From about 50 second it kicks the ass ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Nice Job ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Thanks Bud It would be nice if we could reach 200 as the new floor. Today`s announcment is big breakthrough and will help more people to understand what XC is and where it is heading. I am still treating it now as it was BTC when it was couple of dollars. And new undisclosed future already ahead before REV 2.5 so yes exciting times are coming for crypto world !!!

Is the feature announced today in the XC daily update the undisclosed REV2 privacy feature? Or are we still waiting on that?
Yup :-) (Not that there won't be more privacy features to come...) Finally!!! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) You can expect the OP to be updated soon to reflect this. Hint: it was updated earlier today... check out the new items. ;-) New timeline makes me want to take out a loan to buy more XC!!! Heh. I got some credit cards and sent the credit straight to an exchange. Easiest free money ever. With what service can i do that ? i was looking for it Just a regular ol' transfer to bank account, then wire to exchange. The cheapest credit doesn't generally come with crypto-friendly features :-) I meant service for quick buy of btc through credit card

***The XC Daily Update***
Soon XC will add a new layer of privacy based on your XChat address.
XChat addresses are soon to be implemented as "stealth addresses" to which people can send payments.
This means that you'll receive payment on a different address that not even the sender knows.
As such, you can publicly display your XChat address as a kind of cryptographic "business card" for both payments and messages, without anything being linked to it on the blockchain!
Finally, combining this with Privacy Mode will conceal the amounts sent to this address.
Here's to the future!
I wonder if people know the significance of this in combination with the layered privacy that XC already has implemented? This is huge. Yes XC will make a huge breakthrough in altcoin world !!! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Is there any documentation avail yet on how to use the XChat feature? Sorry if already asked, I could not find.
1. On the "Receive Coins" tab, create a new address and label it "Chat" or something. 2. Copy your address and paste it into the "from" field on the "Messages" tab (use the "paste" icon to the right of the field). 3. Copy someone's address and paste it into the "to" field (use the icon again). 4. Copy someone's public key and paste it into the "key" field. 5. Write a message. P.S. Fully unlock your app before doing all this. ok, i've totally been resisting technology for MANY moons but with the hope of a TOR stick signed by Dan i find myself up for the headache ...i did #1, don't see a messages tab, under "receive coins" i hit "sign message" tab but don't see "from", "to", and "key" fields ...sorry, plz advise. You need to be on the latest test wallet that actually has a messages tab at the top. thought i did, downloaded from arlyns "download xchat" link this morning. under programs it looks like i have version 2.47d ...downloads on xc website are not self explanatory considering my technological ineptitude. I just downloaded the setup.exe which has chat included in it, if thats any help. so website, downloads, and the just download setup.exe teehee, getting closer! thanks, you guys. if you wanna test the chat, send me a message on the address I posted a few posts ago ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) You should also put it in your sig too. Help spread the words! and... it's needed to have a chance to win the Tor stick. Will do. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Did you get my reply? Yup, can't wait for the notifications to be added in. Then the chatting will just be like Skype, but private. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) stuck again, how do i get a public key? Right click on your chat address and click "copy public key" then past it wherever )in your sig along with your chat address. make sure your chat address isn't the one with coins in it. i just tried sending msgs to arlyn and g-bert ...did either receive? Send me one please ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

And in addition:
- When XC's Bitcointalk thread reaches 1000 pages, one fortunate community member will win a TOR Stick signed by Dan!
- Suggestions as to how to pick the winner are welcome.
Or we could use XChat to enter by sending some sort of judge a message... I think you've got it. On page 1000, an XChat address and pubkey will be posted. Whoever I receive a message from first wins the TOR Stick! I was thinking more along the lines of enter with XChat, then randomly chosen from the pool. It's probably going to be like 3 in the morning around here when the thread hit 1000 pages... It would be fair if with the posting of the XChat address a 24h period starts within everyone has the chance to partake by sending his forum name to that address. And at the end a random community member is chosen. Ok here's a suggestion: - On page 1000 an address and public key will be posted. - Everyone gets 24 hours to post to it. - For Mac and Linux users, instead of sending a message they can send a micropayment to the address. - After 24 hours I'll select one of the addresses, post it here, and the winner can claim ownership of it by sending another message with his/her username on it (or by sending a highly specific micropayment and then posting the amount on Bitcointalk). How does that sound? But how can you avoid one person to attend multiple times with a micropayment to increase his chances? edit: if one posts his sending address here on the forum it would work +1

I think the free stic should go to mr.random for donating what he did for the PR and such...
Lovely suggestion. I'd say that if the community votes for this then we'd do it. Or potentially just give him one in addition. ;-) Yes he should get one in addition ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
