3241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: North Korean Hackers Stole Nearly $400 Million in Crypto Last Year on: January 16, 2022, 07:08:42 AM
This is another one of the best examples of why there will be more projects will come to cryptocurrency and establish existing one.
This will help Bitcoin or cryptocurrency-related projects to strengthen more their security because people's money is involved here and hackers are anywhere.
This is also another treat to most centralized company that related to cryptocurrency such as exchanges.
3242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DCA instead of stop-loss on: January 15, 2022, 11:51:32 PM
DCA is a different thing from stop-loss for me. If you are a trader you must rely more on the stop loss.
Why? Because I believe there's a lot more opportunity to trade in the future compare to holding it and another thing, most traders have a plan before opening the trade, entry point, target exit, stop loss. And some are considering the risk:reward ratio too.
3243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian mayor to reportedly invest 1% of city funds in Bitcoin on: January 15, 2022, 11:18:21 AM
This is one of the many ways action to support Bitcoin itself, even in some countries or cities that have some law about using Bitcoin or legal tender, which is for me it takes time.
But this Mayor, by just reporting about this, is already showing good support for Bitcoin. I just hope it is not involved with any corruption.

3245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to cancel pending withdrawals from binance? on: January 15, 2022, 04:40:33 AM
I also tried this one before when I want to cancel my withdrawal on Binance because of a change of mind and took very long. But sometimes you will get withdrawal FAILED, I tried this before, I don't know the reason why it was failed, so that's the time withdrawal canceled.
You should always be ready about the duration of their withdrawal, most of the time their withdrawal fast but there are some time, taking too long but not always.
3246  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 13, 2022, 12:43:17 AM
BTC has crossed the mark of $43k after a while and will it pump further towards $50k and is this the buy in period or else it will once again dump and stay around $40k for some more time?
(....)
That was indeed a perfect bounce for me, as the $40,000 was acting strong support here plus it can be considered as psychological support.
Let's just hope that we will not dump until the weekly close candle so it could not be considered as fake bounce, lol.
Overall, with that huge percentage of bounce, I don't consider it a trap.
3247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strike has launched in Argentina on: January 13, 2022, 12:13:18 AM
Whether they will or wont adopt the Bitcoin standard is anyones guess but they will have
to do something in this current climate of rising inflation.

They have very little choices, their Peso is worthless and the US$ is not an option either so
Bitcoin is a real option especially as El Salvador is pioneering that use case ahead of
every other country.
I am afraid that they will become the next Zimbabwe or Venezuela (I forgot which one) I think that amidst rising inflation, their government intended to ban Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. When I saw that news before, it is really worst, when the solution is already there, they start to prevent it, but yeah they have also some reasons like the increase in scams/frauds.
3248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Kin token on: January 13, 2022, 12:05:52 AM
I thought after they migrated to the Solana ecosystem they will start to grow in terms of price and become more popular but it seems just hype when they migrated to the Solana ecosystem, it's going back to where it was before again.
This altcoin become a green flag for me when they migrated to the Solana ecosystem but yeah just like most of the altcoins now, it's only good at the beginning, but who knows, they are still active, so holdl could be the best solution for you.
3249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 Metaverse Coins Mooning Amidst Bitcoin Plunge on: January 11, 2022, 11:55:25 PM
For me, it was started for the protocol were deployed that metaverse platform or coin.
Let's say for example the Defi Kingdom, we all know that is deployed to Harmony (ONE).

If you check most of pumping even Bitcoin is dumping on high market cap, like top 100. Harmony(ONE) is one of them, most are Ethereum alternative/ smart contract platforms. So for me, those pumps for these altcoins could be temporary. But it's good that the ROI is quite higher as the pump is high also.
3250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most speculative altcoin of the moment on: January 11, 2022, 11:53:13 PM
Polygon (MATIC) and Binance Coin (BNB) are my coins of choice for now. Polygon (MATIC) and Binance Coin (BNB) in my opinion will be very promising in future investments seeing several corrections occur this year, these two types of cryptocurrencies have differences with other cryptos. I mean, they are capable of moving faster.

I really support the choice of coins you choose, because it is true that Polygon and BNB are coins with amazing potential. So it is very appropriate
if you decide to invest in both, because you will make big profits if you are patient holding the two coins at least until the end of this year. Because
my prediction is that Polygon and BNB will reach new ATH this year, so don't doubt about the future of Polygon and BNB. I also buy Polygon and
BNB now, although not in large quantities. Because apart from my limited capital, I also still want to buy other coins that have good potential.
If you are looking forward to BNB and Matic, expect less ROI because for the last few months, seems the Matic and BNB season already ended, Matic is the first popular L2 which already started a long time ago, and when the trend started, the price of Matic also went up and don't dump too much, it's like on sideways.
BNB on the other side becomes a ghost as other alternative chains started to pop, like Solana, Avax, and other Layer 2 like Matic itself. Plus the lot of scams on Binance Smart Chains, which making BNB dirty.
3251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can i detect new growing altcoins ? on: January 11, 2022, 11:47:41 PM
I started investing in crypto since november 2021, and everytime I open CoinMarketCap i notice that there's a lot of new coins with at least +110% profit if you bought it the last 24h, and I was wondering if i can detect them before they grow up very fast in order make a lot in a short time. Thank you  Grin
It still depends here, there are a lot of altcoins nowadays and some of them are only good at the beginning but there are some out there who are quality indeed.
My advice to you is first to identify the altcoins roadmap, what problem they want to solve or they already have use cases.
Use cases for me are significant here like they already have product/s and people can start to use them.
3252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to enter the market and buy altcoins? on: January 11, 2022, 11:45:37 PM
You should need to consider a lot of things of buying altcoins these days,
especially the category of these altcoins.
So for me, recently it seems the protocol altcoins started to pump or most them are Ethereum alternative,
Fantom, Matic, Avax, Atom, and now NEAR. Most of them are similar, it seems L1/L2 Ethereum alternative started already, look also about how Solana did last year.
3253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Fear Index at 10 on: January 11, 2022, 11:41:58 PM

Here's the current Bitcoin fear index.

It looks like the 20 index is acting support here, it's just bouncing. So this could be the start of the accumulation area if ever 20 will hold.
With the last year, it seems the lowest was 19. So, it's more likely we are testing it again now.
But the worst was dropping at 10, awts.

Overall, for me, 10-20 is my bid area. Even if you check RSI indicators, it is showing that those area also oversold area.

3254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE-1 mission on: January 11, 2022, 11:37:07 PM
I remember when Elon Musk was invited to Saturday Night Live, American televisions show. How the dogecoin pumped and dumped too much.
This thing could be another pump and dump, or "Buy the rumor, sell the news" move again.
Overall, it's good for me since it's dogecoin, not other impostors' "meme coin". And this is another good for all cryptocurrency, not only on Dogecoin.
3255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge crypto scam that happened last year(2021) on: January 11, 2022, 11:02:32 PM
For me, how bullish the market is, that's the time scammers are increasing. I remember way back 2017-2018 bull market, there are a lot of cryptocurrency scams before, like Ponzi or the HYIP scams (I experienced this), ICO scams, etc. And most of the victims here are the newbies, and yeah, they are prone indeed.

It's just like there are always new ways for scammers out there for every season, so basically more likely on what are the current trends, scammers are always there.
3256  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Deep before the Raise on: January 11, 2022, 10:57:31 PM
Bitcoin has continued to follow a similar pattern in its market recovery and stability, if you have focused more attention on the recent bitcoin price movement you will agree with me the fact that when Bitcoin falls back to the 30k region in three early hours of Monday
(.....)
It is just showing that the $40,000 level is strong support for Bitcoin right now, but we will close a daily candle below $40,000, that's the time I can say we may experience some short-term - midterm bearish.
I am still looking forward to Bitcoin being sideways with a range of $40,000 - $50,000 until this month, just a choppy sideways.
3257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: January 11, 2022, 10:40:43 PM
I see the price of bitcoin does not last long at the level of $ 40,000. But I believe, the weakening of the current bitcoin price does not rule out the possibility that the price will advance to a higher position until it reaches a new ATH record. But I think, although the price of bitcoin is still weak lately, but the price of bitcoin is not going down to the level of $ 30,000 again. Therefore, this is the right time to buy when the bitcoin price corrects.
When Bitcoin started broke $30,000 last year then up to $60,000.

These levels became significant for me, $20,000, $30,000, $40,000, $50,000, $60,000
It looks like becoming psychological support or resistance for the many.

So for me, dropping Bitcoin below $40,000 again, and that's the time I will consider $30,000 as support, then $40,000 resistance.
3258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO Zhao Is Worth $96B Excluding Crypto Holdings on: January 11, 2022, 10:36:10 PM
The weird part is the "excluding crypto holdings" part. Can you imagine him not holding at least a few billion dollars, this dude definitely worths 100+ billion dollars for sure.
(....)
Indeed. How much possibly this guy net worth on cryptocurrency, I saw some articles or interviews before about Changpeng Zhao, like how he really invested in cryptocurrency, especially on the first time before Binance went popular, Changpeng Zhao is already a huge dedicated investor in cryptocurrency, so compare now that he already got huge worth excluded crypto holdings.
3259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Establishment of an organization for victims of Bitcoin fraud. on: January 11, 2022, 10:31:49 PM
maybe it would need a system of community mannaged black listed address, but not sure how that would be working out
Still useless or pointless considering that its way too easy on changing up address which you would really lost track and also mixing it wouldnt really be having that much effort to make thats why its

really not that much effective or couldnt really be possible at all on tracing it up on precise manner.Lots of test and tries had been done in the past even up to now on tracing up those scammers

but still failed to do so. One of the most effective ways on avoiding being scammed is having that "COMMON SENSE".
There could be some help even small but it is impossible to make it official, as Bitcoin doesn't work this way. There could be a lot of difficulties here for identifying those addresses or proving that they are involved with frauds/scams.

To be honest, these frauds/scams will still continue especially in cryptocurrency-related, not all users especially newbies already have an idea of everything but yes, COMMON SENSE will work always and we all have that.
3260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some people I can use as a reference to add enthusiasm to being in bitcoin. on: January 11, 2022, 10:24:03 PM
Quality list! Those people are indeed gems of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, especially Vitalik Buterin which is indeed into Bitcoin even he is the founder of the second highest market cap cryptocurrency.

I can also add this guy, Davincij15 on Youtube, this guy has a youtube video that asked to buy even $1 worth of Bitcoin way back in 2013, this guy is a programmer. And currently, he is still active in the cryptocurrency space, but I just don't like him for shilling some altcoins on some social media accounts of him.
