Only course of action for me is to let other people know that this platform doesn't pay up. Trying to do things involving legal action should only be a last resort and shouldn't be something that you should think of initially because this may even push the platform into not paying up. They will be scared and will even give you a harder time, so just let other people know of what's happening and that's enough since it threatens their business once people found out about it.

Are you guys 100% sure that the device is clean and didn't help getting your friend hacked? Talking about experience, I have been using the same wallet since 2015 and has left 0.01 btc in there just for good measure. It was generated through electrum and I'm still using the same 12-word mnemonic that I have memorized over time, and up until now the balance is there. I generated it with an old, crappy HP laptop that was connected to the internet at that time, and so far I haven't encountered any security issues at all.
Better backtrack and check what other possible reasons may have caused this. Or it could be that someone gained access to his computer without him knowing.

Flood causes tons of industries to crumble, leading up to short-term economic crisis when things aren't patched up as fast as possible. People can technically recover from it, but it will be hard for businesses to do so, most especially if their products are wasted by the flood. It will lead to a lot of loans, lots of insurance claims, and lots of uncertainties leading to a mini collapse in the economy of the flood-stricken area.
Flood is also the reason why a lot of "flood-free" lands are being reclaimed with higher premium than others. The higher initial investment outpaces the possible losses over time due to flooding. Then again, flooding will always be a constant problem for us, since no one is safe from Mother Nature, especially if all of our forest areas and other important natural defenses are being stripped out of resources to fulfill our needs.

That moment when Verstappen still wins race, despite extremely long 11 seconds pit stop. It perfectly summarizes current dominace of Red Bull. In the end Lewis tried his best to keep Max behind, but it was only matter of time until Max will overtake him. Now Red Bull oficially become Constructors Cup champions. Perfect way to honour found of Red Bull company Dietrich Mateschitz, who passed away yesterday. Waht a performance of Alonso. After such crash, he managed not just to finish, but also to take 7th place and grab some points.
I thought Verstappen wouldn't be able to keep up and win the race. He is just too fast and the current Red Bull car serves him just right on the way he drives. That overtake is also a boss! Taking the inside and sprinting all the way to the end. Totally a nail biter but I feel bad for Lewis Hamilton for giving his all yet can't keep up with the bull. Well whatever, the guy dominated the F1 with a seemingly-undefeated race car for years, and it's about time other teams flaunt their creations with W's posted every match. Also, RIP Dietrich Mateschitz. His contributions to F1 in general is a lot, and have given a lot of people to test their skills and their potential in a motorsport that a lot of people around the world loves.

I think Beastcoast members except for C_smile were having symptoms of covid, hence why he's with teddy bears and stuff on the TI stage, same scenario with RNG.
I suspected that much but I just want to confirm it here. Is Covid protocol over there too lux that a few players are getting covid? It is hard to win if you are far apart from your team. I think they aren't strict when it comes to checking but are strict in imposing protocols. RNG's manager slid into these checks and managed to get in to the area where players are chilling even though he is COVID-positive. They don't do extensive tests, and PGL and Valve should have been more careful because it will lead to a lot of said cases just like what happened to Bc and RNG. This TI, outplaying is not enough. It's the draft that matters. Lots of times Beastcoast managed to outplay LGD and clean them out on teamfights but Ame still managed to get the best of Bc because they lack the physical defense (Halberd, AC, Shiva) against a Sven that is basically 7-slotted even though they are ahead of the game.
Once Sven got his timing, he is basically one stun one hitting most of the beastcoast heroes. They are just paper to Sven. MOst of the time, the one that got a better draft win. I think I am yet to see a countered draft and win. I think PSG.LGD is countered heavily on that draft, but they managed to make it work somehow. Bc is equipped with a lot of kiting tools against that Sven and Lesh, and they have sufficient burst damage thanks to ET and SF's synergy in reducing LGD's armor to negatives when they caught even the Sven. It's just that Ame knows the power of his hero and used it very well against the rather squishy lineup of BC. Had that CK went for a more armor build like AC, and Marci or ET went for a Halberd, it would have been a different story altogether, but they weren't able to get the timings and they opted to go for a more high-ground siege type of items in the mid game because Bc thought they are extremely far ahead.
A week of no TI dota for us, but the last match of the day is extremely hype! Thunder Awaken managed to give some hits and receive some up until the very end. Insania also dodged being an analyst for the last few matches of the tournament ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) This year, I'm inclined to bet on Team Secret to win this year's TI. Puppey's drafts is just on another level!

- Concerns about college affordability and student debt
College remains at its most expensive ever—tuition at private, nonprofit four-year colleges costs an average of $38,070 per year during the 2021-22 academic year, and public four-year colleges are charging an average of $10,740, according to the most recent Trends in College Pricing and Student Aid report. The Biden Administration announced in August a plan to forgive up to $20,000 in existing federal student debt per borrower, but that wouldn’t help those taking on new debt and public attention before and after that announcement has served to keep student debt—and the burdens it places on drop outs, graduates and their families—in the news cycle. This probably is the main reason why only a few students are taking up higher education after high school. Imagine getting a degree that is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars that will not pay off for the next 5-10 years of your life and landing you in a job that pays very low? Who would be motivated on that? There are grants and scholarships that the government offers but most of those are aimed for the cream of the crop students, but what about the average ones? I really don't understand why college needs to be ultra expensive in the US. Other nations can provide quality education with the fraction of the cost—in some countries, even free sometimes. The labor market for workers without a college degree is still strong. The unemployment rate in September fell to 3.5%, and the number of manufacturing and construction jobs is on the rise. (Construction as a college major saw a surge in interest this fall, with the number of students pursuing associates degrees in the field rising by 7.4%). High school graduates that opted not to go to college during the last two years have yet to enroll, the Clearinghouse data shows. These prospective students appear to be saying instead of going to College or University they should just work construction or do some courses online and acquire a skill, since they might not be able to pay off their student loans even after graduation. Has Colleges and Universities stopped bring values to students? Has the ROI of Colleges and Universities dropped? Or if they went to a trade school instead, they will have better chances of landing a job almost immediately after being referred, or even them just looking for a job alone. Nowadays only a few students are chasing for degrees in Science, Tech, Economics, and other such field that pays highly but also gets you into a pile of debt in the academe. Meanwhile labor jobs are on the rise because the number of people that are skilled enough to do the job are declining, hence why the field is slowly booming again and getting a lot of heads turning due to the increase in pay and a lot of jobs ready to be taken.

In-person exchanges in this day and age is obsolete, and that 5% fee is lucrative in a sense that it's too high of a charge for convenience. Also, as what others pointed out, if you sell bitcoins personally you are prone to a lot of dangers most specifically the 'wrench' attack. You'll never know if someone already tipped you off for having been sold some bitcoins to an entity and that they are already following you in exchange for the money that you got.

I think the only way to curb this plague in governance is to install actual public servants - those who do not put their interests forward and leave the interest of the public behind. Easier said than done, and in this day and age, how many people are there that remains to be pure in intentions anyway? Probably a handful, and a lot of them would surely pass on the opportunity to be in the government or will have the requirements to handle a public post.
Politicians will always have ulterior motives that will benefit themselves. Only thing that needs to be done is to choose which of them are the lesser of the evils.

Just a question, why is beastcoast not in the stage? On c_smile is on stage. Funny comment from caster while on game, "C smile is all alone. Alone on the stage and in the game."
I think Beastcoast members except for C_smile were having symptoms of covid, hence why he's with teddy bears and stuff on the TI stage, same scenario with RNG. PSG.LGD and Beastcoast right now. Currently 1-1 and game 3 is a nail biter. Beastcoast showing that they can go toe to toe against what the world considers as number 1 team right now. The Elder Titan pick somewhat disrupted LGD's draft, because I think they intended that Sven to just go shard and hide behind Lesh or another carry. They are forced to give the Sven to Ame against a Batrider and it's not pretty to look at. Good thing is, they are still somewhat able to salvage lots of team fights that should have been one-sided in favor of Beastcoast. My +1.5 Beastcoast pick for today is looking great. 2.63 odds is not too shabby! EDIT: Oh well, after I submitted this post, Ame just cleaned 3 cores from BC. Way to jinx my own predictions ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Actually game one was very smooth not until they manage to have lousy drafting with the BC it is not ideal draft because they pick void and get countered with the Axe of Fate bian and also with the last game they give the IO Sven and Lesh to the LGD actually I bet with the BC too because there's a potential also have a good odds but yeah LGD deserve to win and lose my bet at the same time lol.

The man's a legend. I binged watched lots of moments with this guy and all I can say is that referees should try and emulate his passion for the game. He may be ruthless on the field and look terrifying at all times, but you can see and feel that he is this way in order for the players to maintain a clean game at all times and respect each other and of course, the ref's decision.
Also, I don't think this man ever committed wrong calls at all. He is revered by a lot of fans and players for years for his fairness and love for the sport.

I wonder why a lot of games still want to integrate "metaverse" into their structure? I mean, the game looks great as it is, and they can implement trading in-game items with crypto if they wanted to, without having to touch the "metaverse" thing. Mir4 did this, although the game ended up to be a classic MMORPG where everyone only wanted bragging rights, less about the money-making aspect but still it is somewhat successful even up to this day.
Imagine if all old games will be revived with the word "metaverse " on it, I'm pretty sure people will jump on board not because of the metaverse but rather to relive their memories and satisfy their nostalgia whilst playing the game.

Last 4 games for tomorrow before we have a break for close to a week (?) Idk if this is correct but whats with the 1 week break though
Idk if they changed the format wherein the on-ground events will be allotted for the downtime between today's game and the finals. Previously they just place the all-star match, cosplay, short-film events at the same day of the semis and grand finals. Then again, you have PGL as this years' TI organizer. Most of their organized events are shit, and maybe that explains why there is a week-long downtime in-between quarterfinals and semi-finals/grand finals events. OG vs Liquid should be a 3 map game as both teams have played good in this TI but a Liquid is playing a slight better than OG.
I don't see BC taking a map from PSG. Beastcost played well but teams like PSG will figure them out pretty soon like Secret did with Thunder and a 2-0 seems the reasonable score for this game.
PSG seemed to be playing a strat that they usually don't do. Their tempo is kinda offbeat at times although props to XinQ and Ame for being as stable as they can be on their whole run in the lower bracket. It feels weird to see them playing from the lower bracket but heck, it worked for them thus far!

I'd rather be this level of stupid than to be a "play on a platform with no KYC then get your money scammed" kind of stupid.
Almost all of the crypto gambling platforms require KYC nowadays, and they will, most of the time, only require it to be submitted after you have won a huge amount, or if your activities on the platform became somewhat suspicious. You can still play and you can still enjoy on KYC platforms by just doing the basic KYC if you're not a big baller, and for sure when the time comes that you are required to submit your KYC, your info will still be protected, else the government can easily shut the platform down if they found out that the said gambling platform is not following the guidelines to secure the information of its players.

Nothing new for a major shareholder to boast their company's image in exchange for some possible buys from investors or traders. Elon can literally claim anything on Tesla stock, but the thing is how long would these claims be manifested and how will it be possible to achieve it? Nowadays, no one questions the 'how' on huge claims, especially if it's about money that a lot of individuals can possibly earn. They just go with the bullshit and put their money on it hoping that they also make it big.
Saudi Aramco is already a difficult company to chase in terms of valuation given how important its products are. What more with Apple and its line of overpriced tech products that a lot of people still prefers to buy?

There's really not a lot of demand to these coins nowadays. A lot of people are opting for coins that can post them quick profits and are 'flashy,' and topics like privacy doesn't really come to their minds as evidenced by a lot of people giving out their personal information on bounties and airdrops in exchange for some of those new coins to be had for free. If there would be a privacy coin that is trendy, and can literally keep up with the ads that other big crypto names are putting out, perhaps there is a fighting chance. But I still wouldn't bank on it heavily, though. Also, privacy is a niche that not everyone is really interested in given how excessively showy a lot of us are nowadays.

Later this day, it will be a very hard match between Team Liquid and OG. Up until now I cannot gauge who of these two will remain victorious in the end. Liquid literally trashed OG back in the group stages, but OG somewhat bared their fangs against Team Liquid however it isn't sharp enough to do much damage against the said team. Liquid's play is still as composed and as organized as possible whereas OG relies on the explosiveness of bzm or Yuragi in the early game in order to make the mid game be in their favor. OG +1.5 will be my pick, although I'm also inclined to get Liquid +1.5 since the latter is a more viable option than the former based on recent results. I might watch it live and take other lines but for now, I'm inclined to take OG just for YOLO. On the side of PSG.LGD vs Beastcoast, the logical choice is to get PSG.LGD as the series winner however Beastcoast is showing a lot of crazy dota recently that it's hard to just ignore what they can do. I'll probably just place a bet on Beastcoast to win the series with small amount. Getting some out-of-the-box picks sure seemed to be the theme of TI11. On the Upper Bracket match. Secret has the gold and kill advantage but still Thunder Awaken pos1 is Slark and 2nd on the net worth. There’s still a possibility for a comeback if they give an opening. BTW I have +1 on TA here so I’m shaking rn. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Team Secret did not give them a chance to recover. They keep on pressuring them until they collapsed. Even when Slark was on top of the net worth, there is nothing he can do because Team Secret is already in the roll and snowballing. Puppey played a lot of games against Slark all throughout his entire professional career. This man knows that Slark, even on the top net worth, still isn't a force to be reckoned with especially if the supports can't keep up and the other 2 cores can't do much follow ups in damage or even in lock downs. He's a very squishy hero when it comes to magic damage and that's why Puppey opted for a Lesh core to go against this Slark. Nyx is a pain in the ass on the early engagements but his utility fell off when the Ursa became online and it all went downhill from there. Team Secret and Tundra just need a win to get into the Finals. Team Secret against Tundra will be an epic match but we still have to wait a week before we see them play.
Tundra's drafts are more on the comfort lane style compared to Secret's counter the enemy style. Both are extremely great in reading the map and making plays, and I think it's the draft that will matter on their fight next week. I'll go all in for Secret here given that Puppey has the experience and the brains to get the better drafts against Tundra.

My country is not on that list nor is it a place that gamblers will visit because it is not the right one or friendly for gamblers. If anything in my country was reserved for gambling anyway it wouldn't be a place for me to visit, not even other places abroad, like Las Vegas or Macau, don't like to travel because want to gamble. Places like that must be very crowded and don't like crowds especially to gamble openly even in the places that have been provided
Been to Macau a few times, most importantly before the pandemic, and I can tell you that it's not as crowded as they like to make it to be in documentaries or even movies. There are a lot of people but certainly not crowded, and you can even hop to a few other gambling platforms in there and notice that not a lot of people can be found inside the big casino names (Venetian, Lisboa, etc.). Most of the tourists in there are there to take pictures and stuff, and not play in these casinos so you might want to consider playing there and have a good time even for just a few hundred bucks. If you think that $5k is not enough, then you probably keep some other amount in your head when you talk about it? 6k? 50k? At least tell me approximately, I personally have no thoughts on this matter, but such an idea is generally interesting. Visiting Macau is an interesting idea and it would be cheaper for me, but still the USA is a more interesting country, and besides, there is a crisis in China, I don’t know how safe it is to go there.
I've never been to the USA, but wow is $5k not enough? I know that things in the USA are a bit heavy because of all the war tabor that there is, however I have heard that to go to the USA it is not so much money that is spent, the meals and some things are cheap, the lodgings if I know that there are many expensive ones and it is very difficult to go and live there because of all that you have to pay for services and things like that, I believe that, despite everything, it is a country that moves thousands and thousands of dollars and that there will always be a way to resurface for people, especially for those in the third world, it is becoming more expensive, the most important thing is that in the USA there is inflation that continues to increase its levels. The only places that are cheap to visit in the US are the remote states from the big cities (the Midwest, some states in the south, and some places in Cali) but you can obviously not get some gambling experience on these places. You might see some slot machines on the side of some convenience stores but it's as shady as it can get. If you want the best experience, Vegas is obviously the go-to option for you, and I can tell you, $5k is enough to experience literally almost everything there, excluding your hotel stay, airplane tickets, and other such things, of course.

The man should not reveal his identity, else he would be subject to a lot of beggars and a lot of pressure from the society to help other people's plight. If I were the man, I'd claim the money, keep it on an offshore bank account and travel to that country and settle there for good. It's time for him to turn his life around and live comfortable. I'm not saying that he shouldn't help, it's just that it's not his obligation to do so. He could always give some to family and friends, but not to the point that his win will be diminished to something that will not be able to help him to start anew.

I would certainly not pay for more than $50k to prove that I am not a cheat, but if I paid that $500 fine other casinos/platforms will recognize me as the "guy who cheated" and may even bar me from entering competitions or even just play on a regular table. It's a 50/50 situation, neither of which is an easy road to take. That $500 may not be "that big" for someone who regularly wins blackjack but it would sure tarnish their name. The $50k in court and legal proceedings is huge, but at least the world recognized that I'm not doing something wrong just to win on that table.
