National Bank of Nepal Deems Bitcoin Exchange Operations “Illegal,” While the CIB Police Force Arrest Seven Exchange Operators

Source :- https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-illegal-in-nepal-police-arrest-seven-individuals-for-trading-operations/
This was a very sad news not only for the countrymen of Nepal but also to us because there are people who pulling down bitcoin again. Nepalese also have the right to earn money, if the way they found is through the use of bitcoins then there's nothing wrong with that because that's a decent job.

And for those seven exchange operators, I think that it's unjustifiable for them to get arrested, they should be warned first.
3242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: October 08, 2017, 11:48:06 AM
Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

https://futurism.com/schools-accepting-bitcoin-tuition/

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.
That's a great news! Switzerland is now starting to fully accept bitcoins. In my country, although many of us are engaging with bitcoins yet we still convert it first to our currency for us to use in payments unlike other countries (like Switzerland) that can directly use it to pay. I hope this kind of system will be implemented here in the near future so that I can pay easily the tuition fees of my future children. Smiley
3243  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: October 08, 2017, 02:32:20 AM
After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?

Well for me, the right time to buy bitcoins is when the news about China's ban spread in the bitcoin community. Due to that very bad news, the value of bitcoin suddenly dropped down that time and I think that's the right time to buy btc because it becomes cheaper (actually I planned to buy btc that time if I ever have the right amount of money but unfortunately I haven't).

Since bitcoin already overcome that very bad news, it's recovering now. If I were you, buy bitcoins now because it becomes more expensive as time goes by. Or you can wait again for the big drop of bitcoin (I hope it will not happen).
3244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin will become the main coin, what will happen to the money we are using on: October 08, 2017, 01:39:31 AM
i wonder: if Bitcoin will become the main coin, what will happen to the money we are using now like us dollar?
If it happens, Bitcoin will become our international currency that is accepted by differrent nations. Maybe fiat money will not vanished at an instant but I think their values will drop continuosly until it becomes valueless and left Bitcoin as the only existing currency.

But I tell you honestly that assuming Bitcoin will become our main coin is very impossible to happen because this will definitely not allow by the government.
3245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: October 07, 2017, 03:13:00 PM
My journey started on Sep 21, from Boston to NYC, flight to Egypt then Turkey, back to Boston! Carrying $100 just in case and 3 bitcoins in my wallet!

Fuck If I will ever carry credit card, or cash any more:

1- I used Localbitcoins for cash! Search for best local currency rate!
2- How much I save from credit card fees and Fiat exchanges: $305.
3- Is it save to deal with Localbitcoins in person overseas? Yes, so amazing nice guys, you are making friends Smiley

You should try it! & $100 stayed with me! and I spent less than 1.9 btc in both countries!!!

That's a great news, because bitcoin is now getting popular little by little and can now even use in many applications like travelling. You prove to the world that bitcoin is all you need because of its versatility.

You're so lucky because you found a place where bitcoins are accepted.  I hope bitcoins can be widely used here in my country

3247  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: October 07, 2017, 07:59:46 AM
Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on.

What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? Smiley
My way of spreading informations about bitcoins is through communicating with my classmates who are bitcoin earners also. We always exchange infos and opinions about the latest trend in bitcoin community then when our other classmates heard about bitcoins, they tend to ask us and of course we answer them and give a little introduction about it.

I also use these forum to spread knowledge by answering questions or giving an advice and opinion to others especially those beginners.
3248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 07, 2017, 03:37:29 AM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
Definitely! You should not convert all of your money in bitcoin because of two main reasons, it's not yet legal and it's unpredictable. If you still insist to turn your cash into bitcoin, there's a chance that your money will suddenly fade away when it comes the time that bitcoins are banned (I hope it will not come Smiley ). Another thing, because of its unpredictable exchange rates, there's a chance that you will lose money and you might face bunkraptcy when you are not good in handling bitcoins.

My advice for you is you should only get a partial of your fiat money and use this to make profits through bitcoin. Smiley
3249  Other / Meta / Re: Why my posts are decreasing? on: October 07, 2017, 01:04:47 AM
Ahh.. Now I know, thanks for the information Smiley I feel relieved somehow even though my posts drops again by one. Sad
3250  Other / Meta / Why my posts are decreasing? on: October 06, 2017, 10:48:50 AM
Before, the total number of my posts are 99, then one day, I was shocked when it drops down to 94. After that, I just ignored it because I mind that it is only an error in the system but few hours ago it drops again by 3 (so my current posts is now only 91). I's very alarming because I don't know why this is happening. Although this is small counts of post only, it still matter to me.

I hope someone can help me regarding this.
3251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: October 04, 2017, 01:20:00 PM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.
This topic is not new to me, I discovered bitcoins because of this. Honestly, I found what bitcoins are when the time that I always read and research about deepweb because I once aspire to dive in the deepweb like others do but I hesitate because my identity is at risk.

I found out that bitcoins are used as payment to buy illegal drugs in Silk Road (thanks God it was already shut down). Every time I remember that there are persons who use bitcoins in wrong doings, I feel bad also. We should stop this.
3252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost around 5BTC in 2013... Time to start again on: October 03, 2017, 10:12:49 PM
So back in 2012 / 2013 I was quite involved with the Crypto scene, and invested in a mining rig (good old days!) After around a year or so, I managed to mine LTC, trade BTC etc and had somewhere in the region of 5BTC. As the prices all started to plummet, I turned the rig to a desktop computer and stupidly left all of my coins in Cryptsy. Easily done for someone who understood the basic fundamentals of the Crypto world, but not all of the security to go with it.

I managed to recover about 0.2BTC from old wallets etc, and although kicking myself that I could have a life changing amount of money, I've come to a conclusion that I just need to build a bridge and start again!

My question to you all is have you ever experienced anything like this? How did you find the motivation to start again? And what do you think are the best ways nowadays (as i'm 4 years out of touch) at getting back to that milestone of 1BTC in my wallet?

Thanks,
My advice to you is to try again. Smiley I know that losing lots of bitcoin makes you upset and disappointed and let go bitcoins out of your life (maybe that's the reason of your four year out of touch with btc), but you should not give up because you still have .2 btc, you can use this as your capital so use it wisely.

Count the things that you still have, not the things that you don't. Besides, I know that you can still earn becuase you have lots of experience than some of us in earning bitcoins, good luck!. Smiley

Need 7000 participants for bounty campaign, is this possible?
Give me an advice we need qualified Ico managers.
That's a lot of participants. these campaigns seems harder to monitor than the usual campaign containing 20 -25 participants only. And you need a big amount of bitcoin for the reward of all participants.

3257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin phased out on: September 29, 2017, 11:59:58 AM
What if someone creates a better digital currency? Will bitcoin be phased out? And how likely  is it for that to happen?
If we assume that there is someone who invented a new cryptocurrency and become more famous than bitcoin, technically speaking, that new cryptoccurrency will definetely become bitcoin's worst nightmare. The value of bitcoin will decrease which leads to bitcoin earners to sell their btc or convert it to that new one. Everyone will become upset also and shocked at the same time due to this bad news.

But, that thing we assume right before is almost impossible to happen in reality. As you can see, there are still many new cryptocurrencies are introduced in the market but yet Bitcoins are still in the top most height. And there is still no existing unique concept greater than bitcoin, so bitcoin is still the best up to present.

But everything could still happen, no one knows the future but a very strong concept is required to make it possible
3258  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: September 28, 2017, 01:43:56 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Everyone who says that bitcoin is gambling has a wrong mindset. Bitcoin is just a digital currency that exist within the Internet. You can earn bitcoins through joining signature and bounty campaigns, claiming in bitcoin faucets, bitcoin mining, gambling (like in casino), investing, and offering your skills and services to others.

Clarify to the ones who told you that bitcoin is not gambling itself, gambling is just another way to earn bitcoins. In gambling, you can join different games where you can bet bitcoins and receive more bitcoins in return if you won. Your profit here inly depends on your luck; if you are lucky you will become wealthy but if not you might face bunkruptcy.

Others' perspective also think that investing bitcoins is like gambling because you exchange your fiat money to bitcoins and risk it in order to get profits. It makes sense for me but I still disagree because I don't think that the word "gambling" is the right term for it.
3259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: September 27, 2017, 10:06:32 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
For me it's a No because Bitcoin is the root of cryptocurrency. The concept of cryptocurrency was introduced to us through bitcoin, the new ones just change their name but the concept is still came from what bitcoin already have.

The top four cryptocurrencies today are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. Among the four, Bitcoin is leading and has a very big gap betwern the other three when we compare their values. Besides, there are more people who used bitcoin other than any kind of cryptocurrency so we can conclude that Bitcoin is unbeatable up to now.

Maybe bitcoin can be replaced by others if there is a new system of finance introduced, nothing is impossible and everything could happen. But for now, Bitcoin is the best Smiley
3260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: September 27, 2017, 02:48:49 AM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.
I work hard for earning bitcoins because I want to have an income even if I'm still a student and I don't want to be fully dependent on my relatives when it comes to expenses. For now, I just save all the bitcoins I earned in my wallet, wait to accumulate until it becomes large and withdraw when the exchange rates are high. I planned to use the accumulated amount of my btc earnings in supporting my studies, in school projects and in my thesis to become more specific.

Actually, my original plan is just treat seeking bitcoins as a work, that's all. But later I realized that I found myself smiling everytime i do this. It's fun to make posts here because I'm able to give advice in others, express my opinions and also learn from others' posts. It's fun also in joining signature campaigns because it gives me a profit and at the same time it improves my English grammar.
