3221  Other / Archival / Re: [Help] Avatar Doesn't Change on: January 28, 2019, 05:44:26 AM
It's successfully changed upon seeing your avatar now, try to clear cache your browser so the previous avatar will be updated with the new one.

Already tried that mate, but still I can't see it. I even did restart my PC. As well on my android phone, I'm seeing the same thing.

edit:
Hit ctrl+F5 to force refresh your browser if still not yet updated.

You did fine mate thanks. Now my phone is the only problem. Tongue
3222  Other / Archival / [Help] Avatar Doesn't Change on: January 28, 2019, 05:39:05 AM
I searched a thread regarding this matter for I remember something like this back then.
But the thread was locked, although I already tried the methods given by the other users, I also tried to wait after an hour but still the image on my avatar remains the same.

Here's the locked thread from before:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1695697.0

As you can see my avatar is still on BITVEST, but I already changed it into BITBLENDER

Is there anything I can do? I already tried waiting for it to changed by itself but it seems after a number of hours its still the same.
I even restored the defaults on my chrome. At first I thought I was the only one seeing this, but I tried using my alt "madruine"

Any Ideas? Huh
3223  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to select a good gambling site on: January 27, 2019, 10:58:10 PM
Are all the people here broken? They don't seem to find this thread trash, they didn't even read the first comments on this topic, dumbass signature spammers don't even care as long as they can fill up their needs.

People of bitcointalk, kindly notice first the whole environment before making a move. This is the reason why we're still polluted with tons of spams... Haters gonna hate. Stop bitching on this thread already
3224  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [FOR MERIT] when was the word "halvening" created. on: January 27, 2019, 09:49:20 PM
I like to use the LoyceV AI capabilities to find the answer of this question.

I already asked the AI reagrding this, but it seems the origin of this word is still unknown even with the power of AI. The fact that even the AI doesn't know about this, then I assume that this is much harder to find than a lost dog several days ago Tongue

I saw the thread, I don't know Tongue Never used the word, I know the "Flippening" from those Eth guys, but they're awefully quiet lately.
3225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: January 27, 2019, 09:17:37 PM
Worst case of being cheated is also not being able to play your funds for not knowing that they'll be shutting down their platform. Can't even blame them for you won't be able to reach them by that time. You can only cry and drink beer while suffering, just like when your BAE cheated on you Tongue

But as for the time being since the online gambling platform has been winning so much money from users, with these they can't even think about shutting down the whole system for they'll also lose the opportunities that's waiting for them.
3226  Other / Meta / Re: Weird newbie account with 2 merit wearing avatar? on: January 27, 2019, 04:29:42 PM
If this bug was accidentaly made by the new copper membership fee, then I suggest if you really want it badly, then pay for it again Tongue

Do you have any reference for it? It looks like this is not a isolated case. People have posted at least 2 more accounts with the same issues.
Really want to know what happened Smiley

The fact that both accounts was registered last year and hasn't been also a deranked Full Member, instead theyboth availed the Copper Membership. This maybe a bug or certainly they possibly achieved to bypass the limitations upon their accounts.

The said account are still active, might want to ask them on how they did achieve such thing.

As for @Hakorede mentioned that they're not a new registered Copper Members then we can say that this might be a bypass. I may sound contradicting myself here but because if it just a bug, then why is it only a number of them and not the others who availed it back then?

I remember there was a time in 2018<>...

Would you mind getting us on that matter? You can provide us a link or just a clue where you've found it recently.
3227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 27, 2019, 04:15:52 PM
Just had enough puttin' on the leagues, I guess this year might also be best. Though this season are really hot for every teams, and the playoffs are yet to be finished instantly. I just hope we can see much thrilling performances on the field not just always carried by the all-stars.

Still GSW is on top for the western conference and Bucks for the eastern, Another game will set tomorrow :
Pacers vs GSW, with just looking I may know now the outcome of this play Tongue for they also failed on winning with Grizzlies (Memphis)
3228  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitmoneytalk.com -Filipino owned Social network - Get PAid for social activities on: January 27, 2019, 03:59:09 PM
-snip

Now, I just felt that OP is quite pissed because of those users asking questions redundantly/repeatedly. Although he already stated the limitations of the rewards based on activities but people doesn't get it quickly...

And foremost, I don't think quoting the whole image is a nice way to reply on that.

Anyways, as the OP have said that he will pay the users with his own money, then I can now perceive that these rewards are only meant for beta testers - well, it shouldn't be bad as for the goal of this project is to build up a community. Rewards are only like compensations. If you're ready enough I can also help you by spreading the news regards on this project.
3229  Other / Meta / Re: Weird newbie account with 2 merit wearing avatar? on: January 27, 2019, 03:44:02 PM
Not fair Cheesy

I would like to have option for avatar also as Copper member.

If this bug was accidentaly made by the new copper membership fee, then I suggest if you really want it badly, then pay for it again Tongue

Though this isn't reallly fair for us who ranked the way all up here just to where that avatar and I can also conclude that if that is already possible then wearing signatures upon the new Copper Members will also be like on the Full Member priviledges.

Let's wait until theymos finds this issue, and maybe this accounts was really made by the staffs.
3230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't let those spelling mistakes & poor grammar turn your post into a shitpost. on: January 27, 2019, 02:53:57 PM
<…>
The majority of low/null value posts are so really due to their content, and no so much because of their grammar, with which one can be more belligerent providing the content is decent enough.

Of course it’s when both of these features collude on a post, and that is rather common, that it gets a shower of adverse qualifying adjectives which overspill onto the author, and get stuck to him/her/it for the times to come.

Indeed, We also have coolcryptovator (I think, if I'm not mistaken- correct me if I'm wrong) which is not really good at grammar for the reason English isn't his mother language just like me. But the way he can provide a good content is a big points though. It's just an individual's perception on the  topic. Even if sometimes we failed to look into our spellings this isn't a way to judge that it is already a shitpost.

Still, you have a good suggestion there, I will also try that out.
3231  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitmoneytalk.com -Filipino owned Social network - Get PAid for social activities on: January 27, 2019, 02:06:52 PM
With just looking at the graph given by the OP, its much better than playing on some faucets waiting for an hour just to roll over. In just 1 day if you're activr like on facebook you definitely get these rewards and make a withdrawal on an early period. And also it is quite amusing that this platform has its every activity rewarded.

But still, OP isn't answering the question on how can he gey us payed if the said platform has been able to get millions of subscribers and users.
3232  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitmoneytalk.com -Filipino owned Social network - Get PAid for social activities on: January 27, 2019, 07:15:14 AM
It's look likes an interesting site very simple and easy to understand especially newbie but I think the reward is too low.

Mate the rewards are not that small, in fact, what he is doing is somewhat like a community rewards are just a gift for the users to be kept active.

And also, I think he's not ready yet to get into bounties to promote his work, the platform isnt ready yet. I think it must be finished first and have our questions to be answered in a way we can understand every bit of his work.
3233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [FOR MERIT] when was the word "halvening" created. on: January 27, 2019, 05:29:27 AM
Impossible to know and I'm sure someone used it in real life talking instead of typing it on a forum.  I still don't see the word that often, lot of people just say block reward reduction or something similar.

Yeah, it might be, I also tried my best to find its origin, history, where did it come from, and others. But all I can find was halvening that happened back then. Can't really find who made that slang word...

This is quite infamous don't you think?
3234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines' PH Resorts Group gets regulatory nod for $350 million share offerin on: January 27, 2019, 03:41:52 AM
Nope, doesn't concern me on that matter, I've already lost my interest in this country.

Governments aren't going to say no to easy money.  They would rather make these types of businesses legal and generate a lot of new revenue.  Prohibition didn't work in the United States back in the day, the best solution is to make it legal and tax the hell out of it.

As long as the government of this country can get so many taxes whatever business may that be they will not gonna prohibit it from running. Even if they're contradicting their own rules and regulations, they'll sure put a blind eye into these kinds of matter.

Corrupt people will never see those things as illegal as for the OP, they'll just make it Legal. Nothing new, I suppose. What a waste for having a country like this.
3235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 27, 2019, 02:58:13 AM
I just watched some playoffs back then and seen the 3-point batlle of Kevin Hart and Draymond Green, has anybody here seen that? They both suck on that game but it's SUPER ENTERTAINING, can't help my self from laughing at those two, though I really thought Hart would never get any point for he's just small compared to green, but still he won the shooting game Smiley

It's kinda unfair for he only got a ribbon Cheesy for winning.

Here's the link for anybody who wants to catch that scene:

Currently on Celtics vs GSW

3236  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitmoneytalk.com -Filipino owned Social network - Get PAid for social activities on: January 27, 2019, 12:49:50 AM
I know that 1 satoshi is almost nothing for the majority of us. But if I ever able to made a 50,000 posts (though very long to achieve), how will you pay me and the other members who did the same? Where would be the source of funds for that? Huh

Certainly, the update and feature was good, but the thing is where will he get the funds? From the ads? It would be possible if he's are rich, if he have a big mining properties, or he will have many investors that willing to be on a partnership on this project.

As for the OP, That kind of feature might take the filipinos interest for we all have the money faces on us. Would you mind telling where will be the funds coming from? If you'll ask me that will be an easy money for us, we might quit from signatures and as for the others they also might stop from bounty hunting and earn shitcoins.
3237  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit abused on: January 27, 2019, 12:40:17 AM
Seriously?! From September to January, just how many months was that? I don't see any reason why should this be open again? People doesn't learn eh?

Oh my fellow man, why do you always do such things?.

You're just being a joke here. For the guy who bumped this thread, kindly read this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096483.0 it should teach you a lot of lessons and also, for that you may not be able to do such nonsense again.

P.S. Reported.
3238  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to select a good gambling site on: January 26, 2019, 02:08:55 PM
I agree with cabalism, how would an expert advice you if no site will be referred. It is good to gain information to a certain site to gather information in what gambling site would be to choose to gamble. You can choose different sites and compare it's advantages and advantages and ask questions to those who gamble on the referred gambling site.

There's no need to waste time to make an advice to this hudloom, he just created this thread for nothing he wasn't actually needing some advice from us players.  He won't even budge to read some nor apply it. He just wants this thread to be flooded with countless of opinions from anybody here.

Anyways, just reported this thread for being redundant. And for OP  whose being such a peon who doesn't know anything.

P.S. Now I see the reason for this post, OP is also a participant of a campaign, mate don't be like that, just because of the post that you need. I just hate the likes of you. I also participating signature campaigns but I'm not like that. Be ashame of yourself.
3239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is growing at nonstop rates in my country on: January 26, 2019, 10:38:15 AM
I, somewhat feel jealous with you guys, here in my country casinos are the only ones whose permitted to play gambling on the house, then other than that its illegal, although it is something like that people here doesnt care, most of the people here are addicted to gambling, especially on dice and card games,... And on some old hags there they're into MAHJONG, which they play all night together with their amigaz.

Its such a wsste for being here in a country like this.  Even if they don't have the money they'll surely borrow from someone just to play.
3240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unforgettable Gambling Stories... on: January 26, 2019, 09:28:06 AM
My unforgettable (friend's) gambling story is whenever he win bets we used to go out and spend all the money together for drinks and foods. Cheesy

But we are used to work at different places for now,so missing his free money, spending my own money everyday. Cry
That is really unforgettable story mate since you’re always getting free drinks and foods, for sure if i were you missing him will always on my mind also LOL 😂

Every human here must feel the same way like you mate, besides getting free meals always is quite a good thing and quite a fortune, I can say.

With your story I can't stop missing my friends Smiley but not for their goodness, but its the opposite, it's always me who treat them whenever I got some extra money on my pocket Tongue
