3261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY credits in the next months? on: May 20, 2017, 05:35:30 PM
What's your forecast about LBRY in the next months? It's still undervalued? Do you think it can surpass SingularDTV?

i think it's undervalued when you compare it to the first price, the peak i mena which was almost 200k satoshi, but the emission rate was very low back then now it's too damn high, it can't go higher so easily, maybe when the emission rate for the miners will be lower the coin will be pumped easily, LBRY is suited for a long term investment not short term, if you want to invest, buy and hold for the next year
3262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the near future,... on: May 20, 2017, 05:32:49 PM
there are already people who have them. they forgot about that address reuse thing. that wasn't too clever.

and why would anyone choose to display a publicly accessible bank balance?

it's the same like they do with their address on facebook, at first no one could think that everyone was ok with showing his/her info to the internet, but it happened, as long as they don't show their private key they are safe, i can't see anything wrong about showing your address to receive payment, you can still have other hidden address with bigger amount
3263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 5 Second, Think a coin that will be x10 within 30 days on: May 20, 2017, 05:29:34 PM
mmh really, hard but netko is my choice, i think it's really undervalued with only 3k satoshi, the project is not bad and there are a strong buyers support now, i'm mining quite a bit and stack them and wait for the pump, i can't see anything else going 10x now
I agree with you. The market value of netko is very small at present. I think X100 is very possible.

maybe not 100x, i think that is too much in one sit for any coin, to ahcieve, but 10x initially and after that another increase is possible

You have only 5 second
To
Name a coin

Note : Only a Coin

Lets SEE!

I think it will be XRP. Currently XRP is only worth like 34ish cents. If BTC and ETH keep going up that will leave room for XRP to go up. THink about it. ETH was 60 cents for the longest time now it is 128 dollars USD!!!! XRP is next imo.

xrp is issued by a centralized entity they can pump it like they want, and would be only a rigged market, ripple and ETH have nothing to do with each other, bad example there bro
3264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google participating in ethereum ICOs ? on: May 20, 2017, 05:27:30 PM
no wonder ETH has this big marketcap, microsoft and google are behind this giant, and they are investing secretely in some other altcoin, this last boom could be because of their investement, at least this make sense to me, but yes golem doesn't make sense, there are better token out there that work with ETH contracts
3265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Half a Year after SegWit started Signalling on: May 20, 2017, 05:25:24 PM
Core dev can activate UASF anytime or BU will do hardfork and make block/network split if they're desperate or inpatient which is slightly better than do nothing and watching bitcoin condition become worse over time.

core dev have nothing to do with UASF as far as i know, but i could be wrong, and greg is against it so i think i'm not that wrong on this one, the activation also seems based on time and not on something else is that right?
3266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcore - BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - CORE 0.14 - 5330+ BTX Claimed on: May 20, 2017, 10:40:23 AM
BitCore neonpool - http://neonpool.sytes.net
Minimum auto payout: 0.1 BTX (No tx fee, payouts every 1 hour)
Pool fee: 1%

Bitcore NeonPool need more hashing power to maintain a stable block generation rate. Miners kindly join and help spread out the hashing power of Bitcore to stabilize the network.

How to start mining:
AMD: sgminer --kernel timetravel10 -o stratum+tcp://neonpool.sytes.net:4008 -u <your-wallet-address> -p x
NVIDIA: ccminer -a timetravel10 -o stratum+tcp://neonpool.sytes.net:4008 -u <your-wallet-address> -p x
CPU: cpuminer -a bitcore -o stratum+tcp://neonpool.sytes.net:4008 -u <your-wallet-address> -p x

I was giving your pool a try and my shares disappeared, I am still mining but it is showing no balance and nothing sent to my wallet???
Miner shares are calculated for each block and would reset to 0 when a block is found (which happened last night). As soon as the block reaches 101 confirmations, you will see your account balance getting updated with the amount proportionate to the no of shares that you had submitted for that block.
I solo mined for more than 50% of the time during the last four days and now got 5.12 BTX for my efforts. Nice. Also feels good to support a very new coin with some hashing power.

Btw, I'd like to see "% of total shares" next to the "shares" stat for an address, just to get an idea what income to expect when a new block is found.
Will rest my pc for now and probably mine tomorrow again.

how can you solo mine with this? i thought it was not possible because ccminer is missing the option, can you tell me the secret to mine this in solo please? i feel like i'm wasting some coins when mining in pool, because with my math i should get more, but no matter what pool i try every one of them pay less than excepted
3267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Steem actually profitable? on: May 20, 2017, 10:37:28 AM
I'd like to know if you can make money coming from views of your articles and what kind of views are they.is it coming from unique ip's only and is their a limit of views of the articles,it will be unfair if you only need votes coming from whales only.

not much anymore in the early day of this coin there was an huge fest to post crapa nd get payd lol not so different than signature, but after the hacking all the blogs thing on steem when down and there was not the same profit to do, it's better to join a signature if you want to get payd while posting, it's more easy

3269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So I look for interesting alt coins to invest and I find Sexcoin (?) on: May 20, 2017, 10:32:37 AM
I thought Sexcoin was dead since some good time ago.
I don't see any potential because there is no new features, and I don't know if the develop team still is around

yeah it's an old coin, tittycoin was a more recent one, but sitll they are more of the same, i would avoid watsing my time and money in this project, the dev is MIA and the coin is nearly dead

I'm currently invested in BTC and other large cap coins. But I am seriously looking to invest (nothing big) on al alt coin with potential. Just a scan over coin mark cap website and well there's a lot of coins but one jumps out both on name, supply, and "history".

Sexcoin apparently has been around for a while. But it has not accomplished much apparently. I read through most of there main blog here in the forum and I see potential.

Any thoughts from anyone on the team or users?

invest in other coin, like DGB, sia, they are all pumped like now, should be a good option for quick cash
3270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: poloniex.com are scamming and stealing coins! Beware! on: May 20, 2017, 10:31:46 AM
i think you are too paranoid, they don't steal coins from you when they make millions in trading fee alone, would be very stupid for them to scam when they are running a big business like that, they have the biggest volume among all the exchange, i think you just did something wrong, just ask the support to solve your issue
3271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of these coins on: May 19, 2017, 04:43:59 PM
the only good one in thta list are ETH, siacoin, NEM, litecoin, LBRY, steem and maybe ark and maidsafe, the other i would avoid, especially ripple, it's the worse among them and it's not a real currency just a iou, the one instead that i like the most from your list are the pow one like LBRy and siacoin and of course ETH
3272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you guys think about Casino and dice games? on: May 19, 2017, 04:35:06 PM
Hey.
I was just wondering to myself, do you guys believe that online casinos are totally legit, or do you also believe that some of them are rigging outcomes.
One of the reason I prefer to bet on sports and not on dice games or at online casinos is that I can't actually know if the casino is paying me as they should, or they tell me that I lost while I was supposed to be a winner.

Does the small house edge(compared to sports betting) worth the chance of the casino rigging the outcomes, making you lose sometimes while you were supposed to be the winner?

casino are more prone to be rigged imho, instead dice game are in bitcoin from a longer time and are more legit, also we have very notorious people behind dice game like stunna, which is trusted, behidn casino site we have not super trusted member, but casino have on their side more fun, i like them more you have more choice
3273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Doom Scenario on: May 19, 2017, 04:33:17 PM
Well I'm not thinking about natural disasters here, I'm talking about..what if one day a glitch is found and BTC will value zero? Is technical possible? I'd say nothing is impossible even if it may seem so right now.

And regarding the private keys, they are impossible to break, but do you think they will still be impossible in 50-100 years? I have my doubts; but of course it's not something we should worry about in our lifetime

i don't think it's possible for the value to suddenly go to zero, just because they found a glitch or exploit or anything, someone will always buy cheap bitcoin, i know i would do it lol, i remember there was a bug in the past for bitcoin, but they fixed it without effect on the value, so you see we have already an example what would happen in your scenario
3274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best place to trade alts for BTC no verification required on: May 19, 2017, 10:53:14 AM
Looking for a suggestion on the best exchange where I can load some BTC and trade it for some alts, particularly litecoin. I'm looking for one that I can just sign up, send BTC trade and withdraw all with out verification.  Thanks

it's very easy to find such exchange, bittrex c-cex coinexchange cryptopia and novaexchange are all exchange that do not require you to send any id verification, but they have the possibility to upgrade your account to move more money and this require id verification, but if you mean you don't want use your email then i don't know there are no exchange that you simply send bitcoin like for a dice site, if that what you mean, still you can fake your email with any exchange that requirw an email verification
3275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which of these hashing Algorithm is the best on: May 19, 2017, 10:51:15 AM
Hello,
Among SH256,SHA3 and Keccak25 which one is the best hashing Algorithm ? Support your answer with reasons.

sha256 is better to leave it to bitcoin i think, sha3 is nexus using this algo? or a variant i don't remember and keccak25 is an old algo, you should focus on new algo, like timetravel10, blake2s the one from HODL i forgot the name, but for me the best oen is alwys the oen that make asic hard to make for it, any hard memory algo is good for this
3276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many cryptocurrencies are there and what are they called? on: May 19, 2017, 10:49:35 AM
I'd say that there are around 1k alt-coins that are actually worth something, I'm not counting the dead ones or the coins that are made to last one day in order for creator to get some money out of it.

Tho there are a lot more and I've seen in service section people offering to make alt-coin for some reasonable price, so basically everyone can have their own alt-coin.

1k? lol not even 100 are worth something, you are overstimating this market, which is full of garbage scam coin, i can only take serious top 10 and a bunch of other altcoin in the top 100, but not all the top 100, every other alt which is announced now it's a copy paste of the good one, i don't even bother anymore
3277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any future for Dogecoin? on: May 19, 2017, 10:48:01 AM
if for any future you mean huge price pump, it can't happen because the supply of doge is infinite, it's very hard for investors to pump this beyond 100 satoshi, but doge is a good call for a pump and dump, just buy cheap and sell high, within the range 20 satoshi 100 satoshi, you can get good profit doing this
3278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I "Do my own research" on: May 19, 2017, 10:46:37 AM
toio much things to look at from your list, i only look at the possibility to have a great dev or a faggot behind the coin development process, also i'm looking if the ico coin is gaining traction while the time pass gradually, the numbers of pages of the ANN is a good indicators if the coins will succeed or not, at leats i find it so, also another mandatory thign to check is escrow, without that i'm not considering any ico no matter the features presented
3279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you positive or negativeO? on: May 18, 2017, 03:32:43 PM
Im 2.6K USD positive overall gambling online... How much have you won or lost?

amazing profit 2.6k dollar from gambling
what you play, how much capital money ?, and how long you can get profit 2.6k dollar

it's all about luck you don't need big capital, if you bet with a low amount but your odds are against you by a big % you can win big by investing small and i bet if he continue to play he will eventually lose everything, better to get out when you have something in gambling and never return again, i did the same with my last winning, of 0.2 btc i run away quickly and invest in something else less risk, like some altcoin with strong potential
3280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Altcoins are investors buying and hodling? on: May 18, 2017, 03:30:34 PM
I'm curious, I know there are a lot of traders on this forum.

But

1. How many of you folks are investing in and holding altcoins?

and

2. Which ones are they?

i'm holding netko, rain, spreadcoin, nexus and sweepstakecoin, i like to hold new coin, they are very good for pump and dump, but i did not invest in these coins, i mined them and i'm waiting for the pump, best strategy for me and always work good
