Bookmakers are giving exactly the same odds of a Scottish and Ukrainian win - 2.7... Considering Scotland play at home, Ukraine look the favourites... Also, Ukraine's recent match statistics are better than Scotland's... I dare to guess that Ukraine will beat Scotland again today... Oddly enough, Ukraine plays better during the war...
It's weird though, I really can't pick a side here, both side have similar qualities of players in terms of the lineup that's been up, but the Scottish line up seemed to slightly because of the quite more familiar names of players doing a bit fairer this season, and Che Adams is leading the line. Due to the significance of the match, I'd say this is likely going to end as a goalless draw, or at the most the Scottish taking a marginal win.

Thomas Tuchel is interested in the Bayern Munich coaching job, according to recent reports. A return to management is a goal for Thomas Tuchel, and he is interested in the Bayern job, even if he has to lower his salary to earn less than he earned at Chelsea. The current manager of Bayern Munich will be sacked if Bayern Munich fails to win their upcoming game. His pattern, however, will prevent him from succeeding at Bayern.
I think Thomas Tuchel's style of play was somewhat identical to whatGuardiola often deployed during his time at Bayern Munich, he often plays 3 CBs irrc correct, other than being able to handle the kind of players that'd be at his disposal, I'm not sure he'd have too much of difficulty to thrive there, Bayern Munich have not being in great form and it's due too the players they've lost too, especially Lewandowski who make the games pretty much easier for them. And is Nagelsmann really under threat? I think it would be a mistake letting him go this early. But if they do let him go, he'd make a good replacement for Guardiola whose contract is set to expire next year.
He could be under some real threat especially if there are other problems with the squad, and not just the recent terrible form, but when is the last 3 time Bayern Munich have failed to win any of 4 consecutives matches, with only of those 2 teams being above the middle of the table.

Considering that Bellingham is expected to ask for a move in the winter transfer window, Dortmund have issued a statement regarding his availability - and he'll be allowed to leave for 150 million euros.
That would make him the most expensive Englishman - and 3rd highest transfer overall. Smart move from Borussia, they know they will lose him in the summer so they have put a premium on his price that some clubs might be willing to pay. Not Liverpool though - this is way out of our league.
I understand players being overpriced and all sorts of deals flying around these recent years, but Bellingham isn't worth anywhere near that value, and I don't think any team would be desperate enough to pay that much especially because of his position, if it were to a forward, the chances might be higher but not with him. There are some better playing midfielders out there that'd the teams would give up for less than half that price, and they certainly aren't overhyped.

City and Liverpool knew they had to switch things up and both weirdly enough went for almost opposite evolutions in pure strikers. But while City can attract proven players, Liverpool still, because of style, identity and money, can only go for potentials.
Remember how Nunez started playing at Liverpool, he scored in every match until Haaland was just adapting. Sadly, I do remember. Nunez made his debut in the Community Shield, where we just blasted City out of the sky (as the underdog too, so it was a great start to my betting season). But yeah, sent himself off, coinciding with our injuries, and then our mojo got shaken. City's definitely had the easier going, and Haaland fit the system really well. They've got actual suppliers, we've got defenders expecting to feed crosses to Nunez haha. I think the only difference between both players that surrounds them, Haaland had a decent amount of chances in the Community Shield too, but I guess the pressure were just enormous, while Nunez seem to have slotted right perfectly into the team, the only struggle now is on the overall the team performance not individually player, Nunez would also be doing perfectly right in the current City lineup with a supply line like De Bruyne and the kind of form Cancelo is currently on right now, It's no doubt Haaland is a deadly striker with great strength and positioning instinct, but I'd give much credit to his supply line as well, which is what Nunez tends to be lacking at the moment, but it's just a matter of time, I suppose.

Problem is they don't even need to break the low and still they make mockery of financial fair play. Example transfer between Barca and Juve for Arthur/Pjanić. I didn't get it why they paid full amounts instead of just exchanging players. Answer is of course financial fair play. When you sell player you get whole amount in the account but when you buy the player you are amortising the cost over years of contract. Meaning you sell one player for 100M and buy another for that same 100M and you give him 5 year contract. That makes instant plus of cool 80M on account for other transfers and problem down the yaers for next management But who cares about that. That's why there is the saying that most rules are for the common man, these big guys pay millions of dollars to find loopholes within almost every existence laws, if not why is Curacao about almost the country gambling sites can get their License from ? And then get to operate in other countries to avoid huge taxes and whatnot. Another example is the deal that brought Mbappe to PSG for 180m the same window 220m was splashed on Neymar, on paper it was a loan deal, but even the dumbest guy from FIFA FFP team knows it was a permanent deal in disguise, but they made the rules and if both clubs agrees it's a loan deal with all those mandatory purchase clauses already being included, then there is nothing FIFA can do, right ?

Then if no one is against it, then I propose to award the prize to the winner of the first game week (after the international break). Everyone will have the opportunity to rebuild their team as they like, which means that everyone will be in the same conditions.
This is actually a good suggestion but I'd love to have some luck factor involved in this because raffle is pretty interesting. How about raffleing it up to top 5 by the end of the international break but instead of giving the top 5 equal chance, I'd propose to go with the ticket system. So 1st gets 5 tickets, 2nd gets 4 tickets, 3rd gets 3 tickets, 4th gets 2 and 5th gets 1. Lets have fun with some luck factor there, who knows the 5th place might get it lol . Anyway, Im fine with whatever the consensus came up to at the end I like the idea of rewarding skill and missing with a bit of luck too, that sound fair enough imo too, but as some others have pointed to maximize the importance and keep the league fun until the end, I'd the tickets are issued out at the end of the campaign, regardless of whether it's a month or a week play, anyone can literally play all their chip over the a month period with little or almost no consequences, If are already giving up on the long term, I rather if it were to be as prizes for the winners or raffle tickets of varying numbers it should be for the entirety of the game, that's where everyone gets a fair chance with respect to their skills, each person playing had the intention to play for the prize to begin if those that get to use their chip had certain goals insight. That said, It's the OP's call and I'm down with whatever the call is, because I wasn't even expecting that we'd get to have a say in how they should go about choosing the winner(s)

By the way, I want to inform you that custom cold wallets will be raffle among the pool participants soon. That's really a nice, and I sure as hell would love to have my hands on one of 'em especially due to it being customised, it feels way more like an antique and I find them more valuable imo, even if I have to pay for it. When it comes to luck and raffles, my luck is next to being horrible, so the only way I often believe I might stand a decent chance is if it's for 9/10 of the players, that's why I prefer to compete logically and not depend solely on luck.

Some good discussion going on here so let's make Round #5 a little more interesting and award a 2 mbtc Free Bet to the Yellow Cap winner That's more than an incentive to get me interested in the round, I was already hoping the next ~10 days would rather just go by so pretty fast I'd have made my picks regardless anyways, but I was already having the notion of going rogue with my picks, because I have probably nothing more than being a couple of places from the bottom of the table to lose, and I can expect the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placed users to get more conserved and not chase wild points with wild predictions.

anyone noticed that the user with the GW Rank 1 and 123 pts has made 11 transfers so far and took a massive -40 pts from those transfers? i wonder if i should take some risks too Being aggressive and taking a few calculated risks/hits here and there is alright, but i would never take for inspiration those weekly high scorers. I mean just look at this dude, he has played every available chip and his overall rank is 8mil+, how many more weeks before he quits? If you take out the 40 pts and the bench boost points he actually scored fewer points than you this game week, and you have taken just one hit. Exactly playing the long term game is what makes it rather interesting, but there nothing to play for as the weeks go by it gets even less interesting, I saw you played your wildcard already, I'm sure a of couple would think it's because of the blank week, but I'm sure it's not solely not just about the game week, if it literally was, you'd have definitely had someone from Tottenham, and you didn't end up with just one player from Arsenal by chance for what could have been expected to be an easier game than Manchester United, the week insight just came as an added incentive because how would you get rid of about ~8 players with just 4 transfer(s) singularly over the next few weeks especially if there are position issue like having just one transfer while trying to get Salah for Haaland, without having to take another irrelevant point hit when the player you're bringing in secondly isn't likely to be getting any point because he's likely to be a bench player. If there is some game that'd need multiple players to play as a group, I'd definitely put you at the 1st or 2nd on the list of people I'd choose to play as team with rather than against. anyone noticed that the user with the GW Rank 1 and 123 pts has made 11 transfers so far and took a massive -40 pts from those transfers? i wonder if i should take some risks too
~snip
Wow! I thought I was the one to have taken the most risk with -12 at the moment after Igehhh sacrificed -8 points to better his team. -40 points is just so much except your implying that these changes weren't done on a go else, I doubt it would be worth it. That's almost a whole GW's points and a WC would have served better. Still thinking of when it would be the best time to use my WC although, my team looks better as it is. Talking about risk, loosing -12 points was great risk for me but a risk worth taking aa it earned me the most points in GW7. Webtricks had 72 points, I'd say both of you are smart enough to get enough players from GW7 games on your team. I believe you should use your WC after the international break because looking at your team, you do not stand a chance when the league resumes fully. I missed the deadline, but I wouldn't have changed much to favor only GW7. My current team is a long-term project, and I will only be forced to take risks if there is an injury concern. Webtricks winning the round was just rather coincidental, I strongly doubt he's still checking a team at all, he doesn't even make any transfer and got favored that the blank fixtures was in his favor, he's even already short of the initial 100M budget. @SmartVirus, I'd say if you took a 12 points hit and still didn't win the round and didn't end up with 12 points more than you'd have had if you only did the two free available transfer, then you actually didn't make any progress towards your total point for the end of the game. I'd consider my wildcard to have been a waste if at the end of 6 weeks after using it I don't cumulatively end up as one of the user with the most points over that duration, if that span as been my goal to begin with, I know luck has a part to play, but a calculated risk of probability will likely put you no lower than the middle of the pile, than just a terrible luck would put you at the bottom of the pile.

And just like that we're entering the last two Rounds of this pool. Just checked the full leaderboard and it looks like everyone's still in the race for the top 5 & rewards, that's cool, should make for an entertaining and nail-biting end to our pool (: Now, who do you think is going to get relegated to Group B? England or France? I think both NT are going to get relegated but England will continue their miserable winless run, i just don't see them grabbing the 3 points against Germany or Italy Good thing my betting bank is already low so I will not loose much during international break.
lucky you. The international break arrived right after i made a new deposit lol I have almost forgotten we still have an existing pool for the nations league, I guess that's because of my position in the pool... This has got to be the worse international break I wanted to see, It came at the time where all other competitions is getting really interest and with most of the national teams is just a break and nothing significant to play for, going by how the bookies wrecked bettors over the weekend, it's probably bound to be an extended holiday for them

Anyway, gl with the rest of the matches today everyone, i've a small ticket on Fiorentina and Verona BTTS, six in a row at Artemio Franchi, let's make it seven, shall we...? Even that did not pass today and I was also sure it will. This one plus Arsenal both to score destroyed all my multi tickets. Now trying to salvage something with a late ticket, have both to score on Roma game and Milan game. Hopefully at least something will go according to the plan today but I am not actually expecting a win here. It is just one of those days that destroys our betting bank Maybe buwaytress managed to score big against Juve, he is the only one that sometimes profits on days like this. I literally just had AS Roma and Atalanta ruined a 100 odds parlay for me 💔, all I had on them was over 1.5 goals, but that was too much to ask too, right ? I see it's been such a shitty weekend right from yesterday and the results from the pool also suggests as much, perhaps they players ahead are all wrapped the coming international break. Let's hope AC Milan vs Napoli or Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid would be worth spectating.

I haven't saw such boring game like Barcelona - Elche for very long time. Everything is ok, Barca won easy, but Elche looked like amateur team. They got red card early and parked bus then. It's common thing for underdogs, but I barely can remember games when even biggest underdogs failed to make attempt to make dangerous attack. Can't understand Valencia - one round they destroy Getafe, then lose against Rayo without any questions and now beat Celta so easy. Seems that whole season for them will be full ups and downs Last game before international game between Atletico and Real. I refrain from predictions, but I hope that Real will drop first points. Villarreal - Sevilla should be interesting game too.
I guess Barcelona are very boring to watch mostly on two occasions, one when they're not struggling to win or secondly, if you're not a fan, even when Barcelona are having a stroll in the park against an opponent, I love to see the team dynamics and how they can integrate some other player in the squad, perhaps to playing a different style. but the season so far, Xavi have been playing the same style just a different couple of players in other position, but the approach is still pretty much the same to me. Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid might actually not be overly interesting, due to Atleti's style, but it sure should be a match filled with loads of emotions.

Anyway Jayce is running away with it and establishing himself at the lead early in the season. Good for him, bad for us. Lol. :/
This did not escape my attention Early days but I do not want to slip to more than 25 points behind the leader. You can’t win the pool in September but you can lose it by being too far off the pace too early. The last time some pulling away from the rest on the leaderboard was actually Tokeweed if I recall correctly who led the leaderboard was from the second round or thereabout, and at some point everything everyone else was fight for was 2nd position and the remaining prize positions. as it stands now, Jayce holds 7 point lead advantage over 2nd place, but the difference between the 2nd place and 14th position is just 7.5 points

De Bruyne is already paying high dividends to all the managers who trusted him enough to bring him for Salah, who wouldn't trust him enough though ? He's racked two assists to his name already, and might also pick a bonus point or two.
I brought him in this GW to replace Salah lol. I probably wouldnt have if Liverpool wasnt postponed but I dont think Im switching back to Salah for a while . Got him and Haaland on my team, I guess they are going to keep on getting decent amount of points as long as City scores then I guess either one of them are going to be involved in it You might have eventually to knowing how conservative Guardiola has been with De Bruyne, I know when he's on the pitch he makes the job generally easier for City and he's a threat from every aspect of the from set pieces to open play or even taking the scoring matter up for himself, but the fact that Salah will always be on the pitch unless injured is the kind of reassurance one would have to pick as a manager if there is the need to settle for just one of them.

I have triple Spurs for this GW and all i want is: Kane hattrick, two assists and a goal from Kulu, plus an assist from Emerson and why not a goal too and obviously a clean sheet. Very doable if you ask me lol
If you ask me Kulu not playing, Son finally getting some returns and no chance of clean sheet. Leicester is terrible when defending but they know how to score a goal or two. My main tip for today is both to score in this game. Kane hattrick is very possible and I am quite afraid he will ruin my game week since I don't have him. Took Son to try and cover for him as I said earlier but that is despair. Let me take a guess, you're having more than just a great day, Son with a hattrick, Kane with a goal and assist to his name too, without considering the bonus points that'd likely be coming for them too, damn! It will take me shit load of weeks to be able to make up for this difference, that's if I'll be able to catch up New FPL Tip: If you're having a player on team that's playing against Leicester City, hand him the Captain band!

Hey Betnomi pool guys. Just want to share my good fortune, but one I didn't take full advantage of. You know, so those of you disappointed can get distracted by non-pool me Over 2 weeks ago, didn't like how Bayern was looking, and put a very early bet on Augsburg. 11/1. Couple of days ago, still didn't like them despite winning against a better team in UCL, bet half of the original stake again at 14/1. What's strange is I was the only one betting this market (pretty rare for me to see that) on Fairlay. Only problem? I bet pretty small. Still, happy. Go Freiburg and Union Berlin! Nice, nice! you sure do know how to savage these upsets, It's at least comforting to know that someone is getting our money back from the bookies. Man i still cant believe, in all the pools and all the leagues we are having so much irregularity, the big the middle and the small teams are in that path.
Its quite difficult to predict the output of the games. They dont respect HOME/AWAY, table position we have no clues about what can pass in the rounds.
It really is a strange pool indeed, Augsburg with 2 consecutive wins, if that isn't strange enough, It said to be the first time in 87 games dated back as far as 2020 since Bayern Munich have failed to score in a Bundesliga game. Dortmund with a very late winner, but still wasn't enough to keep my betslip alive after the shenanigans from Bayern Munich. It's game over this weekend for me, except of course If I'm able to get something off handball.

Now I understand why there has been so little transfers this GW. Judging by the percentage of people that missed deadline here and we are playing for money, no wonder others forgot about it as well How is it possible that Fulham scores 3 goals and both Mitrović and Pereira get 0 attacking returns? Pereira had a great free kick but Henderson decided to keep that one out. I guess that's what week without EPL does to us, and a Friday evening fixture too was another reason why most people forgot. De Bruyne is already paying high dividends to all the managers who trusted him enough to bring him for Salah, who wouldn't trust him enough though ? He's racked two assists to his name already, and might also pick a bonus point or two.

omg, mainz saves in the 90+4 minute a 1-1 against hertha bsc berlin and who is the only one who predicts this result - of course Trofo congrats for the first 4 points in this round Made the prediction literally in the last possible minute Forgot making them on time and then I just came home in the last minutes and managed to put the prediction in. Still don't have app on the phone and that throws me a bit since I am making predictions for all other pools on mobile. @jayce Rightful order has been restored. Time for safety car You were indeed lucky with your pick on the draw, although both teams have scored similar amount of goals and conceded almost the same amount of goals so far, but it's quite a surprise that except for Trofo, none one from the pool went with a Draw, let alone a win for Hertha Berlin. Nice one there, those 4 points are the best way to kickoff the game, the fixture for today looks pretty easier to pick a side, but it's just about being able to get a couple of 4 points to make it much easier to stand a chance for the week.
