3221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / 650 U.S. banks will soon be able to offer bitcoin purchases on: June 30, 2021, 07:13:05 PM
I have tried to find a similar topic and wondering how this news was missed in the forum. 650 US banks will open Bitcoin purchases, I think it's not a small adaption if it happens really. Most probably that service will be provided by NCR banks, users will be able to purchase Bitcoin through NCR’s 800,000 ATMs as well. But surprisingly I notice Bitcoin's price drop after this news (Lol). However, I think this step will make it easier to trade Bitcoin for US citizens.

Please read the news source for more details: $6 Billion NCR Opens Bitcoin Purchases To 650 Banks And Credit Unions
3222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with Bitcoin whenever you're able to? on: June 30, 2021, 06:44:58 PM
I have been using Bitcoin where accepted. My country doesn't allow to use of cryptocurrencies. So usually I can't use it nationwide. You are paying for hosting, I am paying for the domain. As you know Namecheap accepts Bitcoin payments, so it easy to buy domains from there with Bitcoin. I can say it's hassle-free at all than using PayPal or a Master card. Also, I bought an Amazon gift card with Bitcoin from the forum. So obviously I always like Bitcoin adaption and I do not miss opportunities if I can spend Bitcoin directly for my needs. But to be honest, it's hard to spend Bitcoin lately due to high transaction fee.
3223  Other / Meta / Re: Why does the signature look a bit weird? on: June 30, 2021, 06:30:59 PM
Signature visibility depends on the design. Even the Signature looks different in a different device, operating system, and browser. Especially if you add much design on Signature and add many characters then the Signature view will must different based on browser, operating system, and device. If signatures content limit with design and characters then most likely it would look like same everywhere. I have worked with a couple of signature designers, so I know the fact. Because it's code, not a banner image. I am not sure if you have experience, this difference you would find in some websites as well.
3224  Economy / Scam Accusations / investmentmk.biz | Ponzi scam on: June 30, 2021, 06:18:11 PM
Website: https://investmentmk.biz
Archived: https://archive.is/2IFPN
Not yet found in the forum.
What happened: Ponzi Scam promising high return.

Nothing to say too much, just sharing the scam site to make awareness. Scammer offering up to 17% per day isn't just unrealistic but also ridiculous. The domain name itself looks like a scam. So guys just be careful.

3225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The First Bank In Mexico Is About to Start Accepting Bitcoin on: June 29, 2021, 07:09:16 PM
Although it's quite surprising banks decide to accept Bitcoin, but I have to say they realize the value of Bitcoin. But nothing there to overexcited, because the bank is a centralized organization. If all banks start accepting Bitcoin then Bitcoin will look like a centralized cryptocurrency Although functionally decentralized forever. But still, I will take it positively. I never agree to compare Bitcoin with gold, both are different things like as you said Bitcoin has a limited supply. I do not agree as well to call fiat fraud. If I am not wrong we still need it for at least a few more years. There is nothing success or failure, either bank accepts or not, Bitcoin is Bitcoin.

Welcome to the community. I am not sure how you want to do good here, but yes, you must learn before doing good of course. Just make it simple, if someone does not study then he/she can't be a teacher. Same here, you have to learn from here then you would help or do good for the forum. This forum was created for educational purposes about Bitcoin. You may post if something isn't related to crypto-currency as well, but not on this board. There is separate board called Off-topic . So please make a post in the appropriate section when you intend to make a post. Before that just learn to use the search button if there are any existing related topics where you would find your desired answer. Best of luck.
3228  Other / Meta / Re: Welfare Board on: June 28, 2021, 11:49:35 AM
Please in the future if you make any questions just ask yourself first if there is an alternative solution. The best answer to your question has been given by @hilariousandco. Which problem is even not related to the forum can't expect any implementation from the admin. The forum gives you the opportunity to join a signature campaign, but it's not even related to forum activity. If you are doing any work through a forum then your responsibility to contact your manager. For that forum PM is helpful.

Hope you got desired answers from here. Please lock the thread from the lower left to avoid unnecessary discussions.
3229  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAmWATCH] Cryptobold.com; Fake Trading signals on: June 28, 2021, 11:05:08 AM
No doubts it's a scam. On the other hand, I don't believe in any kind of signal service either through a website or any other channel like Telegram. Really they don't have any trading skills, if it was then it doesn't necessary to begging from others. Simply they could multiply their own investments. It's not even Ponzi Scheme, it's a direct scam IMO. Ponzi Scheme at least pays sometimes earlier investors. But if you make deposits on this site means your funds are gone forever. I don't how some people made deposits there. But scammers using fake push notifications to attract investors. Just stay away from it guys, don't be greedy.
3230  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Roicapital.online | Ponzi Scheme on: June 28, 2021, 09:14:58 AM
The domain name is pretty known to me. After seeing the name automatically one thought come to my mind that I know the name or something similar of this. Most provably back 4-5 years ago when I was looking for a online job. That time I saw some Ponzi scheme site looks like this domain.
As we have seen sometimes scammers have been buying an old domain to make us fool. But in this case, the scammer just chooses another extension of the domain. Because this domain registration date is pretty new. They do not invest much to buy a domain or build the site since they know they are going to scam and will change the domain with the same script after a few days. It's become a common attempt nowadays.

However, moderators took the right action by removing this thread.
3231  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this a punishable offence? on: June 28, 2021, 08:32:53 AM
All 3 accounts were given several chances to remove their signature and they didn't, so obviously they don't care. These are just 3 farmed accounts and he's gonna milk em for all they're worth.
Good catch, most probably these are alt account although there is no strong evidence yet (hope it will discover once a day). They will not remove, because he thinks promoting scam isn't a crime since the forum hasn't been preventing them from posting on the forum. Simply OP doesn't know how a trust system works.

OP haven't removed 1xbit on his signature though, although he recently found out about the scam accusation.
Because OP is a lair. He knows it is a scam and consciously he wore the signature. Now making a thread to remove negative tags. He doesn't have the intent to remove the signature.
3232  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this a punishable offence? on: June 27, 2021, 07:53:23 PM
Where were you when lots of discussions happen on the forum about the 1xbit campaign? It's surprising you hadn't noticed discussion but notice when you get the red tag. As I have seen last time there were no participants in 1xbit without a red tag. I can't imagine you haven't noticed the red tag of the campaign manager hence you are blaming you were unaware. Trust isn't moderated and all DT member's opinions aren't the same anyway. The community does not want to see 1xbit advertisements on the forum, either forum ads or signature ads. You are promoting a well-known scam means you are supporting them. Most likely that's why you got the tag. For me, I support this kind of tag, you should learn.
3233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Go ahead and invest when ever you are ready on: June 27, 2021, 07:37:16 PM
Well wrote OP, no one can predict perfectly about Bitcoin up to where it would drop or up. If you follow many people or predictions then you will be just confused. For me always buy when I feel that's a dip, doesn't matter if it's a real dip or drops more. Because we can't read future that we can buy it exactly bottom. But always I have been trying to do my own research. Same during the sale as well, when I need to sell then the price doesn't matter, because it's needed for life. But usually, I sell when I am on profit. I do not buy if I can't afford dump.
3234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Dorsey vs Elon Musk(meme Master) on: June 27, 2021, 09:54:36 AM
A while ago notice that news and wondered to share but seems OP already made it. To be honest nothing surprising to me. Most probably Jack Dorsey's motive is good for Bitcoin, but I doubt about Elon Musk's motives. He always looks for his own benefits. His recent behaviors don't indicate that he has any motive to make the crypto-friendly environment at all. Who knows if he accumulated more Bitcoin in dip and now he wants to pump it back? I don't like to see new drama again and again. Elon only wants to take advantage of the pump dump, we already know about Doge, and seems he is moving to Shib as well to pump it. So don't expect too much from him.
3235  Economy / Services / Re: Wallet Recovery wallet.dat, seeds, passphrase, password on: June 26, 2021, 06:25:37 PM
Wallet recovery service with ZERO reputation? Unbelievable attempt, I don't think forum users stupid enough to trust you. Do you have any paste recovery records on the forum? Can you provide us if so? If not then you are in the wrong place and most probably no one gonna trust here. For me seems it's a scam attempt.

Guys who want to recover wallets just follow as said @Lucius. Don't hand over our wallet credentials to OP if you aren't sure about it. You have to trust OP, but I don't think he deserves it.

What happened: A brand new user promoting Ponzi Scheme behind of exchange list.

During the browse Trading section, discover brand new users make a suggestion thread for exchange. He has suggested the 9 best cryptocurrency exchange and investment platform where Binance is #9 and RoiCapital is #1. Once I visit the number one site then discover that is a Ponzi Scheme where the daily return is 5%. Then I realized that OP just trying to promote that Ponzi Scheme and that's the reason he creates a brand new account here. Please don't follow his suggestions and don't lose your funds. Don't be greedy and don't trust this suggestion.

3238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT has broken the buck, once Tether goes to zero so does the real value of BTC on: June 25, 2021, 06:53:35 PM
Tether is a controversial centralized cryptocurrency. We shouldn't measure Bitcoin price only based on how USDT backed by cash only. As you see @bitmover already explained how Tether Limited backed the USDT out of cash. It's an open secret that tether has been controlled by Bitfinex. The sad thing is Tether Limited does not submit a true Audit report about how it has backed. I know if something happens with Tether it will affect Bitcoin price hugely.
3239  Economy / Reputation / Re: MoonCake - probably scam on: June 25, 2021, 06:29:53 PM
Its true project seems suspicious, but based on just plagiarism I can't call them a scam in advance. But posting behavior looks like a scammer. They just copy-paste the bounty thread by a brand new account. Rather than scam accusation, it should consider as plagiarism which would lead to a ban. Once thread creators ban from the forum then they aren't allowed to create any more accounts here. So please report it to the moderator or in meta. Hope the account will get a permanent ban.
3240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: June 24, 2021, 06:29:09 PM
Just be cool men! You are doing the right thing, nothing wrong, or nothing to worry about as well. Sometimes we think we can buy it on the dip and we wait for it. But to be honest, if you wait for a lower dip then you can't buy Bitcoin. When Bitcoin starts dump then you may think oh it would go more down. That's how many times I missed buying Bitcoin. So I won't say you are wrong, many institutional investors have been buying Bitcoin in every dip. Do you think they are a fool? I don't think so at all. Since you already bought and there are no new sounds on your hand, means it's time to test your patience. Just don't be panic, your waiting time start now. If you are a good trader, you might take advantage of the volatility, otherwise, just hold.
