3261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the risk necessary to make a big profit? on: March 20, 2018, 02:26:55 PM
If it's not then a lot of us now are all billionaires. You are right as risk is important because we always need to put out own money on the line in order to make more money whether it is from the cryptocurrency market or running your own business everything will involve risk in order to make a return or even a loss from your capital. A lot of people fail to see that without risking anything you won't change your life as you will be stuck with what you have and the tendency of losing what you have is bigger compared to risking it now.
3262  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: March 20, 2018, 11:57:09 AM
What is the minimum investment which can be made in Bitdice? I am not getting invest info on site, or is that feature disabled now?
You can't invest directly on bitdice, direct investment was removed when bitdice did the ICO. you can however buy bitdice token(CSNO), it can be bought on etherdelta/hitbtc. you'll get quarterly dividends for holding CSNO tokens, dividends per token will depend on how much profit bitdice makes.

This.

The old investment system was replaced once the tokens were introduced so now you can't invest directly into the site anymore. However the site has been quite profitable lately which means buying tokens might be worth it.

Thanks lite for the answer. The token system does sound very interesting. You are getting quarterly dividends and also you can sell them whenever you wish. Much better than traditional investing I guess. Plus you can invest any amount you want in terms of tokens.

So BoXXoB, one thing that I am still confused about is that ICO is still running or already done. Because the ICO tab is still there on the site?

That is how they created their sort of own "stock" as they have implemented something as dividends for their investors. With this I can see two ways of how the investor would by first is through the quarterly dividends and second is through selling their own token (CSNO) on profit via price appreciation. Just like how you would earn on a stock of a company. Sadly CSNO has fallen through its recent high in December 19 which was .50$ per CSNO, right now you can buy it at 15 cents a token.
3263  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✺ Bumba.io ✺ Social Roulette ✺ Affiliates ✺ Investment ✺ UP TO x50 ✺ 1% HE ✺ on: March 20, 2018, 09:18:43 AM
Not sure if this thread is actually an announcement thread or a signature campaign one. But I think it can't be both. Maybe consider hiring someone professional to handle your signature campaign as this isn't the proper way to do it.

About your investments, isn't 30% site profits just way to low for an investor? Did you mean 30% goes to the site and 70% goes to investors or the other way around?

Greetings,

This is not a signature campaign, I just wanted to put our signatures on the thread so you can see it for yourself.
70% of the sites profit goes to the investors.
30% goes to the site.

Regards.
If this isnt a signature campaign why you do create those signature? For sure you spend some money or count as expenses on that one.You just create for public to see it?It would be more worth of if you do launch a signature camp since signature are already ready but i have doubts that you wont able to do such thing.I dont know if you are really financially capable on doing such marketing.Checking out the bankroll i dont know on how you would pay big wins.

Basically it is OK for them to create those signatures, just like what we have seen at Bitvest before they started the signature campaign. Players are able to use it to promote bitsler if they like it, of course they can use their own referral link on the signature. Indeed it is not good enough for marketing purpose, but as you can see that they seems to be limited in case of funds. So I guess they will not be able to run signature campaign. They can't even make a good promo since launching.

Yup agreed, Bumba.Io didn't hurt/abuse anyone just by posting their signature designs in the forum and also at the same time sharing their signature codes. They are also not forcing anyone to wear their signature codes, and any member can use it freely. Plus if they are not in the position to run their own signature campaign they can make the option open for future purposes. This could be a great way to boost the site as a lot of BitcoinTalk members are into gambling.
3264  Economy / Gambling / Re: 0% house edge, rake and comission on: March 20, 2018, 07:50:00 AM
0% edge can work as a model but not without the rakes and commissions,,, zero everything in your title is simply not possible as a business model, unless you strictly run poker competitions, and earn from advertising, sponsorship and fees (but nobody likes to pay fees, they do not mind commissions or rake though).

Also, as user above posts, if it is on-chain, you pay miner fees. If the tokens like Edgeless are cheap, players do not feel the pinch, but nobody likes to pay extra costs every hand they play.
I would rather improve on other parts of my gambling site than reducing the house edge to 0% as you are personally giving you and your member an equal shot of winning the game (which could be bad for business). Even though a 0% HE is an attractive way to promote your gambling site I don't think it would be good for you financially or if you are looking for 3rd party investors they won't bother looking at your site as House Edge would be important for them. Test the scheme for yourself you will find out what I mean.
3265  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: March 19, 2018, 04:24:17 PM
as I remember Stunna posted few months ago something about adding poker to stake in 2018 , is that still the plan ??
would love to hear if this is still planned and whats the progress so far , cause it seems every new poker site is failing in crypto
but I have faith in stake since there is a good number of active players and some highrollers too
[....]
What do you mean failing in crypto? There is so much poker sites which is still available right now and is still continuing their services till this day
I think by failing he means, the current poker sites don't have much traffic/players. whereas stake has a lot of traffic/players and if they add poker game a lot of people will be playing poker here. i don't expect poker to be added soon on stake. i believe they're currently trying to launch wheel game.
I don't know if it will be also good for current gambling sites to add poker as one of their games. As the current existing ones don't have a lot of players and some times you have to wait in order for your table to start playing. There will be no assurance that their current members are interested in playing poker, they might be betting and playing other games inside of stake. Poker might be failing as a cryptocurrency game because of the lack of fast pace in the game where a  lot of players are looking for, they are looking for games with instant results like Dice.
3266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't care about the price now. Nobody knows how much my portfolio is worth on: March 19, 2018, 03:01:04 PM
It is a good thing that you are thinking positively about your investments in the cryptocurrency market, however you are wrong. You must care about the prices right now as even though you are looking to cash out your investments in the future you can still take advantage of the prices right now. And what I mean about that is you can do buy and sell, where you sell at its highest price and buy it again at a lower price. The effect is you are increasing your position as you are adding more and more quantities of cryptocurrencies in the process.
3267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse on: March 19, 2018, 12:02:23 PM
Is Jeff Horn out of his head? What a complete disrespect for a Boxing Legend like Manny Paquiao he was lucky that he came out alive in the ring. If he really is the "stronger" fighter he must have challenged Pacquiao for a rematch instead of asking him to be in the undercard. Their is no doubt that Pacman's fighting career is on a decline now fighting outside of the U.S.A and his record is not good, he must need to think about a retirement as soon as he can as his health is also on the line, you will never know when it will damage your brain.
3268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: March 19, 2018, 10:07:05 AM
I don't think the promotions are necessary for Bitcoin Users to grow but it is necessary for Bitcoin Casinos to grow more against their competition. As you can see by now almost all cryptocurrency bettings sites offer the same game and the only thing different is what kind of promotions they are offering the more the promotions the more loyal members they will have as they know their money is being maximize while playing there. As for the players I think they will manage their own way of finiding one online casino for their own conevenience on betting online.
3269  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 19, 2018, 07:47:06 AM
LOTTERY ROUND 146
This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #6 with 2,566 tickets.
#1 won 1.41795683 BTC with 8,606,634 tickets.
The winner spend some good amount and have good reward in return but still its need too much luck which is not with every one as I am also spending some for long time but never have any win

Don't spend your money to buy these lottery tickets because there is no guaranty that even though you buy a lot of tickets you will win. Instead just try your luck every week with the free money site providing you. If you're lucky then those free lotteries should be good enough for you to win and no need of tons of lottery.
Agreed, assuming that he has no referrals and he only claimed the faucet partly he have spend more than .086 BTC just for a chance to be part of the winning bid. That gamble is kinds big and you will just really win if you are in the top 5 of the prizes. He is lucky that he won the jackpot. But people who are really lucky are the ones who win without even putting in their own cash. As they have maximized the free tickets they are having from FreeBitcoin. Remember why spend something when you can get it for free?
3270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading pump and dump group on: March 18, 2018, 05:16:26 PM
NO!!!!!!. Generally Pump and Dump groups are created based on greed. And usually the cryptocurrencies they are announcing in the group are already cryptpcurrencies they bought at a cheaper price before even the pump begins. Which means majority of the people in the group are already late in the action. These groups are not created for the purposed of you learning. Because oumping and dumping is really not based on any technical analysis it is just an organized buying and selling of groups.
3271  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any casino without on: March 18, 2018, 01:49:24 PM
Casinos who most likely ask identification and several documents because you are withdrawing a considerable amount are scam casinos. Usually they do this in order to stall the withdrawal or even stop the withdrawal at all as they really don't want you to win anything from them. Identification and necessary documents must be done in one of the initial steps of a casino if they need it for legal basis in order for you to bet in the first place. I have seen several cases like this and all of them never pay out at the end.
3272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: March 18, 2018, 11:24:32 AM
Nope but it will affect your money drastically in a negative way. Thinking positive when you are running cold on your bets will not work. It is not like pursuing something like a career where you are expecting for a job promotion. Continuing your bet even though you know you are not winning is like just putting more wood or oil into the flames as it doesn't really affect any kind of outcome of your game. Bets are a game of chance and you can't change it just by thinking positively on winning every bet you are doing.
3273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is for long term investment on: March 18, 2018, 07:56:59 AM
I don't think its for a long term investment. Why wait and hold for a long time when you can enjoy your returns now? Bitcoin doesn't have any stable growth and you will see that in just one day you have the ability to earn from your capital for more than 30%. Why wait? When you can sell it now and buy more later? Bitcoin being a unstable asset makes it more appealing for short term holders. There is no guarantee when you hold it in the long term that it will grow, it is not one of those buy and forget assets where you can expect to earn money after holding it for a long time.
3274  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, fair, LTC WAGERING COMPETITION (over 100 LTC in prizes) on: March 18, 2018, 06:21:56 AM
Small UI suggestion,

Change "Withdraw now" to "Withdraw later" or some other variation of "later" when the batch withdraw method is selected instead of instant. "Now" gives the impression that the withdraw will be sent immediately, like the instant method but the batch method does not work that way.
I don't think this is some sort of breakout feature , it's pretty obvious i see what you are pointing towards but currently it isn't a break out feature
He is not pointing about the feature or concerned that it is or it is not a breakout feature, what he wants to clarify is that YOLOdice needs to change their wording on the Withdraw Now feature as it can mislead players or members of their gambling site. He is talking about the Batch Withdraw Method where the withdrawal process is not instant as you will wait for other players to withdraw their earning.
3275  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen has locked my account for no reason on: March 17, 2018, 08:57:21 AM
You know the problem with big sites? Support gets slow. Look at how a user has to resort to making a thread here to get a response. I personally think it's not good practice for users but since he got his response finally, I guess you can't blame users for trying. My take on Nitro: respectable, a lot of happy players... but can't seem to shake the feeling you get whenever you see threads like this. I think we all miss DirectBet, don't we? You bet, and winnings are instantly returned. No fuss about deposits and accounts. Someone please bring a service like that back!
I don't think that you can call it a problem anymore. If you count big sites such as Facebook and Twitter and tried their support for account recover you will experience weeks or even months without the problem being fixed. So I could say that this sites really have slow tech support as they cannot cater all their members even if their database is electronic any automatic as they need to solve things manually on their part.
3276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 17, 2018, 06:42:58 AM
I don't know if Cavaliers can manage to prepare for Playoffs on right way. Currently, they don't look like a team that can compete for NBA Finals. It will be interesting to watch them in the last matches of the regular season.

Definitely, Portland, Toronto, and Boston are the team to beat (for me) in the east. Well, everything change once the POs started. We all know that Lebron's game in the POs is quite different from his regular season.

Spurs must win there remaining games to keep there dreams alive. Though, It's quite hard for them but it's a must. The return of Kawhi would give them the push to play harder and smarter but that doesn't secure them for a spot. Still hoping for the best for Spurs, especially this could be the last year of Manu.
*Portland Trailblazers is a Western Conference Team and they are currently in the 3rd which comes right after the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors. I don't know where you find out that Portland is on the East but that is purely wrong. No matter how Lebron's play off efforts are if he is always carrying his team on his back his efforts would be wasted. We cannot hide the fact but we all know why the team traded majority of its players it is because they don't have the chemistry to win a championship.
3277  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Don’t deposit on Bitstarz - scam on: March 17, 2018, 05:38:40 AM
So after winning big amounts on Bitstarz and sending in all required documents they asked for they later decides to close my account because they claim I have multiple accounts on there site, one week earlier I asked for closure of my previous account because I input name wrong in my account and I am familliar with terms in casinos, butwith no response from there support, after winning big amount they decide to close my account for no reason. DONT DEPOSIT ON BITSTARZ!!

Hi there,

So, it's not just one account you have extra, but at least two accounts extra, and we can link multiple other accounts to your account. It's hard sometimes
for a casino to put all the fraudulent details out there of an account, because we still have to protect the identity of the player. However, here are some
details which we can share without putting your identity in jeopardy.

We have 3 accounts in your name. Emails follow the same pattern and on the account, it's your name. These 3 accounts has been opened in less
than 10 days, so it's not the case of you forgetting you had an account with us and got a new one. You have deposits on one of the other accounts
which was created 8 days ago.

Further details here also include you trying to deposit using a foreign card in another persons name on your account, which also breaches another
term in the casino, and that one of your email addresses is related to another fraud thread here on Bitcointalk. With the consent of the OP, I'd be happy
to share a link to that thread.

I understand that there's a bit of skepticism from a lot of people in the forum, because there's been quite a few scam accusations against us. With that
being said. Pick any online casino out there and google the name followed by the word scam, and you'll see it's not just us. There's just two conclusions to be drawn here, either we're all a bunch of scammers, or not everything that is written online is true. I don't claim to be right every time, as we have indeed
corrected ourselves when we've messed up in the past, and I think if you have messed up, you should make it right.

I think there are two sides to every story here, and if we all are objective and coming with rational arguments both ways here, we can have a productive discussion.

Olle, BitStarz

You are a Bitcoin Gambling Site, your argument on proving that he is using multiple accounts and also linking his card seems to be not right. Yes it is money but your are a Bitcoin gambling site players who are betting in your site wants to remain anonymous and they don't want to be process like any normal gambling site. Closing his account now which he have won big seems to be not right as you are not letting him have the money he won.  You must know that he has the right to his money and having multiple accounts does not prove that he have cheated on winning big on one of them.
3278  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-15] Soon There Will Be More Bitcoin Investors Than Stock Traders in Ind on: March 16, 2018, 04:00:10 AM
People are not dumb anymore. They will look at the best opportunity possible. And by best opportunity they will look where their money can have the highest returns possible. And knowing Indonesia there are no notable companies even the ones considering IPOs to make their own citizens interested in investing their own stock market. The repeated warnings being issued by their central bank wiuld be useless as they knoe that all investments have their own risks.
3279  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative investments on: March 16, 2018, 03:03:10 AM
Most of the answers to your question are another cryptocurrencies which I really don't recommend. If you are thinking about "Investment" you must think outside of the box as investing in another cryptocurrency is really not called diversification, you will now see it in the market, once the King falls everybody in the market turns red (that is how influential Bitcoin is to other cryptocurrencies). You must invest in another market like the stock market as you can never go wrong to a company who has a stable income and a bright future, the returns won't be as good in the cryptocurrency market but it is not bad at all compared to just putting your money in banks.
3280  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ? on: March 15, 2018, 11:20:01 AM
I can't say that majority of the central banks of different nations are directly shutting down Bitcoin. Only a few of them officially do not recognize Bitcoin as a mode of payment. Most of the central bank is doing are issuing warnings to their citizens about the common scams associated to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This are of course investment schemes such as HYIPs and cloud mining sites. What I can say about that is not a direct threat to Bitcoin but rather a notice to the greater welfare of their citizens.
