3241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YFI and YFII on: September 01, 2020, 05:41:49 PM
Can this coin be called a hype coin? because every YFI coin and so many other names with such high prices and continuous pumping is this a lot of interest with new investors? I am quite surprised by the new coins why this can happen even I am still in doubt if I have fear of the hype that occurs during the trend after it is thrown out, even though this is very little supply, I should still be suspicious of this coin.

Yes it is. The way this coin has created hype in the market now is a very scary thing. These coins are supported by big exchanges like Binance. I don't know how big the motive is, I don't know which group is behind it. But of course there is a big gang behind these coins, the big exchanges would not have listed these coins so easily without the gang. But all I know is that we have to be careful not to fall prey to the hype of these coins.
3242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which type of trading you think is good? on: September 01, 2020, 03:08:19 PM
I think if you trade based on these two, you will get good results. If you believe in any one of them, you may not get good results if you trade. The price of assets in the market changes every moment, so it is difficult to stick with a strategy here.

Because if you are a day trader then there is no guarantee that you will be able to profit with TA or Event news. So I think if the two systems trade together, good results can come. Professional traders never trade with only one strategy. They always change their strategy depending on the situation. So you have to change your strategy to keep pace with the situation.
3243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: September 01, 2020, 08:20:06 AM
I'm still not confidence that DeFi hype will be as big as ICO results of 2017 but anything is possible, instead of waiting and watching I prefer to take the risk and invest in affordable DeFi tokens because if the hype continues the profit will be massive.

Yeah. Since there is a lot of discussion about DeFi projects in the market now, there is a possibility to make a good profit. But it will require your proper research and the ability to find a good project. Because the market is now attracting people to the DeFi project, scammers here will definitely try to take advantage. So be careful here. And if any hype is created in the market, it will end in a bad way.
3244  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Road to Hero Rank + My Bitcointalk story (motivation & Journey). on: September 01, 2020, 06:33:07 AM
Big Congratulations to you for your rank up. You are now a hero member. This journey of yours was not a day or two at all, for four years you were involved with the community which is a really great experience. Newbies should be inspired by your success.

There are many new members who quit bitcointalk because they can't rank up, but they don't want to contribute to the community. Without contributing to the community, expecting something big will not give you good results. I am also dreaming of becoming a hero member oneday. Hopefully my dream will come true. Cheesy

Congratulations to you again.
3245  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Comextrades.com - Ponzi scheme on: August 31, 2020, 06:32:19 PM
Some promoters are promoting this ponzi. After so long they have started promoting again because now the market is green. Now a lot of newcomers are likely to come in the market so they are looking to take advantage of this opportunity to scam a large amount. Commission greedy promoters endanger others for their own interests.

3246  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Yearn Protocol Fake Team CEO on: August 31, 2020, 06:21:08 PM
"$crypto$" Have you checked their telegram channel? I just made a short visit there and saw that most of replies made there on be half of them and posting fake reviews about this project. Here is their telegram channel link: https://t.me/YearnProTocol
I have just checked their telegram channel. And amazed again by seeing the members replies. They just shilling the project. 'good project' nice project' 'success' bla bla bla.
Actually they are common scammer. They are just launching one by one. But our battalions also so active to protect forum members by these scammers. Please keep it up your best job man.

In their telegram, some members are replying that it is a good project, great project, because an airdrop is running now. They have joined the group to get Airdrop! In order to get some useless tokens, spammers support such fake projects and give fake messages, which often misleads investors. The Bitcointalk community is working hard to expose such scammers.
3247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My portfolio on: August 31, 2020, 05:58:30 PM
I have 60% bitcoin
10% Link
13% Neo
7% Kucoin Shares
10% other coins—- Omg, Algo, Band, knc, Zrx, Atom, TLR, Shift
How does it look? What is missing except Ethereum?

You have done your portfolio well by dividing the fund properly. The more likely you are to invest your funds in good coins, the more likely you are to keep your funds safe. People can't divide their funds properly so they lose their funds by investing in a bad coin.

However, I do not understand why your portfolio does not have ETH, because this year eth has a lot of potential to do something good in the market.
3248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bought 66k Siacoins on: August 31, 2020, 05:42:45 PM
Hey,

I have bought 66,107 Siacoins for 0.00495 each resulting in 327.21975 USDT.
What do you think of this investment, is it going to be +ve or -ve in the long run or in a month?
Link: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/siacoin/

Genuine feedback will be much appreciated.

Since you have already bought, now you can hold and see the result. I hope you have a solid plan for Siacoin. Because Siacoin has pumped enough now, it is not possible to say which will be the next target in the market. If you have done the analysis before you buy, now it seems to me that this is not the right time to buy siacoin. And for those who buy FOMO, market changes don't matter much.
3249  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] OmiseGO fake giveaway, they will steal your wallet's private key. on: August 31, 2020, 04:34:13 PM
So it's time for omiseGO now? Maybe we will see several new giveaways about omisego.  Grin
I don't sure you guys will be agreed with me or not to me. We are going to see the same hype like 2017 where many fake/scam projects were success ( this success actually of stealing people money ). Maybe the day is very near and we will see some projects will run away with people's money. Because lots of project are coming recently with fake team, whitepaper, plagarised content etc, and lot of fake airdropes.

When the market is on an upward trend, lots of scam projects come up and there are scammers waiting to steal people's money. The situation is still the same, they are creating a lot of fake websites for the purpose of scam. The more the market goes up trend, the more the number of fake websites will increase.

So now everyone has to be careful about giving their personal data on any kind of website. Because if you don't warn yourself first, scammers will try to take advantage.
3250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dips to $11.6K, ETH Options Predict Price Below $400 by End of Year on: August 31, 2020, 03:04:33 PM
Can't say surely about bitcoin cause it's quite difficult to predict the right price of it. But haven't found any possible reason that could makes bitcoin down. Even at this moment price is fine for now. Besides i know that ETH 2.0 realease would be delayed but effect could be shown. So i guess eth would pump from $400 to $500-550 even more, at the end of this year
This is just a prediction so don’t expect it to happen because there’s no such an accurate price prediction. If there’s a pump then there’s a correction after that and this is more accurate than any prediction. Bitcoin can still go up we just need to stay above $12k and we will end the year 2020 on good prices including the altcoins market.

Prediction is not always correct. Because since prediction is easy to give, anyone can give their own opinion. But some experts prediction give you confident. It remains to be seen how realistic that prediction is. However, Bitcoin is in a good position now. Along with Bitcoin, the rest of the altcoins are also trying to hold their own. Yeah, if Bitcoin could end the year above $12k then that would be a very good signal.
3251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Y series trends... What do you think? on: August 31, 2020, 12:56:08 PM
Scammers will want to scam using the name that is currently trending in the market. Since now Yfi is being pumped a lot in the market. So there will be a lot of effort by scammers to bring another scam project of this name for the purpose of scam.

This kind of activity is happening all the time. When a coin is unexpectedly pumped into the market, some people plan to run away with people's money by bringing a project with that name. So it is not surprising that we see Y-linked projects in the market everyday.
3252  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] OmiseGO fake giveaway, they will steal your wallet's private key. on: August 31, 2020, 12:11:33 PM
And of course, you should not enter your private key on any such website, because of this your tokens and coins can be stolen.
However, I hope newbies will not fall into such a trap. Good catch mate.

Yes. But newcomers do not have this knowledge. I have also seen people who do not know well how private keys work. So some scammers take advantage of their inexperience.

And since the greed of fake giveaway is being shown here, those who are thinking of making quick profit can fall into this trap. I would say newcomers need to be more careful to keep themselves away from such scams.

3254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of bitcoin trading scams -YouTube fake traders- on: August 30, 2020, 06:22:40 PM
Youtube is an easy way for scammers to reach a large number of inexperienced people. Their activities are first understood by an experienced trader, which is why they ignore such Youtubers. A professional trader doesn't have much time to make any kind of video to impress someone in the wrong way. It is not easy to trust someone you know online, it is risky to make a deal with someone you trust. In your inbox will come those whose main purpose is to scam. So you should do research to increase the scope of your own knowledge.
3255  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Possible scam Tether mixer on: August 30, 2020, 05:25:53 PM
This is my first time to hear about Tether mixer and probably not as big as bitcoin mixer, but the intention is still the same, to pull a scam to crypto users. Another red flag is the minimum amount of 50 USDT? Damn, that is too high.

They want to use every opportunity, for which they are willing to use any system. This is another example of how hard they work to scam people. If they could use their talents for good, they could do better. Since the market is in a good position now, they can get a lot of victims. Because now those who are new to the market will not get an idea about such a complex scam.
3256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: August 29, 2020, 04:47:57 PM
I saw the ico hype of 2017. There is no calculation of how many projects came at that time. Most of these projects were created for the purpose of scam. And the scammers were successful at that time. Because lots of new people were coming into the market and most of them didn't know what the consequences of this hype would be. While the ICO hype was profitable for some people, the majority suffered huge losses.

Now that the DeFi hype has been created, those people have already set a stop target. I don't know how this hype will end. A bad environment can be created when it is finished. It's a good sign that something new is coming in the market, but some people find ways to scam people by misusing those new things.
3257  Other / Archival / Re: [Warning] DeFi SCAM - DefiLoans on: August 29, 2020, 04:20:58 PM

This is indeed similar to what happened in 2017.

Back then it was the ICO's, now the buzzword is DeFi.

I am not even sure if DeFi itself is something reliable and I don't think I'll ever use it.

Since DeFi has created a lot of hype in the market it will now be an easy approach it is normal for scammers. Now a lot of new people will come in the market, most of whom will be thinking of making a quick profit. Because they are influenced by those who come to crypto, they just teach them how to profit. So there is a risk here. And I don't want to say too much about DeFi. But those who come to the market must pay attention to verifying every opportunity.
3258  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Cryptochrome - another DeFi with plagiarized whitepaper! on: August 29, 2020, 04:06:44 PM
Hello mate. The Project team hired me to create the page. Hope you will remove that negative trust.Thankyou.

Those who help scammers are also scammers. They have hired you and you are promoting their project without any verification! How much professional you are? You can do the same thing in the future, so it is important to tag you.

So that when you promote a project, people can be alert and keep themselves safe. If you delete all the threads, then the community can think about removing your tags.
3259  Other / Archival / Re: [Warning] DeFi SCAM - DefiLoans on: August 28, 2020, 06:22:10 PM
Have you checked their telegram ?

They are spreading fake news on their telegram about listing. I have checked all from my end and they are using their telegram to make investors fool. Their real intention is to move people's on their presale page.

Take a look here,
Here is their telegram channel link: https://t.me/defiloanschannel [Don't believe on their lies]

Uniswap is now the choice of scammers to continue to cheat in their token listings, maybe because the many tokens on Uniswap are an option for them?

Obviously if any DeFi project is suspicious, one should be aware that they will continue to do their part to start a lot of scams with a project they created under a new name.

When there is a new trend in the market, scammers use it to try to scam ordinary crypto users. I have seen the bull market of 2017, and I have seen everything like how many scams have taken place at that time. Etherdelta was the most preferred place for scammers. At that time projects were listed on etherdelta without any verification and people were victims of scams. And now scammers are trying to scam using this DeFi trending.

I also received this fake giveway email. When I started checking their activities, I saw that they were trying to attack through Malware. Those who are tempted to download and install this app, their entire system may fall under the control of scammers. I checked their app and the VirusTotal showing that malware exists in this app.
