3241  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 05, 2023, 05:57:08 PM
If by "other" you are referring to another human gambler, then you need to know that the concept of you winning and others losing only comes when there is a multiplayer game being played and you are not against the house only, because in most gambling games, you are up against the house and in that case, it is only you who either win or lose and mostly you lose because of the house edge.

Luck is obviously the only element that you need in gambling to succeed, otherwise, no matter how much money you carry with you when entering a casino, you will come out empty handed if you don't have luck on your side.
Agree with what you said. Luck is a determining factor so that we can win; without luck, we will not be able to win. We're up against the casino, and the chances of winning probably won't be as big as the chances of losing. So we must eliminate that desire to win instead of just thinking about enjoying gambling moments.

And if we choose to use a demo game, it means we are not gambling even though we are clearly gambling Grin
3242  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: June 05, 2023, 05:29:01 PM
Hello everyone,

TrustDice team here!
I just wanted to let you know that some of your recommendations in this topic have already been adopted and implemented! We are integrating Litecoin and Dogecoin at the time of writing, and we'll shortly formally launch it. To be on the safe side, ETC is two weeks. We may also soon start integrating TRON.

Thank you for all your suggestions! And we are listening Smiley
TrustDice Team
Thanks for the notification to us. We appreciate it and are happy to see that Litecoin and Dogecoin are finally added to your list of coins on your casino site. With more and more coin lists in your list, I believe it will give gamblers more choices to choose their favorite coins to gamble. And it can also be a solution for them in depositing money, especially if there are problems again on the bitcoin network like some time ago. This will make gamblers on your site not have to worry about what's happening in the market because they already have their favorite coins and can deposit coins directly into their gambling accounts.
3243  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: June 05, 2023, 04:50:05 PM
I don't think AI can beat the house, it's just a program and AFAIK casinos don't allow their gamblers to use such robots or bots, so AI is fall in this category. If you're really on AI to beat the house and you can make an easy money, you're wrong because gambling is full of luck. If the result isn't like your expectation, you will be angry and you're want to recover your losses, in the end you will lose all of your money.
AI can beat casinos, especially if casinos haven't implemented AI for their business, so there is an opportunity for gamblers to win by using AI. But if the casino has implemented AI in its business, it will be difficult for gamblers to win the game because the casino will not let the gamblers win easily using AI. And the casinos will be able to spot gamblers using AI and might even penalize them so that those gamblers can't get big wins. We have to rethink if the casino has used AI to restrain or not let the gamblers win. No matter what, the casino will not let gamblers take their money from the casino.
3244  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: June 05, 2023, 04:23:27 PM
You are very correct, not every transactions that requires to be done by card, just some transactions that might be considered illegal by the bank, or that is over the limit of the bank, or what the bank considers to be a limit to your account..
When you are a cardholder you should be educated on how and where to use it, you could be in debt if you are not responsible, I have friends who spent more than he can pay because he is always tempted to buy what he can afford to loan, a credit card is a big temptation for spenders.
So if you do not know how to control yourself better by not using a card and sticking to cash, there are transactions where you don't need cards and the most important is to monitor your spending, especially in casinos, as you will be tempted to deposit more than you can especially if you are in chasing your losses mode.
It's better not to use a debit or credit card for anything because it can make us always tempted to use it. It's always better to use cash to pay, and if we don't have it in our wallet, we can first take it at the nearest ATM. So we can protect credit cards and debit cards from bad things that can happen. And it would not be advisable to use credit and debit cards to connect to online sites, let alone casino sites, because we can easily be tempted to continue gambling even if we spend a lot of money.
3245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 05, 2023, 03:40:27 PM
I dont think that loosing school fees was the real reason to commit a suicide. It was last drop before he made that decision. I believe that people dont commit suicide so instantly, it is a decision they  came to with time. It said that he has bough insecticide. I think he has planned that suicide. As you can just all of a sudden decide so quickly how to kill yourself, as he had to be sure that it will work, but not just cause damage and paid.
When someone can't think of how he can solve a problem and suicide is the best way out, he will make a plan to kill himself. So I also think so because a person doesn't immediately decide to commit suicide, no matter what. But he will decide to commit suicide when there is no other way out. They think that suicide will solve their problems, but it will create problems for others. They are desperate and don't want to consider what it means for those around them.
3246  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 05, 2023, 02:49:49 PM
Regulations from the government try to suppress crypto casinos so that crypto users who often play gambling at crypto casinos experience the impact of these government regulations.

I understand why government do that because many money launderers is now using online casino to mix their dirty money. Unlike crypto mixers, Casino needs to apply safety precautions like KYC to fight this criminal and to avoid being seize by the government by allowing launderers to freely use their service to wash their money.
And that's why casinos seem to be tightening their rules about doing KYC for almost all of their members, especially members who use big money to gamble. Those making large withdrawals must also perform KYC before the casino can process their withdrawal request. This is to avoid the possibility of money laundering occurring at their casino because the casino doesn't want to get into trouble later.

I don't think this has stopped newer casinos that aren't as strict from being able to get new users moving away from casinos that have overly strict KYC regulations.

Afaik, New casino with license is stricter in application of KYC compared to the old reputable casino since they want to fully compliant in the law because they are new and scared on the probable impact on their business.
Well, it can happen in a new casino, but crypto gamblers won't like it as they prefer casinos that are less strict when it comes to doing KYC. Perhaps only some gamblers will be willing to do KYC at a new casino, but others will still choose the usual casino to gamble. So a new casino is better off writing additional rules at the casino that says it will verify members who exceed the specified limits. But members who do not exceed the limit will not be asked to do KYC. That would be preferable for crypto gamblers as they will try not to exceed that limit lest they do KYC.
3247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefit of bitcoin on: June 05, 2023, 01:56:29 PM
Honestly, I invest in bitcoin because of its high volatility, if it is less volatile and stable as gold, then I would rather invest in gold than take a big risk investing in bitcoin without big profit. Indeed, bitcoin's volatility has never been a downside. That is its biggest advantage, and most people are interested in ever. Would people still care much about it if bitcoin were a decentralized, anonymous, and private currency without volatility? Even I am doubting myself about that.
Many people invest in bitcoin because there is an opportunity to get big profits, and many people have proved that. And that also happened to me, who has been investing in bitcoin for a long time because only by having lots of bitcoins will big profits come, even though we also invest in altcoins which can provide additional benefits. And the benefit of bitcoin is that we can have new investments that we can buy with little money. In contrast to gold which must follow the size of gold to be purchased and we must have more money to buy gold with the smallest size. From that point of view, investing in bitcoin will be more profitable because we can do it with small money and do DCA.
Both of you are right, people invest in bitcoin because they think some profit will be earned. They believe in some reason to gain profit with bitcoin, like its volatility will be utilized gain profit by Trading and Holding. Then, Its decentralization system and blockchain technology become an inspiration to develop exciting technology, and many other things .
Profiting from investing in Bitcoin is the goal of everyone who becomes a Bitcoin investor. And with the volatility, traders also try to get profits even though they have to face difficult circumstances, but they still try to get profits. And they are all trying to achieve their respective targets and so far, many people have succeeded. And if you haven't succeeded in reaching your target, it's only a matter of time because if you still do it, you can reap the benefits.

~snip~
Well said mate. Actually I have been seen a lots of people in my life who comes to Bitcoin i.e. Cryptocurrencies investment only for using it a quick rich scheme tools. But most of them who had such thoughts have dropped out from this sector  except some people who later realized their mistake and picked themselves up. First of all we need to change our perception about Bitcoin, Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme tools.  It is a virtual asset that increases our financial freedom.
And to talk about investment, it is not wise to invest more funds at once in any investment, altcoin says, and bitcoin says that if you want to gain profit in all of them, you have to always maintain a proper DCA management. And always take away greedyness from mind .
They will be hard-pressed to make a profit if they think crypto is a get-rich-quick scheme. However, investing in crypto takes time, and we must be patient to wait for it. Only those who can do it can make big profits when the bull season arrives. And to achieve the biggest profit, it's better for them to focus on bitcoin, but they can also invest in altcoins if they want additional profits. But it's better to be more careful if you want to invest in altcoins because altcoin movements are wilder.
3248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: European Sex Championship 😳, Will you Bet? on: June 04, 2023, 06:32:21 PM
I don't want to bet on sex, and I don't think sex is a sport. This means that while some people think of sex as a sport between a man and a woman, it is specific to them and not to be practiced in public. I also don't know if any casino will take this and provide it in their casino. But maybe this can happen, especially for casinos only concerned with the money problem they can get from every bet in their casino. But I wonder what the rules are like. How are they going to do it publicly?
3249  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empowering Individuals Through Statistical Analysis: Building a Casino Simulator on: June 04, 2023, 05:51:10 PM
Regardless of how fascinating or valuable such tools may appear for statistical purposes, there is simply no way to outsmart the law of probability in a gambling casino. The outcomes of casino games are inherently random, and luck plays a crucial role in determining success or failure. So, no statistical tool or AI can provide a solution to overcome the law of probability. Gambling outcomes will always involve an element of uncertainty and luck, which cannot be eliminated by any tool or technology.
I think for few games this might come in handy but overall especially on luck-based games this is just a nay for me. I wonder if AI in the future has the ability to outsmart it which I don't doubt in the first place considering how robust our technology gone by. Yeah you'd be correct on that but AI might have the slightest chance in it though I think only in skill based gambling.
If it was luck, even an AI might find it difficult to outsmart because luck was based on chance, and there were many things surrounding luck. Maybe AI can give us what percentage we win, but we still can't predict whether we can get lucky with that percentage or whether it won't give us a win. Well, maybe some gamblers still rely on AI because they believe in AI, but there are gamblers who rely more on themselves in gambling. But maybe AI will be more useful for skill-based gambling or sports betting.
3250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TAMADOGE to $1 soon? on: June 04, 2023, 05:39:05 PM
quite hard enough, i would just say it frankly that this coin will hardly ever recover, though take it with grain of salt in regards of my opinion but here's the thing, relatively low market capitalisation and trading volume. I don't think this meme coin is any good honestly.

that's right and that's the risk of investing in memecoin, because the risk is very big and the price will definitely be difficult to recover, unless memecoin that we invest is hype, then the price will definitely increase very high and when the price increases (already get profit), then I suggest to sell it immediately, because memecoin is not good for long term investment.
They can invest their money in tamadoge as memecoin, but they have to know the risks, and we can only suggest investing what you can afford and don't exceed it. The memecoin hype may be coming again as so many memecoins are currently on the market or yet to be launched. And each memecoins say they are the best among the others, so this makes many people feel that investing in memecoin is still worth it. Whatever it is, do not exceed the budget that you can afford. Otherwise, you will regret it later when your investment cannot increase.
3251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: June 04, 2023, 04:49:35 PM
We can teach kids about bitcoin but let them choose what they will do once they grow up. If they still want to learn more about bitcoin and use it like we do, then great for them because they can try to make money for a living. But if they are not interested and prefer other things, we cannot impose our will on them. They also desire to grow and be recognized as we already have. So maybe it's better to direct them towards things that can make money so they can choose that when the brand matures. It's better to teach many things that can give results than telling them to follow what we do because everyone has their own desires.
3252  Economy / Economics / Re: I hear de-dollarsotaion over and over again it's funny on: June 04, 2023, 03:53:57 PM
No one knows. You should not take it too seriously and better focus on yourself. The government is thinking about it and maybe it has preceded it but other countries haven't followed suit. And don't worry too much about the news you read because a lot of fake news just wants to make people worry.

I also heard about de-dollarization but I'm not affected and still focus on bitcoin only. It won't happen quickly but through a long process but I don't know. I don't want to think about it too much, either.

3254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: June 04, 2023, 02:11:05 PM
As we can see/read, the majority are saying it was not, and probably because luck doesn't give any assurance.
We can win somehow, of course, but that doesn't mean every time we gamble in the casino (as an example) we are too lucky and get home and have money because sometimes we got home empty. With the unstable winnings and income we got from doing this, I believe that's enough to say that gambling can never be considered a source of income.
Most people are not ready to accept their defeat and instead continue to play gambling, hoping to recover from their defeat. That makes them experience more and more losses because they don't even know whether continuing to play gambling can bring luck so they can win a lot of money or if they will still experience bigger losses than before. Moreover, if they decide to make gambling a place, they will be even more disappointed because gambling is not a place to make money but only a place to have fun. If they could think that it was wrong thinking, they should be able to find other places where they could make money.
3255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: June 04, 2023, 01:15:42 PM
Addiction is something that could really be solved out with self will, it is really just that there are people who doesnt really mind off about the consequences and this is why they would really just simply
tolerate out their addiction into its fullest and this is why unfortunate events and situations would really be that something that would really surely happen into you. You would really be having only that feeling
of regret on the time that everything is messed up. Therefore, if  you dont really like for this to happen then you should really be that wise on making up decisions because if you dont then
it would really be that common that you would really be able to face up the consequences.

In speaking about addiction on which we a certain individual would definitely be doing all sorts of things as long as they could be able to play up no matter what. They dont really care on the current condition
or finances that they do have because they would really be that confident that they do still have money on their pockets until the time comes when they do realize that they have none already.
This is where self realizations would kicked in.
They don't do that because they have entered into the temptation of gambling, so they don't think that what they have done gambling is making them lose a lot of money. They are not aware of it and instead, increase the amount of money used for gambling. And when they lose a lot, they're disappointed and angry and don't try to figure out why it happened. If they can be wise while playing gambling and still not be tempted to continue, they can reduce the amount of the money of losses and even stop before they lose more money.

Many people have experienced gambling addiction, whether it's heavy or mild gambling addiction. But some people still realize that they have started to get addicted and try to reduce their time and money to play gambling. They are the ones who can survive and are not addicted to gambling because they can resist the temptation to play gambling.
3256  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 04, 2023, 10:57:08 AM
As we know, many gambling sites have Kyc requirements when making withdrawals. Some people may not have a problem with this condition, but some people think differently about doing Kyc. Some people refuse to fill in their Kyc data for fear of being misused. That's a natural thing, but is the worry too much?

Kyc actually has a function to prevent dangerous actions, such as money laundering. In addition, Kyc can also protect customers from account breakers.

Now there are several gambling sites that do not require Kyc to withdraw funds. That's good news. But I don't know if big money withdrawal need Kyc or not. I've never withdrawn much money.

Are you one of those who agree or refuse to fill out kyc on gambling sites? So far, the Kyc that you have filled in on the gambling site is safe? I've never had a problem with the Kyc that I filled out at the gambling site. Have you ever felt cheated from Kyc submitted?

I don't know what you meant by "safe" though, no one is safe in this world, although we shouldn't give our personal data, those that are receiving it has the responsibility to protect it my any means, otherwise they will be liable by law to pay hefty fines if ever there will be a data leakage about their customers.

So it's very important to them, on the other hand, we might not be comfortable giving it out. However, we really don't have a choice now. There is this whole crypto regulation slowly crippling it in the last 5 years including casinos and exchanges and if we want to still enjoy it, I guess it's going to be mandatory now to submit KYC.
Perhaps "safe" means that no casino will get hacked, but I agree that nothing in this world is safe, especially when that data is already on the internet. Hacking can happen at any time and on any site, so we must be careful if we want to verify by sending personal data.

Regulations from the government try to suppress crypto casinos so that crypto users who often play gambling at crypto casinos experience the impact of these government regulations. We must verify by doing KYC because we still want to use the casino to play gambling. But I don't think this has stopped newer casinos that aren't as strict from being able to get new users moving away from casinos that have overly strict KYC regulations.
3257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: June 03, 2023, 06:16:50 PM
We invest in altcoins to get profits but to get the right altcoins, we have to really be able to choose them because not all altcoins can increase and if we buy the wrong ones, we can experience losses. Only with research can you find the altcoin; it will take time before you can find hidden gems. That's why we have to be able to analyze and find a lot of information to find the altcoins.

But if you feel it's too hard for you, you can invest in bitcoin and forget about altcoins because you can't find them. Or you can invest in the top list of altcoins that you can choose as your investment. But you should know that you only use the money you can afford to invest in altcoins because altcoin movements follow bitcoin movements.
3258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 03, 2023, 05:42:38 PM
People are just realizing that suicide doesn't solve problems if they really want to solve problems, whatever the cost. But sadly, not many people are able to think clearly when they have a problem, including a gambling problem because it is like the end of their life.

This is a sad story that we read and wish we didn't experience it. We really have to be able to take care of ourselves so we don't get addicted to gambling like other people experience. We still have a bright future, as long as we are willing to change and have the determination to change it. I believe we will definitely get help from the people around us especially if we can be honest with them.
3259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Allow To Undergo Hypnosis If A Professional Recommend To Cure Gambling on: June 03, 2023, 05:19:30 PM
even though hypnosis is the fastest way to restart someone's mind, especially a gambling addict, but I personally would not want to do that hypnosis

some people say that for the long term, hypnosis will affect someone's mind and maybe i will lose my consciousness in the long term, I'd rather fight myself to stop gambling than do hypnosis
If hypnosis can help a person cure his gambling addiction, he should try it for his own good and be free from it. Maybe there will be more gamblers who want to try it because they must feel pressured by the feeling of gambling addiction.

I think with hypnosis, your mind to gamble will be blocked, and when you are invited by your friends to play gambling, you will firmly refuse. You need a strong will to stop gambling because it's not easy when you already have a gambling addiction. But it's worth a try.
3260  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: June 03, 2023, 04:43:22 PM
That's right. I'm not sure about the site in the OP, but scammers use "NO KYC" sign as often as unreal bonuses and stuff like that today. If you are not a high level criminal or corrupted official who want to launder millions of dirty USD you shouldn't be afraid of KYC. Don't be lured by shady sites, guys, only because they promise no KYC. Research further.
The gambling industry is no longer a safe haven where players may place bets on games and collect their winnings; there are constantly complaints here and there. Scammers exist in several sectors of online sites, and their methods of approach are the same; they make it look legitimate and also provide bonuses that can never be withdrawn; it's simply a glitch of money stuck on your gambling account. 'NO KYC' expands over the area, and the majority of gamblers preferred it all in form to manage their objectives and means of producing fast money.
That's right. A promising casino can't guarantee it will be the best one for us. Therefore, we must do further research to understand if the casino is really good and will not cheat us or if the casino can cheat us later after we are done gambling. Never be tempted by attractive offers from casinos, especially if you have never played there. The experience of other people playing gambling in casinos will be different from what we get because we are in different places, and there may also be additional regulations that we must know. For now, it looks like NO KYC is a difficult thing to get except for web-based casinos that only need to connect a personal wallet to connect to the casino. Apart from that, the casino can ask us to do KYC later.
