poloniex is the biggest than it come to kraken, poloniex is good but i hear there are fake volume there, i prefer to trade on bittrex most of the time, otherwise you have other good option like c-cex or cryptopia |

I'm new here!
Would like to know, is there any Guides available on how to invest in particular cryptocurrencies?
Everything I was using before was coinbase with bitcoins and eth and it was easy to use. Just purchase from CC and store it there.
I want to invest some money in WAVES & Ripple now but I really have no clue where to start and how to do it.
I want to invest for the longer term, let's say 1 year and see where it goes.
I registered at bittrex.com . Is it the right place where to start?
Any guide on how to buying, storing would be appreciated.
what i do to invest with minimal risk, is following the ann constantly, see if the dev is active, invest in good coin with enough volume, not died one, also check if there are good features, not coin with promise but then nothign come, roadmap is essential in any project with long term investment, bittrex is good yes, you can store all coins there, i feel safe on bittrex it was never hacked, just remember to use 2fa |

nvidia can dual mine remember that clymore released the ETH+ algo like decred sia and pascal for nvidia too, and it's quite profitable, almost on par with amd, amd is just better on ETH and has an edge there, personally i don't dual mine either, because with nvidia we have better option but it's still profitable for us |

not all coins are fake, monero is 100% not fake, all the strongest coins are safe to invest, don't invest in very small coins with no volume or shady dev, but from tiem to time some good unknown low volume coins can get big and become top 20 in the coinmarketcap, invest more wisely next time don't go blindly or following the rumors |

it depend, with cpu you can mine in a pool, with gpu there are no pool, you need to mine in solo, if you don't know how to do, i can tell you it's easy, just need a config file in the roaming with rpcuser, rpcpassword, rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 and server=1 |

i also don't think so, ethereum is half of bitcoin because bitcoin is very high, if not ethereum was still behind the corner crying with 0.01 value in bitcoin BTC will likely be replaced. One of the more secure and untraceable coins with faster block times will be the BTC killer.
untraceability isn't what people want, poeple only want less fee with bitcoin and you have a perfect coin with that, no need anonymous masternode or other scam stuff like that, and for your information fully anonymous is danger, you can't have the chance to tell if they sent or not |

If you're watching the price of bitcoin at the moment then you should neither gamble or invest atm. Just keep hold of your coins & ride this train to $5000 per bitcoin  but if you really think that bitcoin will go to $5000 why not invest more money into bitcoin?ì investing now it's the wise decision gambling is not, i only gamble when i win money or get them for free, otherwise i prefer to invest in altcoin or bitcoin or mining, either one of these are very remunerative in the long run, but i admit that gambling can be remunerative in the short term if you are really lucky, my advice is to gamble 10% if you can afford to lose those money and keep the other for big investment |

Bitcoin is the most successful crytocurrency because of adoption and not because it is inherently better than other altcoins. There are several altcoins that are more advanced than bitcoin. Altcoin success is defined and measured by user adoption. its only with a large user base that an altcoin can show its true potential, otherwise its just a useless piece of technology.
you think they are better but in fact if they were really better they would have already gotten big in the past 8 years. do you really think bitcoin was the first? there were other altcoins around when bitcoin came out, and it crushed all of them because it was decentralized, had a good distribution plan and was secure because giant security experts had checked the code. all the altcoins you find these days are either premined obviously or premined in a hidden way so they don't have a fair distribution. when someone controls over 70% of the supply of an altcoin, that altcoin can never succeed. and that is because of the decentralization and security that i mentioned above. with bitcoin everything has always been transparent from day one. you could mine the first blocks and get the reward like anybody else. the coins satoshi and Hal mined are still there and have not moved all these years. but you can't say the same thing about most altcoins. bitcoin was indeed the first, unless you think that gold reserve or other centralized currency that were shut down by the government have somethign to do with bitcoin, which is not true!, but litecoin was not the second that is something that people think and it's wrong, bitcoin also started with 70% of supply or even more in the hands of few people, but it got distributed as the time pass and now we have a better distrubution and better value, but it took many years, from 2009 to 2017, all other altcoin are younger than bitcoin this is a big difference |

ETH is the best example you can get, strong market huge volume, big comunity, this is a coin that will not die anymore, the marketcap is so huge that it's impossible to kill anymore, and ithink that any other top 10 is very hard to kill, any altcoin like that is a success for me, but a real success is when you can use that altcoin to shop other than trade an altcoin is like bitcoin in this aspect

I think following will be there
1) Ripple / because of its application in banking use
2) Ether / because its smart contracts and scripting functionality
3) Dash / Instant send and private send
if bitcoin bring more money in this game, many altcoin will survive, all the altcoin are dependent of bitcoin, if bitcoin survive, all the altcoin will go much higher than today, but some are clearly a scam and shoudl be avoided, the scam will die quickly, the other giant will live for decades, and you forget ZCASH, which is big and a stable coin |

zcash have a reason to be the next big thing, also lbry both are very undervalued imho, monero is a good target but zcash is currently pumped like nothing else, if they can do another 2x pump it can touch 1 billion marketcap Zcash is going to be big, that is for sure, but they won't be the only ones multiplying their market cap. There are a lot of good coins and projects these days from among all the shitty scam coins. Look for Iconomi, Monero, Waves, and Ethereum is still going crazy. I believe at the end of this year we are going to see 1 billion market cap only to enter top 10. ETHEREUM is already big, we are talking about the nex billions coin, eth is already billionaire, monero is the second choice i have said that, iconomi or any other 100% ico, will not reach billion in the marketcap, they are simply too scmamy to be taken seriously |

When more people use the blockchain directly (with their own +130GB copy on their computer), Bitcoin is more resilient and secure, and hence more valuable.
are you saying that we should avoid using prune? or maybe i misunderstand, because for now i really can't run 130gb of data that keep getting bigger each year by 50gb, you need a 1 tera ssd and they cost a lot for normal people, HDD are not an option they are too slower for other task like gaming, i don't like them anymore |

conventional money are more slower than bitcoin for some transaction like when you send to another country your money, go check the time you need, it's huge, bitcoin is faster just pay the correct fee Based on my opinion I think no because the bitcoin is not is the same level bitcoin is like a product online or can we just say that the uniqueness of it the limited supply of it and making in currency is very special so I think that the bitcoin cannot replace by a conventional money only because bitcoin is very unique and in the different level.
Conventional currency won't be easily or in a short will never be replaced by bitcoin because of the uniqueness it has got. As an online asset the value of bitcoin has made it more popular and usage. Only the technical aspirants really understand the real value of bitcoin, others just know it as an investment similar to the forex or shares. Conventional currency will stay and as well as bitcoin, even after a lot of years of waiting for bitcoin to replace it. It won't happen, the government is one of the most powerful organization in the world and people there will not allow bitcoin to replace their asset. So the only option of bitcoin is, to cooperate or be banned by the government officials. Agreed, cash represents the power of the government, thanks to which they can manage a nation's economy, cash is legal, so it will never be replaced. whata bout those countries that are accepting bitcoin legally like it's a side way currency? they is it as a legal currency, maybe in those countries bitcoin will, one day, replace their currency? who know, it's a possibility |

nexus will be the next one when it get listed there, they are planning to do so after the release of the new wallet, stay tuned for an aweosme pump to 100k satoshi at least, but i don't like poloniex too much there are many fake walls and manipulation, with their bot, some coin get pumped to crazy value out of no where, and it's like everything seems rigged

Sia will be King of datastorage on blockchain. Soon you will be surprised with huge mega partnerships and the marketcap will grow into the billions of dollars.
Invest and expect profits of 10x - 100x on longterm.
Hopefully they will develop on integration with Bitcoin and Ethereum networks.
