3261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: August 04, 2021, 10:57:46 PM
Using the term "idiot" for those who are risking their money in gambling is way below the belt. You can't blame them and call them "idiot" for making a choice to know the result, that's part of our lives, making choices. It's better to risk than doing nothing at all while keep on thinking what might happen.

But it has a consequence of course. Pushing yourself too far just to make money in gambling will lead you to addiction that will make gambling even more harder than your first time doing it.
Anything that do exceed into your limit can really be called idiots or fools that do let themselves fall into the pit of addiction and false hope that they could make theirselves rich with gambling.
House do always win in the end even though there are times which some people could really make some negative profit in the house when they won big but in long term process as people
would continue to play then profits or revenue wont really be that a problem. They wouldnt last that long if they werent really making sufficient profits.
So its up to someone to have that kind of limitation when it comes to finances.
3262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What hatred do people have for Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2021, 09:56:15 PM
Most of the time bitcoin haters were the newbies to the cryptocurrency market. Beginners just get into cryptocurrency trading or other form of investment believing it as a way to make profit. Fortunately this won't happen everytime, and when the market doesn't support the predictions what happens is loss. This time the user doens't have the mind to accept the mistake, but states that cryptocurrency market is wrong. This is how haters emerge in the market.
Or simply to those people who had expected that much into this market and even do thinks that they could really be rich in no time or have lots of money in a short span of time and when reality do slaps into their faces then this is the time they do realize that it isnt simple as it sounds or not really that possible on what they do have in mind. For those people who cant just accept the reality then it turns out that they do become haters
instead of becoming a new supporter but for sure sooner or later they would really be that having curiousity in mind and will come back but already have that knowledge that they
had get into their past mistakes.
3263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: August 04, 2021, 08:56:41 PM

A well trusted casino turning out to be a scam in the end is like 1 out of 1,000,000 chances.

It is really a slim chance to happen except when they are closing up and announcement would have been made to customers because they have built friendship and among empire of people and they might reopen in the future. Reputation is like the check you have to withdraw money from the bank, a bounce check is definitely a bad money just like a bad reputation does not yield good proceed.
Once trust would be broken then it would really be hard to get it back when users or the community would able to experience shady activities or simply doing not being fair issues.
Building trust isnt something that can be done in few months time but it would take couple of years and you wont able to sustain if you dont know on how to handle your business
in the first place. Retaining users would be depending on the perks and bonuses that you do offer and of course with other factors as well like design and good user experience.
When you are making a business then this would be your main priority.,
3264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your total capital is in crypto? on: August 03, 2021, 11:54:29 PM
Have you ever calculated how much of your total capital is in cryptocurrency?

In my case, i have 60% of my money in bank accounts, 20% in stock market, 5% in cash and only 15% in crypto.

Bank - 80%
Crypto - 15%
Cash - 5%

Yeah, it is mostly in banks and i do only put a small percentage on crypto but doesnt mean that i wont be putting more anytime soon.

Im just re-rolling my investment and if it turns out to be profitable then that might be the time i would be adding things up.
This is personal preference because there are people who dont love to risk that much including me.
3265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 03, 2021, 10:47:39 PM
Every increase in taxation is really good for a country as long as it will serve the right purpose. It's a valid point that government will rely on their source of revenue for those industries that are not affected during the pandemic and one of those is gambling.

As long as the added percentage given is reasonable, gambling owners will fairly accept it without a problem.
Exactly, if it goes in the right direction then I wouldn't mind having a big tax imposed on me, just look at some of the successful and 1st class economy in Europe, they make free healthcare and colleges hell some even pay students to attend college because they have high taxes and people sees the taxes being used the right way.
People will not complain if taxes are used the right way, besides, this tax is not a tax for necessities, so it's alright to increase the tax as we have an option to gamble or not. Like a lottery, the revenue is used for government projects and we play the lottery although the chance is very slim (close to nothing), so it should not be a burden for us gamblers.
And also being a gambler isnt a mandatory thing but rather a matter of choice and also to those business owners where taxation is something in default even though there might be some changes in rates or deduction
but at least you do know that it does have specific benefits on a certain country and that depends on what type of government you do have its neither a corrupted one or really that mindful about development
on where those taxes is been applied on the right way then this wont really be an issue for most gambling site or even those typical business owners.
3266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: August 03, 2021, 08:56:46 PM
It probably has to do more of the mental aspect when it comes to gambling and being competitive in general. The more effort you give and strategize to a game, the more you will be affected when you lose. In your case, you get to enjoy your winnings because its either unexpected or you didn't really spend effort or time to make a precise decision on who to bet on. In result, your unexpected winnings would seem effortless for you and you feel more lucky than normal.
So it is more attractive to luck because gambling itself provides an opportunity to win for anyone, no matter what background their life is. If he has spent a lot of time and money to get the win that way, then of course it will be an emotion that can be controlled to achieve victory, even though not everyone is able to control emotions under pressure.
Due to the nature of the gambler who is relatively unable to control his emotions, which ultimately spoils the game. Sometimes gambling isn't just about winning, it's more about satisfaction and entertainment. As I did a few days ago because I was stressed out looking for a 15-word SEED for a lost wallet that contained about $3000. I decided to gamble on one of the sites that I still use quite often since 3 years ago and I don't care about winning or losing, because at that time I really needed entertainment. And strangely enough, I actually won the bet. LOL
When it comes to entertainment then people do usually need this because there are really times which we do like to engage into something which would relieve out our stress but when we do deal
already with money then it turns out that things do change when it comes to our motives on where entertainment seeking comes to pure gambling or attracted on making out income with it.
Emotion is just a normal part but doesnt mean that it would affect luck chance for you to win the game. There's no factor that could affect your winning probabilities.
3267  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid lessons learned know when to finish on: August 03, 2021, 07:50:25 PM
Covid shows us you must know When to finish.
When your business doing too good you have to sell it.

Many people who sold their assets before covid was right about.

Good example are all kind of business with debt and own rent money to landlords.
Conclusion: dont Stay on something too long know When to finish and Move on!

Lesson learned dont stay too relaxed cash out and Move on!

This is the reason why I don't advocate HODL entirely. It's always better to sell when you think we are on the top. Or best is to use a trailing SL when we break an ATH. My personal experience has been that opportunity lost will always come back again, those who regretted missing buying btc at 30-40k got their chance again if they preserved their capital but if they went in on a higher price, they have actually lost money actually. People shouldn't be afraid to take advantage of market movements obviously unless you have such a huge amounts of btc that withdrawing it on an exchange could pose troubles.
When i was just noob back before then i do really have that kind of fixed mindset where i do really need to hold which it isnt only on Bitcoin but also into those altcoins that i do tend to hold or bought on.
I do always have that impression that when you do hold then its guaranteed that you would make money in future years to come but thats not the case happened to me on where i did really earn some
but most of coins ive been holding is on the negative side and i did have that kind of feeling of regret when i do missed up those pumps and never came back into that level which would really
give you that regrets that you cant really easily to forgot.
3268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 02, 2021, 11:59:29 PM
That's where the parents come in, if they let their children be exposed to it without doing anything, I think that they have already failed as a parent, you are the first defense of your child or any child for that matter to prevent them from discovering things that they aren't ready for yet.

Exactly, but what I've seen is there are rare situations where parents weren't able to know about their child until he has become a gambler and is under a huge debt.
Educating children in their childhood is the best thing you can do and hope for the rest of their future that they don't think about gambling as a source of income.
There are instances like these because we cant really monitor our children 24/7 which means theres always a tendency that you would really be missing out those times on where they had able to encounter something which is inappropriate into their age which should really be avoided. Giving them some lectures or realizations on early age is much more better thing to be done rather than telling them when they are already old.
Im not saying its already late to guide them up but there are really difference when those children of yours had made out some realization on early age.
3269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin solve the world's debt problem on: August 02, 2021, 11:12:45 PM
Can Bitcoin provide a way out of the world's debt problem? The current fiat world incentives debt through currency debasement and cheap debt. Too much debt can be a problem for long-term productivity and raises questions about sustainability.

Is bitcoin a possible solution to this mess? If more and more people start going from fiat to bitcoin, can we at least end up having a soft landing when shit hits the fan? Or will bitcoin exascabate the problem instead? Is there still hope for this world?
Debt problem? Come to think of on how big the cap of Fiat we do have and imagine on whats the cap of Bitcoin? Debt isnt something to be united and each country does have its own debt
which means this would really be paid up personally or by their own and wont be minding other countries debts. Dont think or stress out yourself on minding that BItcoin could solve
world debt issues because there are global problems which is almost impossible to be resolved even with this current generation.
3270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: August 02, 2021, 10:15:54 PM
If you think logically, gambling companies are supposed to be entertainment; however, some people are taking it seriously in order to earn large sums of money, and it is their fault for having that mindset and not being concerned about their financial situation.

It's not totally wrong to treat gambling seriously for a purpose of earning large sums of money. For a gambler, I like that mindset rather than the common quote here to only gamble the amount afford to lose and just gamble for fun. With that mindset and target to earn large money, it will make a gambler serious and focus making it the reason why should they won, at least.

But unfortunately, as you have mentioned, others aren't being concerned about their financial situation and it now affects their life outside gambling. It's something that gambling companies don't have control so it's not valid if they will be held responsible for that.
A very wrong mindset to have and why would companies would be taking the blame if the gambler becomes addicted? Its true that gambling could be addictive but you arent forced to play on said place
which this is a matter of someones decision in terms of their finances and if they do mess up then they have no rights on suing out the company just because they become broke because of gambling.
All matters on how you do handle your finances and you wont really be ending up on that situation and you have no right on blaming everyone but only blame yourself on why you hadnt able
to control yourself when it comes to gambling.
3271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: August 02, 2021, 09:20:42 PM
I am much more impressed by the HOLD strategy. All the same, it is much easier to study the market, understand how it works, where technologies are developing, and then make a choice in favor of certain products.
In trading, you are always running on the edge of a knife, stumbling and losing money in the process. In the case of investing and understanding how everything works, you greatly reduce your risks.
Trading might be the fastest way to gain money, but it's on a condition that you need to be smart and good in trading,  however, in buying the holding, this one is quite easy that anyone can do, it does not require skills, basic knowledge only and trust on the coin they are buying, that's enough to use this simple strategy.
Fastest way? depending on how a certain trader would really be doing this and there are people who doesnt really like to get their hands wet and would rather choose on holding.
This is a personal preference because not all would really be that skillful or good on making trades. Its up to someones choice neither he holds or not because
its their money to use or spent and if they lost then its their loss not ours.We do have different decisions in life to take.
3272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: August 02, 2021, 06:51:55 PM

It's better to guide them in their early stage as internet gain a wide access around the world, kids are more explorer they are prone as there many ways to learn gambling once their attentions being caught by this activities.

Always make sure that you are aware to whatever activities your kids are doing,

indeed internet can use for good and bad you have to workactively in patronizing your kids.

Advancement of technology is inevitable and the parenting style of prohibiting gadgets to the child isn't working anymore so as a parent a new parenting style that must be work on I guess is better to let them explore but always pay attention in everything a child doing. Today, children is very much engaged in technology and whether we like it or not they could learn anything from the use of their gadgets so a focus of a parents to guide their child is very much needed.
All matters on how you do handle your child because being a responsible parent would always reflect on what are the behavior that his sons and daughter have.If they were raised on the right path
then they would really be aware on things around even they would really see it upfront but since they are full aware on things then they would just simply skip or ignore and if they do tend to
engage then everything is still in control. Its inevitable for them to see those things due to this developing technology where accessibility is really as easy with simple clicks and ticks.
3273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the pandemic is still going on.. on: July 31, 2021, 08:50:32 PM
the pandemic is still going on..

Let's talk a little bit about our steps in this difficult time..
like many airdrops that take place, do we still have hope and also believe in the existence of airdrops that are now starting to be offered on platforms or social media..
and what kind of airdrop has made you successful during this pandemic?
A good add up but wont really be that ideal if you do make it as a source of income because most of airdrops are just scams or would totally ending up on having no value at all but its not a bad idea
if you do have the free time in doing so and as long theres no KYC and there no deposit or something like that then its not really that bad on at least claiming some airdrops and you wouldnt
know if one of those coins you claimed did really make out some good pump and would able to make some free money out of those free coins but never ever put all of your time
on hunting airdrops because it wouldnt really be worth of.
3274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 31, 2021, 07:49:57 PM
We were all children once! So before you start setting up some rules remember your childhood!

I have kids, and I don't plan to hide anything from them... Like for us, this world is slowly revealing to them, with all good and bad things! According to their age, I will teach them what they are able to understand... We parents must show our kids what is good and what is bad, and how to not overdo something, that can harm them in any possible way! After all, "life school" is something we all need to pass... so is there anyone better to explain things to kids than parents?!
Im also a family man and im really that serious on raising up my kids on a good way and wont really restrict out that much even though they arent doing anything.
I just dont want to end up on being overprotective because that would really be not a nice way on handling your kids.Just tell them on whats good and bad
and dont be tired on reminding them about those things and since we do have experience then we do just want to raise them up without experiencing problems.
Although its not an assured thing or perfect parenting but at least you have done on what should be done.
3275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: July 31, 2021, 06:44:26 PM
Many other cryptocurrencies have been improved upon based on Bitcoin. In other words, Bitcoin must be inferior to them, but why is Bitcoin's value number one by far?
Why is Bitcoin worth so much? Huh
There's always a thing called "demand" and it doesnt matter if this one is a bit outdated compared to new ones but we cant really just throw out on where all these things had started?
Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and its just right that it would really be having that kind of treat up or recognition by the public since its the origin and you cant do anything about
it if it turns out that majority or the community is  really eyeing on the king of crypto. It wont really be reaching out all time highs if it werent popular in the first place.
Alts would always turn out to be alternatives as the name suggest but we wont know if there would be some switch up in the future.
3276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: July 30, 2021, 11:48:57 PM
I think so, as Axie Infinity is now planning an Esports. This is still new for Axie Infinity and there are still so many things that might happen in the future that will make Axie Infinity more popular all over the world. Imagine if Axie Infinity will become Esports the price of SLP and AXS will go higher and higher hoping that it will become more successful in the future.
^ I hope they can fix their laggy server, it was always lag when I was visited the server battle. Well, that is not bad for them if they will enter the Esports game since they had a good game that is good for bettors. They are talking Esports now when the fact that there are many issues to be fixed first before this, I know there are thousands or even millions of users in axie infinity, and probably there many of them drive more than one account for farming the SLP. Nevertheless, speaking of the play-to-earn game not only axie infinity was there, consider the defipet too.
They had already fixed that lagg issues that happened 2 weeks ago and also the server was already smooth for a week now which is really a good indication that they are fixing the server
issues and able to retain their players and now it is growing even more bigger. Next on line would be that esports suggestions and recommendations that this might will happen on this year.
Gambling with it? it will vary because there's no assurance on what would be the arrangement in the future.
3277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Obvious price push on: July 30, 2021, 10:42:21 PM
On this day, we experienced a 14% price increase and then fell to 37,000. At first, an anonymous source inside Amazon told CityAM, a London business newspaper, that Amazon planned to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of 2021. She stated that Bitcoin is the first step for Amazon to realize its cryptocurrency ambitions. Although the news spread quickly under the media or professionals, Amazon did not immediately issue a statement denying the rumors. What is happening now after this is that Amazon has denied the City AM rumors. I opened the market and saw that it was already falling. In the matter of Musk and Amazon, investors in our market pay too much attention to them and expect them to make a difference.

https://cryptobriefing.com/amazon-denies-rumours-of-cryptocurrency-support/?utm_source=cryptorank&utm_medium=rss

It is already obvious that the so-called news and rumors have caused the price of Bitcoin to rise. This has always been the driving force for the promotion of cryptocurrency, and everything is related.

On this relative movements that created more desirable increase, it's now happening with bitcoin and other cryptocurrency market value. The price lately begun to spike as of this moment, and it green signals is currently showing on as an indication for buyers and holders. It's a good opportunity for day traders but just a chill time for long term traders.
One of the nicest thing when you are a holder is that you wont really be stressing out yourself in regards of price movements because your main priority is on how to accumulate more coins
and wouldnt care on what are the price as of this moment but for short term traders or investors then this would really be a stressful thing.Take for example on whats the real reason on
why the price had make out some significant rise from 30k to 40k? Theres none right? This is just proving and showing off that market could really be that unpredictable
Lots had already thought that it is really going to dump and going back to 20k.
3278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 30, 2021, 09:52:51 PM
^^ I think it's more on the purse that Manny needed, not the fight itself if he wanted to really run for the highest office in his country. He might get close to 1 billion php in his fight against Spence and we all know that running a public office in the Philippines requires tons of money to get your campaign going.

So regardless if he wins or lose against Spence, he will have that money he needed to pursue his presidential bid. And I don't think he will get more that popular if he wins, because he is already that popular anyway.

But actually, the question is, can he guarantee a win if he increases his popularity?

Honestly, I think the majority of the voters know the name "Manny Pacquiao", but we still see that his rating has dropped, which means a lot, in a negative way.  He will have to beat that trust rating.  -----  Duterte maintains high approval, trust ratings

Not sure if Manny can beat his trust ratings even if he win against Spence here.

He is already on the opposition side, no that is already a big disadvantage for him. The drop was obviously due to his recent corruption allegations on the current administration. And it didn't sit well with Duterte and his followers that why they insinuated a lot in the social media and troll Manny. But step aside politics, if he 'upset' Spence his popularity about the boxing community grow, he is already a legend and this win will cement his position even further, but I'm not sure if the win will change the Filipino's mind on voting him in the election.

I will bet 2 is to 10, he won't. Politics in the Philipines is not anymore about popularity, they had already elected the president that majority wants, and he has a very high trust rating, higher than any president of the Philippines I guess.

Pacquioa just have to focus on this fight, win this fight and he will start thinking wisely about whether he will run for presidency or not.

And the ratings is so high thats why its hard to beat that president even if they throw so many propaganda on him and pacquaio's career in politics is over after this. So he shouls focus on his fight since after this many filipinos will not vote him anymore since he is been exposed that his not good politician and he didn't do good in senate so far.
He had lots of criticisms when he planned out to run for presidency which it is totally out of his genre or skills in specific and i cant really blame out people on having
that kind of mindset or things in mind on where they do ending up on having bad impressions towards him and making out some issues against on the current administration
which did really make the situation even more worst. It would be good for him if he would just stick out on the current place or position that he has and focus on the upcoming
fight and would able to get back on what he had messed out earlier in the minds and impressions of his fellow countrymen.
3279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: They say buy the dips...but how do you know the dip has bottomed out? on: July 30, 2021, 08:27:02 PM
Quote
how do you know the dip has bottomed out?
I assume no one really knows this. Because a coin price is unpredictable, we cannot determine whether it is already at the very bottom or not. But we can predict the price is on the bottom or on the top by learning the price chart and the fundamental factors. That's why learning how to analyze the price chart is necessary, especially for a day trader. Also, don't forget to take a look at the current issue related to the coin. If there will be bad news, the price of crypto can be fee fall severely. In this situation, be careful to set a buy order because the price can drop significantly.

Just common sense because no one could really predict the market and theres no way that you can really know on whats the bottom but basing on analysis then we can really
make some guess or speculation with technical tools that we can use which is already provided. Its up to someone if they would really be following it out and taking a risk
on buying when they do get that indication and this is actually a personal preference or risk taking factor on each individual which would really differ into each other.
We can make our own decisions when that particular situation do happen.
3280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: July 29, 2021, 11:44:01 PM
Unfortunately, this year I cannot boast of any big winnings. The only thing that happens to me is the winnings of a few or so $. Worse is that I can say at least a few big loses. I'm not talking about sports betting, but about the casino and slots.
Unless the casino win can be called the fact that I take part in the 1xBit signature campaign, because I have already received several hundred dollars from them  Grin Grin

We've experienced the same thing this year and I realized that crypto gambling isn't all about winning because there are still unlucky days no matter what strategies we may apply. I also have big losses this year than the profit that I gained. However, I'm still grateful that I was able to control myself from releasing too much funds. There will still be lucky days for us in the future.

So far I have not had greater profits, the greatest gain that I have had was in 2018, when in FreeBitco. In I got almost 0.01btc, that has been my greatest gain with an X5 multiplier and where I almost reached the limit to lose everything. This year I have bet on many platforms, I have not had big profits because I usually play and win a little, after I lost 1600tokens Bfg betting on coinflip, my thought and way of playing went from being very risky to have measured. I also learned to have more self-control, and this self-control I took it from the experience with the trading, which now I also conform with few profits, this does this in this way to get gain but in the long term.

Not necessarily to look for bigger hits or wins as long we do able to control our finances on gambling then what surely matter most and this is also my behavior too where i dont spend up that big to win big
even just hunting for big multipliers for small bets isnt something my genre on playing gambling.Im getting bored with that kind of playstyle on where i do hunt for those with thousands of rolls which
it do really remove the essence of enjoying the game. I dont win big and the last thing i had won out is only 0.3 as far as i remember but those are still the days where
bitcoin price isnt really that high.So it isnt really that a significant amount.
