3241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying in this market downturn? on: December 16, 2021, 10:48:13 PM
Bitcoin
Ethereum
Binance Coin
Cardano
...

I've got some BTC, ETH, and BNB but I'd wanted to try on the new projects which I think are profiting than these coins. I'm not thinking about holding for many years but I was aiming for a short-term market deal which I saw that really works for new projects that have already been available in the market and been promoted in social media. I'm certain of looking for them, if there is someone who could address or link me, that is very much appreciated. Of course, thorough checking is vital until it was confirmed.
3242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better to invest your funds in if the alt season starts? on: December 16, 2021, 10:23:55 PM
Most new projects are going to become profitable in a short time as they likely get hypes, I want to have a ride with them, But, I'm actually out of the scope now which project to choose among these new projects since most of them are scams. Maybe I'd follow on your suggestions OP and some of the replies above.

Coz for now, I'm just focusing on the top altcoins but somewhat to see that they are less profiting this time. As I'm looking for short-term investment/trade, those in hypes coins are ideal.
3243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 16, 2021, 09:41:43 PM
I think the Lakers are just trying to have some fun with the Mavs to recover from the lead and catching up, and yeah they were bit overboard and went too confident that's why Mavs took it seriously to bury the Lakers in the 2nd quarter until the it reached overtime. Luckily Reaves made the last 3 points and closed the game in their favor to 107-104
That was a great game by Lakers but remember they were playing against Mavs and Mavs started the season so badly as well. Lakers is finally out of that play-in tournament spot and went to 6th and will stay there for a while I suppose, instead of 0.500 they are doing a lot better at 16-13 right now. However, the work is not done and they need to keep this win streak going to show that they are contenders. I mean at the start of the season when they started out, it was really not like this at all, they were seen as the biggest championship contender and now warriors looking more like it if you ask me, even suns look a lot better than Lakers.
Some teams really struggle, but it's not too late, we are not even halfway of the regular season, lots of changes would happen over time and what matters is that these teams are not really losing all the time. As for the LA Lakers, you can see that they have been winning games already compared to the early weeks where they lose even against a weaker team.
3244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 16, 2021, 09:09:04 PM

Anyway, let's talk about the games today.

How do you like the Nets' chances against the 76ers?

Nets all the way, they are playing at home and they are good at home. having a 9-5 record makes me believe that they'll win even if Harden is out, and I like the betting odds too because it should not be -1, they should be underdog if vegas think that Harden is a big lose to the team.
3245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 16, 2021, 12:39:07 PM

As expected for LeBron James even at his age of 37 years old. He's so committed in his physical training to give out his best in the court, trying to block any possible contact. He is reportedly to spend $1.5 Million to his fitness and physical trainings annually. So atleast, his investments to his body pays off.

That's just right because he is the king on NBA and he is making a lot of money, his salary alone this year already reach $41 million, plus he still has a lot of endorsement that would increase his income. We love to see him have more seasons and break the stats in the upper ranking.

3246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 16, 2021, 12:04:05 PM
We have 1-1 vote now but that was me who voted for Russell, please don't count that in, I made a mistake clicking it. LOL. Anyway, it doesn't matter as long as Magsayo would win, since Russell is probably the favorites to win here, I want to know how the community vote goes in this fight.
3247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 15, 2021, 09:49:36 PM
a boxer wannabe wont able to stand up once it do gets hit and its really hard to believe on that Mike would be losing on this one.
The only reason why Mike Tyson would lose is if this fight is intended for him to lose, you know what I'm saying? the rigged thing.....
Mike is a beast in the ring, but as he aged, his power also decreases and I'm not sure if he still have that punch that could KO a young fighter like Logan.
In terms of boxing skills, Mike has the edge.

Age does matter but for exhibition fights then it wouldnt really be a thing at all.
Let's see, but a huge age difference really does matter.
3248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 15, 2021, 09:42:48 PM

I really don't understand the reason behind this situation. AFAIK Irving isn't the only player in the NBA that isn't vaccinated but he's being made a scapegoat ?

I don't understand how they keep saying being vaccinated isn't compulsory and individual can opt not to take the shots, but then this ?

Depending on where you live as they have their rules as well, in the case of Irving, he is in New York and here's the rules is not good for him.

NYC Mayor-Elect Says City Won't Change Vaccine Mandate, Closing Door on Unvaxxed Irving
He has to abide, otherwise he won't be able to play, but in the case of Irving, he is not in a rush as he even sacrifice his salary just to stand his words.

And that would not change as the Mayor will always serve the interest of the majority, not Irving. The best way for Irving to play again is if he gets traded in a team that does allow to play their players despite being unvacinnated.

<<<< and I'm pretty sure Brownlee has already gained a lot of fans that would watch the game to see him as well.
He for sure gained some fans as he is the regular import of Ginebra, and not only that, he is also one of the best imports who make sure Ginebra will win in a tougher opponent, and he has proved already his worth as he gives a championship to Ginebra season's back.

What kind of work I can find here ? And where will I get it ?
I would be very happy and thankful to you  if you help me  Smiley

Create a thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 about what services you offer. Read different threads to get an idea of how to create an effective thread that catches buyer attention. Offer what you are best in not everything you know partially. As you are a new one so keep your rates low, focus on getting work first and then getting confidence of buyers. You can increase rate subsequently.
Perhaps, that was a good idea. But better to offer services that we think we are very good to it. However, we can just expect that we could get a client so quickly, they are also preferring those who can show a good portfolio and I think you OP have to prepare for it to gain interest.

Well, paying rates matter on what task needs, suggesting to a low pay rate may be reconsidered but of course, OP must assure that he would comply with what has been asked otherwise, a red tag has been sent and that gives him no chance to get work anymore.
3251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to Hit $150,000 in 2022 on: December 14, 2021, 03:00:58 AM
We seem to have lost this round already, this year I mean. The price prediction of Bitcoin as far as many supporters, even those realistic ones, are concerned within the year 2021 is that it could reach $100,000. I myself thought Bitcoin could reach that. It is now one hundred percent obvious that we cannot have that. So the next round is 2022. And I am once again fully convinced that $100,000 is such an easy target for the whole year. Inflation is going through the roof already. Bitcoin is people's best hedge.
I thought that we can make it and even going to surpass but it looks like we ended up very short to $100,000, maybe we only stop at very close to $50k. Maybe next year, we just wish for a better trend? But to think about $150,000, for me, that seems unrealistic. I can't either draw a strong price prediction this time as it eventually makes a huge change from time to time coz even market experts are also having difficulties now. Let's see how this holiday season affects the price and is able to beat the downtrend.
3252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to the crypto market now? on: December 13, 2021, 11:43:34 PM
Crypto continues dropping these few weeks which is more than a manipulation or a correction. It seems that crypto continues to crash and no chance for pump up in these few days. Is the bearish market starting? Or that’s the end of crypto?
Could anyone answer me?
It reminds us, everyone, that the market won't remain bullish always, to see a decline main that we are given the chance to buy some and start investing at a cheaper. It finds not usual for newcomers but for us who have been in the crypto space for many years, we actually understand the situation as so many factors that could affect the flow of the market demand and supply.

For now, we are suffering market decline but from what I see, we are still at the high level, not unless if we have 50% corrections already and the good this is that we're not yet there. The market is still healthy to see, Bitcoin is at about $45k and some altcoins are still in doing find and control the declines. I know we could make it through this and see the recovery in the coming days.

3253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is USDT? on: December 12, 2021, 10:13:07 PM
This is a question i had for a long time, ive seen majority of traders buy and trade crypto through USDT,they just blindly trust it ,as its purpose is that of a stable coin ,i.e. basically a crypto replacement for USD($).
But what if the company behind USDT decides to cheat its holders,is there any way we can find out before a complete disaster? (for e.g. they start minting more coins unnecessarily)
is there any safety mechanism or a red flag indicator before its too late?
We may come to that risk but for many years it existed in crypto and even called stablecoins, I can't even think that way, it was just overly negatively speculated. Because if we all just to think like then, what else we can trust. Who would spend money and risk in crypto? Though we can assure that it was 100% safe, however, I would make myself think that USDT is a safe asset.

If you are doubted about crypto, for everything inside crypto, I guess you don't need to talk like that. As these people place their money in crypto at risk, they are also aware of the possible ends whether it was a bad or good end.
3254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 12, 2021, 09:39:10 PM
i don't think that we are heading towards "Stable Market" the volatility of cryptocurrency will remain forever same as the value of Bitcoin.

in this i believe that we are just going through some hesitation from Holders and some manipulation about the whales , and the most affected one are the Newbies and weaklings .
I'm afraid that if this continues then many new comer will be again become loser and may not trust the market again like those who become victims after the 2017 Bull market and when 2018 comes all of them are losers .
The reason why people assume that it is getting more stable these days is the fact that we are living in low volume and low liquidity part of the market right now. Doesn't mean that it will stay like this, there is a good chance it could drop with a single bang and we would be all shocked, or it could skyrocket to 70k+ prices as well.

However, the situation right now is the fact that we are living in a world of stabilized market not because people are getting close on sell and buy orders and everyone is keeping it around these prices, it is mainly because there are not that many buyers or sellers. The ones who own bitcoin are mainly holding it, and the ones who are not in are not getting in, and there are some smaller number of traders who buy and sell between each other making some smaller amount of changes but that is about it. This is why the market looks a bit more stable these days.
They prepare to hold than to sell as they know that Bitcoin will grow more. They tried to picture what happened in its early days, nobody thinks this will be multifold many times and that is what they think right now. I may agree with that thing but something we don't live like this forever, without selling/buying, we can never expect the market to grow as well. And this gives a way to think that the volatility of the market stays and it moves up and down depending on the market demand and supply. It can never be stabelize, ever.
3255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't invest in anyone who? on: December 10, 2021, 09:39:37 PM
It gives learnings to you and sincerely feels bad about it. All I can say is that you never have to easily trust people, especially when talking about money.

..He first told me that I was a big investor and that newcomers would get their money back in four days. So I believe and invest 50$. He promised to pay me 550$ in four days. Shortly after investing in it, he said no. And lied in various ways.

Did you really believe that you could earn more than 1000% in 4 days? This mistake is made by a lot of newcomers who believe that money in the cryptocurrency market is so easy to "earn". Such offers are scam and you should not give your money in exchange for unrealistic promises.
Most of the time newcomers had fallen into huge money offering that these scammers use to trick innocent traders. I can imagine how OP wanted to earn some big bonuses out from it in just only 4 days in trading but sadly, he got into the trap and lose his money. I think, even a normal person can really sense that it was a scam but somehow, OP is too senseless or too blind not to see it.
3256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: December 10, 2021, 08:54:26 PM
What if this is only his strategy to be a mandatory challenger of Inoue, sorry for this wild imagination of mine. I was just thinking maybe he was tired of calling Inoue and he did not have the fight, so instead, he tries to be the challenger so the organization will order Inoue to fight, does that makes sense? correct me if I'm wrong.
WBO ordered Casimero to fight another boxer so technically, they have the rules fo follow and that’s what happen here, I can’t see any connection with Inoue though since this is not the first time WBO did this. Though if Casimero win on this match, there’s a high possibility that Inoue will fight him.
This is just a speculation without any basis, and WBO has the authority to do this.
Actually even before this ordered Inoue and Casimero was already in talk regarding their matches, we’re almost there but news suddenly appear and the talk didn’t push through. Let’s wait for the result of this match first, Inoue and Casimero will happen in time.
No need to wait for the result of this fight as it will not happen, Casimero won't be fighting Butler anymore and he got stripped of his belt because he was not able to show up due to Viral Gastritis. What I'm saying is if Casimero will fight as a challenger and WBA ordered Inoue to fight him, then there's no excuse for Inoue not to fight him, unless like Casimero he wants his belt to get stripped of.

3258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 10, 2021, 05:05:36 PM
I really don't think this fight is going to happen.  Logan isn't acting like a guy who is about to get in the ring with Mike Tyson.  He's been partying like crazy and you can tell just from watching his podcast that his body is not being kept in fighting shape.  He looks like he's already lost 20lbs of muscle and I think he's been drunk since the Mayweather fight.  If he doesn't get himself into training camp soon or cancel this fight he's going to get murdered in the ring by Tyson.

I think it's all up to Logan Paul if he would going to push through his exhibition bout with Mike Tyson knowing that he knows that his recent activities will give a bad effect on his body. Even let's say that this is just an exhibition bout, a fighter need to prepare his body, strength and weight for the upcoming fight but if this is what have been he's doing I think his team will know what to do also.
They wouldnt really be putting themselves into a fight without having preparations even though this is an exhibition fight but doesnt mean that you wont really be prepared for it and you would really be just looking like a clown even giving a good punch wasnt really that good.lol

Paul brothers do know on whats their current interest now which is on doing exhibition fight and having some training is really just
part of the normal routine.

They need to do that training even they are just making good money, preparing their stamina and their body is highly needed.

Those opponents that they'll going to face are real fighters who know how to deal with this sport.

Not because Tyson is not above 60 years old means that he's not fit to knock Paul down. He is very capable, worse,

He can send Paul to the hospital if a solid combo hit the man up! Tongue

When was the last time Tyson knockout a fighter?

I think we are just exaggerating things, I mean we based his performance in his fights when he was still young, but now that he has retired and getting old, I don't think he still has that power to send someone to the hospital, and this fight is just an exhibition fight, so I would not set my expectation too high.

^^ Yep it was a monster game by Gobert with that huge rebounds.

No doubt that the Jazz is on the groove right now, maybe they are the next West team who will have a at least 9 game winning streak.

Also good with by San Antonio I did watch the game because I have a live betting on San Antonio before the start of the 4th -8.5. And I thought they wouldn't cover the spread because the Nuggets keeps fighting back, but Derrick White and Murray took over the game for the Spurs.

He really defended Embiid very well as Embiid finished only with 19 points, that's below his average and he wasn't as dominant as he was compared to his past game. Good job for the Jazz, they are on a roll again, hope they'll continue that win streak.

Another loss for SMB.

Not a good start for this heavyweight team in the PBA, they are now 0-2 officially and Alaska are looking good with an undefeated record. Looks like the decision of the management to trade the veterans was a bad move. what do you think?
