3281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 20, 2020, 12:47:00 PM

No, it would help, what if refs would make bad calls to favor a certain team, that would help a certain team to win as refs decision is final, they can call a foul even without a foul and every points in basketball matters a lot especially if the game is close.

I agree that a bought referee can of course have an impact on a basketball game, but i also think that impact is very limited he can call a foul here or there which wasn't one but not to often or it becomes to obvious that something is fishy.
So it has to be a really close game that those few bad calls of the referee can make the difference, as someone who wants to manipilute a game to have a sure bet that would be way to uncertain for me.
If you look at football (soccer for americans) 1 goal can make the difference there, so if the referee calls a penalty without someone fouling then this definitely has a huge impact.
The higher leagues have the video assistant referee now so i don't think it's doable there anymore but in lower league it's still possible.
3282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 19, 2020, 09:37:50 PM
I really can't imagine that the NBA is being rigged, and by that i mean that a whole team is involved to let another team win or something.
That indivual players are bought to make 5 fouls before halftime or something like that is imaginable, you can also bet on stuff like that, but like i said the the whole league is rigged is impossible to me.
Buying a referee also won't help you to win in basketball i think.
There is just too much money involved just like in the NFL and in the european football (soccer) leagues that you can manipulate those completely.
3283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 19, 2020, 05:21:48 PM
The reason bounties exist in the first place is to generate attention for a project and by doing this to recruit additional investor for the project.
That's why there are still a lot of projects that are doing bounties in the first place, if they would be harmful to a project than there would be no bounties.
To have an positive impact, projects need to think about the metrics of a bounty. If you give away 5% or more of the total token circulation which can be sold on the day at listing than it is pretty obvious that this will hurt your project or at least the shortterm price of your token.
3284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 19, 2020, 02:54:21 PM
All clubs are in financial crisis this year. The effects of the coronavirus epidemic have diminished somewhat, but clubs have not yet fully resolved their financial problems. At this time, if the government lockdown everything again, the clubs will face more financial problems. So all the clubs will try to continue the game. But it is much more risky. I think the safety of the players should be considered first without worrying about finances.

Of course the pandemic had a financial impact on all clubs. Just look at the last transfer period the sums that were payed there were significantly lower compared to the times before the crisis.
But financially healthy clubs like Bayern, Dortmund, Freiburg and Leverkusen are not in danger of getting bankrupt. Because all of them acted rationally before the pandemic and therefore now have financial reserves.
Schalke already were in financial troubles before covid and if the current situation goes on for much longer than this could be final nail in their coffin.
3285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: November 19, 2020, 02:24:07 PM
Do bitcointalk and altcointalks forums belong to the same owners?
If not than this seems like a move from altcointalks to get some users of bitcointalk to enter their forum instead, because i don't think it is possible to join a signature bounty twice with your altcointalks and bitcointalk account.
And during bounties is pretty much the only time where the forum rank really matters. If you just want to engage in the conversation on altcointalks, then you could just create a new account and start chatting.
3286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 18, 2020, 09:54:08 PM
I think the german government will try to proceed with the professional sports leagues in germany as long as possible.
Amateur sports already need to pause during november, but bundesliga clubs are also companies and employers and some of them already struggled financially even before the crisis.
So if another complete lockdown would occur now i think clubs like schalke for example could be in huge trouble and probably would be in real danger of going bankrupt.
3287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 18, 2020, 08:59:58 PM
Usually i don't judge people that i don't know personally, but to me it seems that Joachimg loew just became to stubborn and arrogant after the world cup win in 2014 and alle the praise he got back then.
The decision to sack Boateng, Hummels and Müller was completely unnecessary and i think he only did it to profile himself and it went horribly wrong.
If Löw was a club trainer he would have been already fired a long time ago, it's time to do that now and then the new manager must bring Müller, Boateng and Hummels back.
3288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another scam bounty campain Yearn.Global on: November 18, 2020, 06:53:56 PM
I just looked at their website and at their bounty thread and it just doesn't look very convincing at all.
Than the name "Yearn.Global". If you search for "yearn" on coinmarketcap you get around 20 results.
So it's pretty obvious that this project was a lazy attempt to profit from the defi hype that was going on until a few weeks ago.
Now that this hype is over the devs of this project didn't bother to continue anymore.
3289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 18, 2020, 03:41:11 PM
I am pretty hyped for that fight also. I mean of course it's a publicity gag more or less but both of them are one the list of the top 10 best boxers ever, probably even top 5.
They will also use softer gloves so that the impact of the punches isn't as heavy as it would be normally which also makes sense given the fact that they are both over 50 years old.
I am almost sure that Tyson will win, just look at the training videos from both of them on youtube. Roy jones looking good too no doubt but tyson looks like he is training for a gladiator battle.  Shocked
3290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins I have in my wallets on: November 18, 2020, 11:22:57 AM
You have some good and established altcoins in your wallet. I would definitely hold komodo, BTC gold, BTC SV, Litecoin, and ZCash.
Also the halving of zcash is pretty close so this could give an additional impulse for the price of Zcash to rise.  Wink
Zclassic on the other hand is pretty much dead. There was a huge hype around it 2 years ago with price of 100$ and more but now its below 0,5$ for more than a year.
I don't think you can expect anything from zclassic anymore.  Undecided
3291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: November 17, 2020, 07:46:48 PM
The biggest money making slot in crypto space is to be

1. a developer
2. build crypto wallets for new projects
3. find bugs in the system of many new projects

yes some paid for security breaching and all that stuff, rendering professional services is the best way to make money in crypto space now

I don't say that you are wrong with your statement OP but that would mean that most people can't make money with cryptos (except investing with FIAT) because most people simply are not skilled developers.
For those people like myself there are only Bounties and Airdrops left to make a little money out of it.
If you look at all those BTC paying bounties that are ongoing at the moment then you will notice that you can make a nice amount of money with them (around 250$ per month are possible).
And thats a serious amount of money at least for people from third world countries.
3292  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Radix Sale Update & Liquidity Mining Rewards on: November 17, 2020, 06:26:57 PM
Seit ein paar Stunden läuft der Handel mit den E-Rdx jetzt auch auf Uniswap.
Link: https://info.uniswap.org/token/0x6468e79a80c0eab0f9a2b574c8d5bc374af59414

Roll Eyes
3293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 17, 2020, 02:53:13 PM
Of course you shouldn't avoid any african project just because one known crypto scammer is from nigeria.
But you also can't blame someone that made a personal negative experience with an african project (it was the DimCoin ICO in my case, which is pretty much completely dead now) that he is in extra wary in the future before he invests in projects that are from the same region.
I like the fact though that nigeria is now officially looking for this dude now. I hope they get him.
3294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero (XMR) ever break its ATH price? on: November 17, 2020, 02:02:33 PM
I think that monero has a good chance to reach the heights of it's ATH again if a bullrun similar to the one in 2017 starts again.
The same goes for all established altcoins in my opinion.
In my opinion the big difference with the next bullrun will be that we will not see every shitcoin pump like crazy like we did in 2017.
Coins like Monero, ETH, Dash and so on will definitely pump again when a real bullrun starts.
3295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 17, 2020, 01:11:04 PM
I think that in this season we could see some new teams or underdogs in the quarter- or semifinals and maybe even in the final.
Some of the teams that usually reached this late stages of the tournament in the last years are not performing well at the moment.
Just look at Barca and Madrid, but also Liverpool, Paris and Man City.
On the other hand are we still a few months away from those stages, so a lot of things can change till then.
3296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lebanon to launch digital currency in face of economic and financial turmoil on: November 16, 2020, 11:14:10 PM
From what i have witnessed so far it seems that countries that are poor, unstable or have other problems (like lebanon in this case because of the huge explosion that happened in beirut) are the first ones which try to launch their own official digital currency.
I guess the reason for that is that it's pretty cheap and quickly done to create a digital currency compared to other measures.
Let's hope that this will help lebanon to come out of their current crisis, it would be good for their people and a good example for the success of a digital currency.
3297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will crypto behave during a Biden presidency? on: November 16, 2020, 09:07:50 PM
I don't think that the election of biden has a big impact on the crypto scene.
Maybe if he gives a clear statement that he wants to help cryptocurrecies to become established in traditional institutions maybe that would have an impact.
I'm not sure if something like this is to be expected from a 77 year old.  Roll Eyes
Recently it was announced that Gary Gensler a Wall strett veteran who is close to the crypto market will lead a financial policy transition team, let's see what comes out of that.
3298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Will you Invest in Ethereum ICO if it is just Starting ? on: November 16, 2020, 07:40:47 PM
Sadly i wasn't involved in the crypto space back then when ETH launched.
If we look back now it might seem to be a no-brainer for us that we would have invested in the ETH ICO back then but of course it wasn't sure at all that Ethereum would become such a massive success.
But ETH was very interesting back then even for a someone with not much IT knowledge, with all those new and unique features that Ethereum offered back then with Smart Contracts the possibility to easily create own tokens and so on.
3299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 16, 2020, 01:43:02 PM
I can definitely see that central banks will issue their own digital currency in the future. For example a fully digital blockchain-based EURO.
The whole cryptocurrency scene keeps growing and traditional institutions also want a piece of the cake sooner or later  Smiley.
I don't think though that central banks will use existing stable coins because "official" digital currencies probably need to have way higher standards regarding to how they need to be backed and insured and so on.
Also i wonder how for example a digital EURO would be implemented. Would it be in addition to the already circulating traditional EURO? Probably not because that would generate inflation. Huh
I guess they would subsequently replace traditional currencies with their fully digital pendant.
3300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: November 16, 2020, 01:13:40 PM
I have never been a big fan of those IEO's, especially those from binance  Tongue. My guess would be that 90% of the people who invested in those didn't do it because they were convinced that those are great projects  Roll Eyes.
They just bought the tokens to immediately sell them again once they get listed on the exchange because for a lot of people a binance IEO means guaranteed profit no matter what project is offered.
But now that they were so many IEO's already they are nothing special any more and there are less people that are waiting to buy those tokens once they are listed which results in lower ROI.
