3241  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: February 11, 2017, 05:33:28 PM
Depend on what bank do you save. If the bank still unknown and brand new, then you shouldn't save there since they may bankrupt ( as my experienced said that even long life bank still can bankrupt )

I don't think bank will close your account without reason, for example in my country, you have to have a minimum balance in your bank account. If your balance are below the min requirement for 3 month, ....

So what do you mean without a reason ?

Bank shut down your account because " you have to have a minimum balance in your bank account. If your balance are below the min requirement for 3 month, " as you mentioned

I think banks had gone beyond the minimum account balance, we have zero account without being close but for the period of inactive account it is need with a longer period( possibly 1 year), for cases of death of the account owners. However, If bitcoin remain unacceptable by the government, with fewer store accepting bitcoin, fiat will be a legal tendency in most of our transaction and to avoid money laundering, bank will still remain the solution
3242  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchangers to avoid? on: February 11, 2017, 11:47:52 AM
Nova exchange, cryptopia and ccex arent trustworthy?
I need to ask why you mentioned cryptopia on the list. Any bad track record you can refer to or caution? The only thing I noticed is a higher transaction fee but has lot of coin for exchange. I just got on the exchange because of some new coin that I like to trade and invest in.
3243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: February 11, 2017, 10:46:41 AM
You don't need to make the government accept bitcoin in any way. Because once government sees that bitcoin is making people of their country rich, they will start taking interest on it and that won't be good for the general bitcoin users of that country. Remember, bitcoin is not controlled by any central authority which makes it questionable in nature in the eyes of government.

So it is always better, that the government of your country don't bother bitcoin users soon. Bitcoin will survive as an international currency if they keep low profile. Shout about bitcoin will make things worse for all.
I dont know why people want government to come into bitcoin, Those corrupt governments. Bitcoin became this famous to fight the government when government restricted the use of fiat. It was used as a medium of exchange to expose the government misdemeanor. Now we are requesting again for government supreme power. The power china has because of the decentralization, we all see how they are using. Most concern is the readily use in your country, however, It is been used. Bitcoin is for the people not any Government.

The Aim of Elysium is to be a currency which is used by countries to buy international commodities such as oil which is pegged against Dollar . The aim of Elysium is to be a currency which is used by governments while facilitating financial transactions .

The objective of Elysium project is to be a currency which takes over Dollar to be a medium of exchange in International Market .

To Remove the Hegemony and bring Equality

A. How many government had proposed to adopted the coin as exchange?
B. What is the advantage of the coin to dollar exchange?
C. Why do you think the Government will adopt it?
D. Have you prepared enough to compete with dollar in such a big market like oil trade?
I like to believe in the project if it is convincing, am afraid most investment might be short term

Right now, the market is accumulating for quick profits only. I think most of the coins mined are in the sell side. Only experienced traders can guess, how the market is really going. And it is too early to discuss about markets, since issues like 3.6 Million premine makes concern.
Experience traders know better, Beside you did not answer any of my questions.  If they dont think of long term importance and how to convince people on how it will thrive in the market, it will just join more than the 600 coin making the market that cant stay on coinmarketcap. It is not about the volume again and in this dispensation of crypto time will dump the bad ones

Why people really hoping it will raise one day? Incent is for nothing dudes, think about it. You see no one wanted it. For sure the big liquidity is on the big exchanges but not one big player is investing now.
The volume for sell scare me off the buy at crypto lately, now the price is droping after a pump 2 days back. Any reason for the loss of interest?
3246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Undervalued Cryptocurrencies of 2017 on: February 10, 2017, 02:00:00 PM
The list was not supported by any notion of the crypto owners. This implies that some of the choices may be subjected to emotion. I expect a comparison with the ICO price and how much is needed for the project. Most of project request for a ridiculous higher price compare with what it is at stake. Thats y am watching closely Qtum and some new project on how they are doing the campaign, and planning for the ICO while avoiding dump and getting funded
3247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preev BTC to Other Currency on: February 10, 2017, 01:41:56 PM
It is not a recent development, more than 4 months now, and I think the problem has just been neglected because people have alternatives or they are used to the USD conversion. If it can be corrected, It will have more people visiting the page

Is anyone having issue with the NXT online wallet in loading the Janus account balance? It seems not to be responding here, Hope is not personal
3249  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the usual PBOC bullshit routine. Uptrend continues. on: February 09, 2017, 03:47:47 PM
PBOC seems to be bothered when ever the price starts to go up as it trying to avoid been put under the knife from the international community for not regulating btc  that's why it needs exchangers to be  in check with the currency.
I believe with all this publicity bitcoin is getting a platform to grow MORE!!
This is why I hate decentralization, this is not yuan that can be devalued any time to suit their market exchange. My concern is that this market manipulation will continue as long as china holds the large share of the currency.
3250  Economy / Speculation / Re: And yet another crash, lets get the wallet out, time to stock up :) on: February 09, 2017, 03:31:05 PM
Just too soon after a fair spike but dont know if it will last for long before it correct itself. The exchanges involve need to appease the govt to satisfy the request. The news of the account freeze is the top of my concern for the exchange. Old traders know how to handle bitcoin at such times that slide in price is foreseeable.
3251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: February 09, 2017, 03:17:05 PM
Thre are plenty of resources available on the internet to learn about trading, however, I deeply believe in gaining experience from actual trading because practical experience makes it more memorable to avoid mistakes in the future. I would suggest you to start studying price movements on the chart, don't be greedy to invest without understanding the movements. It's a trading and risk is associated with it so don't worry if you suffer loss (almost everyone suffered it in their initial phase). Do your own research BEFORE INVESTING. You will get good experience over the time.
Not everyone can see what you see on those charts. It will require another education to read the price of cryptocurrency on charts, except you have a prior knowledge in a relevant field.
3252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: February 09, 2017, 06:17:28 AM
If you want to start trading only with bitcoin and fiat then it will not be constant all the time as sometimes the price come to stability and sometimes a drop down occurs in the price so you have to trade with a number of coins and it is seen normally when one coin start to decrease then any other at that time increase in price so as a trader you will start getting profit from that second coin and with that your profit will be fixed for you.
Sure, profits in trading cant be constant because of the coin's volatility. Just like every other trade, fixing the income will help business to avoid extravagance and excesses can be conserved or reinvest.
3253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com seriously needs to delist YOBIT on: February 09, 2017, 06:07:14 AM
I don't know why some people crusify Yobit for pump and dump, this occur on Poloniex too and most of the exchanges are guilty of these, when Pascalcoin went on Poloniex the price jack up and people were happy to make money but when it comes to Yobit people will keep crusifing them
yobit has this peculiarity and some irrelevant coin which should be delisted. In this growing numbers of exchanges, if yobit continues to encourage that ridiculous pump it will reduce the trust of subscribers. Poloniex thread is softer than yobit
3254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to analyze an ICO project going to be scam or not? on: February 08, 2017, 07:04:58 PM
Well, unique logo, design and etc means something good but if we look, nowdays many hypes are doing this to blind people. To my mind it's better to check who are behind the project, how was their past and how seriously are they working on their project because there is less risk if group of developers are experienced people, also active staff is very good. You can't 100% analyze if ICO project is going to scam but these will help you.

well it should be checked before placing any investment, as we knew its always hard to say whether project will be a good one or will turned into scam, and that's the advantage of this forum you will be able to justify alts with the opinion of more experienced members and as time goes a long its always the developers reputations will take place if he is for real or he just wanted to collect funds and skip away.
I found this to be the most reliable information to avoid scam, most of the suggestion are what is well understood by scammers that they can go about it and still scam. Track record of some reliable project managers can keep one at rest. A lot of them had left traces everywhere that make it hard for them to run.

Chinese exchanges still have the biggest volumes, China is still the biggest BTC market

Thats the latest extrapolation after PBoC forced chinese exchanges to drop their pants down.

Come on - this chart lumps all USD exchanges together. Today OKCoin has had so far 20K volume - which exchange had more? Maybe the Japanese ones - but those are again zero-fees unreliable data. The same thing with the market share - CNY is pretty much only used in China - USD is used in all national markets.
The info almost got me confused until u referred to the exchange unit not the exchange site. I have always seen the large amount accrued by the chinese in volumes and analysis. so surprised US had not done that much. This large volume has always been the bone of contention on decentralization, which if it continue this way it will still stand
3256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin - Reducing Risk on: February 08, 2017, 06:13:37 PM
Hello Everybody !

I am a French Student in a Business School, and  currently working on BitCoin

On a last topic, I asked if it is possible to monitor or at least reduce the price volatility of BTC, but it seems not to be  the case (or in a very hard way so)

Now I have another question: are there ways to reduce / or at least to limit the risks for a company when a sudden fall in price happens ?
Like a financial package, or baskets of stocks ...

Thanks for your answer !

Quentin
his question does not relates to bitcoin he just introduced himself with antecedent of a question on this forum on bitcoin.
3257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero under scrutiny of the FBI on: February 08, 2017, 05:22:57 PM
Not surprising at all, but what does their scrutiny mean anyway?  There are hundreds of other coins on the market,  too, and it's not like the FBI can shut any of them down.

i think this is all part of the FBI's ongoing battle against darknet markets and since Monero has such direct links to it,
it has become a target now.

It could also be an indication on how the FBI can adapt their strategy with regards to cryptocurrencies when needed.
The news on the severity of the anonymity will send messages to criminal who had not heard it,on how useful it can be to them, to criminals familiar with it, to be careful of using it. The biggest problem any cryptocurrency can have, is be fought by US govt. If it goes beyond this and they find it hard to break the anonymity, there will be problem, but if they can trace it they will trace transaction quietly
