Start again, I don't mind waiting a few more days.
Just issue the new coins to the address database.
Now that's "FAIR"
|
|
|
We need poll
A poll would be "fair".
|
|
|
Either we use the address databases, or we go back to submitting more tokens, that would be fair.
We can't carry on with just 35K, what about the people who submitted their tokens after? that's not fair, this coin supposed to be fair.

Guys, we have a problem.
After sending out to about 35k, our wallet file became corrupted. we're trying to recover the keys, but it's both encrypted and corrupted and at this point we have no idea how to recover them, if they are even there (the keys might not even be there, if the client only flushed a part of the file) If anybody can help out with that, please do so.
As of right now, the first ~35k addresses (we'll check the exact number soon) have been sent to, and we can't access the remaining coins so, this is bacially the same as having distributed to only 35k addresses instead of 50k and the coin is still Fair, just not the exact way we intended.
We're happy to move forward if we have your support, trying to push it into exchanges, gambling sites, stores etc. if not, we'll scrap the project and try again with lessons learned.
we also have the option of creating another coin and using the faircoin addresses database to distribute the new coin
what do you say?
Faircoin Team
That right there has just ruined the coin, please tell me you can fix this? We are going to have to start over again, use the address databases or just get everyone to submit more tokens. You can't go on with 35K addresses that is not fair. It will just kill this coin. What does everyone else think?

Has distribution finished? I used the same address for all my tokens,I received 5 payments so far, I was expecting about 12?
|
|
|
I just received my last stake which was claimed at around 48000th. Seems like distribution has finished or about to be.
That can't be right, I started at about 20k, all the way upto 40K and I've only received 5 payments, hmm...may be I am forgetting the actual number. I hope so, you got me worried a little there, as I submitted 12+ tokens.

It's good thing that the coin is stable for now. Nobody wants to use a currency which will increase 10x fold and go back 5x the other day. I know, a lot of people want to minimize their losses, but there's nothing wrong with stable growth, if you are serious about the coin.
I would like it to stabilize a bit more closer to the price I bought in at ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif)

JOIN US ON CRYTPSY INSTEAD!!!! MINTPAL SELL WALLS ARE TOO BIG JOIN THE RESISTANCE!!!!!
Wat does it mean "Walls are too big"? (sorry, i´m new here) Each exchange is its own world, in a sense. What he was saying is, there were people on Mintpal selling large chunks of MZC, blocking upward movement. Stacks of BTC pushing the chart one way or another are commonly called "walls", though the name can be a bit misleading - as one of the primary ways people move the price up or down is by pushing those walls along with the movement, constantly adjusting their position. This poster was mounting buy support on Cryptsy and was urging someone to avoid Mintpal since there was less resistance on Cryptsy. And what is the reason that they blocking upward movement? So they can buy at a lower price, in anticipation of a rise (natural or otherwise). wrong, it's because there are too many coins being minted. 2.4 billion by the time it's finished. We're talking about the deliberate small increment bids and asks, not the natural effect of miners with autosell turned on dumping into the market. And lets not forget that 2.4 billion is a long long way out...right now it's ~121 million. It's gone up 20 mil the last few days ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif)

But this is also stagnating progress of the coin? Or is this just a good thing that they do this. I would say it is a bad thing for bag holders, as more mine and sell the price will stay roughly the same, unless there is a lot of media attention, then the new buyers will come.

Please read through the thread. They are likely scammers. I've read their posts here but I wanna try to make some exchange with them. They want to proof that they arent' scammers and i'm here to see if this is true. I'm on the fence with this exchange? If you do use them, start off small. Most scammers, let the first few transactions go through, and wait till a large transaction goes through, then they sting you.
