3241  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance unverified account on: March 31, 2022, 11:54:41 PM
It's likely the same as what they said in the past that they will restrict unverified users but actually, they never implemented the restriction they only say that thing to warn their unverified users or to get a few people that submit documents so that they can submit collected documents if it needed by authorities.

I hope that you posted what date did you create your account and maybe only old existing users can be able to do that because I heard that old existing accounts can still be able to trade, deposit, and withdraw. I also heard that new users' accounts can't be able to deposit and it does not show any address unless they are KYC verified.
3242  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Wallet adress? on: March 31, 2022, 11:31:51 PM
To make it clear this is what you talking about where you create or click a new address under receive tab

Under the address, it should show an only address that starts with bc1(Segwit) or 1(Legacy) so what you did from the address tab and created one receive address is the BTC address of your wallet. If you click new address it will generate a new address but still, it's your wallet Bitcoin address that you can find from the addresses tab pointing by hosseinimr93. To make it clear here's the image below

3243  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Installing Armory on Linux on: March 31, 2022, 11:08:53 PM
Actually never heard of that link here on the forum so it's not recommended to install the package repository from an unknown source only download Armory wallet directly from their official website.

You can follow the guide from this link on how to build Armory From Source

- https://btcarmory.com/docs/building/

Or just download the Linux version here https://btcarmory.com/0.96.5-release/
3244  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Can I safely run my S17+ hashboard with 2 missing heatsinks - long term on: March 31, 2022, 06:49:32 PM
If it's not shorted you can run them safely but the problem is sometimes Bitmain's firmware if they detect an incorrect amount of ASIC chips in one of your hash boards that Hashboard will automatically stop mining except on modded firmware like BraiinsOS.

The above post is right its easy to reattach them but without BGA hot air tool you can't able to reattach them.
3245  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166 Pro - 78T on: March 31, 2022, 06:41:40 PM

ECMM [1] is pointing to a bad connection or control board problem according to Canaan description logs. The miner status also shows only 2 hash boards detected.

What I would like you to try is to test all hash boards one by one also test all ribbon cables if they are working fine before we consider the MMboard is broken.
3246  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17+ - chain 2 can't get enough hashrate reg val for on: March 31, 2022, 06:31:18 PM
The first log you quoted above seems have dead ASIC chips. We can't determine the issue without checking it physically better check the hashboard chain [2] there are 5 test point to check if there are dead or shorted ASICs.

You can follow the guide from this link below.

3247  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Problems with all my Avalon machines on: March 30, 2022, 11:48:53 PM
I suggest copying your miner API logs and posting them here so that we can check the issue of your miner.

Sometimes miners do not work if you pasted a pool with extra or missing characters or have extra spaces. Typing manually should fix your issue.
3248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do i insert Images? on: March 29, 2022, 11:12:41 PM
How do i insert images within my post? Not a link to an image. I'm pressing the "insert image" button & assumed it would allow me to upload from computer. I also cannot copy/paste an image. All I get is IMG surrounded by brackets.

I don't think other people notice the rank of your account but the newbie account does not allow you to post any images except by pasting the image URL.

Only Jr. Member above can able to insert an image here on the forum (Better read more here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0) you can also buy Copper member here on the forum to remove the limitation.

But since you already have 1 merit I think sooner you will be Jr. Member and can able to post images.
3249  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: My Wallet dont work. its still Offline on: March 29, 2022, 04:43:54 PM
And take note if you are going to install bitcoin core you need to disable prune mode because it is enabled by default.

It's also become offline if your PC date and time are not set properly.

Other solutions can be found here https://www.bitcoinarmory.com/troubleshooting/
3250  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best wallet for iOS which connects to your own node on: March 29, 2022, 03:25:31 PM
So you are looking for a lightning wallet that supports IOS and requires its own node?

Yes you can check Zeus or Breez wallet and if you are looking for more lightning wallets check this link below
- https://lightningnetworkstores.com/wallets

Take note only Zap wallet is the best if you are looking for the best lightning wallet and I don't know why you said unsupported. Would you mind checking this guide below

3251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Migrating OS; Bitcoin Core from Win to Linux on: March 28, 2022, 11:50:25 PM
Adding this from the post above on the first question yes the block data from Linux should be compatible with Windows just make sure to copy both chainstate folder and block folder and transfer it to your Windows OS.

And according to Achow101 from this post, it's advisable to install the same version of Bitcoin core due to the different database versions.

You can read this thread below it might answer some of your doubts.

3252  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Send untraceable and anonymous payment on: March 28, 2022, 11:13:10 PM
I think you did the right thing.
We already have a guide here created by our admin that you can follow check this thread below it includes CoinJoint.

- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5146241.0

Alternatively, you can use a mixer or tumbler like Chipmixer but the problem is it only supports Bitcoin but it's totally untraceable because the last transaction is being stuck at Chipmixer and you will receive a clean BTC that you can able to spend any time.
3253  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Help !!Find bitcoin mining software with a white down arrow icon on: March 28, 2022, 11:04:25 PM
Thanks for your comment. My friend can't remember the name of the software so it's hard to determine if it's real or a scam. I have someone who knows the name of BTC mining software with a white arrow pointing down

White arrow I have never seen any Bitcoin mining that has an icon with an arrow all BTC mining software here like CGminer or BFgminer do not have icons or other miners use only Bitcoin icon with a pickaxe.

I tried to search but I can't find a bitcoin mining with a white arrow the result only shows Cloud mining but the arrow is black pointing up not down.
Take note all cloud mining is most likely a scam.
3254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Freezing Bitcoin/Other Currencies (formulas, strategies, etc.) on: March 28, 2022, 10:51:29 PM
it occurs to me to look at the graph of all the coins one by one ... but it is not very efficient ....coinmarketcap allows you to see the coins with the highest growth in the last hour but these currencies are not necessarily the ones with the steepest rises it would be more useful to be able to see in order the currencies with the highest growth/worst percentage in the last 10 minutes.

Are you talking about Gains and losers? You can find it on Cryptocurrencies near the Coinmarketcap logo or use this link below
- https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/

Or if you are looking for other tools you can check this https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/trending
That link is the same as Gainers and Losers in Coinmarketcap.
3255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin core exploit alert on: March 28, 2022, 10:37:25 PM
i use Malwarebytes

i download today Bitcoin Core version v22.0.0 from https://bitcoin.org  and I continued  download blocks from where I left off -10 august 2017

I have not received any more alerts in 2 hours download

progress 0.10 % per hour

So Malwarebytes is your Antivirus?

Actually, it's not an antivirus it is an Anti-malware tool you should have an Anti-virus to protect your PC from virus attacks Kaspersky would be the best option, I tested them for more than 9yrs.

So there is a possibility that your PC is infected not the Bitcoin core itself if you scan the Bitcoin core to VirusTotal it's totally clean even with Malwarebytes or other AntiVirus like Kaspersky.

Do you have Anti-virus installed on your PC other than Malwarebytes?
3256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bad way of storing keys?/ on: March 28, 2022, 10:10:30 PM
Take note according to Google M.2 memory has 8 to 10 years of life so if you are planning to hold them for more than that you must make a physical backup.

A paper backup or stainless or metal to backup your seed phrase physically you can buy Cobo vault or keystone tablet as a common steel backup tool to hold your keys or backup seed phrase for more than 10years.

I have actually HDD with old coins and tokens but can't able to revive it all of my HDDs are 2nd hand so I do not know what will be the exact lifespan of HDDs but according to Google, it's around 5 years.
Not good to have an HDD with coins holding it for a long time because there is a big possibility that they will die in the future without recovering your coins from your HDD. Unlike having a physical metal/stainless steel backup.
3257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transferring wallet.dat file and getting an Open wallet failed error on: March 27, 2022, 11:48:12 PM
Annoyingly pretty sure I have some coins in the file too as I never spent them back in the day!

Did you successfully import or paste the wallet.dat file from the right wallet folder? But still do not show any balance.

Would you mind checking the addresses from windows>receiving addresses then checking them manually on blockchair.com then let's see if one of the used addresses has funds on the explorer.

3258  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to convert bech32 address to hash160 in python? on: March 27, 2022, 11:05:36 PM
I search a bit and found a python code that can convert bech32 to hash160 I don't if this is the exact script you looking for but read this

Quote from: Question
Is there a way to get to the hash160 address from bc1q34aq5drpuwy3wgl9lhup9892qp6svr8ldzyy7c

Yes, you could use the reference implementations in various languages to encode and decode a bech32 address. For example, I have decoded the sample address you mentioned in the question, bc1q34aq5drpuwy3wgl9lhup9892qp6svr8ldzyy7c, using python below. The decode function gives us the witness version (0 in this case) and a byte array.

import bech32

address = "bc1q34aq5drpuwy3wgl9lhup9892qp6svr8ldzyy7c"
address_decoded = bech32.decode("bc", address)

address_decoded  # a tuple containing witness version and bytearray of the address
>>> (0, [141, 122, 10, 52, 97, 227, 137, 23, 35, 229, 253, 248, 18, 156, 170, 0, 117, 6, 12, 255])

bytes(address_decoded[1])
>>> b'\x8dz\n4a\xe3\x89\x17#\xe5\xfd\xf8\x12\x9c\xaa\x00u\x06\x0c\xff'

Also, check this Github link below and might be useful on converting bech32

3259  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Socket connect failed: Connection refused on: March 27, 2022, 10:21:23 PM
Thanks, I already updated the firmware from a gui. Would doing so with an sd card make a difference?

Upgrading and flashing through an SD card is totally different from flashing it will erase and replace the firmware upgrading is just like patching the firmware.

You can also try to remove the Chain[2] and test two hashboard if it's running fine.

If it doesn't solve your issue try to run them one by one or test each hashboard one by one.
You can follow this guide "Test hashboard one by one" as reference.

Update here for any changes on the kernel logs.
3260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin core exploit alert on: March 26, 2022, 11:51:41 PM

What exactly Antivirus you are using?

It seems few nodes or peers are being blocked by your antivirus I suggest you if you want to run and sync the Bitcoin core better exclude Bitcoin from scanning or disable your Antivirus or switch to another antivirus because your AV is giving false-positive reports. I'm using Kaspersky but it doesn't give any false reports.
