Charts can say anything. It's just a tool to guess probabilities.

Still awaiting whale buy...

3242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 19, 2015, 10:52:57 PM
TA can't predict pumps caused by major mainstream news or whales mesding about with the market.

Exactly. No one knows the future. It's all about probabilities and TA can be useful in that respect.

Awaiting that major bull whale buy....

Next 24hrs are critical.

Nice analysis in the charts. I expect an interim plunge to $370 before continuation price rise. Indicators have weaker tops with weaker price action. Only a large buyer can save this rally.

Beware.

3249  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATH INCOMING Peter Schiff Warns "The Whole Economy Has Imploded Collapse Coming" on: December 08, 2015, 06:39:50 PM
The price of oil going down stimulates the economy more than anything the Fed could do.

It severally affects the 'flow' in the system. Flow is more important than the price of the SPX or the level of debts. Flow is everything.

No development at all. That doesnt matter.

This is BTE, the original 1:1 Bitcoin clone (Bytecoin). Indeed, it has nostalgic value to some.

"Ignoring the economics leads to a lot of nonsense ideas. ""

Exactly. Double facepalmed when I read the article in the Ecocomist recently:

"Bitcoin itself may never be more than a curiosity. However blockchains have a host of other uses because they meet the need for a trustworthy record, something vital for transactions of every sort. Dozens of startups now hope to capitalise on the blockchain technology, either by doing clever things with the bitcoin blockchain or by creating new blockchains of their own (see article)."

Decentralised blockchains do not persist without a proper incentive.
Blockchains that are secured by a trusted third party are not decentralised.

I do not see a separation between the blockchain (decentralised database) and its incentive (something like Bitcoin).
3255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 18, 2015, 10:29:44 PM

The fun part is that Bitcoin is very transparent once you have tied a real word identity to a Bitcoin address. I guess authorities can achieve much by regulating Bitcoin exchanges (i.e., the connection between Bitcoin and the Fiat-World). Tight border controls will do the same for cash. Unfortunately, freedom suffers from all of this.

I take it as a notification that Luc will post again when he is confident about scenario's. No rush to predict an insane market.

Alert! BTC-e gasping it's final breath!  Shocked

During BTC bubbles, 3 awesome things tend to happen in BTC-E. They are called LTC, PPC and NMC. Always the best fun and profit from playing these little guys.
