OgNasty handled my recent escrow transaction perfectly.  The funds had to be returned due to an issue the seller had but everything went smoothly.   Smiley

I've put pennies on a track before and they were completely flattened with no design.  These bitcoin pennies must be beefy or the train that ran over my pennies was carrying a lot more weight.   Grin

Payment sent, looking forward to the penny rolls.

There was some good commentating on the auction and I definitely didn't think dozerz would come back after the .04 raise.  Smiley

Interesting, #10 going so high I don't know if I'll be able to compete anymore.  A little more than 2 days left in the auction.

Very nice, is there any way I can purchase it and print a copy to read?

$5 is a deal but I would like to read paper and I don't have an amazon account or a kindle.  You can PM me if you aren't selling a PDF copy and we'll figure something out.  Smiley

I just picture them hanging from the trailer hitch of a monster truck....

Stainless steel truck nuts are here!

Impressive, looks like great craftsmanship.
(I am not a potential buyer, since I would have no idea what to use such a thing for).

Thanks, the ball bearings themselves are useful and the premium over the cost of the bearings is extremely low.  If I was to disassemble it, the prusik cord would be re-purposed as the cord I used costs around $1/foot and there is approximately 25-40 feet in this Monkey Fist setup.  I forget exactly how much as I started from a 50ft section and cut the extra off but I remember there wasn't a lot left.  Working with a 50ft rope was interesting.   Cheesy

For a 2007 D penny to fetch that much money... It would have to be a graded MS70 proof ... there probably wasn't that many graded that high for that year, making it pretty rare...    I'm just guessing....

I wanted to add that the MS70 grade is actually a "perfect" coin or "mint state 70" while PR70 or PF70 is a proof.  The regular coin and proof are different strikes.   Wink

Quote
A proof numismatic coin tends to have a much higher standard of finish, contains a greater depth of sharpness, definition and detail. A proof numismatic coin also typically has a mirror like finish on the flattest surfaces of the coin and a contrasting matt finish on any raised element of the coins design.

Proof coins are made using specially polished and treated dies and are also normally double struck at slower speeds which helps them achieve a higher definition and precision of detail.

If you need visual proof please let me know and I'll post the photos immediately with my name or my thumb up or w/e you want to be in the pic so that you know it's me.

Despite the fact that people are skeptical and there is no such thing as an MS-95 grade, can you post some pictures of these pennies?
3259  Economy / Collectibles / Re: PaperSafe ..Secure Paper wallet with unique security anti tamper design on: June 13, 2015, 04:33:37 AM
I have been wanting to update my thread here with some new features that will be going into the production run of the SatoshiNotes...

One of the most exciting thing is that I have upgraded the NFC tag to NTX 216 from NTX 203... this upgrade will give users 888 bytes of storage from 137 bytes.... This is a major upgrade in hardware.... hardware signed signature authentication  is now avalible through BlackSeal...making cloning of the nfc authentication totally imposible. ..more information to come with PaperSafe NFC tagged Paper wallets....  also the NFC tag will remain unlocked... so any thing can be stored on the NFC tag.... including..... Public and private keys.... trezor mnimics... greenaddress app log ins..... the uses are endless.......up to 888 bytes....

The next upgrade to Papersafe documents is the use of invisible ink printing.... The back of each note is marked with The UV printing....This invisible ink printer will be used with every papersafe document and adds to the overall anti counterfeiting  measures.... plus looks really cool under a black light too....

Now for the Auction of #10...... along with Papersafe proof print #10... I will include a ...(1 of)....Papersafe prototype print. With a date of 2014....it is the only one of its kind.... you will see where PaperSafe Satoshi notes came from... The prototype was funded with 1000 bits... back in late 2014... and is signed by myself.....it is printed on different security paper....   This print was during all the Research and development of the PaperSafe of today....and was the only prototype funded...... There is no other early prototypes funded like this .....a true Ultra Rare piece

Look for the #10 PROOF PRINT Satoshi note and Early Prototype Auction posting later this evening.......

The 100 PaperSafe notes sale will be very soon..... I'm restocking my supplys and setting up a spacious  work space to have fluid production ....  each note now has 5 trips through different printers.....along with multi hand applied elements....

I thank everyone for supporting my PaperSafe project..

This might make the Artist Proofs rarer since they have the old NFC style.

I'm looking forward to getting one of the production prints to mess around with this NFC technology whilst keeping the Artist Proofs intact.   Smiley

Definitely, it was just bithalo and I competing for a couple proofs and then all of a sudden the rest caught on.  I was the first post on BG4's development thread asking to purchase them and I ended up winning the #1 proof - quite glad bithalo didn't pull out his reserves.   Grin
