most likely would place a bid. btw, i don't think CI will auction this coin at a low price.?

edit: depends on the actual design too.

If you don't already have one reserved, I recommend putting your money down while you still can if you do genuinely want one.

I would think people won't be selling or will put a hefty premium on them after all are distributed.

BTW #1 papersafe auction battle, epic - I was surprised by this article

previous plan was to auction coin #1. Not sure whats CI's plan currently.

If the starting bid was the full price that it is currently, would you place a bid?

Does this one come with the larger storage NFC tag?

YES.....Both #9 and #10 have the larger storage tags.....They will be programmed with BlackSeal Authenticity service to prevent hardware NFC cloning and anti forgery  https://blackseal.trustpoint.ca/features   The NFC tags are cryptographicly protected and can not be duplicated.. This is the primary authentication mechanism for papersafe documents.. .....They will also be unlocked... So you can use it for what ever purpose you want .....  I like GreenAddress app log ins.....  A paperSafe certificate  as collectable  for resale...you might want to leave the Tag as is....But if you really want to store bitcoins on a PaperSafe wallet..... The NFC tag is open to any available method and all that has not been discovered...

Very cool, thanks for the information.   Smiley

I got two colors in my roll: a green with * and a blue with ****. The coins are nice. A little bigger than I wanted, but nice. I wish more coins were the original casascius 1 btc size.

Very nice, I had a similar take as well but the hologram just looks awesome!   Grin

I personally do not have an issue with the size as I would rather have the poker chip than a half dollar.  Here are some pictures:

I have individual coins available for users based in the US, please reach out to me via PM if you would like one.  If you are based out of EU and would like individual coins, Mitchell is running a group buy here - [GROUP BUY][EU] Ravenbit NODE Bronze.  Smiley

As expected, Ravenbit did a great job!

Looks like a nice collection you're getting rid of there, if you shipped international i might have bought something.

Thanks, I have sent nrg1zer a international shipping quote and await his response.  Let me know what you're looking at and I can provide a quote if you're still interested.

I will have a couple spare also.  (US)

Put me down in your mental list as interested in 1 or 2. Just shoot me a PM whenever you find out they've shipped to you to check in, thanks.

Will do, I believe they shipped today and should be arriving by the weekend.

Very cool, looking forward to the 20 coins (wondering who bought the other 20 so far Grin).

These holograms definitely look spectacular and I can't wait to see them in person; all the other Ravenbit coins were great so far.   Smiley

I nearly bought the pack of 25 when I first got the email so I'm glad I didn't as you refined the pricing structure since the email went out.

Thanks

The original plan was to sell the coins in rolls of 20 (not 25), but I decided to sell them in rolls of 10, and offer discounts for purchases of 20 coins and 100 coins.

Thanks for the clarification, looking at the original email I now realize I thought it was 20 sets of 25 coins instead of 25 sets of 20 coins.  Smiley

Article sounded similar to the Vice documentary I've seen with the exception of hydro power.  It doesn't sound like the workers of these mines make a lot but I'm guessing it's more than they were taking in prior.

I was buying the story until this ...

Quote
I thought my life at home was simple, but watching these short-statured miners sleep in the same tiny bed, and drink from the same tiny cup, made me appreciate the joy of true simplicity. At times it was approaching 60 degrees Celsius in our sleeping quarters, but these tiny men took the heat in stride, smiling and joking that if the heat didn't kill them, it would only make them stronger miners.

Where was this quote pulled from?

Agreed, looking for this detail as well.

Well it's consistently 50+ degrees in many indian restuarants (in india)

Dang, I hope they have good air circulation.  Smiley

Didn't read it yet but I will take a look, 60 degrees Celsius is hot enough to cause hyperthermia from what I know.   Wink
