3281  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: June 24, 2019, 02:32:47 PM
Social media and other addictive Internet sites - people are constantly glued to them, even on their work, which decreases their productivity. Social media also cause depression in many people, because they not only procrastinate, but also constantly compare their life to others, which leads to dissatisfaction. Also social media are good at spreading lies and fakes, which can have negative effects on the economy - anti-vax panic, anti-GMO, political manipulation and so on.

Talking on social media vices, understandable they are not but that is not saying that there are no good side to social media that has also helped the economy and, it is also helping it. For example, information about government policies, employment chances are being disseminated through social media and handles so many times.

More too is that awareness of how to make money on the internet comes from social media most of the time. Like cryptocurrency trading, forex and commodities etc. Those can help individuals and cause a growth in the country's economy.
3282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa needs bitcoin, not a charity on: June 23, 2019, 05:30:46 PM
I think a possibility of crypto would ease the life of many africans, this privelege would give a great benefit for them, not talking about the development

This is a matter of taking the horse to where to drink and leaving it to decide to drink or not. Crypto is available for all people that is interested.

but Africans seem just interested by BTC, few of them use the BTC!
The adoption rate is slower in countries that are not technologically developed, that is the thing happening

3285  Economy / Economics / Re: 🤔 being on the right side of the trend.... on: June 09, 2019, 06:45:11 PM
how useful are these tools in answering the only question that matters — being on the right side of the trend

Some traders use trend lines to determine this by aiming a longer timeframe. The longer time frame can really give you a longer direction. Maybe from, daily, weekly and monthly.

and how long is the trend likely to last?

I don't know if this can be known because sometimes, some traders say market has been over bought or sold but it does not revert. It all depends because before the reversion it can take more time.

I think Jay Z and Mr Hudson has a song like OP's title.

Hey l like your post. And it is true if your adulthood or ageing is turning out in a better form or gracefully. You won't feel any worry about the grey hairs if they are coming out.

many billionaires are constantly afraid of losing everything

Yes and this is peculiar to every person even those who don't have. In the matter of the billionaires, they are already established, they might not be going to office everyday, they can be at home and control staff who work for him. This is exactly one advantages of internet facility and mobile phones too. Is q modern world we are and most people don't go out daily to work for money all day.

I'm hoping that ETN will pick up this third quarter of the year.
3289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Room on: June 03, 2019, 06:18:35 PM
Hello,

I am an active crypto trader and recently I stumbled across TradingRoom. (www.tradingroom.io)
I would like to know if any one here has used this tool and how apt were the predictions based on the data it provided.

Whatever you are doing there, you just be careful until you have studied them and build trust with the site. If you need to send coin or money equivalent, you just don't throw all into it and gradually you will know them better. I have not used that site before.
3290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A simple and important question to me on: June 03, 2019, 11:32:28 AM
I got $ 20 from the site and I took a screenshot of it. Unfortunately, I do not know how to put the picture with the Post?
Upload the image in https://imgur.com then post the link in the reply of this post.

On a side note, your image will not be visible here since your are a newbie however we can visit the link and can see it.

Cheers :-)

I see some members being very helpful. Cheers  Grin

Op should try and tell us what he or she did to get that $20 and how long it took. In fact, sharing the site will be welcome, I hope not a phishing site though.

Even as I don't favour ripple in certain angle but I know the developers have their way of manipulating themselves in things that will keep the project running, so I think it will get there. My second choice is Montero and another, maybe EOS.
3292  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price will never be seen again? on: June 03, 2019, 09:01:39 AM
So, let's predict what price will never be seen again! I think we won't see anything lower than $5,700 ever again, and the next few weeks is the last opportunity for bearish movements that can bring Bitcoin to below $6,000.

Really so ? This your price seem even close because we just left there barely a month ago. No body expected price to go down to even $3500 since a year ago. Well, I'm predicting that we won't see price go down to $1,000  Grin
3293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY SUCCESSFUL GAMBLER on: June 03, 2019, 08:39:59 AM
i am sure someone would be encouraged. Lets go guys Roll Eyes

For myself, I have not seen a gambler who is successful. By successful, I mean relying on it totally and taking care of the family, building house and living a very comfortable life like a business man, no.

It is always, a win big today and lose much tomorrow and the money goes back  Shocked
3294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The similar chart of GOLD and BITCOIN on: June 03, 2019, 08:14:46 AM
The price of bitcoin can not be compared with gold because gold is relatively stable and the wave of bitcoin is high, then more people are adopting. I think we are going to meet a new ath this year or in early 2020.
3295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS tumbles after Block.one announcement? on: June 02, 2019, 12:44:27 PM
There is no need to panic with EOS because the team is working harder and it is beginning to gather large community. I see the drop as normal after the news but soon it will regain the loss and continue up.
3296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold and USD? on: June 02, 2019, 12:10:53 PM
but for some people the instability is an advantage of bitcoin, compared to gold and USD.

Yes because it is a time to make fast money which is one benefit of bitcoin if you understand when it is to bull. This is because it is an investment instrument for wealth.
3297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: May 31, 2019, 06:24:18 PM
We are growing in technology and the glove need innovations that will vastly catch up with the movement. Bitcoin is placed for that and if it is no more, we are going to have a more so better tech replacing it. I hope this can go a long way to your question.
3298  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself, we could be in for a rally in June on: May 31, 2019, 05:48:53 PM
The may run has already prepared a better june. If that history will repeat itself, we can't stop it. I wound even prefer that to happen because we have been down for long. Shocked
3299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet The Man Behind who started "india wants crypto" Movement on: May 31, 2019, 04:33:17 PM

Will the Indian government legalize crypto in India? let me know

I can't say exactly now but there are possibility that it can happen in the future. The world is being globalized and new things are coming in to update old stuffs, so it is possible even with such awareness going on with the youths in India.
3300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin grows, worlds money and big fishes. Is this connection obvious? on: May 31, 2019, 03:57:46 PM
I'm just reading on this now and don't think I have seen it before on the forum. What I know of trump is with forex trading. I don't know if he has started supporting crypto too.
