The SEPA's have finally arrived on Stamp. Expect a small surge at least.

SEPA has arrived and the whole site is back up.

Still massively dissapointed in the customer service exhibited in this last 48 hour period.

We apologize for any delays which you may have experienced. We currently accumulated a backlog which we are now working to resolve as soon as possible.

Thats all fine to say now but its really not hard to keep your customers in the loop and answer support tickets quicker than 48 hours. One ambiguous announcement on facebook when your an active member of the community really doesn't cut it. Not when theres thousands of dollars in limbo.

Thankyou for sorting it all out though and I hope you will provide an explanation as to what happened.

I'd be more inclined to believe that if I hadn't received a SEPA transfer from Bitstamp this morning.

When did you send it?

Absolute joke. With no communication via social media or here (despite the owner of the exchange being a frequent figure on the forums and has been logged in recently as well) I don't hold high hoped for my funds in limbo.

Call me cynical but isn't it funny that it comes out that they are having 'banking software' issues and then all of a sudden the sites down for well over 24h, support tickets not answered for two days and no communication at all.

My moneys on their bank freezing their account and all this other mess is more of a distraction while they attempt to get it sorted.

KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS IN THE LOOP IF YOU DONT WANT TO LOSE THEM.

I for one wont be trading on bistamp any time soon.

Send wires. Every chinese national is entitled to $50k / year conversion.

Good luck with that Europeans have been waiting on wires for a week.

As soon as all the fiat thats been in limbo for the past week or so on its way to stamp gets there we're going to see a rise in price.

Stamp seems to be back online. Lets see where this ends up!

Spend some! Seriously there's no better way to get the word out than spending it. It grows the market so increases the value of your other coins. I tend to pay with bitcoin when I can and immediately rebuy what I spent. Means I'm not out of pocket (due to discounts more often than not actually better off) and contributing to the community. But other than that advertise that you accept bitcoins if you own a business or even for other services of yours.
DONT ram it down peoples throats, its complicated and new and theres no better way than to put off the general public than hearing someone constantly go on and on about something especially been as they may not get the whole ideaology

Localbitcoins is good especially if your wanting cash rather than lots of transfers into your bank.

Bitstamp is fairly reliable but are experiencing withdrawal and deposit problems at the moment so I would give them chance to clear that before depositing or withdrawing.
