3221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain development vs bitcoin on: November 29, 2016, 07:36:13 PM
i am a frequent reader of discussion here seldom post. I simply keep buying bitcoin weekly no matter the price, not into trading, feel the price is still very low compared to future possibility and feel it is a good investment.

now that is out of the way, what will the effect of blockchain technology be on the value of bitcoin? Every couple days it appears some new corporation appears to be exploring, developing, or integrating blockchain technology. Will this cause a decrease in need for Bitcoin and deem it useless in the years to come? thoughts?
we firstly has to see bitcoin as a currency and like other currencies such as dollars, gpb, ucad.and other countries currency. Crypto currency are money in there on classes' and one's cannot decreases the demand of another.

Professional trader know the methodology of trading. Most skillful trader  didn't trade with emotion they have their predetermined exist plan and have good trading plans.

but for me, i think not all skillful trader didn't trade with emotion, i think its because the trader itself should have many experience when they do trading and this will give impact for them. the more experience they have, they can control their self when they do trading and its really important for us especially for me, to control myself to avoid the greediness.
Emotions is really a big problem with doing trades because it will affect you psychologically and if this will happen to you, you could not able to decide properly and might be derailed on your listed plans or methods that you should do thats why its really hard when you let your emotions overcome you when you are in the middle of a trade.
you have said it all. Emotion is the major reasons many inexperienced traders loss in trade and you should also know that its still the same reason experience trader make alot of money from trading. You should know that five percent of trader make the money of the loss of the remaining of ninety five percent.

3226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: November 27, 2016, 08:09:36 PM
Hi,

I'd like to know what do you think is a good strategy when BTC price shoots up and you feel it's going to come down again.
- hold on to your Bitcoin?
- Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again cheaper?
- Sell it for other crypto (in this case which would you choose)?
The best way to make money from bitcoin is magin trading I.e where you make money either market goes up or down. If bitcoin rises up what I will do is to sell it against usd or other asset.

Actually i dont have any idea on any money management or any skills regarding on forex trading hence im just strating to learn up new things about it  thats why its really good to hear someone on this forum expressing about this matter and its a rare thing that a trader post here. Smiley Trading forex is not an easy thing as many others said here and only a few does really survive on it.
No there are a lot of traders consistently do posting here. Money management is a common technique across any trading platform, but I do understand that you are seeing it only with respect to Forex trading.

Unlike technical analysis part, money management will be possible for a trader only by practice. Being conscious with our capital and the risk level are few of aspects would be covered under money management techniques.
Technical analysis or fundamental analysis are two way or two of the many way of analyzing the forex market. In my view forex trading techniques is more important than market analysis. If you developed your skills in forex trading you will understand that trading forex has techniques and one of those techniques that can help you is money management techniques.

My own strategy for now is to select a coin with high trade volume, observe the price trend for a while.
Then buy at around the 24hr price, sell at around the 24hr high price.
Profit might not be much but it's better than nothing.
this strategy is good for coin trading because market movement is most determined by volume, technological development, big companies accept bitcoin or other coins as a mode of payment and emotions. Forex market movement is basically on three big issues: Fundamental and technical analysis, sentimental and emotional issues. I believe though trading an assets are all the same but the trading skills needed differs.

I have been trading forex for the past 8years, my experience is that; money management is best principles trader has to learn I mean a must learn if he what to succeed in trading. Money management principle make me see forex trading as a business and not gambling or lottery. More so money management in trading take fears and emotions out of trading. My question is  what are your best strategies of forex trading.

3233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Money Management Principle in bitcoin and altcoin Trading on: November 24, 2016, 07:05:43 AM
Money management in trading is kind of technique that will ensure your long run within trading.

Your trading volume and stop-loss levels should be chosen in a ratio based on your trading capital amount.

For example : A trade call which comes with more risk and not suitable for your capital amount then you must avoid that call without trading. That is money management.

That's unfair. When you feel yourself risky or not suitable for profiting just avoiding the trade call is not money management. You make necessary arrangements to grab the profit, though you know its risky is the true money management. Only then growth happens as well high volume trades keeps moving
No, money management will not help you to find out the opportunities for earning in trading but it will help you to prevent losses.

The strategies only will find out the opportunities of earning and how secure you will be is guaranteed by your money management tactics. But different trader will have the different opinion about money management, but definitely it has nothing to do with your profits/predictions.
I believe many people here don't know the principle of money management in forex trading. Money management is not about making profit rather is managing of risk in trading. We all know that predicting market movement direction is hard so money management help you to manage the risk of wrong or bad trade.
3234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginning with bitcoin trading on: November 24, 2016, 06:54:11 AM
The bitcoin market can be analyzed in the same way as the traditional markets. Most of the times, especially in quiet periods, it behaves the same way (probably due to bots using the same algorithms).

You can try to apply your analysis for a while with a hypothetical investment and see how you do to know if it can work for you.

Correct, and I like to add that I discovered that most volatility in crypto currency happens when China Stock Exchange is open.

Yes, but Bitcoin market is still very little, so even one good news (or bad news) can change price in few hours by several percent. That's why trading Bitcoin still is high risk, even for experienced traders. For Newbies (in my opinion) it is just simply lottery Smiley

its true, but the changing price is not directly happen like what in forex. beside that, bitcoin is not depending with news in out side, maybe just a little and if we make analysis, make sure we know what is going on with the markets before we decide to buy bitcoin.
to me bitcoin is more predictable compare to other financial assets. Basically in bitcoin most times support and resistance will always work for swing trader, is not the same for forex. Many data both political and economic flow in forex market 24 hour this change the market direct but in bitcoin those data are limited.

3236  Other / Beginners & Help / Beginning with bitcoin trading on: November 23, 2016, 05:29:02 PM
I have been studying bitcoin price movements for some time now, it seen market movement is different from that of forex. Like in forex fundamental analysis drive the price of currency, technical analysis proved little help. But in bitcoin market is mostly move by big companies adopting bitcoin and emotions.
3237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Money Management Principle in bitcoin and altcoin Trading on: November 22, 2016, 04:25:48 PM
money management is the way you spend your expenses and how you budgeting your money in investment, but if you have a skill and experience money management is not too important, when you know you will earn big profit you don't need to hold back your money, but if you are still training and still in the middle of training or you don't sure about the trading result then you need to learn how to manage your money, how much you can spend your money in one time trading
from my experience in trading for about 8 years, market movement is almost unpredictable. Most time there are many fundamental issue even technical issues that changes market detection.
3238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the you think is the best Crypto currency trading site? on: November 22, 2016, 11:06:30 AM
Google should answer your question. But my advice to you is to do your internal research very well. Most of the site for trading bitcoin are good except some hidden charges that you don't expect, and another thing you should know about trading is ' currency trading is very risky as there are may technical and fundamental issues affecting the market. For now I advice you to trade with either bitstamp or cex.io

As a newbie to trading, the first thing you should desire about trading is to find out from expert the technical and fundamental issue or analysis of the trading. Although trading bitcoin, altcoin or forex entails alot of risk those who lean the trading skill and money management really make it.
