Hallo!

I'm an italian student of Milano who study Economy.

I want to know if I can download IN EXCEL the historical quotes and the trading volume of each exchange for a project about Benford's Law. If there is the possibility, what is the link?

Thank you for your kindness

currently bears have had a few great days. but i think we'll soon see bears change into bulls as there is no reason why bitcoin should go lower than $200. some times people are just lucky when their prediction becomes reality and they start to think they are an expert.

Don't hold your breath. You will see $200 break again.

They create new users and put a link in profile. Advertising and probably increasing Alexa rank as this may work as backlinks.(?)

can you elaborate it?

"increasing Alexa rank"

This is not an accurate way of measuring who is active and who is not a few members just read without posting much

This thread is basically me asking theymos for stats.

sure!!
i think theymos it is one who can give you the right stats...
he can query bitcointalk database..
just type the right select and you can extract all the data avoiding to scann and parse,
hundreds of HTML pages...

I think there are ~ 25k active members here, but it is only a "supposition" because as marcotheminer said "Around 250 new members register each day, most being bots that disappear after they are created."  but they may be active one day (who knos?).

i don't understand
"but they may be active one day (who knos?)"

if you do not need users now,
why create it to activate then??
what could be the purpose???
3229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a game of conviction on: April 15, 2015, 12:25:48 PM
not a cult, not a cult, not a cult
It worked for Steve Jobs and Bill Gates.

wow!!!
and what are you doing here???

fired from microsoft & apple???

i think this could be a record!!

ehehehe
sorry!!!

I could not resist..

i'm joking here!!

i can't access this faucet when i try to visit there always blank page appears

what is the problem? anyone has problem like me?

Working for me. Try refreshing your page and clearing your cookies
If still problem aries, visit back later which not worths because of 0 balance

A very Cheap and stupid trick to cheat people just for a few hundred views which won't generate any revenue or if yes then <BTC0.001

that is also working for me but faucet has zero balance in account so admin must fill the wallet to pay the users.

still zero balance!!!
hope it could be greatest than zero soon!!!

kind regards!!!

3232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a game of conviction on: April 15, 2015, 08:06:36 AM
Its as simple as that, whoever has the conviction to believe in honest money will eventually end up very wealthy.
its hard to hold through all the booms and busts, just ask anyone who bought at 1$ and sold at 10$.

It's a game of trading and non-bias.

we are talking about bitcoin!!!

not about

bit coin tis real.. and we can all use it!!!
there is no need to wait for
no need to wait until it is developed

3234  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTC Conversion Service on: April 15, 2015, 08:00:57 AM
It may be against that particular exchange to do such thing, so take the proper measures so your activity is not detected.

The best place for you advertise your service would be Localbitcoins.org.

i think localbitcoin could be what you need...

you can use localbitcoin API https://localbitcoins.com/api-docs/
to integrate the features you need in your exchanege/app..

have fun!!!
3235  Economy / Economics / Re: Technical Analysis - Bitcoin - 4-14-2015 on: April 15, 2015, 07:55:12 AM
i can't see well the value, but it seems that we are not going to sub 200 zone, as long as we stere above it should be safe enough to buy some btc

i think he want to say who 200$ it is a stron static support...
if we go down 200$ level, we will see a deep drop of bitcoin in the short term.

daily Renko stay short...
3236  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Fatty Faucet - The fattest faucet ever! on: April 14, 2015, 05:09:20 PM

3237  Economy / Speculation / Re: A bet on: April 14, 2015, 05:05:58 PM
Lots of big bear talkers here.

Who will take a $100 bet we do not see single digits by 2020.

single digit???
if it will be...
it will be the end of bitcoin...
and between 67 weeks
we will see the halving to 12.5 btc/block...

and you think to see the bitcoin price to one digit also???
3238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.2 Automated Transactions on: April 14, 2015, 04:46:56 PM
BTC drop, burst drop, lower mining earnings... did I miss something?  Huh
BTC dropped is not the main cause, it is BURST / BTC dropped actually!

Well, this hypecoin is on its way out too =( bummer, was hoping something awesome for it.

If you feel that way, sell them and take off. No need for these types of comments here. We know what this coin is, and what we plan to do with it. If you don't believe in it, you're free to leave.

Not sure but my daily earnings dropped since last 2 days. Around from 1.6k to 900burst/day with 9.8TB.

I'm just wondering if there's some special settings I need consider for burst.ninja?

Maybe it's just a coincidence from burstcoin.io downtime, this, then the drop of coins.

The past two days were poor for me also, I didn't find any blocks Sad
Maybe the network difficulty was higher or maybe just bad luck!

to find some block in solo,
you need at least 60TB or something like this!!!

i thik they are really a lot of 4TB hdd...
exactly 12 !!!

you will never see ROI.
3239  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Fatty Faucet - The fattest faucet ever! on: April 14, 2015, 04:44:32 PM
i get another error!!!

"Can't connect to database. Check your config.php."

hum...

don't work for me!!!
3240  Other / Meta / Re: How many active members are there? on: April 14, 2015, 04:43:14 PM
I'm wondering. How many individual members are there that have:
- Posted at least once in the past week
- Logged in at least once in the past week

- Posted at least once in the past month
- Logged in at least once in the past month

Do not include newbies/brand new users.

Would be nice to see some stats regarding the above. Around 250 new members register each day, most being bots that disappear after they are created.

i really hope in the bitcointalk forum 2.0,
we will be able to use api to avoid to scan
all this pages and parse html to extract the info who we need!!!
but maybe.. i'm dreaming!!!
