Stand struggle during the bubble, Nabong was always there to help by producing for the team. , milder version of Calvin Abueva hehehe. For his size and athletic ability he is a good use for a team that is looking a player that will fill the power forward position but the critical problem of this guy is his attitude. Nobody knows when he's gonna explode lol and be ejected. He may do more harm than good to a team, seen that often. NorthPort should be careful on assessing whether they want this guy back or they will just pick someone on the draft which is much cheaper and tamable. |

I'm a believer that there is no such thing as an easy fight in boxing but this Canelo vs Yildirim is really an easy fight for him. He may win this without a serious training but the good thing about Canelo is he always trained hard whenever he is scheduled to fight. Canelo is on the peak of his career now and whoever it is on the opposite inside the ring, i think will gonna lose. They may say it is cherry picking but i think it is just about Canelo who seems unbeatable at this stage of his career. |

Fair trade as both teams will benefits for those players involves, I like Amir but it's true that he's lack in defense and Bolts needs another guy who can provide both offense and defense to strenghten their squad. Fair trade? I don't think so  . This trade is just like the Perez trade. Perez, the no.1 pick in exchange for a bunch of role players while Belo, the no.1 pick in exchange for a single inconsistent offensive Amir . Who do you think win? This is a double win for Coach Black as we all knew that the Bolts is in dire need of bigs so Belo is a big help and disposing Amir will benefit Coach Norman's son, Aaron as he will now be the main point guard of the Bolts if Newsome will play the 2 spot. I'm curious bro, where did you read that rumor? is there any site or PBA forum where we can check the forum. Honestly, the sites that I follow are Pba.ph and spin.ph only because these are just the sites that are posted here every time some poster give some update or news.
I am just following private individuals on FB who are claiming they have credible news sources inside the PBA and in fairness to them some of the rumors they released became true  . If we rely too much on SPIN.PH and PBA.PH, we might be the last one to know about that news lol. Here is a sample of what the guy posted on his FB page:

Looks like we have some good news, Greg Slaughter is back in the PBA, he might not be able to completely stop Fajardo but he can minimize Fajardo's offense in the floor, I like the chances of the Gin kings now since they are also coming from a championship and a win, and even with CJ on board with SMB, I guess Ginebra still as a good shot of winning a championship again.
Looks like Greg has no more options left except to sign for the Kings lol. With how things are moving now on the PBA, i think trading Slaughter to another team will not happen this season as there are rumors that Magnolia is interested in having Cstand but with a high price, Ian Sangalang and Jackson Corpuz, this is only a rumor until approved . |

I'm not familiar with this fight but since the thread was already created and the fight is going to happen this month, I think I'll put my interest to it.
The odds is good for the underdog, Oscar Valdez is still undefeated with 22 KOs from 28 wins, I think this kid has a decent KO rate.
That's one of the reason why i'm making a thread about this fight, though Oscar Valdez is moving up in weight to fight Berchelt, he had a decent chance of defeating the champ. In terms of the quality of opponents both fighters have faced, Berchelt have the advantage and this maybe the reason why bookies have put him the favorite but with the KO rate of both fighters i think this won't go the distance and it could go either way and if odds for a KO win for Valdez is very tempting then i would not hesitate to pull the trigger . |

SMB is not the SMB like before that even you put out Fajardo, they are still a beast. Terrence Romeo and CJ Perez will share the same role so unlike in DYIP where the latter always do the playmaking, he will adjust to the SMB's system limiting his offensive role unless he will decide to take over.
Setting aside other SMC teams, A healthy Phoenix or TNT can handle them. SMB just become more threat again because of Fajardo, not with CJ Perez. Take out Fajardo and SMB will struggle again even CJ Perez on-board.
You nailed it mate, no matter how they say that SMB is a strong team but if you take the Kraken out they will still be an ordinary team though a contender but not assured a seat in the Finals. We have seen that during their Petron days, their line-up back then can represent the the Philippines in the Asian games lol but they struggle a lot as it is very hard to coach an All-star team. |

Broner is already a worn out fighter his boxing has been broken. We see how Pacquiao expose the weakness of his style in close range combat. He's an open book, should end his career if he's to lose with this match, we all know that Mexicans are skilled and love to brawl. Steady counter puncher like Broner should be an easy target. Probably the underdog has the upperhand here.
Though bookies has not yet placed an odds for this fight but i do think that Broner would be the favorite to win here and Santiago would be on the other side. He may have lost to Manny Pacquiao and have not fight since but i do thing he is not yet a worn out boxer, he is just 31 years old and i do think that he still have a fight left in him, he have to train more and talk less . |

We still have old veterans left in the PBA, if I'm not wrong, we still have the following players.
1- Mark Caguioa of Ginebra San Miguel (41 years old)
2- Rafi Reavis of Magnolia Hotshots ( 43 years old)
3- Reynel Hugnatan of Meralco Bolts (42 years old)
These players have not thought of retiring yet, so we might see them in the upcoming seasons. Rafi Reavis and Reynel Hugnatan are still very active as they are getting good minutes in a game, so I also like them to stay active.
