3221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 03, 2017, 01:21:36 PM

I think we all love this gif: this is one of my favorites!
Today I've secured some more BTC in cold storage because I feel that we are not done with the recent fireworks and I don't want to move my coins around these days.
3222  Economy / Services / Re: ♠ BETCOIN.AG ♠ Signature Campaign - High Pay - Monthly Payments - Bonuses ♠ on: January 02, 2017, 02:46:35 PM
My best wishes for this 2017 for everyone here at betcoin!
I would like to confirm that I correctly received my monthly payment on time.
Thanks

This matter has always been something I can hardly understand. Imagine we could be able to trade in BTC only (i.e. never exchange them for fiat money) what will be my position then?
Bitcoin goes beyond any regulation we can think of and until that's not clear my coins will never be exchanged. Also because they have a huge intrinsic value to me.
3224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 02, 2017, 02:31:40 PM
Full-time: Middlesbrough 0-0 Leicester. Not a good game to watch if you ask me.
I've just decided the following parlay for this Monday Premiership Day: odds are pretty good to have a very nice profit on directbet!
West Ham - Manchester United Both teams to score
Everton - Southampton Draw
Manchester City - Burnley City
Sunderland - Liverpool Liverpool
West Bromwich - Hull City WBA
3225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's talk about poker! on: January 02, 2017, 02:26:13 PM
I played poker on Betcoin the other day. Together with betting on sports, poker is my favorite gambling game. The only thing I don't like about online poker is not being able to see others while playing: it makes so much difference to understand how our opponents behave. In online poker is harder to get the picture of our fellow players but usually during a long game is quite easy to understand how they play.

How does it feel like?
I still don't believe it  Cheesy I'm holding onto my dreams now. Thank you Satoshi.
3227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: January 02, 2017, 02:19:30 PM
I didn't feel like keeping my BTC on these sites and therefore I divested all of them. BTC is rallying hard and I need to be in control of my pvt keys.
Trust is essential with such investments: I was happy to exit with 7% profit. That's fine by me, but now is time to be on top of my coins.
3228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Manipulation finished. Bubble popping. on: December 29, 2016, 04:13:27 PM
I'm going to let yourself reply to yourself

bitcoin price now topping 750...doubt it'll drop any time soon Smiley

But then again...I've wasted so much selling the past few weeks...wouldn't mind a nice big dip to buy in again (and sell all these crappy alts when they rise as a result)

Maybe look at the charts... it's comming down rapidly.

Price went up

In the second round, which is expected in mid-February, we'll distribute 62.5 MB for each 1 BTC of linked balance and 0.1 new byte for each 1 byte received in the first round.

Here is a question about the second distribution phase: what if I change my Byteball address? Do I lose my 0.1 new byte per 1 byte received in the first round?

If you didn't remove your wallet, you still have the old BB address (but your receiving BB address constantly changes, same as in Bitcoin wallets).  If you have a new wallet, you'll have to link again.  I'll announce all the details when we start the linking phase for the 2nd round.

I see. Thanks tonych: I should have been more clear though. Fine that I'll keep this wallet but what about balances? What if my previously linked addy is empty: will I receive my share?
Whatever your answer please add it to OP since many will probably have similar questions. Keep it up!

I'll be in Liverpool to watch what I believe it could be one of the most interesting games of this premiership season. I've placed a bet that hopefully will repay my very expensive ticket. I love football, I am not a Liverpool supporter but I do believe this is going to be an excellent game
3231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: December 29, 2016, 03:57:21 PM
Considering the recent pumps this has probably been the most profitable investment ever seen so far in the gambling world. When a good portfolio management meets some nice luck results are golden!

I had to take some days off from Bitcoin! Got caught in the rollercoaster! But here I am once again waiting for the 4 digits. I saw the worst of times and held hard against all odds. Time to fight again.
As cleverly suggested Suit Up Boys!
Suit up !

Cryptox.pl has started, all users get GBYTE according to their BTC balance at snapshot time in full 100%.
We've decided to pay in full, as there wasn't rush with BTC depos.
To get GBYTE, go to My account->BMCodes and click Use.

This is not clear: are you giving away GBYTE to users? Anyway I don't see any "use" button to click there in BMCodes.
Can you please clarify? thanks

A little bit late this week but it is the festive season Smiley

We have now made over 1 Bitcoin in profit in less than 5 months from our Bitcoin Gambling Investment. Or our $3,000 US investment is now worth $5,528!

That's a very good profit there. Something you could never make with "normal" investments. The risk you take makes the profit you earn since you realy on third-party platforms. But considering your result this is a big well done!
3236  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-26] Is the Blockchain Rush a Search for Fool’s Gold? on: December 27, 2016, 02:03:47 PM
To be honest I always wondered if there was a secret motive of bitcoin and mining.  Something along the lines of password or code cracking.
With all those high powered devices running 24/7 who know. It could be possibly to make a small bunch of miners and set them up to crack passwords or codes,  A world wide net of machines would be the equivalent to a super computer!

But that's just my "paranoid" view on the world coming from a security background where "everything is out to get you"

 Roll Eyes
Interesting: the Bitcoin computational network could be used for basically destroying and dismantling any other network. Thing is the protocol is very strict and it works only for mining bitcoin. It would be really hard to change that though. Don't worry

Greenspan is an idiot. He created the housing bubble, and encouraged the 2000's IPO-a-thon that crushed itself. I wouldn't trust that man to predict the weather, much less interest rates. He's a useful idiot though, promoting failed policies over and over like they're some kind of "new" idea.

I totally agree on this! An useful idiot like so many others who let the financial crisis become worse day after day, year after year. To me it's no surprise that Satoshi came up with Bitcoin straight after the economic collapse in 2008

And you will see green growing everywhere: whatever market you will look at, that will be green. EUR, CNY, CAD, USD, GBP, CHF ....
Paving the way for $1000
Buckle up
3239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I bet you have never lost more than this !!! on: December 27, 2016, 01:49:22 PM
Why everybody bother so much? That guy who is playing and risking all that money is not the first and will not be the last. Everybody plays according to their own potential. He probably seems to have nothing to lose and therefore does not care about losing all that stake.
Is discussing called as bothering ?
I mean if we are discussing sitting in India that hey Trump has won the elections in the United States does it mans that we are bothered ?

Not at all ! Its just that to every action in the universe we would have a reaction and complete right to express it.

Anyways those losses are extremely brutal and if they are real (which I believe since NS is a reputed company ) then the person must be very upset for sure.

Whoever bet on those games and with those large amounts simply does not care to lose that much and I believe is also richer than us.
What makes me wonder is why people consider strange that someone could bet so much money. As someone already said there's a simple rule: bet big, win big.
Everything is relative.

I'm glad to read these articles. All I am listening is :"Please, give us a blockchian, but we don't want bitcoin!" What the heck?
Maybe there will be something useful under tha name of blockchain in the future but today, like it or not, the only thing that works is a native digital asset like bitcoin and its own history (blockchain)
