3242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Lending Thoughts? on: January 21, 2021, 10:50:33 PM
There are a bunch of options for high interest from crypto lending. But there are 2 big risks:

1. Since you have to give possession of the coins to the lending company, they can be hacked and you can lose everything (I understand Celsius has insurance, what does it cover?)
2. The borrower collateral will be worth nothing after a crash and you will not get the interest you are promised.

So are they all too much of a risk? What happens after a crypto crash? Or are any of them safe because they collect a lot more collateral from borrowers than is needed?

About the question if its insured.

Fireblocks and PrimeTrust, our custodians, both provide insurance on assets. However, we generate interest rewards by lending out the assets to onboarded partners. When these assets are lent out, they are not insured.
All of our coin loans are collateralized up to 150%, meaning the borrower gives Celsius an alternative asset as collateral for the asset they are borrowing.

snipped out from: https://support.celsius.network/hc/en-us/articles/360002174718-Do-you-have-an-insurance-policy-

In talks of crypto lending then it is always accompanied with risk and you should really be prepared for it.

3243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uses $25 million of electric a day on: January 21, 2021, 09:39:32 PM
you guys obsessing over Bitcoin's exact amount of carbon emissions is hilarious.

we all know it's a lot when compared to other payment methods with similar transaction volumes to Bitcoin.

at the end of the day, who cares? carbon emissions/global warming are such big, vague issues that we will always put the blame on other people.
it's simply the most rational thing to do from a game theory perspective.

Trying to put focus only on Bitcoin on how much it do uses and do affect when it comes to carbon emissions? If we do look on the global scale of problems then
how about on putting up some attention about car industries? on how big they do really contribute into these emission talks? It seems like they do already
hadnt enough things to play on but rather on focusing on things of finding issues with Bitcoin. Just let it be and this isnt the problem that we
are just facing now.
3244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 21, 2021, 08:37:42 PM
Relentless efforts for 20 years continuously without giving up on it itself is a huge accomplishment and probably that is the result which they as a couple have received it. An erroneous amount of money finally won which would have successes their years of efforts to buy the lottery with same number and luck just made it happened in the end. I would never continue this long years after not winning and would have changed the numbers.

Very determine and really believing that one day luck will backe their number up!

Now that they finally catched the big jackpot, it's time to move forward and plan everything ahead, it's a huge amount of money but also very decietful as it will let you to changed up and live the dream life that you always wanted to have, this couple needs to make sure that they'll be able to take care of everything and save big part of their winning for their family's future.
Since theyre already old then its not bad to cherish up the rest of years that they had left on using up that money. Its up to theirs on how they do gonna spend it.
This isnt something that commonly happens on this world where your perseverance and determination does really result into something like this specially talking about
lottery where winning chances is way too slim.Thing here is that it did really pays off and imagine on how many years of constantly betting to lottery
isnt really simple not only on the effort but also on the money that had been spent. It did really pays off in the end or really worth off.
3245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: January 21, 2021, 07:31:28 PM
*btw, we discuss things that will not be answered...
even when the Bitcoin price went up to $ 40k Satoshi didn't show him/herself!! Satoshi is a truly anonymous, it is not important to him/her to show identity. respect for her/him.
We dont even know if this man/women is already dead, right? We have been searching for satoshi the whole time but still we do fail to do so and just like with his creation
then he decided to be anonymous and taking off governments eye away from him knowing that his creating is really a big threat due into its decentralized aspect.
Lots had claimed that they we're satoshi and all of them ending up on being a imposter. So finding him after this very on point will be somewhat useless.
We shouldnt stress ourselves for this matter because if he would decide to show himself in the public then all will definitely know.
3246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach 100K! OK and then? on: January 20, 2021, 11:46:01 PM
the purpose of bitcoin is unlimited and will continue to grow over time.
The main purpose is to be the same as fiat/cash that we use for paying, good as money for transactions. The next one is being a digital asset which some institutions and economic expert can't still accept it.

Potential of bitcoin to grow is unstoppable. Although its future is unknown but to determine it today up to the next years to come, it's certain here to stay and it shall pass $100k.

The main goal is to serve its purpose, it's indeed to act as like fiat placing all the authorities with the owners hand and not into institutional banking system.

There's no correct amount of value since adoptions and acceptance will serve as the deciding factors to weight on how Bitcoin will rise up, with limited supplies vs the numbers of possible users that will adopt this system, we can't say accurately but it will  more valuable in the future, we've seen the glimpse and once it continue doing the same, who knows it will be more than what we expect it might be.
Nothing stops it from becoming a more valuable asset and cryptocurrency in the future. The fluctuations that we see around, we're used to it and it's part of itself being a valuable king of cryptocurrencies.

The goal of it is being served but at the same time, it's also showing another purpose that we're enjoying as an asset.

It wont be called a market if we wont see that fluctuation thing because those movements  does indicates that there a demand into it and without those then
we can really say that this one is manipulative. Reaching 100k isnt something a level that can be achieved and we do need a certain level of adoption and recognition
for us to get up that high.Whats next? we would hope for higher and we wont stop because we do much prefer on seeing the price way more higher than it was before
or into those levels where it do show its peak. The higher the better and  does indicate that we are doing well.
3247  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Online betting odds on: January 20, 2021, 10:19:35 PM
What surprises me the most is how they can keep making so many victims and the authorities are not intervening in any way. 1xbet has once been fined 400,000 eur, but 1xbit seems to get away with everything. The company behind this also seems to be secret.
That really brings up more suspicion on the team or management behind of this company neither they had been backed or something which they are still operating as of todays
in spite on having lots of issues that had bring on the table.Seems like they do continue to scam out everyone as they please and it seems there no one who had been
taking action with this act. The only thing we can do for now is to spread up the awareness of this scam site for people to stay away on using and make deposits into this place.
It turns out to be completely useless if we do just made out some verbal argumentations.
3248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Self moderating campaigns on: January 20, 2021, 08:59:20 PM
I want to hear people's thought about self moderated bounty campaigns, are they even safe at all? If you've promoted any bounty project with self moderated strategy by the bounty manager please drop your end result experience here, thank you
Whats being self moderated? Are you talking about the thread they do make or trying to moderate out something outside of this forum?
If yes, then that would really be always giving out that suspicious side of things where transparency will really be in question or would be behind on the curtains.
If i were you then its better to stay away on this one because you cant just trust up and put your effort and waste of your time in garbage like this.
You can choose into other projects yet lots of them are flooding out the market which you can really make a choice.
3249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the price of Doge Coin this coming week on: January 20, 2021, 07:55:08 PM
What will be the price of Doge Coin this coming week?

Anyone?
Any idea?

Even if you do ask out with the price of main crypto which is Bitcoin then no one can still able to predict on what would it be on next hour or day or months or years.
Same goes or applied to altcoins as well.If there are people who do know on what would happen ahead then they can make theirselves rich on just simply buying out
on possible low price and later on they would sell out when they do already make profits and we know that this is only happening into dreams.
There's no way a man could able to predict the future but basing off with some fundamentals or analysis then we can really make out some presumptions.
About DOGE? i dont see any significant news that would be the reason for such rise.
3250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 20, 2021, 06:59:28 PM
People need to stop with the boxer going to ufc.  UFC IS A wide difference of skills.  Ufc fighter in a top boxing match will always lose, and vice versa a boxer going inside the octagon will pretty much always lose. Just like any other sport.  Just because X guy is the top basketball player in the world, doesn't mean he can go on tour and beat the world's top golfers.  Its a different set of skills.  This cross sport thing needs to stop its embarrassing to these athletes

I'm 1000% agree with that. People should stop all these pro athlete vs regular guy competitions or cross sport competitions. Specially in contact sport or sport where someone can be injured due to lack of skills. It makes me sad and angry that boxing match between Mayweather vs youtuber gets more attention than Tyson vs RJJ. The only thing that is ok is "dance with the star" Grin but people managed to get injured there.

All these ufc fighter vs boxer is same intrigue as mathematician vs wrestler in trigonometry olympiad. Both know how to sum, subtract, but only one knows formulas.

Agree into this point!

But when matter is the main deal on here then you would really be expecting for this kind of trend to continue. There might be injuries but that would be less
because they will surely tell their boxers/players that they should limit out their own force to avoid those situations. If we do really tend to see a real fight
and not just trying to pretend to be one then that will really be causing some devastation to those noobs who do jump together with a lion in the ring.
You can see the differences so obviously.
They wont really care on what others would say as long they can make or earn money with this type of cross sports fighting or exhibition then they will push it to happen or to push through even if it would be raining with lots of criticisms towards the event. There are haters but for sure there are fans as well who are excited for this kind of fight which seeing their idols do clash out into the ring and you are right that they would really be limited on giving those true or real punches and you are right that you will really able to picture out on what it looks like on fighting a pro on a certain sport while you are just noob inside the ring.
3251  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 20, 2021, 05:36:29 PM
1.   Are central banks digital currency really money? The poll result was Yes (33.8%) and no (66.2%)
2.   Are crypto currencies really money? The poll result was; Yes (79.9%) and no (20.1%)
What is your opinion about these polls?

Reaction with this? This do simply shows that people arent already confident nor do able to trust up centralized fiat anymore and much more preferred on the decentralized side of things.
Poll result somehow wont really be that a strong basis because majority of them are really crypto lovers and if that poll would be post up in general place (not crypto related)
for sure we might see an another set of result.
For those people who do see cryptocurrences are money, well they arent right and they arent wrong either. We do know that it all matters with the demand on seeing that a certain
coin does have able to get some market value and this wont fit out every single one of them.
3252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 19, 2021, 11:59:16 PM
Crypto is ruled soon by sec and goverment its not goodw

Make your cash and get out of crypto
Pepple dont like regulated things fuck rules and regulations crypto is freedom if the goverment start fuck woth our bitcoins and crypto then its not good

We stay for using cash

Do you realized on what are those words you do spit out into your own mouth? Centralized or control you do say? Government had been doing this for almost a decade.
They cant suppress on something which is decentralized and if you do try to look at on how Bitcoin do able to bypass centralization then you might really have different words in your mouth.

Dont try to drag up people to believe into these bullshit if you dont know on what you are talking about.Even though services and platforms can really be regulated or
when government can really be having some intervention but doesnt mean that it would really be having the full control.
3253  Economy / Gambling / Re: Zamabet - Fair Crypto Casino on: January 19, 2021, 10:50:10 PM
Welcome to the forum Zamabet.

To have some attractive ANN thread then its better to have that Copper Membership for you to able to post up pictures and
making this ANN thread a little bit colorful.
Towards side design comment then it is just plan and simple, it does lack FAQ section too. I havent check out the games 1 by 1 but these are just the typical
ones that had been flooded out in the market. How you would compete?
3254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: YODA good to invest at 1 satoshi ? on: January 19, 2021, 09:39:16 PM
OP is promoting this token because he bought it at peak. Shame of him, now he desparate how to sell this token while people dump this Yoda shit yobit token

yeah, seems the OP have a lot of YODA in his bag now, and they told people here about yoda with a lot of hope if people will start buy this yoda
but for sure most of people in this forum are smart now

People on this forum arent really that someone that can easily be hyped up or when someone do shilling up something.YODA? I do remember that this one is on Yobit exchange
which is the most shittiest exchange that we do have into this forum and lots or majority do knows on how shady and shit this exchange is after all these years.
Still go surprised that they are still running at the moment. Invest on 1 satoshi? It is hard to trust into this kind of coin yet this do rather show that it is
already near to value 0 or would totally go to the graveyard. If you can risk up then your choice but always mind off on the risk.
3255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 18, 2021, 11:39:42 PM
Yes, its possible to get rich with trading but it will vary on how you do well on making trades and how much you do risk out because profitability
will vary on how you do trade and this is where most people do have wrong perception towards it that trading can make them rich in no time
without even realizing on how hard to deal with it in reality.

It do requires lots of patience plus sufficient knowledge towards the market and how it moves. This isnt something that you can just
dive in and make money without any effort or hardship.
3256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Large capital advantage? on: January 18, 2021, 10:44:03 PM
I just want to ask what are your thoughts on having a large capital in gambling?
Does the capital matter in gambling? Is there any advantage if you have a large capital?

Since for me, it is always the same even large or less capital. Having large capital will only help you to stay longer on the table unless your bet size is huge too.

The larger the capital, the longer you can stay on the game.

The larger the capital, the more comfortable you are as you won't pressure yourself to win as you have a backup.

But for me, I like to have a small capital mindset so that I will pressure myself to win hence I will do everything not to lose so I will do a proper analyzation on all of my bets. But this mindset is not applicable when playing luck-based games.

Depends on how much percentage you had put in because even if you do have large capital and you do bet out 30% every single bet or game same goes into your behavior when you do have only
small capital then it would really be just the same. You will be having the same outcome or how long your capital would last.Thing here is that when you do have bigger amount is that you can
really adjust up your own analysis neither you would go with small or bigger bets according to your like not the same when you do have less bankroll which would
limit out your decisions and the only way i do see it as an advantage is on when you do able to enjoy even more time since you do have bigger money to spent.
3257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy fund manager spreading incredible FUD on: January 18, 2021, 09:44:43 PM
Everybody has their own opinion and surely some of them want to express it. This guy does not trust bitcoin and I respect his idea. However, It is clear that he does not spend much of his time to make research deeply on bitcoin and he is a conservative who put too much faith in gold. So don't let this guy tell you what to do. Having your own opinion is important. Don't invest in bitcoin if you dont own a perspicacious mind.

Personally, bitcoin can become digital gold but gold will not be replaced by bitcoin. Both of them will become important pieces of the financial. Together, they create a much more attractive market for us to jump on and take some money.

Sometimes lack of knowledge or ignorance, is the reason why people are hesitant to see what is in front of their eyes.
But if he will be open-minded and check the facts behind what he is talking about, maybe he will change his outlook in life.
We don't need other's opinion, just to change our perspectives towards a specific subject.
It is our duty, to educate ourself, so as not to be deceived by insights from self-proclaimed experts or known personalities.
Everyone can say something on basically anything. But at the end of the day, it is you, alone, who is responsible to take care of your own portfolio.
Mistake here is that most people are way too lazy on doing their job or assignment on verifying things up thats why most of the time they do just
fully rely on what they had heard or see in front of their eyes and try to believe it fully and when headaches or problems had been experience then
thats the time they do make out searches.Well, mistakes are the best teacher.People wont make an action or do learn up things first
until they do experience unfortunate events. About on those words then he does have some points but you can eventually tell
that there are lacking.
3258  Economy / Speculation / Re: When and How much low on next Bear Market? on: January 18, 2021, 08:44:14 PM
It is very interesting when we discuss when the bull market will end, because surely everyone has different opinions. Because it is very difficult
to predict the price movement of Bitcoin, even the increase in the price of Bitcoin to $ 40,000 no one expected. But usually if the Bitcoin price
increase is too high like now, usually in the near future there will be a bear market.

Based on my prediction the end of January the bull market will end, then my prediction regarding the lowest price Bitcoin that will occur in the next
bear market is that it will drop to $ 10,000. Because seeing the Bitcoin price that managed to go up above $ 40,000 if it fell back below $ 10,000
it seems unlikely. Hopefully my predictions are correct.
I disagree that it has to have a bear market very soon, after all we could potentially stay here for a while as well. Remember that 10k period? For nearly 6 months we have stayed in 10k price point , in 2019 it was really crazy because we were like 8k to 12k constantly without going any down or higher than that.
Theoretically, anything can happen (it could be dump or pump) cause the market trend is totally different from previous ATH market and evaluating the primary investors (which are the institutions) the momentum which the market will pose is determine by their decision if they choose to hold then will can only see fraction of market correction but if dump will happen that will be after the altcoin bullish end.
No man on this world would able to know on where this market will be heading. Its very unpredictable since from the start, we dont know if this one will be similar into those times that we had seen in previous years.
We dont know on how low it would go or how high it would be. Bear market is always next on the line but there are no indications on when it would happen. It can just happen without us knowing that it is already going down.
Thing here is that we do know on how to reach when this thing do happen, we do know on how to take opportunity to buy when its cheap because after such dip of price it will eventually
recover later on which means that is already a profit.
3259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 18, 2021, 06:27:28 PM
And as of the majority of those comments, people are in favor of Manny Pacquiao as he has the experienced and skills of a pro boxer, while McGregor, although is young, is not that experienced with boxing.

Of course, this is boxing, even thr4 best boxer in Pacquiao cannot beat him why someone who is an outsider in boxing, Mcgregor will be beaten and he will be mauled even if this is an exhibition match, but it's going to be entertaining and I want to see Pacquiao humbled McGregor, maybe after this fight, Manny can retire.
Not far from saying the very truth, even in exhibition fight Manny Pacquiao will defeat his co raver McGregor becasue of his strength inside the boxing ring. You have raised one important point about Manny Pacquiao retirement, hopefully after this fight or another he might set for his retirement as family members supported that.

When it comes to retirement talks then he's the only one would able to know on when he would definitely hang-off his gloves and retire and even though he's a current senator on said country
but still he do able to balance off things where his job + the sports he's into.He hadnt able to neglect his training and still continuing to maintain his body in shape.
We dont know if he tries to make money for this fight and definitely retire in boxing or we would see his last non-exhibition fight because we know that this fight
isnt really something serious to bring enjoyment on him as a fighter. McGregor is great but wont really be enough if he's inside the boxing ring.
3260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bitcoin surpasses the $60K level then it will hit higher than $100K on: January 15, 2021, 10:00:04 PM
Predictions are buzzing around the crypto space, with many thinking that it is not that crazy for BTC to reach 100K by the end of 2021.

Seeing how it reached 20K and higher before the end of 2020 is placing a lot of faith in BTC. Not many people thought BTC could make it to 20K, but by the end of 2020 BTC exceeded that by miles. So, depending on whether investors still see BTC more attractive than gold and other traditional methods, it is possible that this bull run may lead to 100K  Grin
We did only hope for the price to reach its ATH but bitcoin did really surprise us a lot when it able to break out even 25k levels or 30k without any effort or hardship or even on a short time period which we hadnt able to see
in all the years where bitcoin is still starting up or to those earlier years. If this run would really continue then expect that we would really be reaching 100k usd in no time even though i wont really believing that it can be attained nor achieved in this year 2021.There would be lots of sell-off points when those big investors or to those who do accumulate while its still cheap.Expect for a bumpy ride and those hopes shouldnt really be
widen to a certain extent on where you arent even making some unrealistic goals in mind.Set and secure profits while you can because this isnt an opportunity that can be seen for a while. Doubts? Im just playing
safely and secure. LOL!
