Show me a chart of an altcoin trading at an all time high that would pique my interest.

Any good cloud mining alternatives to Scrypt.cc? Please...  Cry

Sure. If you want provable mining there is always Hashnest. PACMiC v1 or S5 contracts.
3263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop From $249 on: May 13, 2015, 10:20:32 PM
Take a look at DanV EW analysis on TradingView. His take on corrective wave C ending at $90-$120 is well thought out. If the prediction pans out not only would you be able to buy cheap coins but since 8 wave cycle would be complete you could cheer for new highs in 2016.
3264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop From $249 on: May 13, 2015, 04:10:58 PM
Bitcoin price is still in an obvious downtrend

Weekly close over $300 could signal end of the bear market or we could easily see $100 level tested IMO.

Shameless self promotion for Bitcoin News Magazine. New kid on the block so we are trying hard to publish fresh articles that are not just a rehash of news seen elsewhere.
3266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does this exist? BTC wallet type bank card (no usb) on: May 13, 2015, 03:53:25 PM
With Bit-X or Xapo you spend funds directly from your wallet bitcoin balance. www.choosecase.com seems closest to what you are looking for, costs $199 and shipping early summer.

3267  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2015 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: May 13, 2015, 03:42:16 PM
I can vouch for AdvCash. Their card has been working without issues for a while already. I did not get the physical card because of its cost (I would never really use it at a retail store), but the virtual-only works great.

I lke the service offered by Advcash, just some weird limits & minimum deposits to activate a card etc....

I have the AdvCash card and support is fast and friendly and physical card works fine at POS terminals. Reloading is fast. Also using the Bit-X and WageCan cards without problems.
3268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Critical Levels - EW analysis on: May 13, 2015, 03:14:45 PM
2nd time in 2 days you've trolled the 2 open EW-based threads here. If you dislike it so much and it's so utterly useless why are you even watching them ?

I would like to point out that complaining about DanV's analysis is hardly the sign of an uber-bull / EW hater. Plenty of bears (and EW lovers) do so as well Smiley

To his (DanV's) credit, he has been on the "prolonged bear market" train for a long time, but his targets and counts tend to be quite off, at least that's the impression I got over the last year or so.

I have found his forecasts incredibly useful. Proper TA traders wouldn't fault him for his off the mark targets because, they are probabilities - just to give a sense of direction!

That line of argument --his targets are off-- is tired TBH. Are there analysts who forecast price action right down to the mark? name me one

Last time , he said we'd go down  to around $210 then back up to a higher price. Now how was that off the mark???

Also, i wonder how many actually bother to sit through his hangouts? He always adds caveats

I have been following DanV analysis with interest. I would have no problem trading off a dip to $100 for true completion of an eight wave EW cycle.

Good to hear you are now shipping cards to US congrats!
3270  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: May 12, 2015, 09:01:38 PM

Who in their right mind would preorder a card which could very well be vapourware when there are already many reputable bitcoin debit cards shipping now to choose from? Preorders often end badly. I like the concept of the www.choosecase.com hardware wallet but passed on preordering, will wait until shipping is straight away.
3271  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Exchange BTC, LTC, USD, EUR, GBP | Instantly Mine & Trade GH/s on: May 10, 2015, 12:16:22 AM
Thanks for sending me BIT-X card, i added it to my account there, but I didn't order any.
Is this free as I am in first 10000 users or what? I prefer to use my card when it will have 3D enabled, so far it hasn't. Plus I am funding via BTC, just bought 18 GHS for 0.03 BTC, you guys are quite expensive, I hope you are worth it.

You were sent one as you were verified! There are no active monthly fees for the first 10,000 users, correct. Other fees still apply.

Bit-x is doing really great and there are no competitors around. Smiley

ANX, AdvCash and WageCan are.

For the debit card those are some 'competitors' although they don't offer debit cards, but rather prepaid cards.

I might be silly but I don't get advantages of using a debit card over prepaid card. Bank account linked debit cards do have some privileges compared to prepaid cards but I don't understand privileges for a Bitcoin debit card.

* Assuming these prepaid cards are reloadable. In India, AdvCash prepaid card isn't available. So I couldn't test it.

It's exactly like having a real debit card, you have your balance on site and spend it whenever/wherever you wish!

Debit: Funds are taken directly from your Bit-X wallet. No need to fund it manually. Once you pay for something, BTC is exchanged instantly at the time of payment, not before or after (you won't lose money due to the volatile exchange rate).

Prepaid: Funds must be loaded by the user manually. Funds are converted once loaded so you may lose money due to the volatile exchange rate. Likewise, many prepaid services have lower exchange rates for deposits, meaning you'll receive less fiat for your BTC than on Bit-X.

Academic at this point because ANX, WageCan and AdvCash cards are working and Bit-x is not. Why send out cards that do not work yet?

It is an incomplete list. It does not contain cloudmining.website, which is paying consistently for over six months now and publishing blockchain payment proof - www.cloudmining.website/payments.php

If you read the very first page of this thread cloudmining.website is listed as a probable ponzi. I maintain a list of proven legit services, and also steer readers away from the ponzis.

yet you mention Cloudminr.io?

Mentioning is no endorsement. From the article "We recommend you invest with caution in the riskier cloud mining services like Bitcoin Cloud Services and cloudminr.io if at all. Those providers neither provide photo evidence of a real mining operation or a public mining address. Any cloud mining investment carries some risk so do your homework before buying."

Also "If transparency and legitimacy are key you can purchase bitcoin cloud mining from Hashnest, GetHashing, ZeusHash, BW.com or Bit-X."

It's your money, invest as you please.

Is this card related to Josh Garza in any form?

Yes. Good reason to stay away.

If 34 E Dudley Town Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002 is now a vacant building where are the Prime Controllers physically located, anyone know for certain?
3278  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANX working against the spirit of Bitcoin on: May 01, 2015, 02:28:13 AM
With much excitement I signed up for the ANX debit card, ordering the max of 10 cards, and paying nearly 300 USD, plus loading my cards and express mail verification.  I had to wait 3 months to apply as I need to switch power bills in my name.

I hold a USA passport but have permanent residency in Ecuador, meaning I have life time residency, government issued ID, and legal this is my tax residency, and KYC residency.

WARNING to all getting excited about ANX, ANX will refuse you without giving any reason at all and you may lose your money for your printed cards. I provided 3 photo IDs, me holding all of these IDs and a power bill from the government power company.  I paid over 500 USD, and I still have not received back my money.  I am here at the house waiting for an express verification that may never come.

I received the following:

"Thank you for submitting the verification documents again. Kindly note that we received all your verification documents as many as you described.
Unfortunately in this instance our external KYC vendor has not approved your application. The vendor does not disclose specific details as to why a verification request is rejected.
Our sincerest apologies but we can not proceed further with your verification request.
Apologies that we can not be more helpful.
Keith
Customer Support Team"

Ok bitcoin community, its not us, its  "our external KYC vendor" that is screwing you.

We are refusing you without reason, or refund is the jest of it.  Does this sound like what we as the bitcoin community should accept from our providers?  I would expect a bank to refuse without cause.  Bitcoins are about being transparent. For example, you have been denied because you are american, at least that I can understand, and I know not to refer USA passport holders to ANX.

I have no criminal record and good credit.  Is it the color of my skin? Is it my country?  They dont say, is this what we should expect from our bitcoin providers?

We need to stand up together and make sure companies like ANX cannot do stuff like this.  ANX has the right to refuse, but they most certainly should give a reason, and not pass the buck onto "external providers".

I am in contact with the local bitcoin community, both in Chili, peru and Ecuador to see what can be done to make sure our block isnt discriminated in this fashion, and ANX will be brought up in a public forum of my bitcoin peers.  I will state my name and not pass the buck on to external providers.

In the mean time use cation when applying for cards from them, as you may lose hours of your time.  I am not going to go as far as calling them a scam at this point, but I am certainly out 500 USD that has not yet been refunded and it appears cards are in the mail.

In the very least I am owed 500 USD and an explanation of why I have been refused.

Anyone who was rejected by ANX when applying for a bitcoin debit card should apply for the WageCan card instead, their approval process is much less complicated and you will most likely be approved.

what is this new card have never heard of it anywhere before right now, and i never knew anyone could be denied for a anx debit card considering it is a reloadable card

I have read several reports of people being turned down for the ANX card, usually because of a recent address change or poor credit score. Approval is not automatic it seems. WageCan is one of three bitcoin debit cards shipping to US. Outside of the US there are other options full listing at your bitcoin debit card options.

Can one resell GH/s on hashnest? What's their price per GH/s in BTC?

Certainly. Ask for Antminer S5 GH/s is currently .00138650 btc/GH/s or at $231/btc GH equal to an Antminer S5 (1155) would be $370, so it is a bit cheaper to buy on the exchange than pay $390 at the direct buy link for a hosted S5. Bid is .00138 btc/GH/s.

So you can buy GH/s then resell them at any later date?

Sure can. Same thing with Bit-X and GetHashing. GetHashing does not have an exchange of course but buyers are easily found at the GetHashing forum.
