Unfortunately Salah and Van Djik were injured in this game just at a crucial time at the end of the season with key matches left in EPL and the CL final! Thats pretty much the price that they had to pay for the trophy, Chelsea would be playing as intense as it can gets because this is pretty much the only trophy that they could get. It might not be the best trophy the team could get but atleast its something to end the season with but aside from that, the EPL race is pretty much over already as I dont see how City will lose their remaining games. As for the CL final, there are still two weeks to go and its enough time for the players to recover ( hopefully ) I expect Liverpool to experience this injuries problems because Jürgen Klopp hardly rotates he only changes players that he he think are replaceable but he don't touch some players in the team, players like Robertson, Alex Arnold, van Dirk, Fabinho, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane these players can play for three months without missing a single game and is not good, he has been lucky with it in previous season, it will be a dissaster and a big disadvantage if Mohamed Salah miss the champions League final through injury. Well he does and doesn't rotate them at the same time. As you said they might play successively for a long period then let them rest for a couple of minutes of some games. Every game counts, and if he finds that Salah or Mane for example is not doing as good as he wants, then he will replace him. That's his strategy, he does have a substitute but there is key players especially in defence that is hard to not count on them especially that every match counts since months now! |

It was a boring game with no goals. Neither team seemed interested in it. Liverpool is basically out of the competition, but will focus all their efforts on the Champions League this season. They must be happy that they at least have this trophy now. Then at least they were able to get 1 prize. Against Madrid they have also good chances. But winning with penalties is not really convincing.
Well they grabbed a prize and they deserved it. They worked hard, Chelsea isn't an easy opponent after all. Now what could be disturbing is the unnecessary injuries in this game that could impact the other competitions. Overall, Liverpool this season is on fire and should continue like that. |

Milan have all the chance to achieve the Serie A title this season. They just need to keep being consistent in the remaining games as well. They are already two points ahead and moreover they are better than Inter as for their head-to-head games in this season of the Serie A. It is like all of the things point a title for Milan at the end. But this shouldn't affect Milan in a bad way like being too complacent. And I've no doubt they won't be like that. I believe Milan will keep winning by this week too.
Milan will face Atalanta then Sassuolo. Not as easy games as it looks. I assume they will suffer a lot in it and that Atalanta might make them lose some points and this will be a chaotic scenario! While Arsenal was missing a big opportunity to guarantee Champions League ticket they also lost many important defenders. Holding is missing for red card, Gabriel is injured -hopefully he'll be ok- they couldn't even finish the game with natural defenders. Arsenal lost more than three points. They lost to their direct opponent for fourth place and their possible third place chance is also gone.

Real Madrid had such an awesome game against Levante that it attracted my attention a lot. They demolished their opponent by 6-0 in Santiago Bernabeu. And Vinicius Junior was the player of the game for sure as he had 3 goals and 1 assist. Benzema scored another goal and reached 27 goals in the league too. Him and Vinicius have had an amazing season so far by many goals and assists.
I think most of us aren't surprised by Real Madrid large result vs Levante but Ancelotti did exactly what we expected by giving the opportunity to key players to play easy games with low risk of injury. Apart Sevilla, all top 7 teams fighting for European competitions spots won this weekend. |

sevilla are really hard to score goals in this match, some shots are always not on target even though their opponent is a relegation team which on paper Sevilla can easily silence Mallorca. But in fact no goals occurred until the last minute of the match ended in a 0-0 draw. Mallorca are also targeting 3 points to get out of the relegation zone but their efforts were unsuccessful in this match.
Mallorca is trying to escape the relegation zone, ok, but Sevilla is being weird for weeks comparing to the start of the season.. Goals and victory is becoming rarer. They generally score 1-2 goals, dominance without effet, many missed opportunities and so on. They wouldn't be in top 4 if they played like that from the beginning! |

Nice got up to the 4th position on the log following Rennes loss away at Nantes, While Nice victory sent Saint Etienne straight into the relegation spots. With 2 games to go; will Saint-Etienne beat the drop ? will Nice or Rennes get the champions league spot ?
Nice victory was expected but how come Rennes lose! After scoring first, Nantes flipped the table and won 2-1... Now this defeat might wake them up to play better vs Marseille and let Monaco advance to the 2nd place  For St-Etienne, it would be hard to get out of the relegation zone but surviving in Ligue 1 could be possible with relegation play-offs. |

Why do you think that they needed to force their luck by getting a draw while they can win both of those last games? There isnt that many differences of goals between Liverpool and City so if somehow they get a draw or worst case scenario, lose a game then Liverpool will have a solid chance of catching up. Obviously that would be foolish to not get 6 points especially when they no longer need to compete in UCL Man City is scoring 3 goals at least in their latest games and it is crashing its opponents with 5 goals in these last 2 games. They are serious about getting EPL title this season so yeah, I doubt they will let it go and drop points vs West Ham and Aston Villa. The only possibility might be Liverpool dropping points in the next game and they guaranteed the title before the last match. Now for Everton, how could they let 3 points from Watford go like that! Just a draw in such match is disappointing, luckily Leeds lost vs Chelsea.. |

Someone said yesterday that it was impossible for Fiorentina to beat Roma and Atalanta. They easily beat Roma yesterday and it looks like they are serious about getting into the European cups next season. If they can win their last two matches, one of which is against Juventus, they will have a good chance.
Fiorentina scored 2 goals earlier and literally killed the game. Roma was unable to do anything later. I am pretty sure that most people expected Roma to score at least 1 goal, to win maybe but definitely a Fiorentina win isn't that impossible. I am a bit impressed about Fiorentina, they did good although they don't have Vlahovic anymore with them. Picking an European spot will be a very good achievement although it isn't that easy. |

Last rounds games are the worst to predict. I think Nice and Rennes will win their games tomorrow. For Saturday, St-Etienne and Metz will fight furiously more than their opponents so I think they could win it. PSG games have to be avoided since they have nothing to fight for. Lyon, Strasbourg and Monaco to win. Rennes - OM is the best match imo, very hard to predict followed by Nice - Lille. I am counting for Rennes and Nice to win but I won't be surprised to see the opposite. |

It's already 90 minutes as Barcelona humiliate Celta d Vigo 3-1.Barcelona in this game have shown full energy as they look forward to finishing in the top four finish this season after a poor start to the season.Thank God for Xavi Hernandez who came in to rescue them from where they were.He came in and brought the likes of Aubameyang from Arsenal and Adama Troure from Wolves,they both came in and created huge impact on the team as a whole.With the way Barcelona played this season,I am pretty sure they will contend for the Lalliga tittle next season.
Barcelona was quite safe to end in the first 4 teams before that game and after it, they almost confirmed the second place. Anyway, Barca is better, played good, Aubemayang showed impressive skill overall in his game with Barcelona. Liverpool really need to dig in hard to win this one. Aston had a good game. Fair play to Aston villa, worked hard and looked very dangerous at times. It is a shame that they couldn't spoil their party, but were encouraged by what I've seen tonight. Just hope we can keep this level of intensity up for the remaining games. A nd created a lot of chances against a very good team. Liverpool aren't looking as fluid or fast as they did but its understandable, later stage of the season, games coming every few days, 3points and onto the next. Looking forward to the final.

Leipzig are safe now against Freiburg. I think like this because I don't believe that Freiburg can make a big comeback next week. It is the end of the season then and it is their only chance. But they need Leipzig to lose and they need to win their own game at the same time. I don't believe Leipzig would even draw with Bielefeld. They would play very eager to win and defeat Bielefeld. Freiburg are playing against Leverkusen away maybe but Leverkusen's place in the league table is already guaranteed. So they can beat Leverkusen in fact. But Leipzig wouldn't get the result Freiburg would like.
