3261  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism in Africa on: July 28, 2023, 09:09:37 PM
Terrorism in many parts of Africa as it seems has turned into normality as it doesn't bother African leaders simply because they are riding with bullet proof cars and security aids.
Negligence of African leaders in eradicating insecurity simply means that, they are either the sponsors of insecurity or their western pay masters are the sponsors.

Great minds, who do you think is behind the killings in African region?
Should we blame just African leaders or the western block.
Aside from Africa leaders riding bullet proof cars,  most of the politicians are the main sponsors of those terrorism groups and just as you said in the last paragraph,  due to their involvement is the scheme they always look away from the activities of those terrorists gourps and systematically place them in such a way that the National security are weak against the terorists and their can't fight them since the machineries to do so are not given to them.

Africa have become a breesing ground for most terrorist groups and it take a lot of efforts from global terrorist police in collaboration with Afriacns security force to be able to face out this manice that is ravaging our society currently because it is now obvious that our African leaders lack that capacity or will to do the right thing in this regard.
3262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: July 28, 2023, 09:00:06 PM
I personally have never gambled using borrowed money
I had and I was so stupid. I realized after I lost all the money the same day that I borrowed it. Not at once, but as I continued to gamble with it and all got lost to gambling.
Very wird way of gambling,  because when gambling with borrowed money you are already under pressure to payback that loan and that could impact your gambling activity negatively just as you said in your first comment,  taking a loan to gamble is the most stupid thing to do as a gambler because gambling is a high-risk venture and the results are highly unpredictable which is why,  it is better not to gamble to earn money but only gamble with the amount you can afford to lose.

But a loan is not an amount one can afford to lose,  since you will have to pay it back at some point,  so ultimately taking a loan to gamble is not sensible enough.

Ops may not or have just made an assumption on the reason why users seek loans,  as you rightly said,  ops should stop assuming things.
3263  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Buy-Sell BFG on BetFury | 🔥Fury Pharaoh - New In-house Slot on: July 28, 2023, 08:46:45 PM
I just watched a video on Youtube on channels @vgorefs he plays in this casino Betfury  so Betfury started hiring Streamers?
By the way after watching this video I remember that I have an account here but I can't login because I lost 2FA access, I have contacted support CS name @Kristen he has sent me instructions on how to recover it. The problem is I lost my access/phone for over a year and I can't remember in detail some of the questions have any of you experienced it? and how to solve it.  any advice will be appreciated, thanks.
I think streamers are the next stop point for casinos looking for ways to promote their platform and since youtube is a great learning tool for many newbies,  casinos will gladly spend money on hiring youtube streamers to push out the casino.

Betfury has always been deliberate in their promotions and that could be noticed in the way they run their signature campaign here in the forum for sometime before it was put on hold.,  so I am not surprised to see Betfury taking up streamers to help promote their casino mostly now that the industry is now more competitive.
3264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: July 28, 2023, 08:34:45 PM
it could be easier to talk the person over signing with you.

I prefer that casinos can have bonus of access to direct withdrawal, not wager or spin Grin
If casino allows such access to withdraw rewards,  most gamblers who won't wager any longer and will just decide to withdraw their earning directly without playing on the casino since their know the possibility of them losing their funds while trying to meet those wager of spins requirement,  but I don't think there is any restriction on rake back earning because I have a friend who earns and withdrawal all his rakeback rewards at the end of each month.

So it depends on the bonus or rewards that you sign up for, which will determine the level of demand that will be placed on it for the gambler.
3265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Saylor ever sell? on: July 28, 2023, 08:24:53 PM
He is a big bag holder and even though the total asset is not his personal Bitcoin holdings and infact we may not even know the actual number of bitcoin that Saylor have a and how frequent he is with selling his personal Bitcoin holding.

But for the one that the company owns,  no one really know when exactly the company will decide to sell off those Bitcoin since the company did not include their sell position in the information their always put out,  so any attempt to establish a discussion on that could be base a just speculations and nothing more.

And in fact no one really cares any ways whether they decide to sell or hold.
3266  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: July 28, 2023, 07:32:10 PM
It doesn't matter what race, gender, or nationality you have in gambling because it isn't really that necessary. It's not like a sports event wherein a particular gender plays a bias over who's going to win. What people need to take note is that you have to be smart, strategic, and lucky in gambling. Otherwise, you are just wasting money over betting on something that you take a small chance of winning. One must be prepared enough especially if it involves sports betting that needs knowledge and not just pure luck or odds siding on you. There's certainly a probability of losing, but you can lessen the rate if you will be informed enough.
Anyone can play gambling, whether it's a man or a woman. What matters is that they have the money they can afford to lose on gambling and nothing more. They could easily win at gambling, but more people still lose at gambling. But it is not a wasted bet because the people who bet are aware of the risks and only use the money they can afford. And if, in the end, they use or deposit more money because they have experienced loss, that's a different story, and that can happen because they want to recover from their loss. But it will be difficult for them because they have lost before and must be ready for the next one.
Fact is that,  just like I don't consider gender in anything I am doing since both male and female have same capacity to withstand anything and what matters is the individual mindset,  so at that I consider female gamblers same way I regards the male forks and that is something that we have to get used to,  and let us now focus on more interesting discussion as relate to this topic.

Bets have same value and must be regarded as same no matter the team that is playing or how much is at stake,  this is because sometimes the bet that you regarded less becomes your winning bet and this is something that helps a lot of gamblers including myself because sometimes the bet I mistakenly select end up becoming the winning games that change the face of everything.
3267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Bitcoins to never gamble again. Will you take it? on: July 28, 2023, 06:47:21 PM

Similarly, someone who likes to gamble regardless of the fact that they win or lose, wouldn't take the money and will simply say that they can't stop gambling forever, maybe if you give them a period for how many months or days they can't gamble, but they wouldn't accept the offer to leave it forever.
I know for a fact that some big bag gamblers spend such an amount of money in just one night, doing it for fun,  I have read in this forum where a rich kid wasted about 30 million dollars on gambling and alcohol in just one night and that is some that chuck many of us small gamblers,  but then I got to understand that some gamble not just for the money but also for the fun,  and also a means to waste some money by some extravagant spenders.

But if I should align this situation to myself,  I will say that getting a 5 Bitcoin as a result to leave gambling,  I will say it worth the break and I believe most other people here have the same line of thought like mind.
3268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: July 28, 2023, 06:40:57 PM
So there is no need to have such multiple casino accounts, so that brings us to the question of why having multiple VIPs when one is ok to take care of all your gambling needs and whatever benefits in rewards that you expect to get from your activities on the account. ? @@@
The fact is that a single user is playing in various different casinos, I doubt a gambler play in 1 casino only their entire gambling journey.
What is the reason? Obviously it has nothing to do with chasing VIP accounts or to get the VIP benefits in various different casinos.
VIP account is just a side benefit of being active player so do not think that why those who own multiple VIP accounts are merely chasing it, but they are playing normally in every casino and they received the benefits for being active players.
But that's not the case with OP here, he specifically said that he spent enough money on all the platforms so that he can reach VIP levels only to get benefits from them and then use those benefits to win some money and then withdraw it, what I don't understand in all this is that why not spend all that money on a single platform that has the best VIP program so that you can get a higher VIP level and bigger benefits and enjoy them while you can?

I don't really find this being any useful at all, a person who gambles regularly should simply do it on a single platform so that they can get a better rank in there, I mean it is not like you are going to lose in one platform and win at the other, it's all based on your luck and it doesn't change if you change the platform.
I agree with ops statement of spending a lot of money to attain that VIP rank on those casinos,  and this is not a just saying be because building a VIP account comes with a lot of wagering requirements that will subject the ops to amassing and spending a lot of money in the wagering process,  so it not an easy job.,  more also we must acknowledge the fact that ops have put in effort since having and running those 3 accounts means ops must be active on all the 3 accounts.

But then I also think it will become unnecessary at some point if you have those accounts and already making enough income through your activities on them,  but in the op's situation seems to be active on all those accounts at the same time.
3269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 28, 2023, 06:32:14 PM
The thing is not to quit gambling,  most especially if you gambling for entertainment and how to keep yourself enjoying,  I am also against the opinion of taking gambling as a source of income,  but I am also for gambling because I actively gamble from time to time.

So there is a difference between the two,  and that is what ops must take into consideration in this instance and for that ops need to have rethink his decision to quit gambling in its totality.

when a gambler feels that he cannot control his gambling. it was only natural that he quit gambling. because it could be worse for him and also his finances.
I am also a gambler, although I enjoy gambling as a hobby. still sometimes act out of control when I'm too engrossed in playing. enjoying the game too much is a mistake that can make us forget the time and also forget to stop betting.
if the OP really wants to get out of gambling, maybe that's an option. hope he reaches his goal. but it is possible that he is back after some time off and in the future wants to return to playing.
I u understand the fact that sometimes it is better to quite gambling for a while if you feel you are going all in too much and that is what we need to put in place,  and in trying to avoid gambling addiction it is better to have 100% withdrawal from gambling to avoid a slide back into it.

So overtly gambling withdrawal should be done with ultimate concerns but from othe ops explanation, I think he was not a gambling addict but someone who was just looking for means to have a break from gambling.

3271  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Naija board needs more merit source on: July 28, 2023, 02:58:55 PM

So we need more selfless individuals with high luck to also try their luck in the application for merit source,  and we should all show our support to any Nigerian that put forth their foot to apply for source position.
Why are you contradicting yourself?

Just like you showed support with your
I think you are misunderstanding my comments and taking it to be a direct statement targeting an individual,  but if you read my comment without any prejudice you will know that what I am saying is the same in all the comments,  unless you misunderstood me greatly and I won't blame you if you do so since English is not our basic language since English just a borrowed language to us here in Nigeria and we are all still learning the act of mastering the language at the individual level,  so this kind of misunderstanding happens time to time.

So mate don't take my comments and observation personal,  as we all have rights to air our views in whatever discussions that is going on here in the local board and the main board of the forum respectfully without any fear or favour as long as we have our own opinion and suggestions to contribute to the discussion.

On the topic of new merit source for the local board,  I am sure you are aware that you are not the only Nigerian applying for that even though you seems to be the only one who have created a topic for that a long time ago,  and why I mentioned individual luck being a major contributor to being selected is the fact that,  when the first set of merit sources were selected,  the administrator did not request for an application from those that we're selected,  I don't know if they indicates interest to be chosen in the first place and we also know that many of those who have indicated interest since then have not received the attention of the admin in that regards.

Please correct me if I am wrong by the above statement and I will gladly learn from you,  like I said I will support you and any other Nigerian who have,  and will indicate interest in becoming our first local board merit source.
3272  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 28, 2023, 02:42:38 PM
It is easier to setup "fake" businesses and to launder money through the Fiat Banking system.... than doing it through a online Casino, where the risk and security are so much higher.  Tongue

This is very easy to track since fiat transaction on the business is audited. Crypto is the best option to launder imho.

When we involve the fiat banking system, money laundering can be easily tracked, as banks are required to report suspicious transactions on clients' bank accounts to the AMLC (Anti-Money Laundering Council), and they will conduct an investigation on such matters. That's why crypto gambling is very popular, as it allows gambling anonymously. However, the government is aware that this can become a haven for money launderers, so they are ensuring that casinos will be required to have a license before they can start to operate.
The thing is that money launderers already know the risk of using casinos to carry out their money laundering act since they will be subject to x number of wagering as a requirement to prevent that act,  so for that they rather make use of coin mixing service,  that way all that their need is to pay small fees and get the coin mixed up.

So I think the idea to avoid casinos becoming a venture for money laundering is the main reason why there is demand for that x wager and sometime KYC requirements on suspicious accounts.
3273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM or not ? on: July 28, 2023, 12:25:53 AM

Do you think this is a scam or can I pay safely?

Thank you in advance for your help.
A 100 percent scam bud, and it's even a very old strategy, I wonder how this stupid scammer still get hold of you guys, unfortunately, you are asking this question very late, as I believe you must have probably deposited some money into this platform in the past which through it, you've invested or traded and made profit, now they are asking you to make another deposit before they finally lock you out completely.

Don't listen to whatever big  Grammer they are blowing, it's a scam, don't give them any dime of your hard-earned money anymore.
That is it, I don't know why they are taxing the ops 10% because most stock brokers charge 3% and deductions are done from the user's balance, nkf is being asked to deposit a fresh amount while his funds are already locked in there, truly this is a known scam, and ops should consider the money gone, and the best the g to do i. This situation is to move one and report that platform to the authority if he can.

Any platform asking you to deposit before you withdraw your balance is a potential scam, and if there should be any charges they will be on your balance and not being asked to make new deposits.
3274  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin flasher on: July 28, 2023, 12:16:09 AM
This is the first time o am hearing of such name like bitcoin flasher and i am curious to know how that works, i know of fake alart and even the so called fake alart if you are smart enough, it wont take your 5 seconds to discover which is fake alart from real alart from your bank.

I believe same thing also, so just like the first comment pointed out several ways for you to verify Bitcoin transactions, let me add this to it, if anyone sends you Bitcoin, all that you need to ask to clarify things is to demand the transaction Id/harsh, that way you can verify the transactions on the blockchain.

So if the Bitcoin transaction is a fake one, its records won't be available on the public ledger called a blockchain., this is why Bitcoin transactions are more secure compared to the traditional payment system.
3275  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: July 27, 2023, 11:45:28 PM
Both casinos are definitely connected, actually, I even recall a singular case when a member of the 1xbit campaign seemly was tasked to whitewash the accusations of them being connected and tried to edit the Wikipedia page of 1xbet, in order to make it appear in a possible light in the eyes of anyone reading the article there. Fortunately, some people realized this and included it among the red tags of the user, as a comment.

One must wonder who far one is willing to go to edit wiki pages for a shady service like that.
Lol. I remember that idiot. His name was Erdogan and he tried his best to defend the site and his reasons for advertising, but ultimately failed badly at the end thanks to his own stupidity.

I believe he got banned later on since he broke one or more forum rules receiving proper karma.

To this day I wonder whether he decided to edit the Wikipedia page by his own or he was instructed to do so by other people in a higher position. Because to me, it does not sound normal some participant of a signature campaign would be willing to go out their way to defend the casino they promote, in such a specific way.

Anyways, I knew he got banned, which is quite rare considering the policies of this forum and the way so many scammers are left to roam around.
Well the 1xbit team could go to any length and they could have hired the guy to work on their Wikipedia account rating and writing just to cover up their tracks, I still remember when that sega was high in the forum and how the user try to make multiple comments on different threads and on different occasion trying to defend the scam casino.

But ultimately the member of the forum stood and resisted every attempt to spread mischievous information and corrected all fake attempts with the reality of things, knowing fully well that 1xbits.
3276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you measure your success in Crypto currency on: July 27, 2023, 11:38:25 PM
Many said its absolutely a scam, pathetic and more. but crypto currency has favored to those who trusted on it, In terms of cross border payment, p2p and vice versa the domination of crypto is keep on increasing. In terms of investment people knew only Crude, stocks, bonds, stock market, gold etc...but this platform made a way ahead to make money harder and smarter, I know most of the government's are not favoring this but in upcoming years you will see the green signal for crypto as well.

I personally feel it has changed most of us in our life, In terms of technology and development we every one know the way we are heading towards web3, metaverse, defi are remarkable. All credits to development of bitcoin Smiley I am earning this from as well, I never thought I would make much decent money in this sector. Share your success as well thankyou Cheesy
We have recorded more success than failure in some cryptocurrency industries,  and many of those who blanketly call cryptocurrencies like bitcoin a scam are all doing so because of the ignorance of the truth and facts of the subject of bitcoin and cryptography which Satoshi introduced a couple of years ago.

With all the late development and invention in the industry,  one is certain that in the coming years, we are going to witness more positive development that will change a lot of things around our human existence, and a good example is the web3 metaverse development that has transformed the way human works and interact with the virtual environment all through the help of advanced technology and development that is aided by cryptocurrency and the blockchain technologies.
3277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be pulled by the hype of meme coins on: July 27, 2023, 11:30:50 PM
Meme coins are basically known for the hype that goes with it. Doge coin, Shiba Inu, and recently, Pepe are among the meme coins that have gained popularity in recent times and have also attracted the birth of numerous meme coins with most of them practically useless. Basically, people like to be associated with success, so it is not surprising that we see most recent meme coins with the name associated with Pepe - with most of them built to defraud or with get-rich-quick intention and usually targeted on the newbies in the crypto space. On this note, newbies who intend to invest in these meme coins, IMO, should be cautious and carry out detailed research on them as most of the meme coins are specifically built to defraud unsuspecting community members.
I dont know why many investors take meme coins too serious to me, meme coins shouldn't be taken as an investment rather it should be taken as a gamble, since their are best for short term speculations build only on hype without any ecosystem that could provide liquidity for their long term sustenance, and more or less we can say that meme coins should be taken as just a joke, which os the original motive for their creation, dogecoin is a good example of what a joke meme coins are.

But if you know how to predict their market and are smart enough to pull out at the right time, it will help a lot in helping to make the best use of their pump mechanism, that is why we refer to meme coins as speculative assets.
3278  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin is Good but it cannot replace our Naira on: July 27, 2023, 11:23:21 PM
I wanted to pay online, I was unable to use naira master card, I used bitcoin. A friend asked of money from me in a deal, I said I did not have naira on me at the time, he told me he can receive it in bitcoin or altcoin. Bitcoin is an alternative and it makes life easier. Not on bitcoin white paper that it would be a replacement, but just a direct peer-to-peer means of payment.
I agree with you, bitcoin is the best alternative to the naira and no one is pushing Bitcoin to be a replacement for the naira because that will never happen, and just as you said I could still remember the last time we did a financial deal, I suggested you send me naira but you opted to send coin rather and the process was fast for the both of us,  but I haven't used Bitcoin to make payments online before and I don't even have any Bitcoin virtual card that I can use for that purpose, can you suggest anyone for me?

I will love to try it out paying bills or other online transactions using Bitcoin directly could be a big relief since one will not need to go through the stress of changing the Bitcoin to naira before being able to spend it.
3279  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What factors affect life expectancy? on: July 27, 2023, 11:16:32 PM
What factors affect life expectancy?

Ukrainians and Russians would say, war, guns, rockets, explosives, tanks, fighter jets, etc., etc.

Cool
Bad situations around the world, aside from all the weapons and all those intercontinental anti-ballistic missiles flying over the space of some war nations, we have other factors that also affect those in the sub-Saharan desert who die of starvation.

I guess we have several horrible global occurrences that affect the life expectancy in different categories and are peculiar to individual own environments.
3280  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: CZ called Binance Nigeria scam entity on: July 27, 2023, 11:04:19 PM
Is it true that there is a Binance Nigeria Limited company based in Lagos Nigeria? I read where CZ said that it's a scam organization, that they are just aware of it's existence in the country? Nigerians on here can anyone confirm if this is a fact?

Be careful of anyone claiming to be Binance because they don't have Nigeriams Binance or whatever the name may appears, we have Binance US ad Binance global, there are Nigerians working with Binance from their head office, they have maybe some representative if fee in Nigeria but am not sure, if you come across any website claiming Nigeria Binance then check them well because rhey might be scammers operating on a cloned website to impose Binance.

It's now I am even thinking about the possibility that scammers can make this happen, a exchange company that's very popular can be run in another location where there was no services from the original exchange and make it look like it's still the same company, I have heard such stories before.

Always lauch into a website from their original web address and if you don't know how to identify one, always ask others you think are reliable to help you out, they are not only attacking Binance but many other reputable organization and industries suffer their attacks of this manners.
Nigerians are the most gullible people and when it comes to scam, the scheme trive so much in Nigeria, and the coming of cryptocurrencies and the decentralized market have also triggered alot of such scam up, and if one is not smart enough in this cryptocurrency space, you may records alot of loses and this is something that one need to be careful about.

Binance is a global cryptocurrency exchange so at that, many scammers will want to take advantage of the popularity of the name to be able to scam unsuspecting Nigerians, this is one such case and I guess the victim whose 1 million dollars is held in that scam exchange will not be the only victim, we may have some other members of the public who may be afraid to speak out, so I suggest the Sec should order for the arrest of those behind that scam.
