangladesh country is an Islamic country since there is a lot of misinformation about Bitcoin combining sharia law so no Muslim should hold bitcoin or any digital cryptocurrency because they say that its against the laws mentioned but how come they accept Fiat Money and the banking system which itself is against Sharia right?

You are lucky on that instance, because thousands of arts were created in that site.

I thought about creating a project on Opensea using my sister arts nut uet to create one.

Busy life, LOL....
3229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Direct Sending of Coins to another Coin Wallet. on: July 30, 2021, 04:08:11 PM
Just like the title says is it Possible to "Directly Sending of Coins to another Coin Wallet in the future"?

I mean not like now that from Exchange we need to convert first to what Coins we need to receive before sending to our wallet , but is there any chance in the future that there will be Platform or system that we will be letting to do such?

Example = i have Ethereum and i want to receive Ripple , in which i don't need to convert to Ripple first before sending in which i can directly sent the ethereum and i will receive ripple to my wallet?
Such kind of thing really need centralization and going to work like exchange with extra bit of fee for better convenience or literally there is no way to receive bitcoin when you send an altcoin because both are from completely different exchange and the valuation of 1 btc = 1 btc = ripple? Only exchange can decide that value.
3230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will long-term investments in the crypto space provide any guarantee? on: July 30, 2021, 02:41:43 PM
Aside from Bitcoin (BTC), will long-term investments in the crypto space provide any guarantee?
Of course my question is based on some experiences that occur in the market.
My observations of crypto market conditions, such as there are groups or people who do things that cause the price of other coins to only last for a moment.

Please have a discussion that makes all participants gain new knowledge.
Investments never comes with guaranteed rewards, if there is any guaranteed investment schemes and its legit then the ROI probably less than 10% which is too low in the cryptocurrency market.

While talking about the potential then Bitcoin and other popular coins gave good profits in long term and also its still growing.
3231  Other / Archival / Re: Helpful Guides For Newbie on the Electrum Wallet on: July 30, 2021, 01:01:16 PM
It's a good resource and now bookmarked this for future reference, thanks for this informative thread.

We have also topics and discussions here regarding Electrum wallet, AFAIK, there's a compilation thread of all Electrum wallet topics but I can't find that thread now.

^ Electrum also available in the smartphone platforms so like other wallets, user can access their funds from Android itself.
It's safer if you will use your desktop app version, not on the mobile app, you can find a good feature in a desktop app than the mobile, and also I have heard that using Electrum mobile app is vulnerable to hacks.

It's been years using this Electrum wallet and I always feel secure even storing a big amount of Bitcoin.
Mobiles are prone to hacks but desktop is not having minimal risk comparatively so both device is same if you keep your device malware free and as the above post suggested using Electrum via air gapped wallet is secured much or similar to hardware wallet in my opinion.
3232  Economy / Economics / Re: EU wants to ban crypto anonymous transactions and wallets on: July 29, 2021, 11:16:52 PM
Price jumped from 30K to 40K after such negative news which shows how much people are against the government amd they really wam9to achieve freedom for that bitcoin can help a lot.

I advise every newbie to use Electrum as well of they are holding funds worth whic is less than 10K but for larger amounts then its certainly better to go for hardware wallet which gives more security and multiple coin support.
3234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: July 29, 2021, 09:48:31 PM
Meanwhile bitcoin is on the path of 1 billion by that time. Shocked

And the purchase value of fiat dropped too much, you need few thousand dollars to satisfy the daily food needs? Smiley
3235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin that two people highly esteem on: July 29, 2021, 09:14:37 PM
Lately I've been seeing tweets from Elon Musk and Matt Wallace who very often glorify Dogecoin and even they both seem to dislike BTC and ETH, thus saying that the Dogecoin transaction system is faster and cheaper than BTC and ETH, even Elon Musk himself immediately said that Dogecoin will be superior to Bitcoin and Ethereum after upgrading.
How do you guys react to this kind of thing?
It depends on how much knowledge you have about cryptocurrency and those people has how much influence on your investmental decisions. For me those kind of tweets doesn't have any weight but in real life lot of people making decisions based on other people's influence. Dogecoin is just a memecoin which is actually created as joke even the real creators dropped the development idea then what kind of upgrades those people are talking about? Huh? Roll Eyes
3236  Economy / Economics / Re: Can blockchain replace the traditional banking system? on: July 29, 2021, 09:08:40 PM
The emergence of blockchain technology has changed the development of global digital payment system business. With the impact of new cryptocurrency projects on banks and other financial institutions, many companies are forced to start making changes to their systems.
In the traditional financial system, the regulator will monitor your operations in order to maintain the integrity of the system, and the process will incur large costs and may be full of fraud. But the blockchain system gains integrity by incentivizing the best interests of the system and allowing anyone to verify it.
Blockchain and cryptocurrency are integrated into all walks of life to solve traditional solutions with safer and more efficient technologies. Although it is well known that it cannot replace cash, it may have the opportunity to replace or cooperate with traditional banking systems. Blockchain as an important innovation field of financial technology, can it replace the traditional banking system in the future?

https://www.ibtimes.com/can-these-blockchain-solutions-replace-traditional-banking-system-3259844
Banks are not imposing any changes into their financial system since all they are trying is to suppress the new blockchain digital payments with the tag of criminal money. Some governments even banned cryptocurrency without strong reason or simply because it affects their cashflow system.

While cryptocurrency is completely decentralized means no one can stop you from using it but you need mass people to realize that.
3237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to know before trading. on: July 29, 2021, 08:19:18 PM
A thumb rule for anyone to be a successful trader is "Buy low and Sell high".

No matter what kind of trading your are trying to do with crypto but you shouldn't have to violate the rule 1 then you.will ne a profitable trader and the experience can teach you further things better than reading from a book.
3238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always take profit on: July 29, 2021, 08:14:04 PM
It's easy to enter with good entry point but the challanging thing is taking profit before a retracement and most of the times this retracement could be a beginning of a new trend changing a winning trade to loss. And in situations where the trader fails to apply stop loss there could be chances of blowing off ones account. A profit taken is better than a loss made no matter how small accumulation of smalls makes a mighty bulk.

Have you considered taking profits of $1-3$ repeatedly throughout a trading session it might sound small for professional traders but it would go along way in growing an account most especially for beginners. If a trader cultivate the habbit of taking profit during trading he would have an upper hand over the market and also get clearer pictures of better entry points and also be on alert on when to exit especially during retracement.
Keeping your trades less risky with low profits margin and investing back the profits you made again into your next trade can theoretically can make more profits in paper but how long you can be doing 100% perfect trades?

You can never exit that trade at perfect point because it relies on the future cryptocurrency price movement.
3239  Economy / Reputation / Re: Show of Appreciation, A Senior Member, a new responsibility on: July 28, 2021, 05:10:58 PM
Congratulations for your new achievement but avoid creating such threads in the future because we had enough of such inspirational stories on multiple sections of bitcointalk so excessive of anything is also can be considered as spam.

Myself lacking few merits as well to reach Sr.Member but somewhere I missed my merit earning so now lacking for too long. Roll Eyes
