3261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu's future on: July 21, 2022, 04:01:39 PM
Consider altcoins as gambling, invest the amount you can afford to lose. If there will be price drop, it will be most significant on altcoins, but the bull time will be massive for some altcoins and probably Shiba Inu would be among the altcoins that will have price increase during the next bull run.

But for investment advice, I will advice you to invest in bitcoin.
3262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back above realized price on: July 21, 2022, 01:59:14 PM
Experienced traders know how they can trade in a way both sideways will favour them.

Holders believe in buying and holding for long and they will make profit if they invest after massive bear market.

Because of that, i prefer to just hold, but not all, as the price continue to decrease, the more I will buy and invest. I think the price of bitcoin is still going down below $20000 again and I think this year will not favour bitcoin price.
3263  Economy / Speculation / Effect of Tesla bitcoin sale not significant on: July 21, 2022, 01:25:06 PM
BTC price battles 200-week moving average after $930M Tesla Bitcoin sale

The market has been on the rise since sone days ago, now on the news that Tesla bitcoin sale is affecting bitcoin market price to be decreasing. I remember the time when the market was very buslish and any whales that buy bitcoin resulted to a great price rise. Also a time of the Chinese crypto crack down FUD and when Elon Musk announcement of Tesla not accepting bitcoin payment anymore, the price downturn was greate. I do not know why this time should be linked to Tesla that sold 75% of their bitcoin holding. The amount sold is large but no significant effect.

Elon Musk is anti bitcoiner and supporting just doge coin, people were thinking that this will happen, that Tesla will sell their bitcoin holding, it could be because of business reasons or a way to manipulate the market in the future, but it was good that Elon Musk sold this coin and not having significant effect on the market.

I do not know why the news are bringing this up, no significant effect at all.
3264  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase One - Zero trade fees? on: July 21, 2022, 08:10:39 AM
Binance has now some 0 fees with no monthly fee either (for their 5 years anniversary), but I don't know how long will it last.
I don't like it exactly for the opportunities this gives to those who want to manipulate the market (wash trading, fake volumes, you know the drill).
This is only for BTC/USD trading pairs as far as I know, so you're still going to be paying for fees if you're trading other pairs.
Also for BUSD market makers.

For trading pairs, just for spot trading pairs, future and option trading pairs are not included.
3265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to make new all-time-highs within 24 months: Coinshares CSO on: July 21, 2022, 07:53:17 AM
No, it absolutely is not possible. Bitcoin won't be able to stay about $20k for more than 30 days before July 2024, and probably ever again. So no, it's not going to an ATH by then. You can take that all the way to the bank.
Some people will miss the next bull run, i hope it will not be too late before you will realize that. Bitcoin at $20000 or below by July 2024? All I can say is that it is wrong to make such prediction. Though no one is correct when it comes to bitcoin price prediction but there are some analyses and speculations that can be very misleading. Long term speculation about bitcoin is always accurate and yours is very different from the long term accurate speculation of all-time-high after long period of time.
3266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 21, 2022, 06:18:57 AM
the people you mean are people who have made a lot of profit when they are not working, money is still coming to them, while most people with low salaries are still trying their luck at gambling places
It has been noticed that the average category of people that have money to gamble are gambling than the rich people. That is the fact, but there are many average people too that do not gamble, some are gambling but not gambling for much profit, the little they earn they are okay with it and if they do not make profit, they do not still go beyond their weekly gambling budget.

while we all know that gambling places are not fully profitable, sometimes they can get a loss.
Loss is inevitable in gambling, the reason we should reduce the frequency of gambling and to reduce to money we are gambling with. If a gambler is not addicted, patient and gamble for fun, he will make profit than lose, but gambling should not even be about that, it should be about losing and not thinking or feel depressed about the lost money because the punter should be able to afford to lose the money used to gamble.

and of course everything must be done patiently and without any panic or pressure because it can disturb the gambler's psychology.
That is true, patience is very important in gambling, without patience, there will be more money loss.
3267  Economy / Economics / Re: Surprisingly, Elon's Tesla is not so keen on hodling BTC anymore on: July 20, 2022, 11:09:53 PM
Haven't you be expecting this for long? Though it was longer than I was expecting.

Elon Musk only has ambition to support doge. He bought bitcoin, he let Tesla to accept bitcoin. People were thinking he is bitcoin enthusiast but not. He later let Tesla not to accept bitcoin, all his plans from the beginning before Tesla was even accepting bitcoin, he just want people to know more about doge.

Musk later let Tesla accept doge, not only the coin using less power for miner, but just his favourite and manipulation. We all know that Elon Musk is not after another thing than doge.

Instead to hold bitcoin for long, he sold now. But I know he will be planing to manipulate the market again in another massive bull market.

I was expecting this, not a surprise for me.
3268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst Names "Starting Point" for Next Bitcoin Bull Run !!! on: July 20, 2022, 09:14:02 AM
All I can say is that you should be your own analyst. If the price of bitcoin has fallen significantly, then buy and hold. If the price of bitcoin has increased so significantly, then sell and wait until its price decrease very well and you can buy.

At $30000? The bull run will begin? Why not just hold and see if it will be true or not. I do not believe in analysts though, I prefer to hold after massive bear market which had occured already.
3269  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase One - Zero trade fees? on: July 20, 2022, 01:37:13 AM
Binance has now some 0 fees with no monthly fee either (for their 5 years anniversary), but I don't know how long will it last.
I have just found out about this on my Binance account.

Selected BTC Pairs: 0% Fee
BUSD Maker: 0% Fee

Other Pairs
Maker: 0.07500%
Taker: 0.07500%

Future trading pairs are still as usual, fee are still charged in percentage for all pairs.

Never heard that they are going to merge I have the Coinbase app but currently, it's not yet pro. If you search a bit on Google the result only leads you to a guide on how to transfer funds from Coinbase to pro and nothing else. So merging between that two is fake news.
Probably they are not yet merged, but not a fake new.

https://blog.coinbase.com/hello-advanced-trade-goodbye-coinbase-pro-5b0715b03ef0

It was Coinbase Pro on Coinmarketcap before, now Coinbase exchange. I am not a Coinbase user, so I do not know if they are merged yet, but as Coinmarketcap changed the name, that got me thinking they are now merged, but I may be wrong.
3270  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase One - Zero trade fees? on: July 19, 2022, 09:04:33 PM
It seems to be for the regular Coinbase account (not pro), and gives you zero fees for $30 a month..
I am not a Coinbase user, but I thought Coinbase Pro and Coinbase.com has been merged. I checked Coinbase pro on Coinmarketcap and it is now named Coinbase exchange.

HUOBI with small margin both ways and zero trade fees was like exchange paradise..
Are you sure there is zero trading fee on Huobi? It was not so the last time I checked. Only the exchange I know that have zero trading fee is Binance.US, but maybe some other exchanges have it too.

Binance has now some 0 fees with no monthly fee either (for their 5 years anniversary), but I don't know how long will it last.
I don't like it exactly for the opportunities this gives to those who want to manipulate the market (wash trading, fake volumes, you know the drill).
I saw when CZ proposed zero trading fee on Twitter, which means it was supported by the community, yet wash trading or something like that was talked about which some traders can use to manipulate the market.
3271  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betfury not pay 2.7k$ on: July 19, 2022, 12:46:18 PM
<snip>
When you keep winning then it's a red alert for casino. Casinos are not charity but business. Strategically winning every bet for long streak is not possible too. It's not the AML and KYC only, they will check your betting behaviors, the market your placed bets, time of placing bets and many more factors before giving you a final decision.

Give them their time.

Why checking betting behavior? I do not think that will be the reason. Just that betting sites do more check about the deposit after the depositor win and want to withdraw.

I will advice EthDoo to wait for the days they said and keep this thread active about it.
3272  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Online Casino Directory: newcasinos.io on: July 19, 2022, 12:25:45 PM
From my end the site directly opened in my Safari browser, no issues with the SSL certificate I guess.
The site is not a casino site, I am wondering how some IP and VPN can not access it, I had to disconnect my VPN before I was able to access the site, it is not about SSL or TCL certificate, just that some IP addresses and VPN set to particular countries can not access the site.

Please, are the casinos you are listing new? Or you are listing just trustworthy casinos?

There are reputed casinos on this forum, none was listed there.

Edit: I went through the site and saw that you are listing new casinos, but we have some new casinos also on this forum that are proving to be trustworthy but none is listednon your site.
3273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone using Gate here ? on: July 19, 2022, 09:19:22 AM
What token do you want to buy? It can be a shit token. Which means the token may not have a good limit order price and if you use the market order, it can be a loss if you buy it as people are not demanding for the coin and make its market price to be very low than what appears on the market. Be careful when buying shit coins, you can buy at loss.

Or what limit order price did you use. For example, if you want to buy bitcoin and its price is at $22000, a limit order at 19990 will not make the order filled unless bitcoin fall back to or below that price.

I checked Coinmarketcap now, Gate.io 24 hours trading volume is $1,573,557,595.23. You can check that using this link: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/gate-io

The problem is not from Gate.io, there is something you are not getting right.
3274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto reclaim $1 trillion marketcap. A good sign on: July 19, 2022, 07:46:55 AM
Crypto market is highly volatile, because it hits $1 trillion marketcap again does not mean it will not get below that market worth again for now, crypto is not yet matured to the extent that the crypto marketcap will not get below $1 trillion again, maybe it would be mature above that after the next bitcoin halving. We should be mindful not to fall under bull trap this time.
3275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kucoin us customers leverage on: July 19, 2022, 07:17:05 AM
There are some exchanges that do not provide service for US citizens, this is not because of the exchange but because of US government that do not allow that. US have exchanges of their own, I will do not know if Kucoin support US. Even if Kucoin support US and providing services to US citizens that register with them, I am still certain that they will not be able to use Kucoin future trading.

But this is what I saw online:

The United States has strict regulations for cryptocurrency exchanges, and KuCoin is not licensed to operate in the states.

KuCoin is not licensed in the United States, but Coinbase is licensed in the U.S.; KuCoin offers 600+ cryptocurrencies.

I will advice you to use the exchanges available in US and know that those exchanges may not support future trading.

I'm afraid your only option is to use a VPN and hope that your account doesn't get locked. (Though I'm not from the US, I've been using KuCoin with a VPN for a while now). Proceed with caution though. Pretty difficult to get access to leverage in the US as far as I know.
I will advice him not to use VPN at all, access those exchanges from US is not legal in US.
3276  Economy / Reputation / Re: Dead member account suddenly active? on: July 18, 2022, 02:28:46 PM
Move this to meta or reputation.

What will likely be the reaction of members of the forum to that?
Definitely not the owner of the account, it has to be given neutral tag that people should be careful with the user. It can be a hacked account.

If it is the family member of the person that is using it to make it active, people should still be very careful with the account.
3277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huobi Global has the lowest fees on: July 18, 2022, 07:32:42 AM
Huobi's category 6 fee rates
Spot - 0.055%(Marker) 0.07%(taker)
Futures - 0.004%(marker) 0.0295%(taker)
After I got verified on Huobi global, I was in level 1, people that can move up to upper level need to have certain amount of money or coins on the exchange but which I do not just have. On Binance and OKX, such level comes with low fee if compared to Huobi global, I wished I continue to use Huobi global, but the high fee let me leave the exchange. It was 0.2% fee for spot trading when I left like two months ago.
3278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1-5 min scalping on binance is it worth it on: July 18, 2022, 07:20:29 AM
Scalping is very profitable, but there is a risk, especially when you are in futures contracts and the use of leverage. Frankly, I did not try scalping in future, but I tried it in spot trading.
Using spot trading for scalping may be very difficult, it means you have to wait until you will only buy, you can not open a short position with spot trading. Future trading makes scalping more better, you will be able to go long and short in a way bitcoin or the coin taken can move in up or down direction and make money if the position taken is favoured, but in spot, you will first have to let the market to fall and you can only buy.

In future trading, it is riskier because people prefer to use leverage, but you can just go 1x which is also not risky like using 2x and above.
3279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 17, 2022, 10:53:37 AM
You can start to bet with as low as $1, if you do that and lose 10 times, but losing 10 times means you are losing $512, that is huge. I will prefer to apply it but my strategy of do not use more than what you can afford to lose to bet is working for me, using another strategy may result to me to use gambling to chase money and I know the result may be bad. But what I am thinking is that this can result to winning opportunity though but I may be wrong and I will not advice anyone to do that. For anyone that try it, anytime the person won should just be enough not to continue to bet but waiting till next time.
3280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 17, 2022, 08:30:20 AM
This happened in the Nigeria Ogun State FA Cup final between Remo Stars and Ijebu United... so you will also know that Nigeria has been seen as the most corrupt country in the world.
This is not only about Nigerian Leagues, it is better to not bet on small leagues, bet on only big leagues because most manipulations are from the small leagues, not only in Nigeria but many other countries.

Only in the lower leagues, that's why most sportsbooks usually set lower limits and offer few markets for less popular leagues.
But I can see hundreds of matches played daily that were included by bookmakers. I do watch some on bet365, with the look of some matches, the field would have indicated that it is a small league match, some will not even have any crowd watching but just the players and the small stadium which is not fascinating at all.
