Go to your Myetherwallet click on "Add Custom Token" button. Fill in all the fields: Put 0xd4c435f5b09f855c3317c8524cb1f586e42795fa in the "Address", "CND" in the "Token Symbol" and "18" in the decimals field. Then click on "Save" button. Thank you very much. Haha, yeah when I saw Bitcoin Gold I was pretty sure this is gonna be a dump-quick-make-some profit scheme and nothing more. Just trying to jump on the bitcoin-fork hype-train relativly early. Well, what I read so far has supported my initial resonse. Almost no content, some (probably empty) promises and a lot of FUD. Their only selling point is GPU-mining. However there isn't even a github with content available and BTX does that successfully for months now. lol btw: Bitcore (BTX) isn't really a fork, it's a new project (however already running stable since April). As a BTC holder you can however get free BTX without exposing your private key! Just signing a message, similar to Byteball. It is 150Mbytes right now, not ~200Mbytes  This comparision is cool, until you add the line for marcet cap. but lets hope it will increase:) Well, I like to see that from an other perspective... if I look at LTC, ETH, Dash etc. I see a market cap with not much potential to grow in relation to BTC. BTX however has a huge potential to increase in value. |

my goal is to generate a seed for Elctrum that contains a private key that is already known. You'll need a brute-force attack. With 2048 possible words, and 12 words in total, that gives roughly 5*10 39 possibilities. You won't find it. As far as I know, having 1 derived private key doesn't help you find back the word seed, it wouldn't be as secure if that would be possible. Alright, thanks guys. The reason I was asking: I have a physical bitcoin I would like to use as cold storage and it would be nice to memorize the priv key. However i realised it would be probably much easier to just momorize the seed such as used for Electrum. |

Hello my dear crypto-art enthusiasts, I am very happy to announce a few updates: - after investigating further and having a great talk to one of the leading printing technichians at my manufacturer I am pretty certain the final prints will be higher contrast. - the next test print is scheduled to arrive next Tuesday (again 0000), I have put all others on-hold until then to ensure the highest quality result for the end product. (I will then have to destroy the old 0000 print, will be a great test to see how sturdy this material really is - video incoming) - regarding longevity of the product: These prints can be put in the rain and direct sun and will not suffer from any loss of colour or contrast. That's what the technician promised.  - if BTC price at Oct 31. is at $6k+ I will drop costs to 0.205 BTC and if it is at $7k+ I will drop prices to 0.19 BTC - if you have paid already you will get a refund accordingly. |

No, you only need to have your private keys when the next snapshot is taken on 30th of Oct. There is no wallet to hold both coins. Some day greater wallets like Ledger and Trezor etc. might support BTX, it's a very long way to go however. Yes, IF you hold BTC during the snapshot date.
