3281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 20, 2018, 06:37:25 AM
I've been using a new system a just started for this year's World Cup, but I haven't posted any of the plays.

So far, I am up a little less than 2 units but I honestly think my strategy may be on the radar of the bookies as I've noticed some adjustment in juice,

Nonetheless, there have already been some major upsets in this year's World Cup and at this point it's anyone's tournament.
3282  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance about to offer Fiat-Crypto Trading. on: June 20, 2018, 06:34:56 AM
Really looking forward to being able to trade some alt coins to fiat.

It's much, much more convenient to be able to trade alt coins for cash then trading Alt coin -> BTC -> Cash.

Binance is giving a lot of early ICO participants the opportunity to cash out some of our gains without having to convert to BTC, so I'm thrilled about the new pairing.

3283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: June 20, 2018, 06:32:47 AM
I've never been to the point where I've felt "enough is enough" and I've considered giving up my rather expensive hobby.

I do know a few people (one in particular) that chooses to lie to his family in order to get out to the casino to play poker.

If there ever comes a time where a gambler finds himself having to lie in order to gamble, there may be a sign there that it's time to stop.

Also, if someone is having a tough time paying their bills or supporting their family, eliminating gambling from their life would be a vital option.
3284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: June 20, 2018, 06:30:10 AM
No I don't feel shameful for being a gambling, not even the slightest.

Gamblers are known as risk takers and for having the cojones to put their money where their mouth is.

If someone like myself chooses to habitability gamble, there is no need for panic or concern.

On the other hand, if someone clearly has a gambling addiction and it is affect his life, then maybe there can be some shame.

3288  Economy / Services / Re: [FANCHAIN] by SportsCastr 🔥Signature campaign🔥Earn up to $125/week for posting on: June 18, 2018, 03:17:26 PM
The cut-off time to end the week is in less then 1 hour, so I will report back in this thread tomorrow (Monday) once I have received my funds for the week.
Thank you to campaign manager bountyportals, SportsCastr and everyone at FanChain for allowing my participation as we help in the promotion of this project.

Payments will be transfered tomorrow.

Yeah thanks for making an appearance; I have already reached out to management and devs since you were no where to be found.

Also, are you aware that one of your Legendary participants isn't even wearing your Signature?   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=349097

You may want to do a better job in your selection and overall monitoring of this campaign if you expect potential investors to take it seriously.

If all you care about is filling your quota and don't care about the longevity of FanChain, then keep doing what you're doing.

3291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: June 17, 2018, 06:58:42 AM
Setting personal limits for yourself in sports wagering is intuitive if you want to survive and be around for a while.
Without limits, people tend to "chase" and can in return dig themselves into a deeper hole.
Rather than doing this, it's best to just turn off your computer or log out of your account and wait for another opportunity to beat the bookies.
3292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price is up, volume is down, Is this a bull trap? on: June 17, 2018, 06:55:58 AM
If you have this specific mind frame when it comes to buying and selling crypto, not only will you lose your mind but you'll also waste a lot of time pondering it.
The best time to buy in is when you feel comfortable doing so; not when you try to predict the current market or where it will be in the near future.
Trying to forecast future crypto prices is nearly impossible and people lose their life savings thinking they can day trade.
3293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 3 altcoins to invest in NOW on: June 17, 2018, 06:53:33 AM
Top 3 alt coins to invest in right now would have to be:

1)  Ethereum
2)  Golem
3)  Stellar Lumens

Of course, this has nothing to do with the fact that I'm personally invested in them.
3294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does world cup Football 2018 not have any effect on crypto market. on: June 17, 2018, 06:51:47 AM
Been giving this a lot of thought lately and also was curious about the correlation of the World Cup and Bitcoin transaction fees.
It seems that, at least for the past few days, that transaction fees have been much higher just before and even during World Cup matches.
While this is possibly a random coincidence, I still think it's awfully ironic to say the least.
3295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: June 17, 2018, 06:43:02 AM
Both to be honest but if it was a gun to the head type of position and you could invest in one of the two, I would have to choose ETH.
Primarily because it has actual use cases and I'm a fan of many of the applications.  Many of which I have an invested interest in  Grin
3296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: June 17, 2018, 06:31:54 AM
More often than not, people will sell their bounty tokens immediately if they don'r believe in the project.
I will be receiving FanChain tokens at the conclusion of their crowd sale @ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4423520.0
I will not be selling the tokens, because I think FanChain is a seriously awesome project and as a big NBA fan, I'm eager to see it's launch and the possibility of getting paid to commentate for my professional sports teams.
3297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: June 17, 2018, 06:28:19 AM
Anything below $500 is an absolute steal regarding entry point for Ethereum.
By far the most powerful token related to blockchain technology, we've already tested prices upwards of over $1200.
To think we won't see that price again is crazy; so in conclusion YES buy the hell out of ETH and HODL it.
3298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your favorite game? on: June 17, 2018, 06:22:29 AM
Blackjack, poker and craps are my favorite table games when I'm in a casino.
When it comes to playing online, my favorite game is definitely poker, and sports betting too.
3299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: June 17, 2018, 06:21:11 AM
In my opinion, some of the most unique advantages of online gambling is that you can do so anonymously in the comfort of your own home.
Another advantage that I factor in when playing online is the ability to play poker without having to sit at a table with 10 annoying people lol
3300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a scam ? on: June 17, 2018, 06:17:51 AM
Some of the biggest giveaways to a scam site is:

1)  Poor and improper English
2)  New accounts making promises that are uncommon
3)  When the rep refers to you as "sir" in every other sentence
4)  Cheaply designed website
5)  When they buy social media followers, likes and the related
